SCP#: AAH

Code Name: Pet Sematary

Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter fence and a several watch drones have been placed at the site. All locals have been notified to say away as it is a reserved Indian Burial Ground. The cover up story is that several children have entered the premise before and have tarnished the landscape hence why there are security drones and a fence to keep everyone and everything out. Should someone breach containment with the full intent to use the properties of SCP-AAH then they are to be stooped and interrogated. should their efforts be a success then the revived entity is to be hunted and incinerated, the user is then to be found and questioned of how they knew SCP-AAH's properties, and all other parties are to be found and given Class C Amnestics and all information is to be found and destroyed.

Description: SCP-AAH is a Native Indian Burial ground hidden next to a Pet Cemetery, the burial ground in question does not contain any corpses most likely due to the abnormal properties of SCP-AAH. SCP-AAH is located in [data expunged]. When a corpse is buried in SCP-AAH the corpse will reanimate after a certain period of time, how this is done is entirely unknown. Testing has shown the resurrection process to range between twenty minutes to half a day. Any and all living beings resurrected tend to have a warp in personalities, for example: a good-willed man will start to act like a delinquent and a murderer will be inspired to become a doctor. However, this is only temporary as regardless of your personality, all corpses resurrected by SCP-AAH eventually gain murderous tendencies and start to kill those that are around them for any given reason. Afterwards the resurrected now dubbed SCP-AAH-1 will then drag any animals or people they have killed back to SCP-AAH and bury them to make more instances of SCP-AAH-1. It should be noted that any corpses that are buried by SCP-AAH-1 entities resurrect faster and instantly become violent toward the living. However, unlike SCP-AAH-1 entities they are calmer and loving in appearance. They seem to prefer to use deceit to lure their prey into the SCP-AAH to be killed and buried. Because of their more complex behavior these entities have been dubbed SCP-AAH-2 any organism burred by SCP-AAH-2 will also become SCP-AAH-2.

SCP-AAH-1 and SCP-AAH-2 instances have no regenerative properties and are essentially as dead as they were when buried. As such SCP-AAH-1 and SCP-AAH-2 instances are immune to medical, gas, and even memetic based effects. However, SCP-AAH-1 and SCP-AAH-2 instances are quite fragile to electricity and fire and tend to melt and fall apart when burning or electrified directly. SCP-AAH-1 and SCP-AAH-2 instances do have great strength and durability against firearms but that is more attributed to their lack of pain and already dead body's rather than any enhancements provided by SCP-AAH.

SCP-AAH was first discovered on [data expunged] when several reports of gruesome murders and supposed resurrections took place at [data expunged]. Foundation research went to the area and thanks to local folk tales were able to find SCP-AAH. Due to the properties and ability to resurrect a corpse to near perfection SCP-AAH, it was considered a high priority to delete, redact, and expunge all date revolving around SCP-AAH's properties and its location to even Foundation staff. only Level 4 and higher are able to access said information.

Due to their behavior, a test was proposed where SCP-AAAH-1 and/ or SCP-AAH-2 entity's will be sent into the same cell of hostile and human hating SCP for reaction purposes. See addendum X-6 for details.

Addendum X-6

- Test 01: SCP-682 vs SCP-AAH

To prepare for the test a class D was executed and buried within SCP-AAH. Afterwards another class D was sent in and was quickly killed by SCP-AAH-1 entity. After the SCP-AAH-2 entity manifested the SCP-AAH-1 entity was quickly killed off by Foundation guards while the SCP-AAH-2 entity was restrained. SCP-682 was sedated and transported to his testing chamber and SCP-AAH-2 was sent into the chamber. The following is a recording of the encounter between SCP-682 and the SCP-AAH-2 entity.

SCP-AAH-2: why hello there, you're a big fella

SCP-682: ...you ...what are you? a mimicry of a rodent, yet something more... pleasing?

SCP-AAH-2: oh! why thank you!

SCP-682: you smell of life but also death... its pleasant yet disgusting. What are you?

SCP-AAH-2 remains silent as it gets closer to SCP-682. Once SCP-AMH-2 was close enough to SCP-682, SCP-682 just sniffed on SCP-AMH-2. After smelling SCP-AMH-2 for quite some time SCP-682 suddenly eats SCP-AAH-2, after swallowing the corpse SCP-682 seemingly smiles and laughs to itself. SCP-682 then notices the camera and speaks.

SCP-682: heh... whatever you did to that rodent, do it again. You monkey's always chase after perfection. you didn't get it, but you were pretty damn close.

- Test 02: SCP-049 vs SCP-AAH

To prepare for the test, another class D was executed and buried within SCP-AAH with an axe. After activation another class D was sent to SCP-AAH and was executed by SCP-AAH-1. After SCP-AAH-2 activated both SCP-AAH-1 and SCP-AAH-2 instances were captured and transported to SCP-049's containment cell. The following is a recording of SCP-049's interaction with both SCP-AAH instances.

SCP-049: Fascinating, Truely fascinating. There's no pestilence, however something else has taken its place. Is this perhaps better or worse?

Video feed has shown that SCP-AAH-2 grabs the axe from SCP-AAH-1 and uses it to slash SCP-049 in the stomach.

SCP-049: ... Definitely worse.

SCP-049 then stabs SCP-AAH-2 several times in the neck with a medical scalpel, SCP-049 then proceeds to grab SCP-AAH-2's head and rips it off. Afterwards SCP-AAH-1 starts screaming and crying while SCP-049 gets the axe out of his chest and opens his medical bag to treat himself. Once SCP-049 is done treating himself he notices that SCP-AAH-1 is no longer crying but instead laughing. SCP-AAH then picks up the axe and raise it up while laughing maniacally, SCP-049 stars at SCP-AAH-1 unimpressed. SCP-AAH-1 then charges as SCP-049 to which SCP-049 throws a scalpel at SCP-AAH-1. The scalpel manages to hit SCP-AAH-1 right in between the eyes and slightly glaze the brain causing SCP-AAH-1 to freeze in place. SCP-049 then calmly walks toward SCP-AAH-1 and forcefully takes the scalpel out. SCP-049 then drags both corpses to a table for an autopsy.

End Note: SCP-049 states that the "pestilence" that infected SCP-AAH-1 and SCP-AAH-2 was quite similar to the pestilence that he has been combating. However, he states that it is also quite weaker and very different for other reasons. When asked what exactly what those differences where SCP-049 stated: "Despite the obvious? This pestilence want's vengeance, while the other wants to simply grow." When asked to elaborate SCP-049 simply continued working and signaled the interviewer to leave the cell.

Furthermore, this is the first recorded instance where an SCP-AAH-2 instance was more hostile than an SCP-AAH-1 instance. Because of this revelation more testing with SCP-AAH instances with human hating and human sympathetic SCP's have been approved and are pending.
