SCP#: AAO
Code Name: Samael's realm/ Creator of Paradise's world
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The area of SCP-AAO's effect has been fenced off with the cover story being gasses escaping from the mines that killed all of the current residence is used to encourage travelers to not enter the premises. Foundation surveillance drones are to monitor the perimeter and interior area of SCP-AAO for any potential breaches and/ or civilian activity. Until the Foundation can create a proper dimensional gate allowing travel between our reality and SCP-AAO-1, no Foundation personal are allowed inside SCP-AAO's area of effect. Only AFA-2's disguised as humans are allowed on the perimeter fence of SCP-AAO, there are no exceptions.
Description: SCP-AAO is a large but rural town known as Silent Hill, Maine. SCP-AAO is a seemingly normal town that anyone can enter, however by doing so they will unknowingly be cursed by SCP-AAO and forced into a slumber they cannot wake form. What seems like death is actually the victim being transported to SCP-AAO-1. SCP-AAO-1 is a seemingly perfect imitation of SCP-AAO however in reality it is extremely warped and filled with monsters. Creatures inside SCP-AAO-1 are referred to as SCP-AAO-2 instances. SCP-AAO-2 instances have no consistency in appearance with some resembling mangled dead bodies, some resembling skinless humans with horrific appendages, and others resembling random household objects with human limbs growing out of them. SCP-AAO-2 instances seem to exist as protectors of SCP-AAO-1, thought how they are created and if they serve any other purpose is unknown.
SCP-AAO was discovered in 1999 when several disappearances were reported as well as the seemingly rapture event happening in Silent Hill. According to [data expunged] the events seemingly started when a demonic cult worshiping an entity known as the "Creator of Paradise" failed at making a ritual sacrifice. Because of the cult the demonic entity did enter the city but can now only exist in a pocket dimension of SCP-AAO-1 that can only be accessed by being exposed to the cursed air within SCP-AAO. Whether or not the nightmarish existence of SCP-AAO-1 or its SCP-AAO-2 inhabitants were intended by the cult or not is unknown. What is known is that the seemingly God like entity still resides within SCP-AAO-1 thought it has no physical form but seemingly has influence over everything that happens in SCP-AAO-1. The entity classified as SCP-AAO-3 however many at the Foundation who are aware of SCP-AAO-3 are hesitant to acknowledge SCP-AAO-3 even exists, this due to the inconsistency of stories.
It is possible for people who have been transported into SCP-AAO-1 to come back to our reality, but the chances are slim. Most that do come back end up having a different story about how or why they came to town and what they encountered inside the anomaly. As such it has been hypothesized that SCP-AAO is actually a gateway to several different SCP-AAO-1 realties with very few similarities. One survivor even reported that everything that happened in the SCP-AAO-1 they were in was actually all controlled by a shiba inu dog, so this theory seems plausible. The only thing that seems consistent in each survivor's story is that they all needed to kill either a creation of SCP-AAO-3 or an imperfect manifestation of SCP-AAO-3 itself in order to leave. Currently [data expunged] survivors have been rescued form SCP-AAO-3 and have been asked to join the Foundation because of the "Sole Survivor" protocol. As of late none have ever joined and instead agreed to be amnestied and given new lives as well as financial compensation for the information they provided.
SCP-AAO is under consideration of being turned into a Thaumiel class anomaly as it can be used to trap overly dangerous anomalies like SCP-682 and SCP-106. However due to the possibility of the anomalies escaping SCP-AAO-1 and the possibility that allowing dangerous anomalies into SCP-AAO-1 would result in SCP-AAO-3 becoming stronger, and God-like as the cult intended, this request is still under heavy debate.
