Chapter 6: Moonlight
Jamie woke up with the sun hitting his eyes. He opened his eyes just to close them back up as the blasted sun blinded him. He turned on his other side and searched for Elaine but she was not there. He opened one of his eyes to see the bed empty. Most likely it was empty for hours. He shrugged and closed his eye again and laid his head back on the pillow. He was going to fall back asleep when the door opened and his squire boy of ten and two came to the room holding his clothes in his hands.
"My Lord your father requested to speak to you in his solar." the boy said and Jamie groaned in his pillow. He looked at the boy who stood by is bed.
"Tell my father he can go and fuck himself." Jamie said closing his eyes back again. He wanted to be left alone today.
"My Lord?" The boy asked and Jamie groaned and sat up on the bed.
"Well I am up now. Lets get me dressed and see what his Grace wants." Jamie said and the boy gave a sharp nod. He helped his Lord get dressed.
"Where is my wife?" Jamie asked and the boy looked at him.
"She is in the gardens My Lord. With Lord Tyrion. They have been reading together." The boy said and Jamie gave a small smile. He many not love his wife but he respected how she treated his brother. She liked him. It was not pretended like any other ladies did in front of Jamie. She actually liked him and respected his brother and treated him like she would anyone else. He liked her too. They shared a passion for books together and since the two months that they have been married they grew closer together. Much closer than Jamie was with her. It should bother Jamie but he was just glad that his brother had a friend. A true friend.
"Tell them that I want to break my fast with them in the gardens after I speak to my father." Jamie said and the boy nodded. Before he left him in the chamber. Jamie felt weird. He was used to wearing armour and not a tunic and breaches all day. It was another one of the things he had to leave behind when he left the Kingsguard.
Jamie walked into his fathers solar who was writing a letter. His father motioned him to to sit in the char in front of him not even lifting is eyes. Lord Tywin never had any regard for anyone's time but his own. Jamie sat there staring at his father writing a letter for at least 30 minutes before his father took his eyes away from his letter.
"Well I am glad that you finally grace me with your attention." Jamie said but his father looked at him unimpressed.
"Your sister in with child. She will have a babe in less than half year. She is doing her duty. What about you. Are you doing your duty?" Jamie could barely hear the rest after his father stated that Cersei was with child. A child that was put into her by that oaf they call the King. That drunk that could not even rule his country. An oaf that had his sisters heart. His heart shattered at the thought. She moved on. She had a child. He looked at his father with hard eyes. Eyes so hard that could rival his own father.
"I am doing my duty father. We sleep in the same bed and she in not bad of a looker." Jamie said with a hard voice.
"Good. If not for your sisters meddling you would already be married with an air and a spare. I need to make sure you produce an heir. So that our legacy lives on. So that our family lives on." Tywin said and Jamie looked at him.
"What if I produce only daughters what will happen then?" Jamie asked and Tywin leaned back on his chair and looked at him unimpressed
"One will surely produce a son an he could be your heir." Tywin said and Jamie shook his head.
"You have another son father. Even at ten and two he is far better at ruling than I every will be." Jamie said and Tywin' face did not change.
"I will not let our legacy be put in his hands. Now stop this none sense and produce an heir. I have chosen her family as I knew she would be capable in producing children. Her own mother produce seven healthy children. If she is proved incapable you will put her aside and we will find you a new wife." Tywin said and Jamie closed his eyes and shook his head at his father's cruelty.
"What if I happen to fall in love with her in time?" Jamie asked and Tywin's eyes grew even colder.
"Love makes you weak son. Now go. I have work to do." Tywin said an went back to writing a letter. Jamie stood up and left the solar and walked into the gardens fuming.
Not only was Cersei happy and with child she was in love with the King. He saw it in her eyes when he left the Capitol. She loved the King. More than she ever loved him that was for sure. If she ever loved him.
"Stop it Jamie. Stop it right now. You need to let her go. You have a wife and will have your own family soon enough. You need to forget about her." Jamie though. It was easier said than done though. Jamie knew his heart was taken by Cersei and it will be hard to take it back. If he ever could give take it back.
When walking to the gardens he saw Elaine and Tyrion sitting together all hunched up in front of a book and laughing at something. It was a nice sound. Tyrion barely laughs. Especially in front of their own father.
"May I ask why are you snickering about in there." Jamie asked and startled the two people who looked at him. Both eeys were shining with the tears from their laughter.
"I am afraid that you cannot know. It is a secret." Elaine said and Tyrion tried to stiffle his laughter still.
"Is it wise to keep secrets from your husband." Jamie asked and looked at the beautiful eyes of his wife. Even now he cannot deny that her eyes were very beautiful. Blue like the clear skies.
"Nothing was ever wiser. Now we were waiting for you to eat." Elaine waved her hands at her handmaidens who nodded and left to bring them food.
"Uncle Gerion will be back in a fortnight. He will not stay long he will go to do another tour in the Free Cities. Do you think father will let me go this time. I want to explore just like Uncle Gerion." Tyrion asked as the food was brought out for them. Jamie looked at his brother and smiled sadly.
"I do not think that father would let you go." Jamie said and Tyrion looked at his plate sadly.
"he never lets me do anything. I will be a prisoner in this Castle until I die." Tyrion said and Jamie wanted to say something but Elaine touched his hand and smiled at him making Tyrion blush.
"We will go one day. Together. All three of us as a family. Then your father will not stop us." Elaine said and Tyrion gave a big smile before tugging in his food. Jamie and Elaine shared a secret look at a smile before they began to eat.
Another moon that passed and Jamie and Elaine were starting to talk more. Not just a word here and there like the first two months of their marriage but actually began to talk. Elaine found her husband funny at times but it was clear to see that Jamie was not meant to rule. He was a follower not a leader. He was more skilled in battle and fights then in numbers and ruling his country and that was what scared Elaine. That once her good-father will pass away that Jamie will not be able to handle the leadership. Tyrion at ten and two was more like his father. He was cunning and smart and knew how to make people do their bidding without them even realising it. Jamie was her favourite example.
Elaine will be there when the time comes and help her husband rule but she is a woman and she knew that she can only rule so much. Then Elaine thoughts went to Tyrion. He could help her brother. He could help her brother rue the Westerlands. He was smart and he was good at it. Elaine smiled and calmed down a little. She needed to make sure that they always remain at loyal to each other a they are right now and when the time comes the Rock will be ruled by two lions
"My Lady do I kneed to prepare your clothes for your moons blood?" one of the her handmaidens Yvene said and Elaine looked at her confused and remembered that her last moons blood was a week before her wedding and her wedding was three moons ago. Elaine looked at Yvene and smiled. Yvene also have her Lady a smile back as both had tears in her eyes.
"Do you want me to get the Maester?" Yvene asked and Elaine nodded.
"Please just do not say anything to anyone else. I want to Maester to confirm it please." Yvene nodded and Elaine was left in the chamber by herself. She touched her stomach and smiled. There was a baby growing inside of her. A little babe that her husband and herself produced. The future of house Lannister. She still could not believe she was a Lannister. Lady Lannister. She was doing well at her job. Aunt Genna was helping her and teaching her. The big woman was loud and hard just like Lord Tywin but she was helpful. She was really helpful.
The Maester came in with her handmaiden and Genna in tow. Elaine gave a look at her handmaiden who looked at her with apology. Elaine knew Genna had ear and eyes everywhere.
"Well child let us see if you are bringing the future of House Lannister." Genna said and Elaine blushed and nodded before lying down on the bed with her legs open for the Maester. Genna sat next o her and held her hand. Elaine was a little shocked at that but still looked at Genna with fear in her eyes. Genna gave her a small smile.
"Do not worry child. I will be here for you." The woman looked at her with encouragement as the Maester prodded and examined her. When he was finished he wiped his hands and smiled at her.
"Lady Lannister is with child." he said and Elaine smiled at Genna with tears falling from her eyes. Soon it was only Genna and Elaine in the bedchamber.
"How are you feeling child?" Genna asked as she drank water with lemon. Elaine looked at her and smiled nervously.
"I am scared. Scared that I will die in childbirth. My mother gave birth to seven healthy children yet still there could be a possibility." Elaine said and Genna took her hand in her own.
"I know it must be scary child. I have birth to four sons and I survived, my food sister and mother died because if childbed fever. I am not going to talk how strong you are and that you will survive as I do not know but what you must know is that you are a Lannister and everything you do will be for house Lannister." Genna said and Elaine understood. She knew her role. As long as she produces and heir her life was not as valuable. She only needed to do her job.
Soon she was left alone in her bedchamber and was waiting for her husband to return. She wanted to tell him the news. The sun was going down and he was no where to be seen. She remembered Tyrion telling her how his brother sometimes went to the beaches by the castle when he wanted to be alone. So she left their bedchamber and walked to the beach. She told her handmaidens to stay behind she did not want anyone to hear them talk.
When she found him it was dark only the full moon was giving him light. He was sitting on the beach looking at the stars. When she approached him quick as lighting he was on his feet his sword pointing at her. She gave out a scream of surprise and stopped in her tracks. Her heat beating so fast she was about to collapse.
Jamie looked at her and cursed under his breath before dropping his sword and walking over to her.
"Seven hell woman! I almost killed you." He said and put his hands on her face to check if she was fine. Her eyes were still wide and her heart still bating but her his hands in her face and his lips on her forehead calmed her down.
"I am sorry. Did not mean to scare you. Just wanted to see you." Elaine said and Jamie stepped away from her and nodded.
"Well I am here." He said extending his arms at the side and looking at her with a cocky smirk. She hated herself for it but she loved it.
"Yes you are here." She said more to herself rather than him.
"How does it feel holding her sword. My father never let me near one let alone hold one." Elaine asked and Jamie looked at her before chuckling and picking up his sword and handling it to her. It was heavier than she expected. Much heavier. Elaine looked at Jamie and took his sword and just held it not knowing what to do. Jamie chuckled at her once more and she wanted to pierce him with that sword for laughing at her.
"Well you need to point it at something or someone." Elaine said and pointed it at Jamie but it was to heavy to hold it for too long. Jamie walked over behind her and took her hand and held the sword with her pointing it at the air. It was Jamie who was doing much of the work as Elaine could only focus on his hand on her wrist and his other in her hip. His breath tickling her neck making goodbumbs appear on her body.
"You must let the sword be a part of you. It is a part of your arms. You see the ocean and how the waves move smoothly with each other. How they dance with each other you must do that with the sword as well." Jamie said his voice tickling her neck making the hair stand. She became breathless as they swayed side to side swinging the sword gently. Just like the waves in the ocean.
"When you and the sword are one you trust it to do the job for you. You learn to move with it. It moves you not you him." Jamie said and Elaine moved her head to the side to look at Jamie. His eyes were glowing in the moonlight. The speck of gold looked magnificent in his green eyes.. she swallowed the lump that was in her throat.
"Would you care for a swim." Jamie asked with the cocky smirk again and Elaine blinked trying to get out of the spell Jamie put her in.
"Yeah swim. It is a beautiful night. No one is here and there is a full moon. Lets go." Jamie said taking all of his clothes off and running to the ocean laughing in wonder. Elaine looked at him like he was crazy and shook his head.
"I am not going in the water. Someone can see." Elaine said and Jamie looked at her. His naked torse gleaming in the moonlight
"That is the beauty of it. The rush. Come and find out of are you too of a chicken to do it with me. It will be worth it I promise." Jamie called after her and Elaine narrowed her eyes at him. Every since she was a young child she hated being called a coward and that pride grew with her. She cursed under her breath as she untied her shoes. She could almost see Jamie smiling cocky at her. She took her shoes of and smiled as she touched the sand with her bare feet. She took of her dress and her small clothes not caring if someone saw her naked. she walked toward the water. It was colder than she though but she still went in shivering and stood next to Jamie who looked at her in wonder. She was also naked her breast were out of the water. He could see them. Jamie looked at her eyes and with one hand touched one of her breast gently making Elaine gasp with pleasure.
"Are they bigger. I swear they got bigger." Jamie said confused and Elaine chuckled first but then her chuckling turned into full blown laughter. She laughed so hard that she had to hold onto Jamie or the waves would take her deeper into the ocean. Once she calmed down enough to look at Jamie he was smiling. Not a cocky smirk he did most of the time. He never smiled before and she sighed. It was quite beautiful
"I do not know why you found it funny wife." Jamie said and Elaine chuckled once more before swimming around him loving the water on her naked body. Jamie stood there before he swam towards her and took her into his arms and locked her in his grip. His hands around her waist and his mouth on her shoulders kissing them before whispering in her ear.
"Why were you laughing at me wife." he said in a husky voice as his hands moved to her breast kneading them. She felt his arousal on her back and she put her head back on his shoulder and she shuddered in pleasure.
"They got bigger husband. They will get bigger still." Elaine said as once of Jamie's hands moved further down and one stayed on her breast. Playing with them.
"I like them larger." Jamie said and touched the curls on his wife mound. He teased her played with the sensitive nub making her breathe hard and her hand gripping for balance as his finger entered her. She whimpered and moaned a little as he pleasure her with his finger. He kissed her neck and nibbled there before biting her harder than usual making sure to leave a mark. She moaned louder and was meting her fingers as he was pumped in and out of them until she came undone with a strangled scream. He kissed her shoulder lightly a with a chuckle.
"Told you it will be worth it." Jamie said with a small smile. Elaine turned around in his arms and laughing before kissing him deeply. Jamie return the kiss with much fervour. He walked towards the beach and put her on the sand. He broke the kiss and looked at Elaine's face. She was quite beautiful. Very beautiful in the moonlight. Her bright eyes shining in the moonlight.
"Why will your breast grow bigger before long?" Jamie asked and Elaine laughed at him heartedly before she looked at him with her eyes.
"I am with child Jamie." Elaine said and looked at Jamie who seem to be frozen in shock. Elaine touched his cheek with her palm and she seemed to shake it off.
"Are you alright?" She whispered to him.
"I am not sure. I never expected to be a father. Well I never expected to be wed as well but here we are. I guess it was going to happen one day." Jamie said looking into the darkness and Elaine looked at him worried
"Are you angry?" Elaine whispered. Jamie looked at her and gave her a small smile. He touched her belly and moved down and kissed it. Elaine touched his head and smiled. Jamie moved back up and kissed her cheek.
"My father would be glad about it. He wanted me to produce an heir." Jamie said kissing her jaw and neck. Elaine stopped his face and moved it to look into his eyes.
"I was not asking about your father. I was asking about you." Elaine said asked and Jamie stopped and looked at her with a small smile.
"I am happy Elaine. A little scared that I will not be a great father. I did not have a great example. I do not want to be like my father." Jamie said and Elaine smiled and caressed her his cheek.
"You will not be your father. I saw you with Tyrion and how kind and caring you are with him. You will be a great father." Elaine said and kissed Jamie who returned the kiss. It was slower this time. More passionate. Elaine pushed Jamie on his back and he groaned into the kiss as Elaine straddled him. She broke the kiss and started to kiss and nibble on his jaw and neck as he growled. Elaine smirked and bit his neck marking him as well.
She guided his member into her and gasped and Jamie groaned. Jamie touched her belly and smiled. Soon it will swell with his child. He will be a father. He smiled as moaned as Elaine moved on top of him. He moved his hands on her hips and help her move. Soon enough he grew bored of having no control and moved Elaine on her back and thrust into her hard and fast as he took one of her nipples in his mouth. Elaine gripped his hair and shuddered as she was close again to coming undone. Jamie groaned as well as Elaine arched her back towards him and came. Jamie fallowed her within second coming harder than he ever had before. He fell on the sand next to his wife trying to catch his breath and brought Elaine close to him.
"I will not promise I will not fuck up Elaine. I probably will. A lot. I promise I will try as hard as I can do right by this child. The children we will have in the future and by you. You are my wife and I ignored you at the start of out marriage. I promise that I will not ignore you again." Jamie said looking down at Elaine who smiled at him and kissed him slowly on the lips
"I promise I will stand by you no matter what will happen. I am your wife now and always Jamie." Jamie kissed her nose before looking around him.
"I think we better get out of here. Someone might catch us." Jamie said and Elaine laughed.
"Now you think about it. After we make fuck on the beach." Elaine said and Jamie looked at her with a chuckle.
"Wife what sort of a language is that." Jamie said and Elaine smacked him on the shoulder and put on her dress.
"My hair must look a mess." Elaine said and Jamie chuckled. It did look a little messy. He put on his breaches and his tunic.
"It is fine. I know a way to get to our rooms undetected and then we will ask for a bath. I have sand in places where sand should not be." Jamie said and Elaine laughed loudly as they walked toward the castle.
Soo how did you like it. You like them together. Elaine and Cersei both are pregnant now. Cersei a little further along then Elaine. What you want Elaine and Cersei to have.
