Somewhere in Vale, Neo's POV
Bella, Luna and Neo were planning on just relaxing in their dorm room for the rest of the day. Instead, they had to go pick up a drunk Chris from Junior's. It was the third time in the current week Chris went to Junior's and got drunk. Once they arrived, they were shocked to see an under construction bar that looked tore down recently.
Bella: What the heck happened here?
Junior: Fucking blonde girl happened.
Luna: How so?
Junior: She came in here asking for information on someone I didn't know, one thing leads to another and she ends up defeating all my men and two of my most skilled guards. I didn't press charges since I knew she would do the same to me so I let her go easy.
Neo: Do you know where our teammate is?
Junior: Oh, he's in the corner, he gave me more money than any single customer today for drinks, though most of it might have been tips.
Bella walked over to Chris who was sound asleep. During the last two times, he was awake, which made it easier to bring him back. 'He looks cute when he's asleep' Bella thought as Neo and Luna arrived behind her.
Neo: Apparently, he was asleep during the whole fight with this so called "Blonde girl". Should I slap him?
Bella: NO! He's powerful enough when sober, who knows what damage he could do while drunk.
Luna: Why would he do damage?
Bella: He told me he hates waking up by force.
Luna: Then we will just teleport hime with us, who's taking him?
Neo: Luna, go with Bella. I'll take him.
With two simple nods, the girls waved goodbye to Junior and teleported back to their dorm room. Neo placed Chris on his bed and sat down on her own. They three stayed silent for a while until Luna got up after checking the time.
Neo: Where are you off to?
Luna: JNPR's dorm, they invited me to go sparring with them.
Neo: In their dorm?
Luna: No, we are just meeting there to go to the arena together.
Neo: Well, enjoy yourself I guess…
Luna left, leaving Neo and Bella alone in their room with an asleep Chris. Bella was on her laptop, playing games until she heard a notification from the school web-page.
Bella: Huh…
Neo: What is it?
Bella: There's a halloween disco in a few weeks.
Neo: Sounds lame.
Bella: It does, it's also mandatory to do.
Neo: How does it work?
Bella: You go there with a costume and just have fun. You can dance, chat, eat, drink, etc. I might need a date…
Neo: There might be some people in the cafeteria.
Bella: I'll go check.
Bella left, leaving Neo to her… Questionable thoughts.
?: If you're waiting for her to ask you out, you should just do it yourself.
Neo looked over to see Chris wide awake. She was originally shocked by this and instantly began to question him.
Neo: Aren't you supposed to be asleep, drunk, and/or on a hangover?
Chris: Well… I kinda have an extremely rare mini semblance that makes my metabolism so great, no matter how much alcohol I consume, I can't get drunk and/or get hangovers. As for sleeping, I was faking it as a prank.
Neo: Fuck you.
Chris: Thanks, but you really should ask her out.
Neo: What do you mean? I don't have feelings for her.
Chris: Right, so why do you sleep in her bed?
Neo: To… help her with past trauma, she feels comfort around me so I sleep with her to help her sleep better.
Chris: There's more, I know there is.
Neo: How are you gonna prove it?
Chris held up his scroll with and image of Neo doing something… questionable while in bed with Bella.
Neo: …
Chris: I won't show it to anyone, but it will stay on my scroll until you do something.
Neo: What!? Anything!
Chris: Ask her to the disco.
Neo: … fine… who will you ask?
Chris: I'm not sure yet, I'll figure it out. You just focus on what I told you.
Neo: Fine…
Cafeteria, Bella's POV
There was nobody in the cafeteria, much to Bella's relief. She wanted only one person, but had no clue how to ask them. Suddenly, she felt the presence of someone behind her. Bella turned around to see Coco Adel from team CFVY. Bella had met her the day before due to the fact she was helping a drunk Chris back to the dorm and Coco just happened to… be there.
Coco: Lost in your thoughts?
Bella: N-No! I was just on a walk.
Coco: Really? Because to me, it really looked like you were searching for something.
Bella: I wasn't doing anything like that!
Coco: *sigh* come with me.
Coco basically dragged Bella back to CFVY's dorm room where she kicked out the only member inside, Fox.
Coco: Spill it.
Bella: I don't know what you're talking about.
Coco: Bullshit, you like the ice cream, don't you?
Bella: Uhh, yeah?
Coco: So ask her out then!
Bella: Who?
Coco: NEO FOR FUCK'S SAKE!
Bella: Is it that obvious?
Coco: Yes, it is.
Bella: But… what if she doesn't like me back?
Coco: Trust me, I think it will work out between you two. I can help you achieve her.
Bella: Why are you helping me though?
Coco: I'm doing it as thanks for helping out Velvet with Cardin a two days ago, she's like a little sister to me.
Bella: Thank you.
Library, Neo's POV
Neo arrived at the library to look for any book about relationships, though her search was proving unsuccessful, and the days till the disco were becoming less and less. She needed some information, no matter how little, anything she could get would be useful. She went down an isle, turned a corner and was met with intense pain.
Neo: OW!
?: OW!
Neo and the person she bumped into both fell backwards. Once Neo looked up, she saw the very person she wanted.
Bella: Neo? I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.
Neo: No, no, I'm the sorry one, I wasn't paying attention.
Bella: Well, since you're here, I wanted to talk to you about something.
Neo: Actually, So did I…
Bella: Oh, you go first then.
Neo: No, no, you go first.
Bella: I insist.
Neo: I double insist!
Bella: I triple insist!
Neo: I-
Coco: OH COME ON ALREADY!
Neo looked behind Bella and saw Coco peaking through a bookshelf. Her glasses were easily recognisable, Neo decided to ignore her.
Neo: I'll go first, I wanted to ask you a question.
Bella: Ok?
Neo: I wanted to ask if you wanted to…
Bella: Go to the disco with me?
Neo: Yeah tha- wait how did you know?
Bella: That's what I wanted to ask you.
Neo: Ahh, I see.
Bella: So… sure.
Neo: Sure as in… You'll go with me?
Bella: Yeah.
Neo basically squealed in excitement. Her and Bella began to head back to their room, only to find Chris talking to Yang, Ruby's sister and their neighbour. The two waited to see what would happen and eventually, Chris left to go back to his dorm as did Yang. Bella and Neo shrugged at each other and returned to their dorm.
Fast forward to the day of the disco, Neo's POV:
Neo waited outside the building where the disco was being held. She was told by Bella to wait outside for her. Whilst waiting, she saw Ruby dressed like a wolf Faunus with the rest of her team behind her. Yang was dressed as a witch, Weiss Schnee dressed as an angel, and Blake Belladonna dressed as a… Ninja of sorts? Whatever it was, it looked good. Neo watched as they went in and continued waiting. Neo herself dressed up as a vampire since she loved reading about them. She was quite unsure of what the rest of her team would dress up as since none of them had actually told her about their costumes. Her question was answered quite quickly as the Chris and Luna appeared. Chris looked like a demon lord of sorts and Luna just looked like a herself.
Neo: Hey guys! You look great!
Chris: Why thank you, you look good too.
Neo: Thanks! also, what the hell are you supposed to be Luna?
Luna: A huntress, simple and easy.
Chris: Lazy is another word for it.
Luna: Shut up, you became drunk three times in only a week.
Chris: That was one time and I've stopped now! I was depressed, what else do you expect someone to do when their depressed?
Luna: Get over it and not drown yourself in alcohol!
The two continued to argue as they walked inside. Neo suddenly heard someone calling her name, it was Bella. She looked so cute in her… VAMPIRE COSTUME!?
Neo: You copied me!
Bella: Uhh, no, YOU copied me!
Neo: I literally told you that I would be going as a vampire!
Bella: We told each other it would be a surprise actually.
Neo: Ahhh right… you still look cute.
Bella face turned as red as Ruby's cape and immediately returned the statement.
Bella: So do you.
Neo: What do you say we head on inside?
Bella: S-Sure.
Bella and Neo both entered the building. They were greeted by loud music and student chatter. There were also blinding disco lights that could probably trigger epilepsy. At the far end of the building was a food and drink stand where some students were getting stuff. Neo and Bella decided to go ahead towards that area to grab a drink. Of course the only options were water and punch so they both grabbed a cup of punch.
Bella: Is that who I think it is?
Neo looked to where Bella was looking and saw Chris and Luna dancing together.
Neo: Huh, well what do you know? Guess he did have a date after all.
Bella: They could also just be dancing together since they both don't have dates.
Neo: True, better to not jump to conclusions. Speaking of dancing, wanna go dance?
Bella: Sure!
Neo held out her hand and Bella took it with a smile. They walked into the crowd just as a techno song came on. Neither of the two actually knew how to dance properly other than a slow dance, so they just took what they saw others doing and edited it to their own standards. After a few minutes, a slow song came on as people in the crowd turned to their respective partners and began to dance. Neo walked to Bella, placing her right hand on her lower back. Bella placed her left hand on Neo's shoulder, then she grabbed Neo's other hand and the two wrapped fingers around their hands, holding them up in the air at roughly the same level of their heads. Neo led by stepping forward on her left foot while rocking on her right as Bella followed. Then Neo stepped backward with her left foot and rocked on the right with Bella again following, they repeated these movements countless times with the occasional twirl from Bella. Soon, the song ended and was replaced by a more upbeat song. At this point, Bella and Neo were tired and went to grab some more punch.
?, Bella's POV:
Bella opened her eyes slowly. She immediately placed her hand on her head due to a massive headache. She slowly turned her head to eye her surroundings and noticed she was back in her room. It looked dark outside, but not night time dark, but more like very early in the morning dark. She was about to get up but was unable to due to something being on top of her. She turned her head again, her eyes still partially closed. Once she could see what was on top of her, her eyes immediately shot open. Right on top of her, was an asleep Neo partially clothed on top of her own body, also partially clothed body.
Bella's thought: What the hell happened last night?
Night before, Cardin's POV:
Cardin walked over to the punch bowl, taking one last cup before his signature evil smile appeared on his face. He reached into his coat's pocket and pulled out a bottle of the strongest alcohol he could get his hands on in vale. He almost got caught with it but it was worth it for what was going to happen. He opened it and made sure nobody was looking before pouring the whole bottle into the punch bowl, using the ladle to mix it up a bit. He placed the bottle under the table, hidden away by the table cloth and walked away. He wouldn't have to worry about fingerprints since he was wearing gloves and was basically undetectable. A crime well pulled off in his book.
Present time and location, Bella's POV
Bella tried to slide out of Neo's grasp but ended up with Neo holding her tighter. Bella heard the door unlock and instantly panicked. Once the door opened, faint sobbing could be heard as a very distressed person came in and closed the door behind them. After careful inspection, Bella realised that the person was Luna. Luna sat down on her bed, wiping the tears off her face and froze as she saw Bella and Neo.
Luna: Uhhh, what the fuck are you two doing?
Bella: I… haven't got a clue, I just woke up like this with a massive headache.
Luna: Oh, wait, what did you drink?
Bella: Just punch, only like a few cups.
Luna: Someone must have spiked the punch.
Bella: A-are you alright?
Luna: I'm fine, just… something happened.
Bella: Oh, alright, by the way, where's Chris?
Luna: He… stayed behind.
Bella: Where?
Luna: Don't know.
Neo began to shuffle, much to Bella's surprise. Neo usually can sleep peacefully while people talk at normal volume around her. Neo soon also slowly began to open her eyes and held her hand on her head.
Neo: Ow, my head…
Bella: Morning.
Neo: Morni-WHAT THE FUCK!?
Bella: I'm as surprised as you are, don't worry.
Neo immediately grabbed a nearby blanker and wrapped herself with it to cover herself. Bella just grabbed her pillow.
Luna: Morning Neo.
Neo: Luna? Where are we?
Bella: Our dorm.
Neo: Why can't I remember last night and why do I have a massive bloody headache?
Luna: The punch was spiked, we don't know who did it.
Neo: Oh, we didn't…?
Bella: I don't think so.
Neo: OK good, No offence or anything, I just don't think we're ready yet.
Bella: Agreed.
Luna: So… now what?
Neo: What time is it?
Luna: Like 2 in the morning.
Neo: Is Chris coming back?
Luna shook her head as Neo grinned, idea brewing in her head.
Neo: Girl's night?
Bella: Hell yeah!
Luna: Sure.
Neo: Only rule, dress code.
Luna had a confused look on her face, until Neo pointed to herself. Luna's face was as red as Ruby's cape as she hid under her blanket in embarrassment.
Neo: C'mon Luna, you must respect the rules!
Bella: It'll be fun!
Luna: FINE! Just, don't look.
Once Luna had finished, the three began to discuss what to do for the night
I'm so sorry for not uploading sooner! I had a problem with my device's keyboard where it just wouldn't work, eventually I just got a new keyboard. with the time I had left to make a new chapter, I decided to make this chapter one whole chapter instead of the original 2 chapters for the Halloween disco.
Also, sorry if this chapter may appear a little bit rushed, I just wanted to get to the main point without making it to complicated.
