10. Raging War

Chapter 10: Raging War

I did not feel like waking up, all I wanted to do was sleep but unfortunately that isn't an option today. Groaning as I sat up I glanced at the time 8:06 am. Sighing I got up and changed out of my pajamas and slipped on clothing that I can fight in which was black leggings and a dark blue tank top. Throwing my hair into a high ponytail, I grabbed a banana and walked out the apartment. I headed straight for the park cause that I where I know everyone to be at. Quickly scarfing down the banana I threw the peel into a nearby trash can before hopping onto my hoverboard so get to the park faster. I don't smell Gajeel here anymore so he must have left for his guild after his attack last night. To make sure my plan goes through I'm going to stay behind and tend to Levy and the boys so I'm not spotted at the Phantom Lord guild nor be around Lucy when she is taken by Juvia and the weird Earth Mage that I can't remember the name of for the life of me.

Finally the park came into view as I saw an enormous group of town folk and fairy Tail members surrounding the giant tree that held poor Levy and her team. I couldn't help but feel guilty for not being able to do anything to help them. I flew up to the tree just as Master and Team Natsu came up. I didn't need to look at them to feel the pissed off energy literally rolling off of them. I stopped by Natsu and placed a hand on his shoulder as we both looked up at the trio, him in pure rage and me with tears. As much as I wanted to physically say something out loud I couldn't for fear I would breakdown, so I resorted to talking telepathically. 'I wanted to so badly to change this but it was a major event that had to happen.' He suddenly look at me with a sad expression before I felt his hand on top of mine. 'I really hate that this has to happen but... I trust you. I know that if you could change things you would.' The tears just kept falling as he gave me a comforting squeeze. I guess he's finally understanding my situation by having this knowledge. Suddenly Erza spoke up. "Master." "I can take our headquarters being reduced to rubble, but I will not let harm come to my children without taking revenge." The staff in has hand shattered while Lucy flinched in fear. I wiped the tears from my eyes and looked at Natsu. "Help me get them down, Lucy and I will take them to the infirmary. Lucy turned to me when I mentioned her and nodded. Natsu nodded as we worked to get the restraints off them. First we got Jet while Gray and Elfman gently put him down on a backboard that I created for the three. Then we moved on to Droy before we finally got to Levy. Once the three downed members were down Lucy was immediately by Levy's side.

I used my Force Magic to make the three backboards levitate then turned to Natsu and Master. "Lucy and I will take them to the Infirmary." I gave them a look of determination. "Do what yall need to do, i'll meet up with yall in a bit." Natsu nodded before we headed towards the infirmary. At first I wasn't planning on joining in on the battle at the Phantom Lord Guild but i'm to pissed right now to just do nothing. I'm constantly telling myself that it will be alright, that we win, and that Gajeel will turn good and join us. As soon as we get these three the help they need I will leave Lucy with them and I will catch up with the rest of the guild. I will be smart about it though because I know Gajeel will be there so I will end up changing into a different outfit that will cover my nose and mouth and i will need to somehow mask my scent cause I know he will recognise it in a split second. As we approach the building I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Lucy. "Hey Kyra?" I can still hear the sadness in her voice. "They will be Okey, right?" I nodded. "Don't worry Lucy, they will be. So stay strong for them."

We got them into the building and in the care of the nurses as they checked out our guildmates. I stayed with Lucy in the waiting room for about 30 minuets until a doctor came and took the two of us to the room that Jet, Droy, and Levy are staying in. As we walked by them I wanted so badly to be able to heal them. There is a good possibility that me water magic may also allow me to heal. Lucy sat in a chair next to Levy and I can see the tears in her eyes and as I glanced back at the three laying in the beds I can see my vision get a bit blurry.

Blinking the tears away I gave Lucy's shoulder a comforting squeeze. "Hey, imma head out. I guess you'll stay here for a bit longer?" She nodded as I turned and started for the door. The moment the door closed behind me I heard soft sobbing from the room. I took a deep breath before I left the Infirmary. The moment I stepped outside I put my hair in a braid then through it up in a messy bun before summoning my hoverboard and flying towards the rest of the guild that I know is already headed for Phantom Lord. It didn't take long for me to reach the others, but that was because I was using boost and boy were they booking it. They were more than half way to Oak Town when I caught up to them. I guess you never know how far you can go until you are fueled by nothing other than white hot burning rage. I'm also not surprised that the guild is being led by Master and Team Natsu.

I fly down so I am between Natsu who is being flown by Happy, and Gray who is Ice surfing. "Kyra, how are the others?" Erza asked from above me. "Nothing critical, they are resting now. I left Lucy with them. All three will make a full recovery." I heard so many sighs of relieve it was unreal. "That's good to hear, now we can focus on teaching these Phantom punks what happens when you mess with Fairy Tail." Gray commented. "Aye!" Happy shouted. "Phantom will regret ever crossing Fairy Tail." I shivered at Natsu's statement but then glared as the Phantom Lord guild came into sight, ETA roughly a couple minuets. I took this time to create a black combat mask along with a black beanie with a hole for my bun. Also created a scent mask so dragon slayers couldn't smell me. The moment my scent was masked Natsu glanced at me. "So their dragon slayer can't get my scent, though it is temporary." He nodded before we made it to their guild. I put away my hoverboard since Gajeel was already seen it.

I took a few steps towards the door before grinning and turning to Natsu. "It time for the grand entrance Natsu." He grinned and cracked his knuckles. "Don't mind if I do Ky." He got up next to me, engulfing his hands in flames, before running at the door. The moment his fists made contact with the wooden door, it completely shattered and the two members on the other side got thrown back into the wall behind the bar. I grinned as every person in that building looked dumbstruck before glaring when they realized that Fairy Tail was invading. "FAIRY TAIL HAS COME CALLING!" Master declares from behind Natsu and I, Thus the battle begins as our guild rushes Phantom, Natsu along with them. I glanced up to see Gajeel standing on the rafters knowing that it won't be long before he jumps down and joins the fight. "Hey this ones not paying attention, easy target." I hear someone say off to the side of me and heard them take off towards me. Such idiots. Sticking out my arm as lightning flew out and hits the three that thought they could ambush me. "Not an easy target." I muttered before I felt the air shift from above me. I guess he finally coming down to fight Natsu. I thought to myself as I glances up only to nearly scream and jumped to to side to avoid getting struck by Gajeel as he tried to get a hit on me. There was muttering all around from both sides. "It's Gajeel."

"It's the Iron Dragon Slayer, Black Steel Gajeel." Erza said softly as Gray and Natsu suddenly jumped in front of me. "Not an easy target you say, gee hee." Gajeel grinned. I'm hoping that scent mask is still working cause I really don't need him realizing that it's me and I really really hope that he don't recognize my voice. I didn't get a chance to say anything before Nab suddenly jumps over us to attack Gajeel. "You attacked Levy!" The poor guy yells out before being struck by Gajeel and gets dragged along the ground as well as a few Phantom members. "Oh my-" "What the Hell! He just took out his own guildmates with that attack!" Gray exclaims in shock. I glared at this version of Gajeel. I hated this Gajeel, I just want the Gajeel that I know that he is gonna be. Gajeel starts chuckling. "Come on, show me what ya got, unless you Fairy scum are too scared to face the great Iron Dragon Slayer." Did I also mention that I hate how cocky he is?

Elfman suddenly jumps over everyone. "Too scared!? Real men don't get scared!" He yells out as he attempts to hit Gajeel with his beast arm but is blocked. "You're Elfman right?" Gajeel grins. A few more throws are exchanged before Elfman catches Gajeels Iron rodded leg. "Hmm not bad big guy." Gajeel commented. "Well that's cuz i'm a real man." Elfman stated. "Oh yeah? Well let's see how a real man handles THIS!" Suddenly Gajeel shoots out a bunch of smaller rods and struck many of his own people. "They're Phantom! You attacked your own men!?" Elfman exclaims in shock. "Cause I knew it'll distract you!" Elfman is struck in the face and sent flying but not before Natsu used him as a spring board to which I was mentally laughing at. Gajeel had no time to react before Natsu landed a hit on him. the Iron mage was thrown into the bar as the members of Phantom were whispering in shock that someone actually got Gajeel. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Fairy Tails Dragon Slayer." Natsu announces as Gajeel got back on his feet and grins. "Elfman, leave this guy to me." "First to use me as a spring board, now you want to steal my man-to-man fight?" Elfman said not to pleased. "IRON DRAGON CLUB." Gajeel hits Natsu knocking him back a few feet but still holding on to the iron rod. "Natsu!" Erza yells out. "First you destroy our guild hall, then you attack Levy and her team." Gajeels eyes widened in surprise. Natsu's suddenly engulfs himself in flames. "I WILL MAKE YOU PAY!" He throws the Iron dragon slayer in the air. Gajeel pushes off the sky beams and tries to strike the fire mage only for Natsu to deflect the attack and strike Gajeel, sending him back flying yet again. "Woo the kids fired up now." Wakaba cheers. "I'd hate to be the other guy." Macoa commented. "He's quite a wizard." Erza says proudly. "Alright I guess you're manlier than I thought. You can have this fight, but you gotta promise me that-" "You got it, I'll beat him to a pulp." Natsu interrupts Elfman, grinning from ear to ear.

Gajeel breaks free from the rubble. "Nice try but i'm still standing." "True. But you won't be for much longer though." 'You got this Natsu.' I encouraged telepathically before getting back into the fight since Gajeel is occupied. I continued to just use my lightning so I can tell Laxus that i've "practiced" more of my lightning. Suddenly the whole building started shaking between the fight between Natsu and Gajeel and the Master raging. Phantom was wondering what was going on. "This is what happens when the master Makarov get angry." "They call it the monsters wrath." "No body can stop him now." People from our guild were commenting. "Prepare to fight, we cannot lose as long as Master Makarov is on our side!" Erza stated and I had to bite my tongue as I knew that gramps would soon be falling from above. I continued striking with my lightning as the enemy tried saying that i'm an easy target again. "Still not an easy target. I can hear and sense where everyone's at." Sighing before stepping to the side when an iron rod tried hitting me from above. I glanced up to see Gajeel grinning and Natsu with a look of relieve. "Really? " I put a hand on my hip. "Just checking to see if it true." He shrugs as he dodges Natsu's fist. Rolling my eyes I go back to fighting until i heard the ceiling break above and that's when I jumped and grabbed the ill stricken master.

"What the-." "Something fell from the rafters." "Kyra caught it!" Our guildmates were all muttering in confusion until they realized who it was that I caught. "It's gramps!" Natsu exclaimed in horror. "Is he alright!?" Gray asked. "Master!" Erza yelled. They both ran to us as I laid the master on my lap. This isn't good, not at all. I mean I know that this is all going according to the original timeline but still, the feeling of despair is starting to wash over our guild like a Tsunami. Soon Natsu and Cana joined us. "My power. My magic power is-" Makarov was struggling to speak. "Shh gramps, you need to save your strength till we get you help." I said softly. "Master please calm down." Erza urged. "What happened to him?" Cana asked as Gray shook his head. "I don't know but i'm not sensing any magic power from him at all." Elfman who was by Gray looked on in horror. "Gray, are you saying that he's just an ordinary old man now?" "No, that can't be." Happy exclaimed with tears in his eyes. "Come on Gramps, you can pull through this." Natsu begged. "I don't understand, Gramps is so powerful. How'd they beat him." Gray wondered. "It was Aria, one of the Element 4. He snuck up behind Gramps to cast a spell." I growled. I never liked Aria, he creeped me out. And Sol, that was his name, I don't like him either.

"The Masters been defeated!" "For Real." "He's Out?" "That's Right!" "You guys, we can beat them." "Their not half as strong without their master." "And we got Gajeel and the Element 4 on our side." This isn't good. At this point in time the guild isn't as strong as we need to be. Despair has taken ahold of every Fairy Tail Members hearts. And this can get very deadly very fast if we don't get the hell out of here, and fast. And I know that Erza is thinking the same thing. "THIS IS OUR CHANCE! LETS GET THEM!" Phantom went to attack and Natsu threw fire at them in anger. "Don't start getting cocky now!" Gray and Loki were surrounded by Phantom members. "Oh man, what now?" "We are just gonna have to fight harder." Gray exclaimed but it wasn't to be cause you can very much tell that we were losing. I turned so that my back was to Gajeel so he didn't see me create a pillow to lay Masters head on. He was having a hard time breathing and I thought about creating an oxygen mask to help but I will when we get out of Gajeels eyesight.

Erza and I glanced at each other and I can see the tears in her eyes as she is trying to figure out what to do. "Erza, we need to get everyone out of here and get Gramps to Porlyusica. She is the only one that can help him." She nodded and wiped the tears from her eyes before standing up. "We must retreat! Everyone back to the guild hall at once!" Erza commended causing our people to look at her in disbelieve. "No way, we can't just give up." Gray said. "A real man never retreats." Elfman stated as he held the enemy. "I still got some fight left in me." Macoa grunted. "Yeah, me too." Cana agreed. "We can't. We don't stand a chance against Jose. Now retreat, that's an order." Erza ordered and it seemed to get through our guilds heads that we gotta go as they started for the main doors. I gathered the master in my arms. "Hey Elfman." The man turned to me as I approached him. "Here, take the master and and make sure that he gets the treatment he needs." He nodded as he grabbed gramps and headed for the doors. I turned as my ears picked up Gajeel and Aria talking up in the rafters saying how they kidnapped Lucy, which Natsu overheard as well as he yelled Gajeels name in anger. Gajeel grins down at the fire dragon slayer. "We'll finish this someday, Salamander." and with that Aria teleported them away.

I walked up to Natsu. "Those jerks, kidnapped Lucy." "HUH?" Happy yelled. "Then we get her back." They glanced at me before nodding. We turned towards the Phantom Lord members that were starting to chase our people. Since Gajeel is no longer around I ditched the mask and beanie. Natsu grabbed one of the members while I used Lightning Wave to knock out the rest of the unsuspecting members. Lightning Wave is one of bigger magics I was able to accomplish recently which true to it's name it causes a large wave of lightning to spread out and strike those I am aiming for. "No! The Salamander and that cat." The guy then looked at me in absolute terror after taking out his guildmates. "Y-you're- a monster." Natsu growled at the man before punching him in the face. "Don't you dare call her that." He growled 2 inches from the guys face as I chuckled. "Nah. They were just easy targets." I grinned as we headed towards where Lucy is.

We were walking through some rocky terrain with me next to Natsu who is dragging the terrified enemy while Happy flew on the other side of Natsu. "What do we do now?" Happy asks curiously. "Ain't it obvious? We're going to go save Lucy." Natsu answers as the dumbass starts trying to struggle. "And you're gonna tell me where she is. Now start talking." The fire mage demands. "How should I know? I don't know a Lucy." Well that was a mistake for as soon as the last word left his lips the man was engulfed in Natsu's fire. The man starts screaming in agony. "I already told you dude, I'm serious, I don't know! Now put out the Fireee!" Now Natsu didn't like that answer one bit. "If any more of you Phantom guys hurt anymore of my friends, I swear I will burn each any every one of you into ashes." He growled as his flames intensifies causing the guy to scream even more. I glared at the man. "Ya better start talking otherwise he will be the least of your worries." I threatened as lightning danced angerly around my body. "I'm telling you man, I don't know this Lucy chick! If I did I would have told you by now." He yelled. "Funny you say that, because I was just thinking I should have burned you to a crisp by now." Natsu bit back while Happy agreed. "Our headquarters are up ahead. If I had to guess I'd say that they got her locked up there somewhere!" The burning man yelled out in desperation. "Now was that so hard?" I bit out. "Why didn't you say that in the first place?!" Natsu exclaimed angerly as the man cried. I rolled my eyes before stopping Natsu. He looked at me confused as I grabbed the burning man from his hands. The man had a look of terror before I struck him in the face with my lightning covered fist, successfully knocking his ass out.

Happy looked at me wide eyed while Natsu looked at me in approval. "We gotta hurry!" I said as I started running towards the hideout. Natsu and Happy were quick to follow. I can now see the tower in the distance and my eyes widened when I spotted the blond at the very top opening. 'Lucy. Natsu, Happy, and I are here. I need you to trust us and jump.' I instructed Lucy then looked to Natsu. "Natsu, go now! She gonna jump!" I instructed before he used his fire to propel himself further ahead and I got my hoverboard to follow close behind just incase I needed to get her. My heart pounded as we can now see Lucy free falling. "NATSU!" We heard Lucy yell out. "LUCY!" Natsu yelled out as he flew towards her and I released the air that I was holding in when Natsu caught the falling girl and flew right into a rock wall.

"Wow, it's raining Lucy's." Happy joked as we approached the two. I helped get Lucy up off of Natsu who was currently being smothered by the girls breasts. Once she was up I handed Natsu a pocket knife that I just created to cut the rope off her wrists. "There you go. Are you ok Lucy?" Natsu asked in concern. She gave a slow nod in sadness. "I think so." "That's good news. Well we better head back to the guild." Happy said causing Natsu I look at the exceed in disbelieve. "What?! That's their headquarters! Let's get them!" Natsu exclaimed and thus started an all out argument battle between the two. I place my hand on Lucy's shoulders as I can see that she is getting more and more upset. "I'm sorry." Lucy apologized in a broken voice, finally getting the attention of the other two. "I am SO sorry." Lucy started crying as I hugged her from behind trying to comfort her. "All of this. Everything. It's my fault." She said between sobs. "No it isn't Lucy." I told her quietly. "But I don't want to leave. I want to stay with you guys. because I love being in Fairy Tail." She looks back at all of us with tears streaming down her face. "And you won't be leaving, not now not ever." I said gently.

"Hey, what's wrong? You're crying." Natsu asks concerned as she continued crying. "You're one of us. You don't have to leave." He continued a little confused. I glanced at Natsu. "Come on, let's get back to the guild." I said softly as he Nodded. "Yeah, I guess we outta." He scratched the back of his head before stepping closer the us. "Time to get up. Let's go Lucy." Natsu and I helped stand her up. "How about I carry you on my back? Is that cool with you?" And he was answered with more crying. "Aw look at what you did, you made the poor girl cry again." Happy jabbed at Natsu. "I was just trying to help!" The fire dragon slayer exclaimed. "Don't worry it wasn't you." I reassured him as we got Lucy onto his back. "Come on, let's go home." I said as we started back to Magnolia.

After walking half way back I started to notice that Natsu was getting a bit tired from the weight on his back. Which I don't blame him since all the adrenaline is no longer coursing through his body, or at least for the time being. Lucy has been dozing in and out after she cried for the last 2 hours. Happy was currently laying across the top of my head as he got tired of flying. And me? Well I am exhausted and it is only noon and the main battle hasn't even started yet. But I know one thing for sure and that's for us to get a little break. And I know just how to pull that off while still heading towards the guild.

I stopped walking and grabbed my pendent. Natsu stopped when he noticed that I wasn't beside him anymore. "Hey, is everything alright Ky?" Natsu asked quietly for Lucy was currently asleep. I gave a tiny nod being mindful of the cat perched on me. "Yeah, I just have an easier way to finish this trip back so that we can get some rest while continuing forward. And don't worry I have something that will help you not get motion sickness." I then proceeded to summon my truck out. Natsu's eyes widened at the strange vehicle in front of us and I heard Happy whisper 'whoa' from above. "Come on, let's lay Lucy in the back seat." I opened the back door and helped Natsu get her inside. She ended up stirring a little from being moved. Her eyes were barely opened as she glanced up at me. "Shhh. It's alright Lucy, we're gonna use my vehicle that I had from my world to get us back home. Just get some more sleep." I told her quietly as I created a pillow and blanket for her. She barely nodded before laying back down. I then closed the door and motioned for Natsu to get in the passenger side. He looked at me unsure before looking at my truck like it was the devil but got in nonetheless. I got in the drivers seat and handed Happy to Natsu before creating special wrist bands specifically for motion sickness. I put them on Natsu's wrists while explaining what they were. "Thank you Ky. I sure hope these work." I nodded. "They should, they worked for me whenever I end up getting motion sickness. If you want you can lean the seat back some and get some rest. You and Happy both. Ya'll both gonna need it." And with that I took off driving.

Natsu found the lever to lean the seat back and did so but just a little. Though I soon felt his eyes on me and I can feel my cheeks starting to heat up. I noticed through the side of my eye that Happy was passed out. Than I noticed Natsu wave his hand out. When I looked over at him he pointed to his head. I gave him a confused look before it finally dawned to me what he was saying. 'What's up? Is the bands working for you?' I asked as I turned mt attention back to the road. 'Yeah they work perfectly. Thank You. But shouldn't you rest as well.' I couldn't help but smile at his concern. 'This is resting for me, just being able to sit down. I just can't go to sleep but i'll be fine, I promise.' Yeah, fine until my plan goes into action then i'm royaly fucked. I flinched when I felt a hand on my shoulder all of a sudden. 'Then tell me why you're shaking and look scared.' My eyes widened as I didn't realize that my body was giving me away. I heard Natsu sigh softly as he gave my shoulder a squeeze. 'You told us that we need to get some rest, almost as if the day ain't finished with us yet.' I sighed. Of course Natsu would be able to read me like an open book. 'You would be right, day is not over yet. Phantom will be back later but the good news is that today is the last day of fighting them.' Suddenly he reaches over and grabs my hand causing me jolt in shock. 'What are you planning?' My head snapped to look at him as he gave me a knowing look and kept a firm hold of my hand making me blush hard. I quickly turned back to the road so I don't end up hitting a tree or something. I rack my brain to figure out what to tell him without giving away to much detail into the next battle nor give away my crazy plan, because I know damn well that if I tell Natsu then he won't let me out of his sight. 'I can only tell you two things. One, when the time comes you will need to go in the building and fight. You will know exactly what I'm talking about when it happens. And two...' I glanced at the sleeping girl in the back before glancing at Natsu. 'I'm gonna protect Lucy. That is all I can say about later on today.' My mind went to my crazy ass plan and I unconsciously squeezed Natsu's hand to which he returned in comfort. 'Alright, I guess there's nothing more you can tell me and I understand, but...' He pulls my arm closer to him as he readjusts his hold on my hand. Usually I would stop him from making this kind of move since he found out about me deciding to give up on finding someone to love, but right now I am actually grateful for this contact for it is really comforting. 'Please, don't do anything that will get you killed. I don't want anyone I care about to get hurt.' I gave him a small smile. 'Don't worry I won't die on ya'll.' We continued holding hands and talking for the rest of the ride. He never did fall asleep but he did lay back and I'm very happy that the bands helped him be comfortable.

When we entered Magnolia I noticed the strange looks people were throwing at the truck and I mentally laughed to which Natsu heard since I still had the telepathic link still up between up. 'What you laughing at?' 'I'm laughing at the looks the people are giving. They've never seen this kind of vehicle before. This is the exact replica of my truck from my world.' I noticed Natsu grinning beside me. ' It's nice and really comfortable. I like it.' 'Well thank you Natsu. I'm glad you like it.' it didn't take much longer before we got to our patched up guild.

We saw Erza, Gray, and Mira talking right outside the doors. Well that is until they noticed the truck and turned in confusion before seeing me and Natsu in the front seat. We unhooked our hands before any of them could see as we stopped right next to them. I rolled my window down as Erza approached me. I put my finger to my lips and pointed to Lucy in the back. She nodded. "We were wondering where you three were at. How did Lucy end up with you?" I glanced at the girl then back to the others outside. "She was kidnapped by Phantom while we were in Oak Town. She will explain in just a bit when we get her situated. She's not doing well." The three were shocked and visibly bothered by this information. "Mmm are we home yet?" We looked over at a groggy Happy who is just waking up from his nap. "Yeah we just got back Happy." I smiled before we got out and went to the back seat.

I softly put my hand on her arm. "Hey Lucy, it's time to wake up. We're home." I spoke soft and gentle as she moaned. She slowly sat up with my help as she rubbed her eyes. then looked up to see us around her. "Come on, let's get you inside." I said as I helped her out. once we were out of the truck I summoned it back into the pendent. I noticed the others looking at me and I grinned. "That is a replica of my truck from my world. I was able to recreate it with my magic to help get around." They commented how that was really cool and that they liked it.

I kept my arm around Lucy as we went in and I can literally feel the depression and guilt rolling off of her. Though the thing that really surprised me was that the moment we got down into the basement with the other guild members, Lucy immediately apologized to the entire guild and told them who she really was and that she is the one Phantom Lord is after. I wasn't surprised that the guild understood and told the girl that this was in no way, shape, or form her fault to which I agreed. She just silently went to sat on a barrel against the wall while Happy followed her and Natsu ended up following me to where we kept the drinks.

"Hey I need to talk to you about something." Natsu said quietly as we grabbed a few water bottles. I gave him a look. Why do I get the feeling it's about a certain discussion we've had and the fact we spent the last couple hours holding hands? "Is it about the upcoming battle?" He shook his head. Figures. "I'm afraid it'll have to wait till afterwards Natsu. Come lets get this to Lucy. She's gonna need it after being emotionally drained." I quickly made my way back to our team avoiding whatever talk Natsu wanted to have. I can feel his eyes burning the back of my head but ignored it as I handed Gray and Elfman a bottle. Erza had left for the showers a few minuets ago. They thanked me before I stood by Lucy and Happy. I handed one to Lucy. "Here, you need to drink some water. It'll help." She nodded before slowly sipping on it. Natsu came up and handed Happy a bottle before taking a sip of his while still giving me a knowing look then pointed to his head. I shook my head and mouthed 'not now'. I turned my attention back to the rest of the wizards that are running around trying to come up with a plan since they know that Phantom Lord will be coming after them soon.

My mind went back to the episode as i'm trying to go through all the scenes and all that happens. Suddenly my eyes flew open when I remembered something and made a break for the other side of the room, ignoring Natsu and Gray yelling out to me. Oh fuck fuck fuck shit fuck shit. Please tell me she hadn't contacted him yet. I beelined it towards Mira and nearly had a heart attack when I heard Mira speak into the lacrama. "Oh thank goodness you answered Laxus. We need your h- Whoaf!" I all but body-slammed the white haired girl from his view and he looks at me wide eyed. "Heh Heh nothing to worry about here bubba. Mira was trying to do a prank on me. I gotta go. Byeeeee." I nervously laughed before shutting off the call. I released a nervous breath as I slid down to sit on the floor as Mira and Cana looked at me wide eyed and in complete shock and I can see Natsu watching me from the distance. "Before you get mad at me..." I had to catch my breath. "In the original timeline he didn't help against Phantom, but with me being here and him being a bit protective of me then I know he would have been here. But he can't be here. It will mess so much of the future up it will be unreal." I looked up at them with pleading eyes. "Please, he cannot know right now."

Both girls thankfully nodded in understanding and I ended up pulling my knees up to my chest and laid my head down trying to calm my racing heart. It's almost time. I can hear Mira saying that she needs to help in the fight while Cana voices her concerns as well as my team talking with each other trying to make Lucy feel better. Any second now. I took a long deep breath before slowly releasing it.

BOOM

I jumped at how loud the steps were and my eyes widened in terror. "Hey, what's going on?!" Grey exclaims from across the room before Alzak comes running from the back telling everyone to come outside. As everyone starts running towards the ocean I am frozen on the ground. My heart is pounding painfully in my chest as my body is shaking uncontrollably. Why is my body acting like this? Why am I so scared for?

BOOM

Everything was shaking, just like... back home.

BOOM

I screwed my eyes shut and covered my ears as all I see were the bombs and bloodshed. Tears escaped down my face as I started hyperventilating. What if I can't save them? What if I fail and that's the end of Fairy Tail? What if me being here is gonna be the downfall of this world? What if... what if I die again?

I nearly screamed when I was suddenly pulled up from the ground before I was engulfed in warmth and the smell of a bonfire. "N-Natsu?" My body was still shaking uncontrollably to the point I could barely stand on my own. He pulled away so he was in my line of sight and I can feel his hand on my cheek. I can see his lips moving but I couldn't hear what he was saying over the loud pounding in my ears and the Phantom Lord guild getting closer. With each step the guild hall takes the more death and devastation flashes in my eyes. By now I realize that both of Natsu's hands were on my cheeks and I can tell that he was trying to raise his voice, but I still couldn't hear him. The pained and terrified screams were filling my head to the point my lips felt hot.

Wait... Why do my lips suddenly feel hot?

Suddenly I am jolted back into reality when realized that Natsu is literally in my face and the hot feeling on my lips were in fact his lips. I can feel my face get hot as I am 100% sure that I am as red as a tomato. Holy shit, Natsu Dragneel is kissing me. I couldn't help but close my eyes and kiss him back. I know that it is wrong to do this considering that him and Lucy are suppose to end up together and I realize that he did this to snap me back to reality but just want to enjoy this even if it is for only a small amount of time. The loud boom outside was a good indicator that they are now up to our doorstep and the real battle is about to begin. I separated my lips from Natsu's and took a few steps back. I chuckled at how red his face was as well. He was about to say something before I interrupted him. "We better get outside. Phantom's here." I turned and headed outside with him hot on my heels. "Oh and thank you, for snapping me back to reality." I thanked him as we walked past the backdoors. He was gonna say something before he got a look at the giant walking building in the water.

"What is that thing?!" Natsu exclaims in horror as I glared at it. "That Natsu, is the Phantom Lord guild hall with robotic legs and can fucking transform." It was this moment that we saw one of the walls start coming down and a very large cannon extended out aiming at us before it started charging up. This is it. I took a deep breath as Erza ordered everyone to run even though no one does. I released that breath with a look of determination. I can do this because I am a Fairy Tail wizard. The moment Erza sprung forward I did too as people yelled what we think we doing and that we are crazy. "Protecting the guild hall!" Was our reply as Erza re-quipped into her armor and I stood right behind her ready to put up a protection shield to ensure she don't over do it. "Are they going to try to block the cannon shot?" Bisca asked while Alsak commented that her armor isn't strong enough. "Ya'll are just risking ya's lives, this is ridiculous!" Wakaba yells out and I can hear Natsu screaming out to us. I gritted my teeth as I ignored them and focused at the situation at hand. "Don't worry Erza I got your back." I told the red head just as the cannon fired. "WE CAN DO THIS!" I yelled as she activated her armors shield and I merged my protective shield with hers. The moment the blast hit the shield I damn near fell to the ground. It was so strong that the ground shook and both Erza and I were grunting from the force. Shit even with me helping I started to notice cracks appear on the shield but good news is that the shield lasted a little longer before they appeared. "Just...A little... Longer." I ground out as I can feel my own shield weakening. The shield started breaking apart and this time put both hands on Erza's shoulders as I pushed all my magic through us. Come on, we are so close.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity the blast ran itself dry. With a sigh of relieve the two of us collapsed to the ground trying to catch our breath. She re-quipped back into regular clothes. "KY! ERZA! ARE YA ALRIGHT!?" Natsu suddenly appears in front of us and I notice that he's looking more at me than Erza. I gave him a small grin. "Yeah we will be, just out of breath. Erza just needs to regain her strength." "So do you. You look like you're about to pass out." I yelped as Natsu suddenly picks me up and Grey comes and picks Erza up and made their way closer to the building. Only for them to freeze in their tracks when Jose's voice came over the loud speakers.

"Makarov has fallen, and Erza and that other girl can no longer stand." I can see Natsu gritting his teeth and glaring up at Phantom. I rolled my eyes I can still stand, it just the the fucking over protective fire dragon slayer named Named Natsu that wants to carry me. "Any chance of victory has slipped through your fingers. Surrender Lucy Heartfillia immediately. You have no choice." And que the uproar of Fairy Tail mages. "That's not going to happen!" "Like any guild would just hand over one of their own to a monster like you!" "You hear that!? Lucy's staying put!" Alsak, Bisca, And Macoa yelled before the others started agreeing while I notices Lucy about to break down. I broke out of Natsu's hold and ran to Lucy because I knew exactly what she's thinking right now. She gasps out in surprise as I threw my arms around her. "Stop thinking that. You and I both know it won't end well if you do." I told her before turning back around right as Erza stands with the help of Grey. "WE WILL NEVER BETRAY HER LIKE THAT! YOU'LD HAVE TO KILL US FIRST!" Lucy looks up in shock. "YOU CAN STOP ASKING NOW CAUSE WE'RE NOT GONNA GIVE YOU ANY OTHER ANSWER! WE'RE GOING TO TAKE EVERY ONE OF YOU JERKS DOWN!" Natsu yells out as Lucy covers her mouth as she starts sobbing, laying my hand on her shoulder to give her some comfort.

"That's It! You Lot Just Ordered A Second Helping Of Jupiter! You Got 15 Minuets!" Jose yelled out in anger causing everyone to freeze in horror. "What do we do?" Cana asks. "Oh no, this isn't good. Kyra and Erza are weakened and they are the only reasons we survived the first shot." Grey commented in worry and I would have to agree with him. While we are still conscious we are not at full strength and I alone don't have enough magic to stop another shot. And Erza is looking pretty weak from using all that strength, but the good news is that she will recover faster now that I helped her. "Oh God what is that!?" I heard someone scream and look up to see Jose's shadow army flying out by the hundreds making everyone start to panic. "You're in quite the quandary aren't you Fairy Tail? There's only two ways this situation can play out. Either my troops will tear you apart or you would be blown away by Jupiter."

"Are you kidding me?! If he fires at us he'll kill his own men!" "Surly he's bluffing, who'd do something like that?!" Macoa and Wakaba exclaimed. "No, He's gonna do it. Those Phantom solders are made by Jose's Shade Magic. Their not human so it won't matter if they are destroyed." Cana explains while Bisca and Alsak get freaked out by the ghosts. I turned to look at Natsu who was by Cana and saw he was already looking at me. I gave him a small smile and nodded towards Phantom. He points to his head and I roll my eyes but opened up a link anyway. 'Remember what I told you Natsu?' 'Yeah, that I will be going up there and tearing stuff up.' 'Correct, now go. There not much time left.' 'Ok.' I can hear him telling Cana they he's gonna go up and destroy the cannon. I was about to close the link when I suddenly heard him speak to me again. 'Ky, promise me that you won't do something reckless.' I glanced back in time to see him and Happy fly off towards the castle while Grey and Elfman started running close behind. I sighed. 'I will try Natsu. please be careful.' And with that I disconnected the link between us. Everyone started powering up for battle as Mira walked up to me and Lucy. "Lucy, come with me." She says as she grabs said girls hand. Well this is where I come in. "I'm coming too Mira." She glanced at me over her shoulder as I gave her a nod. We walked around the building to where Reddus was. "We have a hide out Lucy. I want you to stay there until this is all over." Mira said and it doesn't surprise me that Lucy would object to the idea as she said no while pulling her hand from Mira's. "It's my fault that we are in this mess. I'm not going to abandon everyone while they fight for me." Lucy argues. "It's not your fault. I don't see it that way and neither does anyone else. We are not just fighting for you, we are fighting for us. It's for the honor of our guild. We are proud to fight this battle, each and everyone of us." Mira explains to her and I know what she is about to do as I wrapped my arms across Lucy's shoulders as she looks down in sadness. 'Do it Mira.' I told her telepathically as she brings her hand up to Lucy's head. "Please just do as I say." Mira releases a type of sleep magic that knocks the blonde girl out and I caught her before she could hit the ground. Mira turns to the man. "Reddus, take them to the hideout." "Oui." He paints a boar and a wagon and it appears before us. "I'm counting on you to take care of them." Mira instructs to him as she helps me get Lucy in the wagon as Reddus gets up on the drivers seat. I gave Mira a look. "You be careful Mira, I know what you are about to do." She gives me a look or surprise before it changed to a look of determination. "I will do my best. Now go." And with that we were off. I created a pillow for Lucy before I made my way to the front to talk to Reddus about my plan. "Hey Reddus, I need to talk to you about my plan to keep Lucy safe. Since the hideout gets sniffed out in the original timeline." I speak up while also copying Lucy's scent so Gajeel don't end up picking up mine. "What do you mean?" He asks me. "I mean that Gajeel is gonna follow Lucy's scent to the hideout that's why I came with ya because I know how I can make sure she don't get taken a second time but you're not gonna like it." He gives me a confused look over his shoulder. "I have shapeshift magic and I am confident in my ability to not only shift into Lucy but I have also copied her scent since that is what Gajeel is following. Also I know what she is feeling so I know how to like Lucy in this moment. when we get to the hideout I will extend Lucy's slumber and put a timed invisibility shield around her so that no one sees her and will come down after the threat has left." I can see Reddus's eyes widen. "Don't tell me you plan on getting captured in her place Kyra." I gave his a sad yet determined look. "That is exactly my plan. This is the only thing I can do to help protect Lucy that wouldn't be too risky to the timeline. She's already in a lot of pain and I will not stand for more pain to befall her if there is something I can do about it. Don't worry i'm not gonna die or anything." He turns back to the road. " I don't like this plan of yours." "I know you don't but it's better than the alternative." I told him as we pulled up to an abandoned building and it was at that moment that I heard an explosion in the direction of the guild hall, looking out I couldn't help but smile as Natsu destroyed the cannon. Good job Natsu, i'm proud of you.

Reddus helps get Lucy out and into the building. I can feel more of my strength returning to me, good. We head inside and I set up a small twin mattress with the pillow that I already had. Reddus laid her down and I created a blanket then got out a pen and paper. By the time she wakes up Reddus will be knocked out and she will be confused. I went to one of the creates and started writing my note to Lucy while Reddus starts drawing a picture of Lucy.

Dear Lucy,

By the time you read this Reddus might still be knocked out from when Gageel and two other Phantom Lord members broke in to get you, however I already knew that was gonna happen. also if you see a giant mirror sphere then that is Loki stuck inside from when he came and tried to help us.

Also before I say anything else. I know you are feeling guilty and no amount of words at this moment will change your mind. but I do hope you will hear me out since I'm from a place that I have seen the future and know what will happen. So I hope you might believe me when I tell you that this is 100% NOT your fault Lucy. And that is how everyone in Fairy Tail feels right now. There are only two people to blame for this and that's Jude Heartfilla and Jose. Jude's fault for being a greedy money hungry idiot rather than a father to his only child and going to a fucking DARK GUILD thinking that he will get whatever he wants. And Jose's fault for being a sick dark twisted psychopath that has no problem leading children our age and younger down a dark and deadly path and making it seem right to try and hurt and even kill those Jose looks down upon.

Now as for my whereabouts. Well... you're not gonna like this but my plan from the beginning was to be taken in your place. And before you freak out, I am not gonna die, just a little ruffed up. This is my way of helping without risking the timeline and my way of making sure you stay safe. I used Shapeshift to shift into you and copied your scent so they would take me, while I had you hidden behind an invisible shield.

But I'm going to need you to do something for me, after you read this make sure Reddus and Loki are alright and go find Natsu in the castle and tell him that Gajeel has me and I need him.

P.S. Use my hoverboard to get there faster. Just think of where and how fast you wanna go and it do just that, I make my creations simple.

KYRA

I walked over to Lucy and put the note in her hand then put my hoverboard next to her. before putting up the invisible shield "Wrote a note so she knows what is happening and a way to get to Natsu so he can help me." I told Reddus as my body glowed orange as I shifted into an exact replica of Lucy, and thank god that Lucy doesn't end up fighting because I haven't tried to replicate magic... that is if I even can. Come to think of it she doesn't have her gate keys, only Sagittarius. I wondered who had her gate keys though as I sat down on a create. I can't remember who ended up giving them back to her. And I don't know when we will be attacked since I made sure Lucy would be out a while longer, though if I remember correctly Reddus woke her up cause she was having a strange dream and it wasn't much longer that Gageel and them came busting through the doors.

I'm snapped out of my thought when I feel poking on my shoulder. I turn to see Reddus handing me a piece of paper. Confused I took it and gasp as it was a hand drawn picture of me before I shifted but I had a grin and a look of determination. I sometime forget that this is what I look like now even though I'm so use to seeing my old self. I smiled. "Oh Reddus you are so sweet, this is amazing. Thank you so much." I make my crystal pendent appear to I can put the picture inside it's subspace before making the pendent disappear as well as making my watch invisible everyone but me. "You are very welcome miss Kyra." He says as he starts a picture of Lucy. I lean back against the wall and closed my eyes to rest up as the main part of my plan is about to go into action. I'm about to face Gajeel again, but this time around it ain't gonna be a nice hangout session like last time. This is going to be the side of Gajeel that I never wanted to see face to face, but it's too late now. All I can do I pray that Lucy and Natsu can get to me in time. Prey that I am strong enough to endure this and hope to all things holy that Gajeel won't hate me for this. Digging through my memories all I want to do is remember the good side of Gajeel after he joins Fairy Tail. Then our time helping Old man Rinju came flooding in. The way we met at the restaurant and him taking out the thug before he could attack me. The conversations we had the entire time we were together. His smile and laughter was genouen and the fact that he felt that he could be himself had made me felt so happy. The way he was so concerned for my safety because I wouldn't stop for nothing and I still decided to leave that night. And then the way my heart fluttered when he carried me in his arms back to the farmhouse. Gajeel Redfox may be strong and stubborn but under all that iron he is an absolute sweetheart.

BAM

I jumped when there was an awful loud knock on the door. Well times up. It's show time. I looked at Reddus and nodded. 'It's time Reddus. Now remember, i'm Lucy and I'll be just fine.' 'Oui. You better be.' With that we stood up and got into position. Him ready with his paint and me behind him with an half way actual fearful look. Two more loud bangs before there was a hole in the wall and debris flew towards us, and while Reddus blocked most of the bigger rocks and wood from hitting me a few smaller ones manager to his my arms and legs. "Oh no, Reddus are you ok?" "Oui." he grunted as he got ready to attack. "It's over tubby, might as well give up. So just hand over the brat." The mirror girl ordered with the other guy while Gajeel hangs upside down like a god damn bat. "The boss doesn't like to wait." Song guy comments as Gajeel chuckles darkly.

"Lucy, run while you still can." Reddus says to me. "And leave you? No I'll stay here and fight." I told him playing my part. "Pleeease for the sake of the guild, do it." He pleads. "But-." "Stop it, i'll cry." Gajeel mocks us as the other two grin. "Oh how touching." "I like where this is going."

"Picto Magic!" Reddus paints three Vulcans as they attacked only for the girl to use her mirror magic to reflect it right back at Reddus. As much as I wanted to stay and help him, I have no choice to keep playing the part and take off running for the door even though I know that I won't make it because in 3...2...1 "AAHHhh." I get kicked in the stomach and get flown back into one of the creates. Ohhh yep that defiantly gonna be a bruise there. "You gonna leave fatty here take the fall? That not nice." Gajeel gives me a shit eating grin... and not the good kind. "I've never seen such a sorry excuse of a guild. They let anyone just join Fairy Tail?" I glared up at him as I stood on shaky legs, still slightly weak from earlier. "You take that back.""You gonna make me." I can hear Reddus getting his ass handed to him by the other two but I just couldn't take my eyes of Gajeel. "What a cream puff. You actually like hanging out with guys that little princess?" I glared at him harder. Now to play my own part. "As a matter of fact I do. This guild took me in when I had nobody else and we are there for each other and we don't judge one another." I got into position to try and dodge any attack he about to throw at me. "So remember this for the future because you are about to get a very painful wake up call."

He growled before lunching towards me at a speed that I didn't realize he even had. I tried to jump out of the way but it was only futile as he grabbed my neck. My hands instantly tried to pry his off as I tried gasping for air and I almost lost my hold on my magic. "I don't know what kind of nonsense you are yapping about and I surly don't care." He bared his teeth as he brought me just inches from his face. My eyes widened in terror as true fear bubbled up and I wanted nothing more than to teleport as far away as I possibly can. "You will be coming with me and there will be no escaping this time little girl." Suddenly I felt another sharp pain in my stomach before my world went black.

And unbeknownst to anyone the invisible watch had accidently made an "pocket dial" to a certain lightning mage right before the attack on the hideout.

"Oh so you return bearing a gift now have you?" I starting hearing voices as I started to come to, breath hitching in pain as I was suddenly dropped to the ground. "Yeah I picked you up a little something while I was out." I heard Gajeels voice. So i'm in the castle now. That means I'm closer to Natsu, I just hope the others are alright at the hideout and that Lucy has woken up. I tried to access my telepathy but my head is pounding too much to be able to open any links. Please Lucy, be awake and get to Natsu.

"She is still alive, right? Otherwise she is worthless to us." Jose asked and I braced myself. "I was pretty rough with her. LET'S SEE!" I let out a low grunt as I was kicked in the stomach again (seriously can you go for something other than tha fucking stomach) and flown into the wall. "Yep, she still alive and kicking." Nah bitch you is the one fucking kicking! "Excellently done Gajeel, I knew I could count on you." Jose praises the Iron Mage as he comes over and grabs me by the leg then fucking throws me onto the platform that he was just standing on before activating the intercom. Oh shit I forgot about this little part. "Attention you pathetic Fairy Tail worms. Listen carefully because i'll only say this once." Suddenly he lifts me up painfully by my hair that is actually sensitive. I couldn't hold back my screams as I tried to pry his fingers off. "We have captured your precious Lucy Heart. Which means our first order of business is now out of the way. And that leaves us with just one more thing, my favorite part. Wiping all you brats right off the face of the Earth." Jose declared before handing me over to Gajeel or should I say my hair. My head is pounding even harder as i'm struggling to easy the pain. "Keep an eye on the girl. There is still some pests scampering around my guild hall." "You talking about Salamander?" "Yes him, and his friends. They have been lucky so far but their luck is about to come to an end. I will go exterminate them my self." And with that I was alone with Gajeel and a small group of Phantom Lord mages, but mainly Gajeel.

Oh great let the "fun" begin. I let out a scream as he lifts me up before hitting me in the stomach yet again with his iron club as I flew to the wall, coughing as the air got knocked out of me. "Gotta sing better than that." I gritted through the pain. "Too bad. Your hearts just not in it." "Come on Gajeel, hadn't she had enough already? Plus the boss doesn't want her to get too hurt or anything." I'm actually slightly grateful for them trying to get Gajeel to back off but even they are afraid of them. "But what else am I suppose to do? I can't believe he's doing this. He leaves me to watch over blonde here," Time to brace myself again. "But he gets to have all the fun. I'm just playing with my new toy." Gajeel starts walking towards me as he turns his arm back into a club and I can hear the others trying to talk him out of it some more and one of them gets knocked out and saying that he will put the blame on someone else.

"Aw, I kinda feel sorry for her. Her fellow guild members didn't even want her back till they realized her old man is loaded." Gajeel taunted as I grinned and slowly stood up making Gajeel's eyes widen. He's close, I can barely hear him beneath us. "You're wrong and you won't realize that until later in the future. As for thinking you have won? I'm sorry to tell you that Makarov is now up and around with all his magic restored and Natsu is closer than you think he is. So you are too late and have already lost the battle the moment you attacked our friends." Gajeel looks to be seething in anger while the others comment how stupid I am for talking to him like that. "Shouldn't have said that." Gajeel grins darkly before striking me in... Ding ding ding, you guessed correctly... the god damn motherfucking stomach! and this time I could have sworn I heard a crack as it became painful to breath. Lord please don't tell me he just broke one of my ribs. "It takes some nerve to be running ya mouth in situations like this princess. Gotta hand it to ya, ya got guts." Not if you keep using my stomach as a damn punching bag I won't you dumbass. "Make some noise! And not this trash talking you been doing. I want screams, and if I don't get what I want you'll be sorry" I smiled through the pain. "Actually you will be sorry. But I do want to apologize for what is about to happen and my reveal. Because I'm not who you think I am. You will all come to find out just how scary Fairy Tail can become once you mess with even one of it's members. The result is rather devastating." He looked confused for just a second. "You not making any since there blonde, so how about I put you back in your place?" He lunches himself towards me as I smiled and close me eyes, and at that exact moment the ground breaks away under Gajeel and Natsu throws a punch into him knocking him back a few feet. Fire is raging all around Natsu as he screams in anger.

"Oh Natsu, thank god. Did she find you?" I gave him a small smile as he kept his eyes trained on the Iron Dragon Slayer. "Yeah, Lucy told me what your plan was. I thought I told you not to do anything reckless Ky?" I was watching Gajeel when his face went from confused before slowly changing to realization then to horror. Well, no point to be acting like Lucy anymore. I finally shifted back into myself and gave Gajeel a sad smile. "I'm sorry, but this was the only way I could protect our Lucy." He stared at me a bit longer before focusing on Natsu, face hardened. Damn it I wish I could access my telepathy so I could explain myself and properly apologize.

Gajeel laughing snapped me out of my thoughts. "I guess it ain't to hard to catch a Salamander if you use the right bait." I saw Natsu clench his fists. "Unlike you Phantom creeps, I watch out for my friends. I won't let you lay a hand on her." I can feel my face heating up slightly. "Natsu." I can see his determination in his eyes. "Stay back Ky. This could get ugly." I nodded even though there ain't really anywhere I could go with the small group by the main door and I'm not sure if I could jump down the hole Natsu made in the ground. Someone called out to Gajeel and that was the moment that both dragon slayers lunched at each other. Gajeel tried getting Natsu with his club only for Natsu to grab him and throw him into the wall before striking him several times.

"Oh my god Kyra!" I turned in time for Lucy to throw her arms around me. I groaned from the pain I was in but hugged her back. "Hey Luc, I told you I would be fine." "But you're not fine." I looked down to see Happy lay a paw on my leg with tears in his eyes. Giving him a slight smile I laid my hand on top of his head in comfort. "Your neck..." Lucy pointed out and it really doesn't surprise me that there would be marks. "And my stomach, but they will both heal." Our attention went back to the fight that is in front of us and I guess Lucy had a look of concern because happy asked what's wrong. "No, it's just... I've never seen Natsu like this." "Aye, he's more fired up than ever before. I wouldn't want to be that other guy." Lucy and I nodded in agreement, however...

"But there's something different though. He's more angry that he was originally." I pointed out and it was true. His flames seem to be raging more and he seems to be nearly seething. "That's because he cares about you and the fact you got hurt like this had set him off." Lucy told me as her eyes stayed glued to the two in front of us. I blushed as I remembered his lips on mine right before the battle. I have no doubt in my mind that he will want to talk to me privately when all this is over, though that might be hard since I have a feeling that Laxus isn't gonna let me out of his sight for awhile. And I know damn well I'm gonna be hearing some lectures from at least Laxus and possibly Natsu and Gramps.

"For being Fairy scum you sure are cocky." Gajeel commented. "You're the scum here pal. As payback for what you did to Kyra, I'm gonna use my fire power to melt your ugly iron face." Natsu threatened and for just a brief moment I saw Gajeel flinch. So he still feels bad about what he did to me. "Sounds like Fun." Gajeel chuckled, however it wasn't the same from the original timeline, and I can see him catching glimpses at me from time to time. "So give it a shot!" He grinned as they charged each other. Exchanging blows for a bit before Gajeel brought out his Iron Sword. "That's a pretty gnarly toy you got there." Natsu commented unimpressed. "Heh this is the Iron Dragon Sword. Anything it touches is torn to shreds. I thought I'll give you an up close and personal demonstration." "Ooo I'm so scared." Natsu mocked while Lucy questioned how he is able to do that. "It's Iron Dragon Slaying magic." I answered her as Gajeel went to strike Natsu who dodge the attacks.

"I'll give you credit for being a nimble little fairy." Gajeel actually compliments. "You're not a slouch yourself." Natsu returns in kind. "But we still got a score to settle from earlier. Ain't no time like the present, wouldn't you agree?" Gajeel grins. "Let's go riffed face I'm all fired up now." Suddenly a magic circle appeared under Gajeel as his skin turned to dragon scales. Lucy and Happy panicked a bit not knowing what is about to happen. "You ready Fairy?!" The scaled iron mage springs forward and throws a punch that Natsu tries to block, only to get thrown back into the wall behind him. "NATSU!" I don't know why but me body seemed to react on it's own as I stood up and tried to make my way to Natsu who is holding his already bruised arm. "No Ky, stay back." I stopped as Natsu holds his hand up and I froze. "You hitting that wall was music to my ears." Gajeel laughs as his throws punch after punch into Natsu. He tries to send a powerful kick into Natsu who thankfully dodges in time as the kick sends a strong gust of wind in the room. I brought my arms up to block my face until the dust settles back down.

Natsu strikes Gajeel in the face and I couldn't help but flinch at the sound it made. Yup that's gotta hurt like hell. And I was right as the next thing I know Natsu is rolling on the floor clutching his hand all the while saying that he is fine and it didn't hurt at all. Sureeee very believable Natsu... Not. My eyes widened when Gajeel grabbed him by the face. "Cut the crap. You just don't want your friends see you cry like a baby." Gajeel throws him into the ground and throws another punch. Natsu jumps out of the way. "Alright you walking garbage can, time to blow you away. Fire Dragon..." "Iron Dragon..." Ohhhhh this not gonna be good. "Everyone Get Down!" I yelled out as I braced myself.

"ROAR"

I braced myself against the wall as everyone else gets flown back and a giant hole is blown through the wall behind Gajeel. When the attack is over with I look back to see that Natsu is looking so beat up while it looks like Gajeel doesn't have one scratch on him. "Looks like there are some pretty big differences between fire and iron dragon slayer magic, ain't there Salamander. You can shower me with fire attacks until you run out of hot air, but it's not gonna crack my armor. On the other hand, just one of my iron blade breath attacks is going to rip your puny body to shreds." "Come on Natsu, you got this." I encouraged. "I cant crack your armor huh? Sure you're not feeling a draft buddy?" Natsu grins as Gajeels face cracks causing the iron dragon slayers eyes to widen in shock. "Look, I don't just breath just regular ol fire. The Fire Dragons Roar can destroy anything it touches." Natsu throws off his vest and I couldn't help but blush as I got a good look at his muscles. Natsu engulfs himself in flames. "I think it's time we stop playing around and let's get down to the real fight. I'm gonna shatter you into a million pieces." Yeah, he's pissed. "Gehe Let's Go!" Gajeel yells out as he rips his shirt away as well. Annnd que another blush as I got to see all his muscles too. I shook my head as I mentally slapped myself. This isn't the time to be eye fucking them.

Those around me were making comments about how powerful the two were. "Blacksteel, I'm ready when you are." "Sky's not big enough for two dragons kid. So i'm just going to have to take you down Salamander." Just wait till they come to realize that there are actually 7 dragon slayers. My eyes widened when I noticed the giant shadow monster thing forming in the distance. Tears stung my eyes as I remembered what is about to happen to our guild hall. Flinching as the two slayer attacked before propelling themselves into the sky. I took this time to make my way to the hole overlooking our guild as It was getting struck by that monster. So glad I convinced Gramps to get all important papers and such out of there. I can see everyone trying their hardest to destroy the monster but we all know there's nothing that can be done now.

Gasping in shock as the two came crashing back into the room, I had to grab the wall to keep myself from falling to my death. I heard the mirror girl ask if Natsu was beating Gajeel. Sadly not yet. Oh shit this is the part we are gonna need fire. Looking back at Lucy I couldn't help but pray she still has that one gate key. "Lucy, Do you have Sagittarius's key?" I yelled out to her and I can see her frantically digging through her pockets. Nothing prepared my for the dread that washed over me when she looked up at me and shook her head in panic. Despite the pain I was feeling I started breathing heavy as panic started to settle in. No No NO this isn't happening. I'm such an idiot I knew I should have made sure she had that key on her otherwise I would have left her a weapon that could cause the explosion. And now... Natsu might actually die.

I started racking my brain on what we could do since i'm so low on magic i'm not able to create anything powerful enough to cause the machinery to explode. And I haven't been able to use any fire magic yet, all I can do I heat my hands up.

Gajeel starts eating iron witch causes me to panic even more and as I glance over at Lucy and Happy I can tell that they are frantically trying to figure out what to do. "Hey! That's not fair! You're Eating?!" "So What?" Gajeel finishes his "meal" before grinning. "Now I got a fire in my belly." "Hey, That's my line pal!" Not the time Natsu, not while your live is in danger. My eyes widened at just how much magic power I can feel rolling off Gajeel. This is NOT good, at all. "Say good night fairy. Iron Dragon Lance, Demon Wall!" Gajeel shoots out a bunch of iron daggers at Natsu and unfortunately he wasn't able to dodge them as he yells out in pain. "NATSU!" I yell as he is thrown back into the wall but still manages to stand back up. "Lucy, you guy's better get out of the way!" Natsu instructed as said girl grabs Happy and runs closer to the wall i'm at. Surrounding himself with more fire Natsu tries headbutting Gajeel's stomach only to get struck in the head by his club. I cover my mouth in shock as Natsu's face is drug through the ground, and I can just imagine how painful that must be.

"I think I've had my fun with you, so get lost scum bag." Gajeel said as he tosses a wounded Natsu next to me. In my previal vision I can see the absolute terror and fear on Lucy and Happy's faces. Grunting in pain I kneel down beside Natsu. Maybe we can run for it. "Natsu, please get up. We gotta get out of here. It's not going the way it needs to. We got no fire." I pleaded with him as I try to get him up, even though I know very well he ain't going to run away from this fight. "I'm n-not leaving." I heard him mutter as I tried blinking the tears from my eyes. The noise from the monster outside is even stronger now as I look up. Gajeel suddenly started laughing. "Checkout your guild hall. We're doing some redecorating." I saw Natsu sit up and gasp as our guild is completely leveled to the ground. I placed a trembling hand on his shoulder. "N-Natsu pl-please I can't lose you. W-we need to l-leave." I attempted to sway him again as I got in front of his face. "Natsu listen to me!." He seemed to snap out of his trip to memory lane.

My eyes widened when he placed a gentle hand on my cheek. "Don't worry Ky." He mumbled before shakily standing up and turned towards Gajeel. I shook my head as tears streamed down my face. "Please no." "Natsu, don't do this. Let's just give them what they want. May we let them take me, they will leave you alone." Lucy pleaded tearfully. "Lucy, you know that there's no way he would let that happen." Happy said as he clutched her leg. Natsu weakly pulls his arm back. "Your guild hall is in shambles. So, how does it feel to lose?" I flinch as Gajeel backhands Natsu. A sob slipped pack my lips as Natsu slumps to the ground. My body felt hot as I watched the scene unfold in front of me. "I would stay down if I was you Salamander, cause i'm starting to get bored with all this holding back garbage. And it's not gonna be good for you." No this can't be happening. He can't lose. We need fire. "Natsu took down Jupiter, and fought two of the Element 4. He used up way to much of his magic power. IF ONLY HE HAD SOME FIRE HE WOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO BEAT THIS GUY!" Happy yelled out in desperation. "Please no, don't. Don't do this!" I begged as my vision became blurry. I could barely make out Gajeel lifting Natsu up in the air. "So long kid. You've reached the end of the line." "NATSU!" I was full blown sobbing as I tried to stand up. "This is it Salamander. The End!"

My body felt as it it were on fire as memories of my home washed over me like a tsunami. Everywhere I turned there was nothing but destruction and blood-splatter. Men, women, and children. Innocent lives, lost and taken way to soon over something so stupid. My friends and family are no where to be seen and I wonder if they ever made it to safety... or did they end up just like everyone else? Just a lifeless body? Future ripped away from them. Holding onto the hope that they were still alive is what drove me to keep on living for as long as I have, even after I should have scumbled to my injuries. Never in a million years did I think I would find myself coming to this world and accepted with open arms. Fairy Tail has become my home. The members have become my ever growing family. They are my reason to keep living.

As Gajeel started to bring down his dragon sword, my body acted on it's own accord as I shot my hand out towards them. "NOOOO!" Then it happened all to fast. BOOOM. I gasped as I looked on in disbelieve. Fire, there's fire! But how? Where did it come fr-. "Kyra you did it!" I did what Lucy? confused I looked down before my eyes widened in astonishment. My hand, is covered in... fire. My HAND is covered in FIRE! My tears of fear turned to tears of joy. "I- I did it. Natsu! I did it, I made fire!." I screamed in joy as Natsu ate all the fire around him. He gave me a big grin over his shoulder. "I saw that, i'm proud of you Ky. It's just what I needed." I couldn't help but laugh joyfully. I did it. I saved him. I saved Natsu. I noticed Gajeel looking at me with a hard to read expression and I could be wrong but I swear he too had a proud look in his eyes before his face hardened again. "Eat all the fire you want but you're still not going to beat me." The Iron mage charged Natsu only to get punched in the face by a fire covered fist. "Alright Natsu's fired up now!" Happy and Lucy cheered as Gajeel slams into a large piece of debris.

"Levy, Jet, Droy, Kyra, Lucy, Gramps. All my friends. My guild. Fairy Tail." With each thing Natsu listed the more pissed off he looks. "Iron Dragon Roar!" Yeah sorry buddy but that breath attack ain't gonna do jack shit now. And I was right as Natsu deflected the attack with his bare hands, shocking everyone in the room except me. "I don't know how many more people you need to hurt before you're satisfied, but it ends now." Natsu growled out and I felt chills throughout my body. "There's no way. I can't lose to him. It's impossible, he's nothing but Fairy scum. " Oh you're about to Gajeel so you better start accepting it. "I'm gonna make you pay for what you did to my friends! Messing with Fairy Tail is the biggest mistake you ever made!" Yup, I tried to tell him that but his ego so big he not wanna listen. Though I am wondering if there is a way I could talk to him after Natsu defeats him. I can feel a little bit of magic coming back to me so perhaps I could hide myself until he is alone at the top. I brought my hoverboard out before looking at my team. "I have something I need to do. You got this Natsu!" He didn't turn to me. "Alright but you better be careful Ky. I still need to talk to you after all this is over." Called it! I grinned. "Alright." With that I sat on the hoverboard and flew out the hole and I'm glad I did because soon after the entire castle was shaking from Natsu's rage. Before I know it the transformers head was falling to the ocean floor and I see Happy holding Lucy in the air as to not get crushed by the flying debris. I take myself a safe distance away but close enough that I could still see what is happening.

When the dust finally cleared up I can see Natsu standing and Gajeel down for the count. We did it. Now it's up to gramps to finish Jose and get rid of the shadow army that is still swarming around. I made my way to Natsu as he collapsed. "Kyra." "Did you finish what you were gonna do?" I ignored the two in the air as I got off the board and kneeled beside Natsu. He cracked his eyes open when I put a hand on his shoulder before grinning up at me, "Hey Ky." I smiled softly at him. "Hey Natsu." "Wow, this is such a big mess." "Yeah that's Natsu for you." I laughed at the two's comments and Natsu's ear-to-ear smile. I'm so glad to be apart of Team Natsu. There are so many things that I get from being on both Team Natsu and the Thunder Legion. While The Thunder Legion is more like a sibling group that is mature but still fun, team Natsu is nothing short from insanity and craziness, which is something a really enjoy. I looked down when I felt Natsu's hand over mine. I smiled as I leaned back against a large part of the wall that had been knocked over. "Let's rest for a few minuets." I closed my eyes as I heard Lucy and Happy came over to us before sitting down. "Yeah, nothing wrong about getting our strength back." Lucy said as Happy agreed.

It wasn't long before I felt it, a powerful but warm magic. I smiled. He's here. We did our part, now it's you're turn master. The wind started to pick up as I opened my eyes and looked up just as lightning started striking and the ground shook. "Woah what the-" Lucy exclaimed as she started to lose her balance but was pulled into the air by Happy. Natsu and I held on to each other as I held onto the broken wall. Grunting as each jerk caused more and more pain in my stomach. Suddenly there was a large explosion as I tightened my grip on Natsu and the wall. The second explosion however was more powerful than the first and I lost my grip on the wall as the two of us were thrown back over the ledge. I screamed as I felt myself freefalling before I felt Natsu's arms wrap around me from underneath. I didn't have time to brace myself before we hit another level and the air was knocked out of me even though Natsu broke my fall. I painfully rolled off him gasping for air. "Oh no are ya'll ok?!" Lucy exclaimed as she and Happy flew by us. I gave them a thumbs up even though I doubt anyone actually believes me. "What the heck is going on in there?" Happy wonders out loud causing Natsu to chuckle. "I'm pretty sure that's Gramps in there settling the score." I would have made my own comment if I could get a proper breath without feeling like my lungs are being stabbed. "Ky, slow breaths." Natsu said as rubbed the middle of my back. I'm trying. It's kinda hard to do any form of breathing. With much pain, I forced myself to take a slow breath, then another. After about a minute it became a bit easier to breath. "There ya go." Natsu praises before we are suddenly blinded by a bright ass light. "Woah what's up with the giant light?" Happy asks. I grin as I looked at the three of them. "That, my friends, is Fairy Law. I powerful spell that vanquishes evil with sacred light. It only affects those that the caster sees as their enemy. It's so much more amazing seeing it in person though." I explained as I slowly stood up.

"It's officially over now. We did it. We Won!" No words could describe the feeling I felt as I heard the cheers from my team in front of me as well as all the other guild members. I walked to the edge to see Makarov appear further below. "We are victorious! But I had very little to do with it. This victory is yours my children!" Master announces as another round of cheers erupted. Even though my head is still pounding, I forced myself to open a link with Happy and Lucy. 'Hey ya'll two get back to the others and help with any wounded. Natsu needs to have a one on one chat with Gajeel about their Dragon fathers.' They gave me a look as if I grew two more heads and I gave them a look that told them to do as I say. 'Alright fine but ya'll better not be long.' I nodded as they flew away before switching the link to Natsu. 'I know you need to talk to him about ya'll's Dragons so I'm gonna give you two some space. I'll see you back with the others.' He looked at me in shock before contemplating. 'I guess you're right. Will you be alright on your own?' I nodded even though I feel like i'm about to pass out any minute now. I walked further into the ruins and rounded a giant pile of rubble. The moment I disconnected the link I collapsed to me knees as I held my head in my hands, regretting using my telepathy so soon.

I leaned against the rubble and rested my eyes as I can somewhat hear the conversation outside, I went ahead and put up an invisible shield so Natsu will think I went back the the rest of the guild. Hell, in all honesty I'm not really sure if I can make it all the way back down on my own. Everything is starting to catch up to me but I still needed to talk to Gajeel. I have to apologize for deceiving him today. Looking at my watch I wondered what the time was. Shit I forgot I even had the damn thing on. 5:48. Yeah that doesn't surprise me considering that the sun seems to be starting to set. It was at this moment that something caught my eye. I raised my brow when I saw what said 'ONGOING CALL' and that my volume was all the way down. But my blood ran cold and heart froze as I stared at the name underneath. LAXUS. Oh dear god NOOOOOOOO. Please tell me i'm just seeing things. Please for the love of god it's not really Laxus that was been listening for... HOURS!? SINCE I WENT TO THE HIDEOUT WITH REDDUS! Ohhh I'm a dead girl. Someone please tell me lightning takes a long time to travel from across the country?

I turned up the volume and I sweat dropped as I can defiantly hear the lightning. "U-um please tell me y-you heard nothing b-bubba." I nervously spoke and I nearly jumped out of my skin when his voice came over the line. "Kyra? Thank god you can hear me now. How hurt are you?" His voice was a mixture on concern and pissed. Yup, I is a dead girl... or at least my ears are. "Fine. buy." I hung up as fast as I could as I started to panic. I got up and went outside hoping that Natsu was gone. As I walked to the edge and looked around I spotted Gajeel sitting on a rock but no sign of Natsu. Good, this is my chance before the over protective big brother gets here. I got my hoverboard and took down the shield as I made my way down to his level.

The moment my feet touched the ground I saw him stiffen but he didn't turn towards me. I know he knows it's me. "Gajeel?" I called softly as I made my way to him. He still didn't move as I stopped and sat right next to him. We were looking out towards the ocean and the sunset. "Ever just sit and watch the sunset? How beautiful the sky is. Then you add a nice body of water to reflect that beauty is just mesmerizing." My lips turned up into a soft smile as I saw Gajeel turn and look at me and I looked at him. He just stared at me before he slowly started to shake his head. "If I had known that it was you, I never would have done what I did." He whispered as he looked away in guilt. Despite the pain I reached my hand to his face and made him turn back to me. "I never lied to you that day. When we first met. The reason why I couldn't reveal what guild I was from because I knew Phantom was gonna be coming after us. And I wanted to get to know you without being judged by my guild, just like I didn't think of you as Gajeel of Phantom Lord. I truly enjoyed our time together and I don't want that bond that we formed to break." I looked down in frustration.

"Gajeel I forgive you because I know things that I shouldn't know. I knew you were going to find Lucy in the hideout so I made a painful decision to go with them and hide Lucy before shifting into her to go in her place. I did it to protect her and I wanted to do something other than stand on the sideline." I looked back up at him with tears in my eyes. "I never ever wanted to hurt you like this Gajeel. You are my friend and I care about you." He looked stunned as I'm sure that i'm the first person to ever show him this type of kindness. My face heated up as he covered my hand with his and pressed closer into his cheek.

"I still don't know how you could ever forgive me for what I did to you. I don't deserve any kindness." He closed his eyes in shame. I shake my head. "And I disagree. You deserve kindness and friendship. As for how I forgive you so easily, well it's a very very long story. One that I don't have time to tell at this moment, but I promise that you will know everything soon." He looked down at me in confusion as I stood up and in front of him. With my hand still holding his face I bent down and kissed his cheek. I don't know why but it just felt right and I have no doubt the we both are blushing. Slowly pulling back I couldn't help smiling at his flustered look. I opened my mouth to say something when I heard it in the distance.

Thunder. My eyes widened while Gajeel just looked confused. Oh shit shit shitshitshit. If Laxus sees the state i'm in he is going to go after Gajeel and he will be a dead man for sure. "How is there thunder yet no clouds?" Gajeel questioned mostly to himself. Panic settled in as I looked at him. "That would be Laxus and he will kill you in the most painful way you could imagine and then some. Shit he wasn't suppose to be here but my damn watch accidentally called him when I was at the hideout. Meaning the one who sees me as his little sister just heard EVERYTHING before I came over to talk to you!" I was shaking as I started pacing. What am I going to do? I am in no shape to run or anything. Suddenly a light bulb appeared. "I got it!" I turned back to a confused and nervous Gajeel. "I will put up a timed invisible shield around you until we leave. That way he won't be able to see nor hear you." There wasn't much time as I told him to stay where he was and don't move as I put up the shield. "I will find you when I am able to get the chance and tell you everything. I promise." I have no idea if he said anything back but I know he heard me. The sound is getting louder now and I know he is close

Grabbing my hoverboard I started using it as a crutch as the pain is really starting to bother me. Two steps. That's how far I was able to get before I stepped on some loose rubble and tripped. However before I could hit the ground a pair of familiar arms caught me. Slowly looking up I come face to face with a concerned Lightning dragon slayer. "Don't worry I got you." He says as he picks me up. I can see that he is doing everything he can to suppress his rage. "I'm sorry bubba but you couldn't be here. It would have broken the timeline." I apologized as I hugged him. He hugged me back, mindful of the injuries that I have. Now before he could try and go on a blood hunt for Gajeel... "Can you take me back to everyone else. Lucy needs support after everything that's happened." He nodded as I put my hoverboard away and he started walking to the edge. "And before you say anything, no body in Fairy Tail is to blame. It was Lucy's estranged father and Jose." He said nothing as we took off to down towards the destroyed guild hall. I looked back up as I put a 30 second timer on the shield around Gajeel.

We landed on the side of where the guild is as Laxus carried me the rest of the way around. We were met with Levy's team and Reddus trying to consult Lucy, who unsurprisingly didn't want to listen. After I made bubba put me down I created an actual crutch to help support me before I made my way closer to the distraught girl. "Luc, I know you feel bad, but it's not your fault. A true loving father is suppose to love and support his children, not cause them pain and suffering just for his personal greed for money or power." Yeah I might have directed that at Laxus as well since Ivan isn't exactly the Father Of The Year either and caused him so much pain. I noticed Natsu watching me from off to the side with a smile on his face, also reminding me that we still need to have that talk about that kiss. "Kyra's right my dear. Know that we may not be able to share our feelings of happiness and sadness entirely, we do share them to some extent. That's what happens in a guild. One persons happiness becomes everyone's happiness. One persons anger becomes everyone's anger. And one persons tears becomes everyone's tears. There's no reason for you to feel guilty, so don't cry. You should know how much everyone here cares about you." I smiled as Lucy starts crying. "Hold your head up high my dear, because you are a proud member of the Fairy Tail family." I made my way to Lucy as she fell to her knees as she cried with her head held up. Levy and I wrapped Lucy in a hug. "We will always be there for you Lucy, no matter what." I said softly as Levy agreed. Looking up past Lucy I grinned when I saw the rest of the Thunder Legion watching from a distance.

After 5 minuets Lucy's crying came down to just soft hiccups. I pulled away and tried standing back up which is proving difficult, well that is till I felt myself being lifted up by the arm. Glancing over I smiled when I saw Bickslow helping me. I couldn't help but fling my arms around him. "Woah ho ho you miss me or something Kya?" I nodded as I looked up at him and he took off his visor. "I always miss my Brothers and sister when they are out on a job." "Awe I miss you too when you're not with us. Though I wished you were with us for this job so you didn't have to go through this." He frowned and I can tell he was mad about everything that has happened and I don't blame him. "I know but I was glad I stayed because not everything went the way it needed to go and Natsu was almost killed because of it." I took noticed that both teams and the main wizards were listening to me. I looked down as a tear escaped. "I almost failed to keep everyone alive. Natsu almost died because I assumed that we had the tool needed to get him the fire he needed to win. But I was wrong. It wasn't there like it was in the first timeline."

Because of my carelessness I almost doomed the entire world. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I recognized it to be Natsu's. "But you didn't fail. You were able to produce your own fire. You saved me Ky." I looked over to see him smiling softly. I released Bickslow before giving Natsu a hug, feeling relieved as he wrapped his arms around me. His warmth easing the pain and melting the stress I was just feeling. I burred my face in the crook of his neck and closed my eyes. "Thank you Natsu, for believing in me." I muttered into his neck as he nodded. We stayed that way for a bit until Master spoke. "I am proud of what you have accomplish my dear. Though I must urge you to visit the medical clinic to get checked out. You seem to have been injured worse than anyone else." I pulled away from Natsu with a nod. "Yeah you're right. I'm not feeling that great." In fact I'm just feeling plain horrible to the point of- "OH SHIT KY!" Natsu caught me as my legs gave out from under me. The pounding came back with vengeance as I can barely make out everyone's panic.

I wanted so badly to say Natsu's name but I couldn't open my mouth. Hell I could hardly keep my eyes open. Every so often I will get little flashes here and there. Both my teams hot on our heals. Laxus's scared look. Bright lights as we entered the hospital. Being put on a stretcher. The fear on Natsu's face as i'm rolled away.

Then nothing but darkness.
