PART 1
RX Universe-789 (New World)
"...Ne, Sonogami Rinne...Do you think you can catch the chains of my love?"
At the exact moment...
Multiple chains would begin to fall down from the heavens through the use of the iron maiden that was hovering gracefully by a few distances. But the chains themselves were something that was unnatural, for they carried a type of miasma, one that felt anathema to life. Like it was poisonous, sharp as the fangs of a snake. That's what it felt like.
For Rinne Sonogami, she knew that she had to act quickly. Even when her ability was about 5% or 10%, it was still enough for her to stop the chains that would descend upon her co-wife and the two women nearby. The naked eye cannot fathom the exact speed at which Rinne raised her arm. One moment, her arm was lowered. The next moment, she raised her arm.
The chains stopped, and the iron maiden would break apart into pieces. It was a few distances away from either Sona or the other two women.
But Summoner was smirking as if she was waiting for this moment. She clenched her left hand, raising it. The chains and crumbs of the metal falling down were dissipating and sparks of darker puddles of energy were about to spray at everyone. But Sona anticipated it, raising her Kaleidoscope that glowed a bit, and the liquids automatically dissipate into a solid form of ice. And then she would hurl it against Summoner.
Of course, Summoner would simply raise her right hand. The solid ice formations would form themselves into some kind of shield. But the ice itself would somehow turn into hard iron metal, one that had multiple spikes on the walls. And Illya and Miyu fired energy blasts from above their location, multiple materializing ones, raining down on the iron metal shields. The shield broke, revealing...
"...What?" Rinne muttered, sporting a look of caution.
...No one. Empty. But Sona, knowing by instinct, was one step ahead. She fired flames toward the back. Rinne knew the trajectory of where it was fired. She looks back and sees Summoner, raising her right hand to block the trajectories. Kuroka transports herself just behind Summoner.
Summoner would casually and automatically burn Kuroka just with a mental command, as if it were just clicking a key on one's keyboard to fire a certain spell.
"KKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
"...!"
Rinne sported a slightly surprised and horrified expression. Of course, she knew that Kuroka that was being burned to literal ash was an illusion due to sensing just where she actually was, but it still didn't make her feel any more uneasy if only because...
"...Hehehe."
...Summoner was just casually smiling. Her red eyes were glowing in excitement and her feet seem like they swaying. This all felt like a casual dance to her. The danger with regards to her well-being did not matter for someone like her. The danger in fact provided a challenge. As Rinne Sonogami was, along with Sona Sitri, two of the most dangerous women on their own, adding in the other women as well who were providing their own assistance, this was merely what Summoner preferred.
At least for now...
The asphalt floor from both distances seems to split in two. They were about to smash Summoner and crush her. But then...
"...Very nice, Fey Fey..." Summoner muttered.
"KYAH!"
...Le Fay was suddenly forcibly pushed away, flying a few meters before crashing towards a car nearby. Sona anticipated this by summoning a large pillow to help with the girl's landing and accommodating her back.
Meanwhile, the asphalt roads that were heading towards Summoner would just stop with a single tap from Summoner's right foot.
"But they say that Fey Fey means rather unpredictable, which describes moi," Summoner boasted like a haughty but confident noblewoman.
Then, multiple blue orb energies were now seen to encircle Summoner. As multiple gunshots fired, they would head straight for Summoner who simply raised her left hand as she makes the energy bullets dance flutteringly. Then she disappears as the bullets fly in all directions, before Illya suddenly appears, her back facing Rinne and Sona, with Kaleidoscope in hand.
"Hai hai hai, that's enough shoot 'em up for you," Illya's Kaleidoscope—Magical Ruby spoke with a boast of casual confidence.
Summoner would appear next towards a rooftop nearby, a few thirty meters away, and then...
"Ey!" Summoner ducks her head as she sees a kick almost flying against her. It was Miyu, performing a kicking position before disappearing. Then Miyu reappeared again as she raised her Kaleidoscope—Magical Sapphire towards Summoner, only for the latter to make use of her staff, blocking it. And then multiple sparks that were like fireworks began to sparkle in random flurry directions.
"Oh dear, now this is quite the light show you have here. Trying to draw unwanted attention?" Sapphire stated jokingly, but also sported a look of concern.
"Ohhh~ Don't worry. Quite frankly, I can do so much better than this~," Summoner spoke while parrying multiple blocks and also graceful dodges against Miyu's attacks, followed by Illya's attacks when the latter showed up. Their physical movements were sync, elegant even. Sparks fly as the two Kaleidoscope users battled against Summoner who was not even growing tired. Hopping from one rooftop to another, Kuroka suddenly appears gracefully behind Summoner, a few meters away. firing multiple rounds of deadly energy of bluish color.
Summoner would simply reflect the energies back at Kuroka, who disappeared and reappeared to the right.
"Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!"
"Ara, ara, quite the naughty and voracious cat you are, momma must spank," Summoner spoke with a red glint in her eye.
Kuroka's entire body was thrown towards the ground, with a feeling of getting shocked. But this was not enough to keep her down, being a master of attuning one's energies, she draws herself out of the pain and makes use of the electricity that flowed from her body and made graceful movements, landing on the ground, twisting, and then making use of a hand formation that sparks with bluish-white electricity and fired straight at Summoner.
"Oh my, hehehehe, that tickled. Hm?" Summoner would causally raise her left hand, seeing a giant string yarn of energy that would try to crush her down. She raises her left palm to blow a kind of kiss which creates a horde of dark blue butterflies that would eat up the yarn with causal ease and with quick paced progression.
...And then, sharp knives and swords were suddenly thrown in her direction, which the butterfly horde anticipated as it ate the knives.
And with a few steps, Summoner was just dancing in excitement. "Ehehehehe."
Then, she blocks Illya's sudden attack from behind, using her staff. And it sends both of them flying and they both fired a barrage of spells that sported a hue of pink and dark blue. At the same time, both Kuroka and Le Fay would perform simultaneous attacks, Kuroka powering up the energy walls that carried a hint of blue and yellow, along with complex magic seals. And they both throw it at Summoner, who dances and sways her staff against Illya who gets out of the way.
And then, chains would begin to burst out of the earth, dispelling the energy wall that accompanied the sound of shattered glass. But the spell did not wane. Instead, the walls form into darts that would fire against Summoner, who simply flicks her left wrist and casually deflected them before eventually touching the lines of energy with her left hand. She seems to be doing something...
...And she would scatter the beams into firing ranging lasers that carry a hue of dark blue, causing fires to develop and for her to control mentally against her opponents. All the scene would convey were desires of wants and needs that burned like the sun. Waving her flames that spread out, Miyu would bring her Kaleidoscope to the ground, tapping to form an icy snow dropping down from the heavens and toasting the fires.
But Summoner would control the snow with her clenched fist and deflect it back against Miyu who would block it with a shield spell, one of overlaying lines of white.
Thunderous energies were now forming on different axis directions of four. It was Kuroka, using her mastery of using spiritual energy, to the point of creating lightning size energy spears, acting like lightning from the sky, unpredictable and not knowing when to strike.
An iron shield maiden forms around Summoner, enclosing her as the thunderous energies came into contact with her. And as it made contact, the maiden shattered into a million pieces. She disappeared, widening the eyes of every opponent.
And while the battle was happening...
"...Ah!" Rinne in the meantime would...instinctively stop the flow of time on something. Yes, there were sharp-bladed teeth that were now materializing out of the ground, and there were grotesque faces and shapes that are too terrible to describe. They do not look like generic skeletons of humans, but they felt...so wrong, so alien, and the stench of death and feces, along with the concept of flies, was not helping.
A single tap from Sona's Kaleidoscope on the ground made this terrible darkness disappear, performing a darkness-style element of magic. Sona was narrowing her eyes, looking once again at the furious battle that was happening from the rooftops.
"...Peek-a-boo."
"...!"
Summoner was simply standing right behind them, with a smile on her face.
...But.
Rinne and Sona were both widening their eyes. The woman standing in front of them was...
...Rinne?!
...Her?!
This "Rinne" was in fact Summoner who had taken her form. But the form, while looking perfect in every way, cannot be said to be so. Why? Aside from her clothing which was still different from the real Rinne, there was an ominous smile on her face.
"...See ya."
A simple tap with her staff on the ground made the entire surrounding area switch into something else, and both wives of Shidou Itsuka would feel a certain chill running down their spine.
It felt like their entire world was now fading, entering into another more alien world.
And then...
"...What the!" Kuroka muttered in shock, widening her eyes.
The girls all saw Rinne and Sona disappear, alongside Summoner. But as they were currently thinking of what had happened, they all begin to dodge the random beams of power, dark red beams of light appear to dance around the heavens.
"Ahahahahahaha~!"
All of the girls would hear right now is Summoner's haughty laughter as they see her appearing a few meters away, this time seeing her normal, recognizable appearance.
"So sorry for cheating, my little lambs~! But~" Summoner would raise her right hand and forms a sway gesture, with her right index finger and thumb turning east. "I am in need of a bit of private chatting, just between us three official wives, ergo, instead of the OG me, I, her past self, would carry on in her stead and tag along with the unacknowledged quadruplets who willingly wet themselves to be with darling. You understand~"
Miyu, standing on a suburban rooftop, grew irritated as her eyes twitched, sporting a look of displeasure as she begins to fire several beams of light, along with conjuring a wall-like substance that would intend to smash Summoner into a bloody mess.
...And Summoner would turn for a twist like a ballet dancer, with her red eyes flashing. With both of her hands, she would displace the wall-like bluish substance that would try to squash her, making a little twister out of the substance before sending multiple cars into the air in a quick-mannered fashion.
Lightning strikes were suddenly conjured by Kuroka, who gained a burst of speed. The lightning, of white and bluish neon color, would be seen from her electrifying hands, and sends them gracefully at Summoner, who continues to dodge them gracefully like a ballet dancer.

PART 2
DCMK Universe-Prime
Somewhere in another universe, the people of Beika Ward were all looking at the sky, seeing the strange phenomenon of light thunderous sounds and the shattering glass-like dark pinkish cracks, whose snowflakes fell down upon the earth.
One person among them...
"...Grrk!"
A man in his 40s was gritting his teeth. He was a man with dark blue hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark blue jacket with a white interior layout, with the letter "K" seen on the right side, along with a black shirt underneath. He has dark blue pants, black socks, and white sports shoes.
He was seen crouching down, feeling the pain and twitching in a grimace, holding his head with his hand. The phenomenon itself was making his head spin, feeling sentiments of familiarity and uncertainty, sorrow and hope, and other mixtures of complexity that form his multitude of experiences.
KKKKKKkkkkkksssssssssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh
Static seems to form in his mind before it slowly dispelled, revealing an image of a beautiful woman. This woman was making his heartache and his eyes grow into tears. What was happening? In the few times before, in his past, ever since he was living in this world, there were times when he always carries the memory of a young beautiful woman with pale skin, pale blue hair, and impressionable blue eyes, whose image slowly changes with the passing of time and how much he as a man would grow up. The woman would be an adult this time, still carrying a few familiar features, but capable of taking his breath away.
Who was this woman?
"...Mi...Mio..."
The man muttered her name. Mio. Mio Takamiya. The mother of Shidou Itsuka. The woman that even now the man still feels the most affection for. But why? Who is this man who would love this woman with all of his heart, even now?
And the man was now recalling her name. Now was the time for his memories to come into a full circle.
Shinji Takamiya.
The past comes back in several ways. The Spirits' return affects not just one universe, but also another.
PART 3
RX Universe-789 (New World)
Somewhere in Azazel's Laboratory, as Kyoko Akizuki and Kasumi Kida were standing on one side, Rio Sonogami was currently being gushed over by many young women that were all associated with her okaa-san, Sona Sitri.
"Well, it's not unexpected that Rio-chan is more popular right now," Kyoko smiled a bit.
Commonly, from what Ruruko Nimura told Rio, all of these women, along with one other young man named Genshirou Saji, were all considered to be a part of her okaa-san's peerage. When she asked what was a peerage in this context, Tsubaki Shinra, who was her okaa-san's queen, said as simple as she can. "To put it simply, a peerage can be likened to a company. Your okaa-san is our boss while we are her trusted workers."
"Although," Genshirou would interject with a smile, sitting down next to Rio. "Personally, I guess I prefer another definition to define our relationship with your okaa-san. That she and the rest of us are all family, and we all stick together."
"Heeh, is that so?" Rio spoke with an interested smile.
She looks around to find not just her okaa-san's trusted friends, but other people that she may somewhat recognize based on recalling the various pictures that show her papa and specific individuals. What she most especially recognized was the crimson-haired woman who was looking at her with a smile on her face for quite some time now. After talking to a beautiful woman with black ponytail-tied hair and miko, she would see the young woman walking towards her and would lightly crouch in order for her eyes to maintain more contact with Rio.
"Hello, Rio," The woman spoke with a gentle smile. "My name is Rias Gremory, your okaa-san's best friend and an old friend of your papa."
"Uhm, I know," Rio nodded, exuding her curiosity and innocence. "I saw you alongside papa and okaa-san, along with two other people that I do not know."
"Where exactly?" Rias asked with a smile, sporting a look of genuine curiosity.
"From a picture in papa's house, back when Shinichiro-ojisan was showing me around," Rio explained.
"("Hmm. She must be referring to that photo that was taken between me, Sona, Sairaorg, and Seekvaira. Rio must have seen it while being toured at the house.")" Rias thought back to the photo.
"It was very big. Sometimes, I wonder if papa and okaa-san ever got lost when they are walking around the house," Rio continued while making cute gestures that would make many of the girls continue to gush over her.
"Hehehehe," Genshirou laughed a bit. "That's honestly what I thought too the first time I saw your papa's place."
"Oh, I would not worry about them getting lost any time soon," Rias gently patted her head, her face twitching with a smile and a look of humor.
And then suddenly, Shidou Itsuka was suddenly seen from the opening door, carrying his mother gently and tightly, would teleport straight into Azazel's Laboratory. Along with his friend, Shinichiro Takamiya, who had detransformed back into civilian attire, they made their way to a classroom-like room that had Azazel and Natsuki Minamiya, along with many other people gathered together.
"Shidou-kun! Shinichiro-kun!" Rias Gremory muttered, recognizing the two young men that were walking from the door. Everyone who was in the room would also notice them.
"Shinichiro!" Kasumi muttered in shock.
"Shidou!" Kyoko muttered in shock.
"Papa!" Rio exclaims with a surprised expression.
"Sensei!" Shidou exclaims, looking at Azazel. "I need a med bay so that my mother could get some needed rest."
"Already prepared," Azazel nodded, pressing a button on the control panel. The wall to the right corner would immediately open up, revealing a med bay that had plenty of accommodations for those who are ill or who are in need of rest.
There was a comfortable bed just nearby, one that Shidou needed to use.
"Thank you, sensei," Shidou thanked Azazel before he eventually heads towards the med bay and gently lowers his mother down and try to position her in a more comfortable position, with Shinichiro helping out by holding the blanket and providing for Mio Takamiya...who looked so much like his mother.
Shinichiro was thinking of the first time he saw Mio Takamiya, the time when Shidou had reunited with her. He was rather surprised, even when he was told that Mio was basically his mother's Spirit counterpart in Shidou's old reality. But seeing it face to face felt like a different experience altogether.
"...Shin," Mio muttered out of concern, her head laying on a pillow and now in a relaxing sitting position, her hand reaching out to Shidou's hand.
"...Okaa-san, you're gonna be fine, just take a rest for now. The explanations can wait for later," Shidou reassured, grabbing said hand and sporting a look of resolve on his face.
"Wait, wait, wait, hold up?! This woman lying on the bed is your okaa-san?! Takamiya Mio?! Murasame Reine?! The Spirit of Origin?! That okaa-san?!" Kyoko would suddenly appear behind Shidou and was asking multiple questions.
"Kyoko, calm down, take it easy," Kasumi intervened as she puts her hands to her friend's shoulders.
"...Ah, Kyoko, Kasumi," Shidou nodded with a smile. He turns towards Reine who was showing a curious expression. "Okaa-san, I'd like for you to be introduced with two of my childhood friends. The one with the short brown hair is Akizuki Kyoko and the one with the long black hair is Hida Kasumi."
"...Childhood friends?" Mio muttered.
Then Shidou felt a gentle tug from his uniform and sees his precious little daughter standing just to his left.
"Papa, you had Rio worried for a moment," Rio muttered, sporting a saddened expression.
Mio noted the young girl and recognized her, widening her eyes a bit.
Shidou smiled a bit, his eyes turning gentle, as he would carefully lift her up into his arms and carry her, with Rio placing her little hands on her papa's shoulders. Shidou turns towards his mother who was staring at the little one.
"...You," Mio muttered.
"...Rio, I believe that you've already met this woman by now," Shidou spoke with his daughter.
"Umm, Takamiya Mio, Rio's obaa-chan and papa's okaa-san," Rio nodded cutely.
"That's right," Shidou nodded.
"Papa, can Rio sit beside obaa-chan?" Rio asks with a cute smile.
"Of course, Rio," Shidou nodded. Then he lets his daughter come close to Mio's bed. Rio would sit beside Mio as her hands made their way towards the latter, sporting a giggling expression.
"Ehehehe, it's been a while, obaa-chan. Rio misses you so very much," Rio spoke with an innocent smile.
And this in turn made Mio somewhat ashamed while showing a more sober and crestfallen expression. Her left hand was slowly patting Rio's head in the exact same manner that she sometimes did when patting her son's hair, making the latter giggle even more.
"...I...I missed you as well, Rio," Mio spoke with an honest tone.
"...Ehehehe...We...We never really get to spend time this close like this, now that Rio thought about it, obaa-chan," Rio spoke with a smile.
"...No...No, I suppose not," Mio sported an apologetic expression.
After all, when Mio is more focused on the goal of getting her one true love back, that was all she could think of, and from all of the past memories that she can remember, not once has she ever been close to the daughter of her son. That was one of many mistakes that she needed to fully rectify.
As she was thinking of how to make up for past sins, she noted someone coming toward the left. It was a young beautiful woman with black hair, green eyes, and a lab coat.
"Good afternoon to you, Takamiya Mio, my name is Hasegawa Chisato, and starting from now on, I will be your medical doctor starting on this day," Chisato explained in a professional, but subtly careful tone due to feeling a bit intimidated by this woman who, while no longer having her power, nevertheless made her feel like she was standing face to face with...the God of the Bible. It was her aura that Chisato can see, and it was something unlike anything she had ever encountered.
"...I see," Mio softly muttered. "Then...I'm in your care for today, Hasegawa-san."
Mio in turn would narrow her eyes a bit at Chisato. For one, she can tell that the latter was not human. She can just feel the divinity oozing within this woman, the fluctuation of all manner of magical and spiritual energies being more natural to her. That was far from the only person that Mio noted to not be human. In fact, when she glances around, she can clearly see different levels of power present in the room. Noteworthy is the man with the scientist lab coat and the woman with gothic lolita attire nearby.
All of these people? Who are they? Mio noted that her son called the man with the scientist lab coat "Sensei". Trying to recall her memories, she eventually started to at least recall a bit. This was the man who she had seen before along with her son, his commanding officer so to speak. The two were close from what she can glean from the memories that she can remember, when she was traversing through the unnatural void.
"Konnichiwa, Takamiya Mio," Mio's attention was drawn to the voice of the man she was thinking about. Alongside the petite woman in gothic clothing who she also recognizes a bit as another person her son is close with. "I believe that this is the first time that we have formally met face to face. My name is Azazel, and this woman to my right is my wife, Minamiya Natsuki."
"I know..." Mio muttered, lightly narrowing her eyes in concentration, grabbing everyone's attention. "...I know who you both are...somewhat...Avenging Eagle, Snake Bite."
"...!" Azazel and Natsuki sported intrigued and surprised expressions. Shidou as well. And the same can be said for everyone in the room.
"Oh, so you know our old codenames," Azazel sported an intrigued expression. "I wonder how you come to know this information."
"That..." Mio concentrated a bit. Her memories still felt fuzzy, but she can still clearly. "...I...I saw you both."
"From where?" Natsuki asked.
Mio would remain silent for a moment. And then...
"EXTERMINATE!"
Mio flinches...the shrilling metallic echoes...the horrible stench of putrefaction...the burning rage of a thousand suns...
Yes, she remembers. She remembers. The pain and suffering. The subtle horrors that lurk on the battlefields had the dead come back in unnatural ways. Strange craft firing at each other. And her son dying. And her son fighting. And echoes of the war. And the echo of a voice, a familiar one, the old man wearing a bandolier who had saved her son from a diabolical contraption.
...Lord of What?
...Doctor Who?
The whispers ran across the Multiverse. This is the Last Great Time War, they said, on every universe that ever amounted to anything – for how could it be anything else? Many times before races had warred across Space and Time, and on numerous occasions they had been stopped by my people, the mighty, mysterious Time Lords, one of the greatest of the Temporal Powers, who were like unto gods to the lesser races. Now the Time Lords themselves were embattled, and the other Temporal Powers flocked to their banner – the Monan Host, the Nekkistani, the Warpsmiths of Phaidon, the Princessipality of Yevnon, the Sunari, the Virgoans, the Unvoss, the Osirans, the Daemons –
- even the Eternals and the Chronovores.
Surely, nobody could afford another such War. Surely, the Time Lords would never again allow an enemy race to grow to be such a threat.
But on the front lines, they whispered, surely this will be the death of us all.
"...The Last Great Time War," Mio revealed.
She spoke slowly, as if trying to mull the words that came out of her mouth. She remembers the Warrior, the Man With No Name, uttering it as he describes the conflict. He was giving a speech to an assembly...an assembly of what may as well be gods.
As she said this, most were surprised, and some like Shidou and Azazel were concerned. The way she said it, the tone she used was nothing like her deadpanned tone. The tone of voice was more solemn, more trembling, and her eyes were hinting something. A primal, natural fear.
The Last Great Time War. The Multiverse War. The Last War in Heaven. And many other names. This was the name of the conflict where Azazel and Natsuki had once fought tooth and nail, in most cases, to survive. Shidou was also one of them, being under Azazel and Natsuki's personal command.
"...But how?" Shidou made a concerned expression, with eyebrows knitting.
"Oho, more mysteries than meet's the eye, this one," the woman with artificial bunny ears, Tabane Shinonono, sported a curious expression, putting one hand to her chin.

"Warning! Interdimensional breach detected! Warning! Interdimensional breach detected!"
"What the heck?!" Genshirou sported a worried expression.
Azazel would sprint towards the screens. He sees one of them showing a few readings all heavily concentrated on several locations of Tenguu City.
"...Oh no," Azazel muttered. "It's just as I feared. Paradox was right."
Shidou, noticing Azazel's grim expression, would turn towards his mother and to his daughter, saying. "I'll be right back, you two." Then he would sprint towards Azazel and asks. "Sensei, what's happening out there?" While he was speaking, Shinichiro was following close behind.
Azazel looks at Shidou and Shinichiro with an urgent expression. "We got trouble, you two, and not the good kind either if what Paradox says is anything to go by."
The First Spirit's arrival did not go unnoticed.
A power that came forth from someone of her prestige was something uncontainable. It not only affected Shidou's universe but also another universe where more than half of Shidou's fellow Kamen Riders live.
But...
There was yet another universe that became open by accident. Mio Takamiya was the trigger to essentially break through the lock that had been placed on it. What universe was this? A world that is completely forbidden and locked away, cut off from the rest. A world that travellers in the know would not dare cross.
And now, this world would make itself known.
What world is this?
A world where the Great War evolved into something terrible, a nightmarish thought that the Three Factions would never want to bother thinking about, for it was...
The Apocalypse.
A few moments ago...
Somewhere in the skies, forming a perimeter were a couple of elite IS Pilots, instructors that all came from IS Academy. Among them, leading the pilots, was Major Chifuyu Orimura, a beautiful woman in her mid-twenties, wearing her own personal IS Unit—Kurazakura, with a dark bodysuit with silver outlines and a dark powered endoskeleton, with mighty wings with darker and silver outlines and edges. There was a sharp katana that is sheathed on her left side, and two side arms in the holsters of her waist that packs a punch in terms of firepower. She has a black high-top ponytail, distinguishing sharp brown eyes, and a serious-lined mouth.
From her vantage point, she can see from afar the direct engagement that several members of the Valkyrie Legion were engaged to the Empire's IS Puppet Drones. With swift speed, the ladies of the chosen slain would slash and hack through the various drones, causing them to blow into several parts. The problem however was that more of them were materializing non-stop. Blue rays of light and bolts filled the skies, clasping in thunder, just as the flash of dark pinkish lightning sets forth. The three crosses that were seen created a kind of ominous atmosphere, signaling a kind of warning.
"...Hmm, are we sure that we should just stay here and not help the girls out, senpai?"
The one who asked was Captain Maya Yamada, a young beautiful woman in her twenties, wearing her own personal IS Unit—Rafale Revive Basic, with a dark green body suit and dark green powered endoskeleton with heavy armaments, wielding a large sniper automatic rifle, with an appropriate scope that measures from low, mid, and high. She had short green hair that matches the color of her eyes and modified glasses that has functions like target locking, temperature scanning, and others. Her eyebrows were scrunching, showing genuine concern, pursing her lips.
"I would not need to worry, Yamada," Chifuyu reassured, all the while sighing. "Kusakabe and her girls have this all well in hand. Still though..." Chifuyu narrowed her eyes. "...The fact that sensei called us specifically to this incident makes me think that something worst is about to happen besides the Empire showing up."
Azazel, or as Chifuyu and her former classmates and batchmates of IS Academy for many years, Professor Roku Takayama, their teacher back in the day, called in Chifuyu, Maya, and every single one of his former students into the fray, all elite fighter pilots and teachers of IS Academy.
For one example of one of Azazel's former students...
"...I think we both know that seems more than likely, Chifuyu."
There were only a few rare people that would call her by her first name. Most would call her either by her last name or her designated rank in the international United Nations-sponsored IS Corps. And the one who spoke to her was one of the few who would address her by her first name with a tone of familiarity; but it also hinted at a stubborn rivalry between the two, and also their iron-clad friendship.
A young beautiful woman in her mid-twenties, wearing her own personal IS Unit—Zecros Mandala, with a dark bodysuit with white and dark blue outlines, and a dark blue powered endoskeleton, with mighty wings of dark blue and white outlines and edges. Like Chifuyu, there was also a sharp katana that is sheathed on her left side, and two side arms in the holsters of her waist that packs a punch in terms of firepower. She has long black hair and sharp dark blue eyes. She too was sporting a grim expression, keeping her eyes on the watch.
Her name was Major Reiri Hida.
Looking around the place, there was nothing except the battle in the skies, the three sparks of heated battles between three Kamen Riders plus co versus three of the dangerous individuals in the ranks of the Empire. And there was also the mysterious phenomenon in the skies to consider.
"...Wait?"
A young beautiful woman with pink hair that falls under her shoulders and pink eyes, wearing her own personal IS Unit—Gaia Severus, with a dark bodysuit with pink outlines, and a dark pink powered endoskeleton, with mighty wings of dark pink outlines and edges.
Her name is Lieutenant Colonel Relie Aingram, the headmaster of IS Academy.
Her narrowed her eyes to the east. "Everyone, look."
Something was wrong. She and everyone else would look to the east and see something. There were hints and traces of cracks that were likened to a glass-shattering window that is now about to break. It made all of the IS Pilots become attentive and cautious.
"Watchtower, this is Hida, we may have found a problem that is occurring somewhere in the eastern corner...no, make that three in the western corner...no three more..." Reiri muttered softly before realizing with an alarmed expression that there were multiple cracks of glass that were now seen from many directions in the now deserted city that had been thoroughly evacuated.
"RAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"...That...does not sound good," Chifiyu would draw out her weapon from the scabbard, narrowing her eyes. Everyone else was now readying their respective weapons.
And one of the shattered glass, the first one, somewhere in the east, would break apart, revealing...an ominous hellish beast with horns that is estimated to be over a few feet tall, at least taller than a normal five-story building. Smoke arose out of the hardbound skin, with chains, and horns on its terrible face, and a flaming sword. From the ground, there were demonic creatures of all shapes and sizes, all armed to the teeth with the deadliest of sharp-edged weapons.
And then, swarms of bat-like creatures swarm off from the broken glasses, and were clearly hostile in intent. Many of the swarm-like bats would swiftly fly toward the IS Pilots who were now getting themselves ready for the fight of their lives.
...And then.
They all noted something else. Right above them, there was another crack of glass. This time, coming out of the shattering phenomenon as sparkles fell, there was the presence of winged humanoids, all heavily armored, with cross-like symbols found on some of their armor and helmet, with glowing golden ominous eyes, and their wings were emitting white-light blue color.
A few IS Units slightly lowered their guard temporarily because they thought that the cavalry was here, thinking that Heaven had now decided to join the party. However...this was far from the case, because these soldiers were now aiming their ranged weapon that they would now use to...
"Glory to God in the highest! Purge this new world of its sins!" the angelic soldiers exclaim.
...Open fire on everyone in sight. Whether these dreaded bat-like creatures from the sky...or the IS Pilots who would now turn their shields up, displacing the yellow energized beams that explode with a large quantity that would prove deadly. And then, many of the IS Pilots would fire energy bolts and other projectiles materializing from the units, cutting down numerous numbers of the swarm and picking off some of the angelic armored creatures.
"Watchtower, be advised, I'm calling for an Emergency Code 334!" Reiri exclaims before eventually materializing five green bolts of plasma that would intersect and cut down numerous numbers of the bat-like demons.
And Chifuyu would use her blade to create an artificial wind that would scatter the other demons away. With quick-paced speed, she dodges through multiple beams of yellow light before eventually picking off one angelic humanoid at a time.
What the hell was happening? This is what Chifuyu would think because one would never have thought she would be fighting angels. But something was wrong either way. The more she took a closer look at them and see the differences, the more she realized that...these were not the angels that she knew.
And she dodges another strike from an angel that was about to pick her off with his sword, and she responded with a slash towards the waist and a kick that would send the angel flying down before crashing to the ground. Then with a burst of speed, she would make herself scarce before multiple discharges of yellow energy came out form the ranged weapons of these unknown angels.
Maya in her turn would provide cover fire for Chifuyu, using her rifle to fire rounds after rounds of highly concentrated plasma bolts colored in green, picking off the bat-like creatures and the angelic soldiers who were targetting her. Reiri on the other hand was now joining Chifuyu in the fight, slashing and hacking through the horde of demonic bats and taking on some of the angelic soldiers.
After slashing one angelic soldier after dodging his golden light-bladed-based weapon, she would eventually do a back-to-back position with Chifuyu who had lastly spun around and decimated several of the demonic bats before she glided next to Reiri. And then, they both held their swords together, their hands forming a grip on the handles.
"This is strange," Reiri muttered.
"You noticed it too, huh," Chifuyu muttered.
Why are the angels of heaven attacking them? But even more so, are these even the angels they thought? Because their appearances were something they never once encountered with the actual angels that they knew.
"...Holy shit," Rock the Haze cursed a bit.
He, along with Professor Paradox and Spider-Man, accompanied by Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edefelt who were wearing their respective magical girl uniforms and wielding their own Kaleidoscopes, were all standing on one of the school rooftops of Raizen High School, seeing the innumerable numbers of angelic armored beings and various demonic hordes that were now parrying and fighting each other. And these two forces do not seem to discriminate against anyone from what they can see.
"...Not my type of grammar, young man, but the sentiments remain the same," Paradox narrowed his eyes. He glances toward Rin and Luvia. "I suggest that you ladies set up a protective barrier for the entire school.
"Right," Rin nodded with a serious expression. And of course, she and Luvia would raise their staffs and raise it towards the sky. Various red and blue lights of pure mana emitted from their staffs, casting a kind of field that would provide protection for the oncoming onslaught.
"Spider-Man," Paradox turns towards Spider-Man.
"Hai, sensei," Spider-Man nodded. Then he would bring his bracelet near to his mouth. "Marveler: Change Leopardon!"
And not a word too soon, a yellow portal would suddenly come forth just to the side of the building. There was a giant machine of red, yellow, and black. It had yellow eyes that spark with an ominous glow, and its chest had a red rectangular color with a web-like pattern along with two yellow hexagons found in its legs that also had a web-like pattern.
"Watchtower, be advised, I'm calling for an Emergency Code 334!" Reiri's voice reaches the command center of the Fraxinus.
"What the hell!" Kotori Itsuka exclaims from her command chair, sporting a look of shock, with her hands clenching at the armrest. Everyone on the bridge was now sporting a look of shock and alarm. They look to find many of the cracked glasses that were coming out in droves.
Both were angelic figures in strange, heavy armor, with wings flapping profusely and with weapons on the ready. And demonic creatures littering from around the corner. They were all clashing violently towards each other. In fact, from the multiple hovering screens, they would see some of the angels firing projectiles at one of the infernal beasts, knocking it down to a bloody mess, a large demon hacking through several angelic figures with his sword before getting blasted with holy white light from multiple other angels, and other figuring descriptions of what may as well be a messy battle, especially when these two seemingly opposing forces are also targeting Ratatoskr's allies.
"What the hell?!" Ryoko Kusakabe exclaims from the comm-channel. She was currently dodging several beams of light and shielding herself with her Territory. "Where the hell are all of these guys coming from?!"
"...Is this...?"
Someone spoke from one of the hovering screens who was also watching on her end of the violence and dangers that were now endangering Tenguu City. It was a woman with a petite height, with silver platinum hair that she kept to a ponytail, and grey eyes of concern. She is wearing a military uniform consisting of a light brown suit and skirt, the former of which she wears over a white-collar shirt and black tie.
Captain Teletha "Tessa" Testarossa.
She was the captain of the world's most advanced submarine called the Tuatha De Danaan. And she was of course Kotori's senior, as a fellow Whispered and in relation to overall military affairs.
"...Hmm," Azazel, from another hovering screen, pinching his eyes, as if he did not feel surprised. However, that did not mean he was not alarmed and greatly concerned about the situation. But with his face sporting a stone-cold look, his eyes turning war-weary, spoke seriously. "...Paradox did warn me a bit about this. I may as well call in the Rangers for this current situation just to be absolutely sure."
"Eh? The Rangers? Is it really that bad?" Kotori asked, sporting a concerned look.
"If the skies and the ground are anything to go by, yes, I'm calling in the Boys, and I may as well call in the rest of the Kamen Riders because this situation may potentially spread too far if we do not contain it," Azazel would turn his attention to Tessa. "Captain, get Sergeant Sagara and the others into their cockpits. It's time for them to join in the fight and help contain this situation."
"Of course, sir, I understand," Tessa spoke with a respectful and serious nod.
"...And in the meantime," Azazel muttered, narrowing his eyes. "I'm going to get to work on closing these breaches."
"Kotori-san," Miku Izayoi would suddenly speak up, making the red-head commander look at her. The latter would see the former sport a determined expression. "If you would not mind, I would like to offer my services for this day, for darling's sake."
"...And in the meantime," Azazel muttered, narrowing his eyes. "I'm going to get to work on closing these breaches."
Azazel would turn his face towards Shidou. "Shidou, you and Shinichiro may need to go back to the front."
Shidou nodded. "Ah." He turns to Shinichiro who was nodding at him. Then he would run towards the bedside where his mother and daughter were there, sporting worried expressions. "You two, I have to go."
"Shin?!" Mio muttered, lightly raising her left hand.
Shidou grabs it, gently squeezing it and showing a determined expression, one without any trace of fear. "Okaa-san, I need to go. My wives and several of my friends are still on the battlefield. I cannot leave them." He would turn towards Rio. "Rio, take care of your grandmother, alright?"
"Uhm," Rio nodded. "Rio will be here for obaa-chan, papa."
Shidou smiled as he patted his daughter on the hair. "That's my girl." Then he turns around to face Rias whose face was now showing a serious battle-determined feature. "Lady Gremory, do you think you could come with me and Shinichiro and provide some cover fire?"
"Oh, I would be more than happy too, Itsuka-kun," Rias nodded, indicating her Kaleidoscope.
"Well, this is interesting..." Kamen Rider Savitar muttered with interest.
As Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Savitar were still continuing their battles at high speed and with their respective weapons parrying on each other, forming sparks that fly out in droves, they instantly noted the disturbances that are now coming out in droves from the shattering cracks that were now seen from above and below.
"RAAAAAAGGGGGGHHH!"
They would see the tall, monstrous demon that would now come. And along with it, various demonic creatures of different shapes.
"What?!" Seekvaira muttered in shock before eventually blocking the golden projectiles by conjuring up her shields.
She, along with Sairaorg and Kamen Rider Gaim, as they were fighting Ares Mars, were interrupted by this sudden phenomenon where demonic creatures would come forth in droves and multiple angelic armored individuals with handguns and golden light-based swords were now scouring about. Both the angelic and demonic forces were battling against each other and the three plus Ares are getting caught in their little tug of war.
"None shall defy our Lord!" An angel warrior would swoop down with his white-light blue wings and try to swiftly cut down Gaim, only for the latter to dodge and slash the angel, sending him crashing to the ground.
At the same time, a violent explosion occurred, sending multiple numbers of the angelic sentinels and the demonic flying beasts away from about ten to fifteen meters. Ares had sent them away, using his dark power that increases further upon the arrival of these two colliding cosmic forces.
"Hmph," Ares humped a bit, unimpressed with what he considered to be pathetic interlopers interrupting an honorable battle between real warriors. "And here I had hoped that we had a bit more time before this event as predicted by that witch would come to pass."
"Slay the dragons! Glory to the Almighty!" Many of the angelic hosts, armored to the teeth cried out as they fired at both Issei and Vali, both of whom were dodging their attacks and bringing down the hurt on them.
On an abandoned suburban road, one demonic beast tried to pick off Copy Master, aiming his mace at him, only for Copy Master to dodge casually as the demonic beast would explode so suddenly due to the dimensional missiles that were sent in his way.
"...It seems that our time had become shortened just as predicted," Copy Master muttered.
At the same time...
D&D Flame Blade Vent
Ryuki would at the same time use his sword to slash multiple demonic creatures heading towards him.
"Hmm~"
Both the time remnant Summoner and the four ladies acquainted with Shidou Itsuka noted the sudden appearances of the angelic and demonic troops all converging into their location.
"Ah~ Hehehe~ Well, bout time, right on schedule," Summoner smirked a litte bit.
"Wait, what do you mean by that, wench?!" Kuroka narrowed her cat-like eyes.
"Oh," Summoner shrugs her shoulders a bit. Eventually, chains of powerful poison suddenly materialize and casually swap the interlopers, with angelic and demonic appearances, that were to come near them, separating them and the legions from about 10 meters. What the chains were doing was also stabbing through and decimating them, even to the point of crushing them. "My, my, my, it seems that our fun time is over between us."
And then, Summoner would disappear like static, leaving the four girls be against the growing tide of angelic and demonic forces that were seeing everything and everyone as hostile, whether to themselves as can be seen from the vicious clashes in the skies or taking interest on all of the girls that were on the ground.
George Kurai would look at what was happening from the skies and toward the ground. Standing on an abandoned road, he would bear witness to the chaos, a clash between two almighty powers from another universe.
Paradox had warned him about this. Back in his native universe, he appeared to him and told him that he needed to get back to Shidou's universe. Why? Because Paradox had anticipated something like this.
George would think and reflect back to the discussions of the meeting relating to the Spirits. Out of all of the Spirits that were heavily discussed, there was Mio Takamiya. Her potential arrival was something of general concern due to her status as the First Spirit, meaning many inexplicable things can possibly happen. And right now, the hypothetical concerns were right on point.
Gritting his teeth and sporting a grim expression, narrowing his eyes, he would suddenly grab a watch-like device with his right hand, position his arm forward, and then twist the dial clockwise and point the arrow to the left. He then presses the button of the device which is known as a Ridewatch.
ZI-O! ZIKU-DRIVER!
A digital hologram of a clock-based helmet appeared from the watch before it dissipated. Suddenly, there was a transformation belt automatically materializing into his waist and wrapping around his entire person. It was white-grey in color, and on the front of it had a display screen with two available slots protruding on each side of the belt for inserting the Ridewatches and a crown button on top.
George begins to insert the Ridewatch on the right side of the slot and it begins on standby as a sound of a clock ticking comes from the driver itself. He presses the button on top of the driver with his right hand, making the main driver tilt counterclockwise a little as he raises his arms to his right side before he moved over his head as they eventually landed in position. His left hand was raised to the upper right side with his left palm outwards while his right was by the hip with his right palm open. It was similar to the movement of the hands of the clock.
As he was doing that, a giant holographic clock formed behind him with several different gears around it turning and the clock hands spinning counterclockwise. He was ready as he flick his hands and was about to say the one common word that unites all Kamen Riders. And he would say it as well in remembrance of his senpai, Shidou Itsuka, to whom he was close with.
"Henshin!"
He backhanded the driver as it spins 340° counterclockwise until it went back to its original position while bringing his arms in an X pattern before bringing them back to his sides. The clock hand from the holographic clock spins together at the twelfth before splitting to the sides, the small hand landed on the ten and the big hand landed on the two. The pink katakana word spelled 'Rider' formed under the clock hand. The katakana pulsed outwards, launching them ahead of him as three holographic watch bands circle around him forming his armor. They dissipated a moment later as he was now officially in his armor.
DING! DONG!
RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER! ZI-O!
It consists of a jet-black suit with a silver band in the center with silver ornaments on the sides of his shoulder and chest armor with pink highlights, and pink highlights on the hips and forelegs. On his forearms are the Ridewatch holders carrying two blank watches on his right and one on his left, he had a silver Ridewatch that says 'Bike' in Japanese carried on his left holder. His hands are black with pink armor on his fingers and backhand. His helmet looks like a clock with a white clock piece with the symbol that spelled 'Kamen' on the forehead, and a black visor until the Katakana flew back and slammed into his visor as it shines brightly in pink.
Now...
George Kurai has become Kamen Rider Zi-O.
And he would now begin to make his next move.
ALL RIDERS ASSEMBLE
Both wives were currently somewhere on an abandoned road. As both Rinne and Sona, who are now doing their best to stay together, noticed that from miles away, there was no one, just abandoned houses in the suburban area. And there was the familiar afternoon sun just on the horizon.
"...Ah," Rinne recognized this road. This was...This was the familiar steep road that would eventually lead toward the old home of the Itsuka Family, the old house from the old road. "...Wait, this place?"
Something was very wrong. Why did they both end up here? She felt a contradiction of laws that make up this false reality. Rinne can hear Sona make a sigh, the latter standing close to her.
"It appears that Summoner had dragged us into her little pocket dimension...one of them in this case," Sona said, putting her hand to the side of her glasses.
"...You've experienced this before, haven't you?" Rinne asked, concerned.
"Yes," Sona nodded, turning towards Rinne. "Be on your guard, Rinne, Summoner is not a threat to be treated lightly. Just as a stage magician can have multiple bags of tricks, Summoner can be said to be such, a Jack of All Trades, Master of All, an opposite and equivalent trope."
"Ahahaha~ A very fine compliment to be received from the Ebon-Haired Waterfall Princess herself."
Rinne widened her eyes as she can hear...her voice?! Sona was simply narrowing her eyes as if she grew to already expect this. They would look in every direction, finding no one on the open roads. Everything besides the voice was eerily quiet.
"Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.🎶"
The humming lullaby-like voice—Rinne Sonogami's voice—from Summoner echoed throughout the area. Both Rinne and Sona could not tell where exactly Summoner is, but they can definitely feel her malevolent aura.
"...Hmph, I always wondered what you really were like, Sonogami Rinne."
Rinne and Sona turn south to find Summoner...whose face had transformed into a perfect replica of Rinne Sonogami as she is now. No, perfect does not seem to be right. Summoner's Rinne expression was more subdued, with flashing red eyes, taking warning vibes. She doesn't carry her staff with her but both of her hands were free as a feather. She was simply looking at the horizon with an interested smile.
"...Now, I know what you're all thinking, Summoner, you are so unfair, what did you do? Why did you bring only us two here into this seemingly abandoned layout of the town of my own making, ones that resemble the old world where darling once lived..."
Her face turns towards Rinne specifically with a smile. "Well, while my time remnant handles the magical girl knockoffs and the two interlopers, I may as well take the proper time and effort to get to fully know my darling's other woman, all of us, darling's little angels, all together. But of course, my curiosity runs in circles towards you, Sonogami Rinne, after all..."
Her smile, while looking beautiful on the outside, struck a disturbing line. Rinne and Sona felt like they were sweating drops from underneath their brow, narrowing their eyes at this woman.
"...Why, oh why, out of all of the Spirits did darling choose you?" Summoner mused a bit. She was raising her left hand to her right elbow, placing it there, with her right hand placed to her face.
"...?" Rinne made a frown, her eyebrows moving downward.
"What kind of question is this leading on to, Summoner?" Sona asks. She remains cautious, steadying her position, readying for battle, and careful of her feet.
"Well, you see, as we both know already by now based on several past discussions, Mrs. Itsuka, and all of them involved a lot of heavy debates, a thrill for my intellectual capacity and prowess~" Summoner spoke the last part with perfect English when addressing Sona. "Darling is rather...special to say the least and I figured that this third-rated woman beside you would care to know more about her dearly beloved husband, even if it was from a bad girl like me."
...Of course, there was a tone of spite, subtle but effective to get the point across.
"...What do you mean?" Rinne asked, still cautious but willing to listen, even when Summoner felt like she was mocking her entire person.
"The Blue Ribbon Empire—and moi by extension—had constantly been watching darling for a very long time. How long? Irrelevant when one can simply travel back and forth through the timelines through the use of our finest arts and crafts. Darling is...well, shall we say, the kind of man who defies fate and destiny...and when I say that, I meant it in every sense of the word. It is what makes him so very special."
And then, as Summoner continues explaining, there were shards of glass that were suddenly materializing from every side. Both Rinne and Sona glance at these shards and they notice something odd.
"...!"
Both of them, for one reason or another, recognize the people that were in these floating glasses. Eleven of the main Spirits.
Kotori Itsuka, Tohka Yatogami, Origami Tobiichi, Yoshino Himekawa, Kurumi Tokisaki, Yamai Sisters, Miku Izayoi, Natsumi Kyouno, Nia Honjo, and Mukuro Hoshimiya.
Women who each laid an impact upon the life of Shidou Itsuka. A recognizable group that overlaid the humble beginnings of Shidou Itsuka. Various scenes were happening that centered on all of these women. Events of a past life that are all but forgotten by most, except for Shidou Itsuka, the only survivor of his world.
"Ah, good, good, so you do recognize them all, the bunch of spoiled-hearted princesses that they are," Summoner's voice was starting to get grating once again to Rinne's ears. Rinne could not help but turn back and glared back at the twisted reflection of her face, her eyes were carrying a hue of red. Sona in turn narrowed her eyes, displeased at the lack of respect.
"Oh," Summoner tilted her head and smiled, putting both hands behind her back. "Struck a nerve? Is that not what you described as a bunch of little girls who have no idea what they are doing? The fact that they wasted such delightful power, lacking tact, lacking imagination, lacking precision."
"Insulting me is one thing, Summoner, but insulting my friends is a different matter," Rinne's eyes glowed, her knuckles feeling cold. This woman was pushing her buttons far too much! Worst, she was enjoying every second of it! She was someone that Rinne was taking seriously and trying to be cautious, controlling the now bubbling temper that lay dormant on the inside.
Why was this woman pushing her buttons constantly? She does know who Rinne is, correct? If so, then why? Why the risks? One would chalk it up as Summoner not being a person in her right state of mind, but...Rinne felt that there was more to it than just this. She remembers Sona's grim and displeased expression when Summoner came into the picture. There was a certain history as well between her co-wife and this woman who seems to be treating all of this as fair game.
"Friends who are supposed to be dead, in this case," Summoner made a very serious frown. "But they aren't...at least not anymore...not for much longer...Come now, Sonogami Rinne, did you really think it's a miracle of the divine for you and for your daughter to simply come back? For the First Spirit to come back? For all of the Spirits to come back? Don't you find that and everything else very odd?"
"...My husband told me of what had happened," Rinne firmly stated.
"Did he~?" Summoner asked with a smirk. "Did he really tell you everything about the Time War~?"
Rinne would glance towards Sona, both of them sporting a look of trust and concern. Something did not add up. What was this question leading to? She turns back and answers Summoner.
"...He did," Rinne muttered, narrowing her eyes. "He said that it was the greatest conflict that would ever be known in the Multiverse. Peoples, civilizations, entire worlds perished."
"Hmm, that is the truth, but it is a very imperfect summarized version at best, since that war was quite the messy party with a lot of poopers and issues. One just cannot summarize it even if you do have the full picture just because it was a rather big party," Summoner spoke with a thin-line mouth. "...But..." She raised her eyebrow. "...Has he ever told you about...how you died during the War?"
"...!" Rinne paid full attention to that.
...What?
Rinne looks at Sona who also showed a concerned and serious expression.
"Or really, how exactly any of you Spirits were dying during the War itself?" Summoner shrugs her shoulders, and when she said this, Rinne turns back to face her. "Well, you were all practically irretrievable by nature as well as most of everything else. In any case, it seems that my darling has yet to tell you about those itty bitty details, but that doesn't really matter, it's not some kind of deal breaker or anything."
And then Summoner, waving her right with a sway, would summon multiple needles on the ground. In turn, Sona countered by summoning ice, blocking the needles from their path. Even as Summoner would dialogue with the wives, she plans attacks. The fact that they were both somewhere trapped in a kind of private dimension without backup was generally concerning enough.
"Oh, and don't even think of trying to break out of this place, because I know you two are thinking about it," Summoner smirked a bit, tilting her head. "If I'm not mistaken in my calculations, and I'm usually not, time is more or less extended in this little pocket of mine. That would at least buy me more time to play with you two before the inevitable conclusion of the battle in real-time that may turn into a more messier endeavor."
"Conclusion?" Sona narrowed her eyes. "Let me guess, you had foreseen something about the relative future."
"B-I-N-G-O!" Summoner made a sing-song tone, and then her body movements started swaying like an eccentric dancer before sprinting and hopping ahead in the other direction in a casual fashion.
Rinne and Sona, not knowing what Summoner's truly planning, decide to follow the latter.
"...As much as it pains to say this, the only course of action for us to follow would be to keep this woman in our line of sight," Sona explained with an annoyed expression.
"...That is true...but...admittedly, this woman is trying to drive me to stomp my foot on the ground..." Rinne spoke with honesty, showing her already growing dislike for this woman.
"And I do not blame you for that, for she too irritates me, and I have had to deal with that woman for the past four and a half years, and then some," Sona agreed with the sentiments of her fellow co-wife.
And so, they both begin to run after Summoner who was still casually walking through the slopes of the abandoned road. And then, as they continued to walk and walk, they noted something odd. The surrounding area would turn to static. And...Summoner was no longer there. Rather, there was light rain and the sound of rumbling thunder. They look to the sky and see clouds of darkness.
Their surroundings were changing shape. Everything was switching into another space. Cracks appear as the wives trod upon this unknown but mysterious and foreboding road. Memories...echoes of the past...all forming into this one-way road...
In one specific memory, there was a woman that Rinne would recognize, widening her eyes. She stopped walking for a moment. The same can be said for Sona who also widened her eyes. The image was that of a mother carrying a baby boy that was silently cooing with pleasure, glad to be in his mother's arms.
"Oh, oh, oh~ You've seen that memory before, my dear princess, but the third-rate has yet to know of it. But oh~! Do continue walking. Continue on and see my prized little merry-go-round. Hehehehe."
Summoner's haughty noblewoman voice, carrying Rinne's voice, echoed throughout their general surroundings. Rinne and Sona were looking at each other, sporting general concerns. What kind of mine games is Summoner planning?
And thus, they would walk further and further. And the memories were becoming recognizable, especially for one Rinne Sonogami. For she sees multiple incidents of past events. Shidou and a specific Spirit. All of them were familiar. There were too many to describe. Echoes of several voices. And the odder side was that there were stuff teddy bears and other playthings of nursery theme objects dancing around from one side or another.
And...
...The further she goes, the more she notices odd things. She sees Shidou, looking more younger, standing on a certain grave, sporting a look of resolve in his eyes underneath his grim face, along with lightly embracing a grieving Kyoko Akizuki. And in another, she sees a transformed Kamen Rider Black fighting against terrible grotesque monsters that she does not recognize. And in another, she sees Shidou walking alongside a handsome, foreign man wearing a dark brown pinstriped suit and dark chestnut brown necktie, walking in the sand of some kind of bay.
"...Huh?" Rinne sported a more curious look as she sees this specific memory. Sona would also be interested in this memory, immediately recognizing the man who was with Shidou.
"...Ah, this bay. Never could really have enough of it," The man in a suit said with a smile, patting a lightly depressed Shidou on the shoulder as they walked.
"...How does a bay of all things make you forget about things, Doctor?" A young Shidou, thirteen years of age, spoke with a depressed and bleak tone, and his eyebrows were making a dubious expression.
"...It doesn't," The man now known as the Doctor explained sadly with a smile. "Not really... Just like this bay that we, all you can do is simply watch on the horizon, broaden our scope of vision."
And then, the Doctor and Shidou stopped walking, looking at the setting sun whose rays were seen to cover the skies, giving it a more somber and yet hopeful look.
"...And now...we just watched the sunset...It's actually quite meaningful when you take your own experiences into account..." the Doctor said with a smile.
"...Yeah...I suppose it is..." Shidou muttered sadly.
"...Hmm~ A rather bittersweet moment, this one~ Ah, I suppose you have yet to know who that man in that memory was? Oh, someone that not even I would dare cross, that I can reassure you~"
Summoner's voice echoed once more. And as she spoke, the memory would disappear and out of sight, making the wives focus once more.
"...Now, why am I still wasting time with all of this charade? Well, take a good, hard look."
And as she said this...
"...Rinne! No! No! Not again! Rinne! Rinnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
"...!"
Both wives gasp in shock and horror. Rinne felt shaken as she saw something to her right. A clasp of thunder resounded as if in response to the memory that was being shown. Who she was seeing was...herself...but...the surroundings of that memory are odd. It emanated a cold, calculative atmosphere utterly devoid of any sunshine. And... She saw herself... Naked and without clothing... Lying down on the floor...
"...Wait...what...?" Rinne muttered, not sure what to make sense of this, seeing her body looking so horrible, like someone who had not had any form of water, suffering dehydration, yet it still carried a more ethereal beauty. Her body, as seen from that memory, had multiple grey tubes stuck onto her, as if she was some kind of guinea pig for some kind of twisted experiment.
And she sees what appeared to be an older Shidou Itsuka, one whose blue hair had greyish sides, wearing a modified Raizen High School uniform, with military equipment and attire. His eyes, looking more tired and hollow, leaked tears in his despairing eyes. His arms gently carry the deceased dried-up body of Rinne Sonogami. There were some people gathered there whom she did not recognize.
And then, the memory disappeared, leaving the wives troubled by what they saw.
"...Quite a difficult sight to stomach, wasn't it?" Summoner's voice spoke with bemusement.
Rinne was now sporting a distraught expression, looking around with gritted teeth to find Summoner anywhere, but she could not find her. Sona, looking just as displeased, wondered just as much as Rinne, gripping her Kaleidoscope, and trying to sift through what she noted to be a kind of mental fog that allows Summoner to remain hidden, invisible to the naked human eye, and other senses would need to be required as the sense of sight is more unreliable and not worth much.
"That specific memory that you saw is the most difficult of me to produce or conjure if only because this event takes place within the conflict itself, making it tricky. Very, very difficult, this one, especially with its annoying lock status."
"Summoner, what is it that I just saw?!" Rinne exclaims. Her tone was a mixture of anger, frustration, desperation, and other bubbling feelings coming out on the surface.
"...Why...That was the moment you died, silly~ Well, one of them anyway. And like I said before, not a deal breaker or anything. What I do wonder genuinely speaking is why exactly does darling even bother with someone like you?"
"What?" Rinne muttered, narrowing her eyes, glowing with a reddish feature.
"You are quite the odd one whenever I tend to look back at darling's precious timeline. Out of all of the Spirits, darling chose you and only you, the one person that would have been destined to be forgotten. Darling's heart never once forgot you or your face. Oh, how he misses you so very much!~"
Just then, a giant axe was seen flying down towards Rinne and Sona. Rinne, having enough of this farce, unleashed a wave of dark pink energy, materializing from many sides, and pulverized the axe into nothing, grinding it to dust.
"It's quite an irritant, really. All this time, it's always been you. You, you, you! Every single time we fought, I can tell that he does it all because he remembers you and that little termite."
"...Termite?" Rinne's fists were clenching and her teeth were grinding in anger.
Does she dare to insult her daughter?! SHE DARES?!
"...Where are you, you coward?!" Rinne's expression turned dark. "Why not face me one on one?! Enough of these farce tricks?!"
"Ah, well, I'd love to, but I'm having a bit of a tight schedule to keep due to lack of time. And speak of the devil, look a here, there's an interloper who is gonna be breaking and entering right now~"
As if on cue, someone suddenly came, creating a kind of breaking glass-like effect. Rinne and Sona both noticed this as they look in the direction where it occurred. A few 5 to 10 meters away. A smash would make it open, revealing a clock based-like figure, much to Rinne and Sona's surprise; and Sona in particular felt a little relief due to recognizing the figure.
"...And here comes everyone's favorite majesty~! Give it up for George Kurai—Kamen Rider Zi-O~!"
"("George Kurai?")" Rinne made a curious expression. From what Rinne can remember about the last meeting of the Kamen Riders, George Kurai was a young man from another universe, and from what she can recall, George and Shidou were rather close.
As Zi-O would step out of the crack, the world itself would now begin to break apart as multiple cracks begin to reveal even more uninvited guests. The sounds and shouts of demonic creatures and angelic armored individuals. Their ranged weapons are seen to clash, accompanied by violent tremors.
Zi-O wastes no amount of time. His eyes were turning pinkish. He would suddenly teleport himself to Rinne and Sona's position. And then, a clock-like portal was seen from the ground, one that Zi-O conjured. And then at some point, they all came to a now abandoned suburban area, henceforth they were back into the normal flow of reality. From the skies, they can see the same thing that they saw in the illusion world that Summoner produced.
"What?!" Rinne muttered, making her cautious and concerned.
"What the..." Sona muttered, seeing the now chaotic battlefield. She was now gripping her Kaleidoscope and maintained a focused expression.
Zi-O in turn would begin to raise a Ridewatch with his left hand.
THOR!
ARMOR TIME! FOR ASGARD! MIGH-TY! THOR!
Katakana based letters would suddenly erupt from his belt before it begins to form several body parts for Zi-O to attach to his armor, creating a new type of armor. Zi-O dons a new set of armor. The only changes that seem to occur in his physical appearance were that he was wearing a red cape from the back, with the pink katakana letter showing the word "Thunder!" The helmet was reminiscent of a viking with two attached wings.
"...Eh?" Rinne sported a surprised expression while Sona made a light smirk. Rinne can feel the subtle divine power that Zi-O is now using through the use of this armor. A type of armor that felt like she was in the presence of living, breathing thunder.
Zi-O would materialize a hammer that he would sway with his right hand. It would create sparks of lightning of a white-bluish nature. He narrows his eyes as he sees the angelic soldiers paying close attention to Zi-O and the two women who are beside her.
"A devil?! Impossible?! I thought that we have wiped those accursed curs several centuries ago," One angelic armored soldier spoke with disbelief, referring to Sona Sitri.
"Never mind her, but I feel a kind of divinity coming from that other woman and that armored individual," Another armored angel spoke, sporting a look of caution underneath his golden ominous eyes.
And then, with a burst of speed, he fired several zigzagging motions of thunder, firing at multiple numbers of angelic and demonic creatures that were converging on their position, wiping many of them out.
"Ehehehehehe~"
"...!"
Rinne and Sona glared at the sudden familiar grating voice while Zi-O narrowed his eyes in recognition. Standing on an abandoned vehicle was Summoner, still wearing Rinne's face.
"It seems that Armageddon just made its official landfall on this Earth. Ah, ah, the glorious chaos, it thrills my soul to see such and such," Summoner sways her body with a profound ecstasy. "Oh, I want this party to continue forward, introduce more chaos."
She would begin to summon a kind of blue magic circle with intricate calculations all randomizing from the surface. "Oh, boys, I believe that's your cue to come forth. For the glory of our Supreme Emperor and of our bountiful Empire."
And not a moment too soon...
"...!"
Rinne, Sona, and Zi-O noticed a large attack cruiser seen in the skies, having appeared so suddenly and now hovering ominously. Spanning between 1,137 and 1,155.0 meters in length, 548 meters in wingspan, and 268 meters in height, defended by powerful deflector shields and hull armor plating, while possessing an assortment of armaments. It was also equipped with a long-range sensor suite, as well as a navigation computer and corresponding systems. On the center and other parts of the cruiser, it had blue-colored designs and a blue ribbon symbol seen on the bridge.
"...Damn it," Zi-O cursed. "Neutron Destroyer."
The Neutron Destroyer. One of the more recognizable warships and attack cruisers of the Blue Ribbon Empire. It brought everyone fighting their full attention, with most widening their eyes.
"What devilry is this?" One armored angel muttered.
Multiple IS drones were now seen exiting the hulls of the ship and would join in the battle. Various blue-colored beams of light rained down from the sky, erupting in explosive droves. They were relentless and graceful, showing no mercy.
"...Hmph," But Sona was far from impressed. She only sported a look of contempt for Summoner. "Quite bold of you to summon an entire warship into this world just for the mission of capturing just one Spirit, Summoner."
By that, Sona was referring to the fact that the higher powers of the supernatural world would not take this sudden invasion lightly. The Three Factions, the Greco-Roman Pantheon, the Norse Pantheon, and others.
"Admittedly, it is rather overkill," Summoner, after dematerializing her magic circle, shrugs her shoulders, acquiescing to the reason. "But hey, that's what happens when the Spirit in question is Deus. She is the First Spirit and she is a high-priority target. Besides, even if we could not catch her, what her presence has done would only spark the interest of the sleazy old buffoons in the world, all of those so-called gods with high almighty ambitions now wanting to take a piece of my dear mother-in-law."
But then...
"?!"
Summoner grew quiet as she sees a random crack-like portal suddenly appearing at their location.
"...!"
There were three figures seen from the portal, sporting determined expressions.
"...Wait, Shidou?!" Rinne muttered.
