Brittany's Point of View

When we stepped into Radiant Gardens, Ienzo took me to meet Ansem the Wise's other apprentices. First, he introduced me to meet Dilan and Aeleus. They were outside guarding the castle, and they looked terrifying in person. "Dilan, Aeleus, this is Brittany, the girl who will be staying with us for the time being. Brittany, these are the castle guards, Dilan and Aeleus," Ienzo stated.

"Hello," I said, trying not to let fear creep into my voice.

Apparently, I failed at my attempt of subtlety because Dilan laughed. "We don't bite... much." He smirked. Aeleus remained silent. It wasn't much of a surprise, given that his title was The Silent Hero.

Ienzo and I went inside. "Did they scare you?" Ienzo wondered.

"A little. I didn't think they would look so scary. After seeing them, I'm almost too afraid to meet Even," I admitted.

Ienzo looked surprised for a few seconds and then smiled. "It will never cease to amaze me that in your world, there is a game that is about us, and you have played it."

We walked to Ansem's Study to see Even. On the way there, I noticed that a lot of the debris was gone. It had been years since the games took place, so it made sense that they had cleaned things up. I wasn't all that thrilled with seeing Even. He was essentially the mad scientist in the game, and that frightened me. When we entered the study, Even was writing in something and didn't notice us. Ienzo had to tap his shoulder to get his attention. "What is it?" Even huffed before he saw me. "Who is this?"

"Even, this is Brittany. You remember me telling you about Brittany, don't you?" Ienzo reminded him.

"Oh, that's right. Nice to meet you. I'm Even. I apologize, but I'm a little bust right now. Perhaps another time?" Even suggested and turned back to what he was writing in.

Ienzo and I left the room. "That's everyone. I'll take you to your room," Ienzo stated. He led me through the castle, a maze even in real life. Eventually, we came to what was apparently my room. It was filled with purple. Ienzo must have decorated the room with my favorite color for me.

I thought about Ansem the Wise. "Ienzo, there's something about the game that I need to tell you," I mentioned. He looked at me, eager to hear what I had to say. I was almost afraid to tell him. I knew that the information would be a shock to him and likely emotional. "Ansem the Wise isn't dead."

"What?!" He gasped.

"Ansem the Wise is in the Realm of Darkness along with a Keyblade Master named Aqua," I explained.

His face showed an expression of confusion. "Are you sure? What if the game isn't exact? What if the game is wrong? Are you positive?" Ienzo asked.

"Yeah, I'm positive," I replied.

"Brit, thank you for telling me this. I'll go tell the others. Wait here." Ienzo turned to leave.

I suddenly felt really nervous about Ienzo leaving me. "Ienzo, wait," I tried. He looked at me. "Could you stay with me for a little while?" Ienzo nodded and came back into my room.

"I'm sorry, I suppose I got a bit ahead of myself. I'll inform the others later. Of course, I'll stay here," Ienzo apologized.

"I can't say that I don't understand, I'm just- this is all so overwhelming. I'm confused, and all of this is so sudden. Why is all of this happening now?" I wondered.

Ienzo sighed. "I only know a little bit of what's going on myself. Sora only told me what was necessary. I think it would be better if Sora were to explain this to you. I can tell you one thing. By coming here, you have inserted yourself into the story. Earth is a special and separate world. By coming here, you have eliminated the possibility of hearing or seeing anything in the game again. That means that you won't be able to play Kingdom Hearts again unless your memories are locked away. That's one of the reasons Sora or Kairi didn't tell you about this. They wanted to know the links they are missing before bringing you here."

I thought about what that meant. If they hadn't found Ansem, then it would stand to reason that they hadn't found Aqua, or possibly even any of the other people that were hurting shown in Re:Coded. I was frightened by the thought of Xehanort being real. I didn't want to have to face him in any capacity. Suddenly, Even came into my room. "Ienzo, there you are! I've looked all over for you. There's something I need to go over with you," He exclaimed.

Ienzo nodded. "I'm sorry, Brit, but I do have to go now," Ienzo told me.

"I understand," I agreed. Ienzo left. It was still in the middle of the day, but the new information that I gathered was so overwhelming that I was exhausted and fell asleep.

My dad shook me a little. "Brit, wake up, honey," He said. I opened my eyes. "We have a lot to talk about, Brit, but first, there are some people you need to meet." I got out of bed, and sn older Riku and Yuffie came into the room. Riku had his hair back to the same length as Kingdom Hearts II, and Yuffie looked pretty much the same. "Brit, this is Riku and Yuffie, your real parents."

"Oh, that's nice," I yawned. It took a moment for my brain to process what he said. "Wait, what?!"

Dad looked at Riku and Yuffie. "'I told you we should have waited until she was awake enough to handle hearing it without screaming her head off," He scoffed.

"I... what?" I was utterly beside myself.

"Um, maybe you should take a walk or something, you know, get to know each other a bit," Dad suggested nervously.

"What do you think, Brittany?" Riku asked me. I didn't know how to respond. All I could do was nod my head.

"Wait! I've got a better idea. Let's take her to another world!" Yuffie exclaimed.

"I don't know. Xehanort might try to capture her," Dad brought up.

"She'll be fine. She's got The Great Ninja Yuffie to protect her," Yuffie boasted.

"We'll be careful," Riku promised.

"Alright. You guys go ahead and do that. I'll let Ienzo know where she's going," Sora sighed.

"Why tell Ienzo?" I asked.

"Because we made him promise that he would take care of you for now," Sora explained.

Well, That's that. I'm so sorry to everyone that reviewed, favorited, and followed in the last chapter. I completely forgot to mention you, so I'm doing it now. Thanks to relena soulheart, shadowmwape, digitalstorm977, and SilverBird22 for your support.

FanFictionWriter123: Yeah, I know it's totally unexpected for Xehanort to be Alison's father, but that's what I decided to do. Also, Namine is not dead. It's just that Xehanort doesn't know that.

digitalstorm977: I'm glad you like this fanfiction. I hope you continue to like it.

unicron1000: Thank you for your review. It was probably the shortest review I've ever got, but I'll take what I can get.

1/8/2022: I have edited this chapter. This is the most I've done to fix one of my chapters so far. I changed a bit to make it a little more realistic. Nevertheless, it does not have any impact on the plot. I also noticed a lot of grammatical errors in this chapter. I have a long way to go to edit all of these chapters, but I'll do my best.
