Alison's Point of View
Saix took me to Twilight Town to help me calm down. He bought some sea salt ice cream and took it to the Clock Tower. I hadn't realized that he had known about the Clock Tower, but clearly, he did. "Here," He said, handing me a sea salt ice cream bar.
I took it. "Thank you." I took a bite out of it and smiled at the comforting salty-sweet flavor. It was better than I imagined it would be.
"Axel and I used to come here and do this before Roxas existed," Saix mentioned.
"So... Do you miss him?" I wondered.
He was silent for the next few moments, and I was afraid he wouldn't answer me, but then he spoke. "Yes... Very much so. I wish that things could have been different. That I wasn't chosen to be like this. I didn't have a choice, but I will tell you that you do. Your sisters probably miss you very much right now. If you want, I might be able to help you with seeing them," Saix suggested.
"How? Sora wants to take my memory, and I don't know where Brittany or Molly are. Unless you know something I don't," I huffed.
"No. Tell me, Alison. If you could switch sides, would you?" Saix asked.
The question surprised me. I hadn't expected a question of that sort from Saix of all people.
"Maybe. I don't know. Everything happened so suddenly. I'm not sure who's right or wrong anymore. I think... if I could help Brittany, I would. Molly, too. They both mean a lot to me. That doesn't mean that I would side with Sora, though. He's pretty set on erasing my memories. I thought he and Kairi cared about me, maybe even loved me, but all that has been a lie. It was all just to get back at my father or some messed up thing like that," I replied.
"And you think your father is any better?" Saix questioned.
"Yes. No. I don't know anymore. None of this makes sense," I groaned.
"You're fully aware of the kind of person he is, yes? I'm assuming that much was portrayed in what you know of us," Saix brought up.
"Yeah. He's the bad guy. But Sora is supposed to be the good guy. I don't understand how I can believe that Sora is good after all of that. If Sora is bad, then can't my dad be good?" I pointed out.
"Perhaps, but it is not in his nature. This is all likely his attempt to manipulate you. I'm aware that Sora has made some questionable decisions lately, but it's only in an effort to counter a greater evil," Saix commented.
I pondered what he said. It made so much sense, yet there was still one thing out of place. "Why are you telling me this? Aren't you supposed to be on Xehanort's side? This doesn't sound like something he would want me to hear."
"It is true. He would be completely opposed to me telling you this. That is why I request that this conversation remain a secret between us. If you can do that, I have an offer for you," Saix said.
"I promise. I know he's not the most trustworthy person. I guess I was just blinded by Sora and Kairi lying to me about something as huge as this," I agreed.
"Good. My proposal is this. Help me pass along information to those who want to take down Xehanort," Saix requested.
"So, like, help them defeat my father? I don't know. I know he's done some things that are seriously messed up, but from what I've gathered, he is my father. How can I do that to him?" I shuddered.
"I had hoped you would see it that way. You will be a valuable asset to our cause. All I need is for you to be an extra pair of eyes and ears. When the time comes, I'll take you to meet with the person I deliver any important information to," Saix explained.
"Do you suppose there's any possibility that I will see my sisters?" I wondered.
"Do your job, and I'll see what I can do," Saix answered.
So Saix is a spy! Who was expecting that? Thank you, FanFictionWriter123 and v.t.7, for your reviews.
