Brittany's Point of View

When I woke up, I was in my bed. "Was it all a dream?" I muttered.

"It wasn't," Dad replied. I jolted in surprise as I hadn't known he was in my room. "Brittany, I don't know how things were when you were on Earth, but you can't just run off wherever with whoever you want. You don't know this place, and you don't know these people. You don't leave the castle unless you have my permission. Do you understand?"

I remembered why I had run off in the first place, and my mood turned sour. "Did you know?" I asked.

"What?" Dad asked.

"Alison! That she's being held by the Organization! Did you know?" I growled.

"Brittany, calm down," Dad ordered.

"Don't tell me to calm down! My sister is with thirteen lowlifes being forced to do who knows what!" I snapped.

"Listen. Yes, I knew. We're handling it," Dad tried to reassure me.

"We? As in, you and Sora? I wonder what else he's been hiding from me!"

"You just got here. There are some things you aren't ready for yet," Dad defended. I got out of bed, shoved him away from the doorway, and walked out. He grabbed my arm and held it tight. "Where do you think you're going."

I tried getting my arm away, but it was no use. My father's grip was strong. I felt an anger surge through me and come out to encase his arm that gripped me. I looked and realized that I was controlling darkness. Dad groaned in pain and let go of my arm.

"What- What did I just do?!" I gasped. I stared at my hands as though they would start attacking me.

"Baby, it's okay. I know you're scared. It was just part of your powers. You'll learn to have better control over them. Let's start by taking a moment to calm down and then work from there," Dad suggested.

I was too far gone to listen. "I can't believe you," I hissed.

I ran through the halls and made my way to the exit, where Master Xehanort awaited me. I summoned my keyblade as he approached.

"Put that away, young one. We both know how a battle would end. Have you thought about my proposition? Things seemed to get rather heated in there between you and Riku. I can't imagine you would like to stay here with someone like him. Someone who wouldn't tell you that your own sister was with the Organization. There's so much more that you do not know. I can help you if you'll allow it. Come with me. I'll take you to your sister. Isn't that what you want most?"

My keyblade vanished along with my resolve. "You'll really let me see Aly?"

Xehanort reached his hand toward me. "Yes, child. All you need to do is come with me."

I took his hand. "I accept."
