Brittany's Point of View
"Brittany. Hey, Brit." A voice said softly. I opened my eyes. Sora was there hovering over me. "We're here. You need to get up." He continued. I groan as I put a pillow over my head. "Brittany, I'm not playing that game today. Get up." He said a lot sterner. He snatced the pillow and the blanket away. I took another pillow and hit him with it. He hit me with the pillow he took from me. This continued until Kairi came in the room.
"Quit goofing off you two. We're waiting on you." She ordered. "Alright miss bossy." Sora scoffed. Kairi gave him one of her famous glares. "I mean whatever you say Hon." He corrected. I pulled out the wayfinder that Kairi gave me from my pocket. "You probably want this back, huh? I know it means a lot to you. Maybe someday you'll give it to Molly to keep it in the family. Like a family heirloom or something." I suggested. Instead of taking it back, Kairi hugged me.
"I gave it to family." She stated. I think she was crying in that moment. "Brittany, you'll always be family to us. A lot of of things in your life were lies, but our love for you and Alison wasn't one of them." Sora reassured me. "We're so proud of you Brittany." Kairi said, letting go of me and wiping her tears away. "Thanks. I love you guys too." I smiled. I love them as if they really are my parents. They mean so much to me.
We went out to the teleporter. Riku and Yuffie were already there. I went through last. I took one last glance of the gummi ship before leaving.
Just so you guys know, the next chapter is also going to be a Brittany chapter. I'm just ending this one here because it feels right.
