Molly's Point of View
I was laying in bed, sore from todays training. My muscles hurt. To make it worse, Aly's leaving tomorrow. I want Mommy and Daddy. I wonder if I should call them. Aly bought me a phone when she was on Earth so that I could call Mommy and Daddy whenever I like. If there was ever a day to call them, I suppose this would be it. I grabbed my phone and called Daddy.
"Hey, Butterfly." Daddy greeted. "Daddy! I miss you so much. My arms and legs hurt from training and Aly's going to leave me tomorrow and I just want to go home!" I cried. "Hey, it won't be that bad. You still have Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. You always liked them from Brittany's video game, didn't you?" Daddy asked. "I guess so, but I still want to go home." I grumbled. "Tell you what? You find Master Eraqus and give him the phone, and I'll see if your mother and I can come over tomorrow." Daddy offered. "Okay!" I exclaimed excitedly. I ran through the castle, looking for Master Eraqus. Soon after, I literally bumped into him because I wasn't looking where I was going. He looked down at me.
"Molly, what are you doing up? I thought you were already in bed." He asked. "Sorry Master, but Daddy wants to talk to you." I said excitedly as I gave him the phone. He took it and started talking to Daddy. As he was talking, he picked me up and carried me back to my room. Instead of listening to what he was saying, I talked with Light.
'It will be so nice if your father does come.' Yeah. Daddy is super awesome. You know, he saved lots of worlds. When I grow up, I want to be just like him. 'You know what I want you to be when you grow up?' Are you seriously planning my life?! 'Ha ha. No. Here's what I want you to be when you grow up. Just like you.' Just like me. So that means I can be whatever I want?! 'Within reason. You're not going to be a Seeker of Darkness.' Come on. I'm not that dumb. 'I would hope not. You're special Molly. You know that, right.' Of course I do.
Master Eraqus finished talking to Daddy, just as he was tucking me in. He turned the phone off and set it on my dresser.
"Your parents will be coming tomorrow before Alison leaves. I want you to wake up extra early tomorrow so that we can get some training done before they come." Master Eraqus said. "Training?" I groaned. "Yes. Also, I don't want you to call your parents after you're supposed to be in bed again. You should be asleep right now." He scolded. "But then I wouldn't be able to call them at all! I train, and eat dinner, and go to bed!" I exclaimed worriedly. "Training wouldn't take so long if you would pay attention." Master Eraqus sighed. "But- but..." I trailed off. "If you don't pay attention so that you get your training done at a decent time, you won't be able to call your sisters or your parents. That's final." Master Eraqus insisted. Light took me over.
When I opened my eyes in my heart, Light was crying. "What's wrong?" I wondered. She grabbed me and held me tight. I held still and waited for her to stop crying. Mommy always says that I make a good teddy bear, and teddy bears don't move. Finally, Light took control of her eyes and spoke.
"My dear little Molly, I hope that you are able to stay a child for a long time and not be forced into growing up. I fear that you won't be able to stay a child much longer here." She sobbed. "What does that mean?" I asked. "Don't ever forget how much your parents love and care for you. I fear that once you have proven yourself to be sufficient, your training will increase so that you won't have any time to yourself." Light said. "You mean... I won't be able to talk to my parents and sisters on the phone?" I gasped. "We shall see, my beautiful child of light. Time will only tell. I am speaking with Eraqus right now. I am sorry for taking your body. I became very concerned with what Eraqus was saying because I know how he thinks, unless he's changed." Light apologized. "That's okay. My body is your body. Mommy always says for me to share. You also are better at making good decisions than me. Maybe you should take over my body forever so that all of my bad choices won't hurt anyone." I suggested. "Molly, don't say such things! The world needs you because you are Molly. Not because you are a host for Light. Not because you have a keyblade. You must be you." Light sighed. "Okay." I groaned. "Go to sleep now. Goodnight. I love you Molly." Light said, kissing me on the cheek. "Goodnight. I love you too." I said kissing her on the cheek back. I went to sleep.
I finally did a Molly chapter. It was overdue, but Brittany and Alison are more interesting right now. Hope you liked it.
