Brittany's Point of View
Now is the time for the tourney game. I'm in a crowd full of tourney fans. Sports usually aren't really my thing, but I have to cheer Jay and Carlos on. The announcer is saying a bunch of things, but I'm not listening. My eyes are on one thing and one thing only. Jay. He's so amazing. It looks like he's working with Ben to score a point or some points or however this game is played. My eyes go from Jay to Carlos. He's not athletic. He's not handsome. Not even cute. But there's something about him... I wonder what it is. He's not like Jay, but... I don't know. Maybe it's my imagination, but he's great in his own way. It looks like they were able to score a goal. I hope we win. Evie seems really excited. Even Mal is smiling. They're going for one more point. It looks like Jay is using a lot of teamwork to win. That doesn't seem like him. Interesting. Ben scored the winning goal. There are screams everywhere. Mal and I cover our ears. Too much noise. I see Evie jumping up and down. The announcer was saying a bunch of stuff that I wasn't paying any attention to when Ben stole the microphone.
"Excuse me! Excuse me, can I have your attention please?" He asked. Everyone stopped cheering and stared at him.
"There's something I'd like to say!" He paused for dramatic effect. "Give me an M" He called out, shaping an M with his arms. "M!" Everyone shouted, doing the same. "Give me an A!" He shouted, dropping his hands to his sides. "A!" Everyone shouted, doing the same as Ben once again. "Give me an L!" Ben finished, forming his hand into an L. The crowd shouted L and followed suit once more.
"What does that spell?!" He shouted. So that's what he's doing. "Mal!" Everyone in the crowd shouted. "Come on, I can't hear you!" Ben urged. "Mal!" The crowd repeated even louder than the first time. "I love you Mal! Did I mention that?" Ben asked. The crowd erupted into cheers. Audrey ran off the field.
"Give me a beat!" Ben shouted. "Uno, dos, tres, quatro!" Doug counted. The band started playing. Song time! Yes!
"What was in that cookie?" Mal asked. Evie was laughing. I started moving to the music, smiling happily. I love Disney songs! I love it how they randomly break out into song! Best day ever! Ben started singing.
"Did I mention that I'm in love with you
And did I mention there's nothing I can't do
And did I happen to say
I dream of you every day
Well let me"
And in a split second, I knew the next words. It was like they came to me. Everyone in the crowd sang at the same time,
shout it out loud"
Now it's just back to Ben,
"if that's okay"
Now the crowd went,
"Hey!"
And Ben sang,
"If that's okay"
Then we said,
"Hey!"
And then Ben went,
"I met this girl who rocked my world like it's never been rocked
And now I'm living just for her and I won't let it stop
I never thought that it could happen to a guy like me
And now I look at what you've done you've got me down on my knees
Because my love for you is ridiculous
I never knew"
Now the tourney boys sang,
"Who knew"
And now it was back to Ben,
"That it could be like this
My love for you is"
Everyone including Ben sang,
"Ridiculous"
Now it was just Ben again,
"My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S"
The crowd repeated,
"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S"
Then Ben went,
"It's"
And the crowd said,
"Ridiculous"
Then Ben was like,
"Just"
And the crowd repeated,
"Ridiculous"
And then it was back to Ben,
"And I would give my kingdom for just one kiss
Well did I mention that I'm in love with you
And did I mention there's nothing I can't do
And did I happen to say I dream of you every day
Well let me"
Everyone including Ben sang,
"Shout it out loud"
And then just Ben,
"If that's okay
If that's okay"
The crowd shouted,
"Hey"
Now it was Ben's turn,
"I gotta know which way to go come on give me a sign
You gotta show me that you're only ever gonna be mine
Don't wanna go another minute living without you
Cause if your heart just isn't in it I don't know what I'd do

Now it's time for everyone including Ben,
"Ridicuous"
Now just Ben,
"I never knew"
Everyone except Ben,
"Who knew"
Back to Ben,
"That it could be like this

Everyone including Ben,
"Ridiculous"
Just Ben sang,
"My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S"
The crowd repeated,
"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S"
Ben sang,
"It's"
The crowd went,
"Ridiculous"
Ben was all like,
"Just"
The crowd continued.
"Ridiculous"
Ben went on,
"And I would give my kingdom for just one kiss
Come on now
Oh yeah
Yow
All right"
Ben took his shirt off and threw it at Mal (He was wearing protection underneath his uniform. Otherwise I would've had some issues. This is Disney after all.) The crowd shouted,
"Hey"
Ben went,
"All right"
The crowd went back to,
"Hey"
Ben went on,
"Because my love for you is"
The crowd and Ben went,
"Ridiculous"
Ben continued by himself,
"I never knew"
The crowd asked,
"Who knew"
Back to Ben,
"That it could be like this
My love for you is"
Ben and the crowd,
"Ridiculous"
Just Ben,
"My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S"
The crowd goes,
"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S"
Ben's like,
"It's"
The crowd continues,
"Ridiculous"
Ben goes,
"Just"
The crowd sings,
"Ridiculous"
Ben goes,
"And I would give my kingdom for just one kiss
Come on now"
Ben had ended up right in front of Mal. He puts his arm around Mal.
"I love you Mal. Did I mention that?" He asked. Audrey stole the microphone from him.
"Chad's my boyfriend now." Audrey announced. "Hey!" Chad cheered. "And I'm going to the coronation with him. So I don't need your pity date." Audrey huffed. She kissed Chad on the lips and Ben stole the microphone back from Audrey.
"Mal, will you go to the coronation with me?" He asked. "Yes!" She answered. "She said yes!" Ben shouted excitedly. The crowd cheered. Ben was dragged away by Jay. If this is what tourney games are like, I should come more often.
