It was just another day at Beacon Academy, the prestigious school for future huntsman.

Well.. it would be a normal day except that most of the student body was leaving Beacon Academy for a few weeks as it was the end of the semester. Most of the students we're heading home, or some are going to stay at a friend's house, or visiting people that they were close to.

The docking bay was full of airships ready to take the students to their designated locations, with some students going the extra mile to pay for private airships to take them to their destinations right away.

Some chose to stay behind as they didn't want to go home, had plans at Beacon, or they wanted to catch up on classes that they need to catch up on.

That was exactly the case for first year student Jaune Arc, team leader of team JNPR.

Currently the seventeen year old blonde was sitting in his dorm room as his fellow teammates of team JNPR, who were getting ready to leave for their intended destinations for the next couple weeks.

"You sure you don't want to come with me, Jaune? My mom says you're more than welcome to join us in Argus."said Pyrrha, Jaune's partner and the strongest member of team JNPR.

"I'm sure. I have a sister who lives in Argus and I don't really want to run into her right now."said Jaune, referring to his sister Saffron.

It wasn't that he hated his sister, quite the opposite. But considering his family situation, what with him running away with the family heirloom to go to Beacon Academy and all that, he thought it was better to stay away from family for a while until the heat dies down at the main Arc household.

"... I understand..."said Pyrrha with a disappointed look.

She was the only person at Beacon who knew about her partner's situation with his family. She knew he faked his transcripts to get into Beacon cuz he told her. It took some time for her to accept it, but she eventually understood that his heart was in the right place and circumstances beyond him preventing him from getting in the proper way. Still, she was upset that he didn't want to go with her as she kind of wanted introduce him to her mom... for reasons she will not specify...

"Jaune-Jaune! You sure you're going to be okay by yourself?"questions Nora, the hammer wielding berserker of team JNPR.

"I'm sure. You and Ren are going to go visit some people who are very important to you, right."said Jaune, who knew that Ren and Nora weren't going to go visit their parents as they had no parents; they were orphans.

He remembered Ren telling him that he and Nora were going to be visiting some people who took them in when they were younger..He said that he considered these people family and that they were looking forward to hearing all of the stories of Ren and Nora's Adventures at Beacon.

"Nora, it's his choice and we got to respect it."said Ren, standing up for his male friend.

"I know, but it's going to be lonely being here since most of the student body and the professors are leaving."said Nora, feeling bad for her fearless leader, as it must be lonely being here by himself.

"That's not true. I heard from Ruby that Blake is staying behind."said Jaune, who knew that the mysterious member of team RWBY was also staying at Beacon.

"No offense, but you and Blake have never really talked to one another much. Other then hello and bye here and there, have you two ever had a proper conversation?"asked Ren, as he can remember Jaune or Blake had a proper conversation, ever.

"Blake is more of the silent type, and I'm not really a close enough friend for her to fully trust me yet. I'm just an acquaintance friend. Who knows, maybe this will be an opportunity for me and her to get closer."said Jaune, not noticing that Pyrrha was giving him a weird look.

"Yeah...Closer..."said Pyrrha, who had a look of a girl who was a little jealous.

Nora noticed this look and giggled, as she and Ren, along with everyone besides Ruby, Weiss, and of course Jaune knew that she had a crush on The Dork Knight.

Jaune was the first person to ever treat Pyrrha like a regular girl despite her status, and with them secretly training and her seeing his honest dedication to becoming a huntsman, Pyrrha developed a crush on him. Jaune of course was completely oblivious to this as Pyrrha was not the type to express her feelings openly, especially when Jaune has shown interest in Weiss, instead of her.

"Don't worry Pyrrha. I'm sure things are going to be fine."said Nora, before punching the girl in question in the arm.

"Yes, why wouldn't things be fine."said Pyrrha, who had a feeling that Nora would be teasing her about that sooner or later.

"Nora. We have to get going, or we're going to miss our flight to Mistral."said Ren, reminding his childhood friend that they had to get going by showing her his scroll that had the time.

"Okay! See you in a few weeks, Jaune-Jaune! Try to be on your best behavior and don't even think about doing anything inappropriate to Blake."said Nora with a Cheshire smile, causing her team leader to begin blushing a bright red color around his cheeks.

"Nora!"said an embarrassed Jaune."I don't think of Blake like that! I mean sure she's beautiful, but there's no way she'll give a guy like me the time of day! Besides there's no way I would do anything inappropriate at school! Professor Goodwitch is staying behind and I do not want to get on her bad side!"

"Hehehe."said Nora, before Ren karate chopped her in the head."Owie."

"Nora, that's enough teasing for one day. We have to get going."said Ren, who got annoyed whenever Nora played her little mind games with her more easily manipulated friends.

He knew that Jaune would be embarrassed that any implication that he would do anything inappropriate to a beautiful girl. And Pyrrha now had a nervous expression on her face. Nora installed the idea that Jaune might do something to Blake in her head. He knew his friend would never do anything inappropriate to Blake, as they were just friends. But that wouldn't stop the invincible girl from worrying.

"Sorry Jaune. Sorry Pyrrha. I guess I went a little overboard."said Nora, well holding her index finger and thumb close together to indicate her point.

"I don't know why you're apologizing to me?"said Pyrrha, even though she fully understood why Nora was apologizing.

After all, she did make the mistake of telling Nora that she had a crush on Jaune. Now the orange-haired berserker makes it her mission to tease the invincible girl at times, for her own amusement.

"Pyrrha, you have to get going or you're going to miss your flight."said Jaune, who checked the time and realize that his partner was going to be late if she didn't hoof it.

"Yoru right!"said Pyrrha as she checked the time."I'll see you in a few weeks Jaune, try to be on your best behavior...So that you don't besmirch the name of team JNPR."

With that Pyrrha gave all of her friends a quick hug, before she ran out of the room as fast as her legs could take her. She hasn't seen her mom in quite some time and really wanted to catch up with the people she knew in Argus. She also wanted to tell her mom about a boy she was interested in at school, and how he treated her like the normal girl she's always wanted to be treated as.

"Well, let's get going Nora."said Ren, before Nora gave him Jaune a crushing bear hug to say goodbye.

"Oh, try to be on your best behavior, fearless leader."said Nora, before she let go of both boys, as Jaune was tapping out in a way to indicate for her to let him go.

"Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha...Ha...How do you handle that?"asked Jaune as he was trying to catch his breath, as Nora's bear hugs always make him feel like he's being crushed by a vice!

"Ha...you get used to it over time... eventually."said Ren, who was also trying to catch his breath as getting used to his childhood friend's bear hug was a process that takes years.

"Hehe."said Nora, before she grabbed Ren and literally ran out of the room, pulling him by the arm as she did so.

"Nora, I can walk!"shouted Ren, but he's pleas fell on deaf ears.

Jaune smiled as he watched his two friends leave to go stay with some people who took care of them when they were younger. He knew Ren and Nora had feelings for each other as it was obvious. He also wondered why they wouldn't fess up to one another as it was clear they were very attracted to one another. Maybe they were both scared that if they take the extra step, it would ruin their friendship. Little did he realize that even though he could realize other people's crushes, he failed to notice when someone had a crush on him...

"Yang! I can walk!"said the familiar voice of Ruby Rose, Jaune's best friend and leader of team RWBY.

As soon as he heard Ruby's voice, Jaune exited his dorm room to investigate what was going on with his unofficial sister team across the hall. There he saw the dorm room that led to team RWBY's room open. Now, Jaune was a gentleman and decided to knock, as he didn't want to accidentally walk in on team RWBY changing as he knew the consequences if he did that.

Growing up with seven sisters will teach you not to go into a girl's room without knocking... otherwise you could see something that will earn you their wrath!

"Come in."said Yang's voice, causing Jaune to step in to see what was certainly a crazy event going on in the room.

Yang was currently packing her stuff it with her right arm, while using her left arm to carry Ruby around like a rag doll. Ruby of course was yelling at her sister over and over again to let her down, but her yelling fell on deaf ears.

Weiss meanwhile was ignoring the two sisters as she was packing her stuff into what appeared to be a metal suitcase. Blake, being the only member of team RWBY just stay behind, was just sitting on her bed reading a book... title ninjas of love...

"Jaune, help me!"shouted Ruby, calling for her best friend to help her, as soon as she noticed him.

"What's going on?"questions Jaune, wanting to know why Yang was carrying Ruby around.

"Ruby went to the cafeteria last night to raid its entire stock of chocolate chip cookies. So I'm punishing her by carrying her around until we leave."said Yang, revealing the reason why she was carrying Ruby.

"I told you I didn't raid the cafeteria for cookies!"said Ruby in her own defense..

"Ruby... you literally have cookie crumbs around your lips."said Jaune, noticing cookie crumbs on his best friend's lips.

"Dang it!"said Ruby, who forgot to wipe her lips.

"See! Now just be a good little sister and stay here until your big sis is finished packing our stuff."said Yang, before she squeezed Ruby tighter.

"Please stop..."said Ruby, who hated being treated like a little kid by her sister.

"Weiss, what about you?"asked Jaune, wanting to know where Weiss was going for the break.

"I don't believe that's any of your business."said Weiss coldly.

"And you wonder why they call you the Ice Queen."said Ruby, reminding her bestie that she promised to be nice to Jaune.

"Fine... if you not know I'm going home, otherwise I don't get my allowance."said Weiss, revealing that her father was sort of making her go home.

Otherwise he would financially cut her off.

"Ohhhh..said Jaune, sympathizing with Weiss, as he understood what it meant to have overbearing parents.

"Don't act like you have sympathy for me. I get enough of that from Ruby and Yang."said Weiss, once again living up to her nickname, Ice Queen.

"Ow..."said Jaune, as that statement really hurt.

Unlike the assumption Weiss believes of him, Jaune was not attracted to her solely for her family name. He found himself generally attracted to her because she was beautiful, but he was slowly starting to realize that she did not feel the same.

"Was that really necessary, Ice Queen?"asked Yang, feeling like vomit boy did not deserve that.

"I'm just going through a lot of emotions right now,...so give me a break!"said Weiss, who was not very fond of her father.

It was because she resents her father so much that she tended to lash out at people who didn't deserve it, like Jaune Arc, or the Faunus... until recently...

"So, what are your plans, you two?"inquired Jaune, figuring that Ruby and Yang are going to the same place as they are sisters after all.

"We're going back to Patch to stay with Dad. Ruby wants to go see our family dog Zwei, and Dad promised to show me a bit of his moves back from his huntsman days. So yeah... plus Dad practically begged us to come back home, so I have no choice but to do it, as I did promise him."said Yang, trying to act tough.

"Just tell him that you're home sick and you're worried about Dad."said Ruby, as it was pretty obvious that Yang was being a tsundere right now.

"Sh-Shut up!"said Yang, earning her a raspberry from her sister.

"Why you!"said the blonde girl, before she pressed her little sister against her chest.

"Yang, I can't breathe!"set Ruby, as Yang's... assets were getting in her way.

"You two are as close as ever."said Jaune, who kind of wishes he had a close sibling bond to one of his siblings.

But he and his sisters were always interested in different things... and with the age difference it made it hard to get along with one another.

"I'm sure you'll find common ground with your sisters one day, Jaune."said Ruby, after she finally managed to pry her face off of Yang's chest.

"Yeah! I'm sure your sisters care for you since you're the youngest and their family."said Yang, knowing that big sisters always cared about their younger siblings.

"They used me like a dress up doll."said Jaune, remembering the dark days when his sisters would dress him up like a little doll and braid his hair.

That is one of the many reasons why he chooses not to have a wolf tail, despite the fact he thinks he would look really good having one.

"Ah, that's so cute."said Yang, remember when time she would braid Ruby's hair and dress her up like a little doll.

"I know your pain, Jaune. Believe me, I do."said Ruby, remembering the times Ruby would be treated like a little doll by her big sister.

"By older sister never did that to me... she just braided my hair."said Weiss, who wishes she could see her big sister, Winter.

But because she's a high-ranking member of the Atlas military, she's rarely at home. It also doesn't help that Winter resents her father as well, and that she literally joined the military just to get away from him.

"You miss your big sister, don't you Weiss."said Jaune, noticing a sad look on the heiress' face.

"Shut up! It's none of your business."said Weiss, who looked embarrassed.

"Looks like we're in the presence of a tsundere."said Yang with a Sly smile.

"Yang, one more word out of you and I'll tell Ruby what you did the other day."said Weiss, causing the color to drain from the blonde's face.

"What did Yang do?"inquired Ruby, before Yang pressed her against her chest again.

"None of your business."said Yang, as she couldn't let Ruby know that she ate that special cookie that Ruby had saved for later; from that popular bakery that only makes a dozen of that specific cookie a day.

"Well it looks like you guys are busy."said Jaune, who is filling awkward now as seeing a girl being pushed into another girl's chest was making him feel weird.

"We are about to leave anyway. Now don't you do anything inappropriate to Blake while we're gone."said Yang, making Jaune blush.

"Why does everyone keep saying that! I would never do anything inappropriate to Blake! Right, Blake?"said Jaune to the girl who had been silent the whole time.

"Right,"simply replied Blake.

"See."said Jaune, glad that Blake understands.

"She's just teasing you, Jaune. We know you would never do anything inappropriate to Blake."said Ruby, finally managing to get away from Yang."Your too much of a gentleman for that."

"Thanks Ruby, I really appreciate it."said Jaune, who was glad that his best friend had his back.

"Yeah yeah, but seriously, don't try anything with Blake even though you two are practically be alone together in this huge school all by yourselves."said Yang, making Blake roll her eyes.

"Jaune won't try anything on me. Now will you guys leave already. I'm trying to read my book."said Blake, who hasn't been able to concentrate on reading with all the commotion going on.

"What's it about?"wondered Ruby.

"When you're older."said Yang, who didn't want Ruby to be corrupted by the books Blake reads.

"Yang, I'm fifteen!"argued Ruby, wanting to know why Yang always treats her like she's too young to know about stuff like that.

"You will remain innocent until I say so."said Yang, before she grabbed the bag full of her and Ruby stuff, grab Ruby, and made their way out the door.

"See you in a few weeks, Jaune!"said Ruby, before she went back to telling Yang to let her down.

"I must get going as well. I don't want to miss my flight."said Weiss, before she excused herself out of the room.

"... I'm just going to go to, since our friends have made things awkward between us."said Jaune, who didn't want to be in the room alone with a beautiful girl right now.

"Tell me about it."said Blake, who didn't even look at Jaune, as she was too busy reading.

"Okay then."said Jaune, before he left the dorm room as he didn't want to stay any longer.

And Blake clearly didn't want him there anymore.

'Okay Jaune, you have the next three weeks to yourself! I'm sure nothing interesting will happen, but in the meantime you can improve your skills with a sword with the self-help videos Pyrrha made for me. I really have friends that are too good for me. Okay, now let's go get some breakfast! Everyone is gone and I'm pretty sure the good stuff is going to be served.' thought Jaune, who was optimistic about the next couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, far above the surface of Remnant, two creatures were in a heated battle.

The first creature is a dark-blue, sauropod-like creature with some gray metallic portions and light blue stripes. It has a chest plate on its torso, which has a deep blue diamond-like crystal embedded in the center. Dialga has a fin-like structure on its back, three spines on the back of its neck, and a crest on its head, resembling a dinosaur. It also has two structures on the sides of its head that extend outward and resemble horns and fangs. It has three claws on each foot, of the same metallic look as its chest plate. Faint cracks exist across its body.

The second creature is a light-purple, theropod-like creature with stripes and markings of a darker shade and gray underarms and waist. It has round purple-striped plates on its shoulder area, where two pink pearl-like crystals lie encrusted with a gray rim encircling them, and fin-like wings on its back. Palkia's arms have extended formations resembling gauntlets and a purple band around each wrist. Palkia has a long neck that is normally bent, a pointed white crest on the top of its head that extends to its wings, two strong horn-like tusks on the sides of its jaw, and a powerful looking tail.

These creatures are the Dialga and Palkia, the legendary Pokemon from Earth that control the forces of time and space! Currently the two legendary Pokemon were in a heated battle, as one had entered the others territory without permission!

Neither would listen to reason as they blasted each other with their respective attacks!

Both unwilling to compromise as they wanted to prove who was superior!

And soon their clash would change the fate of a young man, for better or worse!
