Brittany's Point of View
I went with Kai, Jim, and Melody to a coffee shop off the campus. I struggled to hold in my excitement as we were drinking our coffee. I couldn't believe that I was sitting with Jim and Melody, drinking coffee. "Kai told us a lot about you," Melody mentioned.
"He did? What did he say?" I questioned.
"Only what I remembered about you. Aly too. How's she doing, by the way?" Kai wondered.
"She was doing good the last time I saw her. I believe that was back on Thanksgiving," I replied.
"Dad said that she'll be here for Family Day. We'll see her then. My parents and Molly will be here too. I'm excited to meet my baby sister," Kai commented.
I felt a pang of jealousy. Molly was my baby sister, and I didn't like a stranger calling her his baby sister. "Molly is a real sweetheart. We're very close. In fact, we still consider each other sisters even though we aren't technically related by blood," I mentioned.
"Do you think she'll like me?" Kai shuddered.
"Of course she'll like you. You're her older brother," Melody assured him.
"It doesn't matter if she likes you or not. She's your sister. You're family," Jim added.
"Yeah. Family..." Kai sighed.
"I know what will cheer you up!" Melody smiled.
"We can't do that again. We almost got expelled last time," Kai groaned.
"It was worth it," Jim smirked.
"Yeah, sure." Kai rolled his eyes.
"What was worth it?" I piped up.
"Jim made us solar surfers. We raced around the school and got into a lot of trouble for it. Solar surfers are banned in Auradon for safety reasons," Kai explained.
"Solar surfers?! Like the hoverboard with the sail from the movie?!" I blurted out.
"Movie? What movie?" Melody asked.
"Hey, shouldn't we be getting back? It's getting late, and I don't want to break curfew," Kai brought up.
"Whatever, man. You always follow the rules." Jim chuckled.
"Except when you talk me into breaking them." Kai laughed.
"I don't talk you into anything. I do, and you follow," Jim teased.
"Kai is right, though. Let's get going," Melody urged.
Hello everyone. I know that it has been a long while. I wasn't sure if I was going to continue this or not.
When I started this, I was a young teenager. Now that I'm an adult, I'm considering editing previous chapters. I wouldn't change any plot; however, I would fix writing errors and some dialogue to make this easier to read. I will write at the end of the chapter when it has been edited and notify you at the end of any future chapters that I post, which have been updated.
