Alison's Point of View

Soon after Lucy went home, Ienzo came to my room with a large book and handed it to me. "What's this?" I wondered.

"It was a diary I kept starting the day Sora asked me to start coming with him to see you and your sisters. I thought reading it might interest you," Ienzo commented.

"Are you sure? That sounds pretty private," I checked.

"I don't keep secrets from you anymore. There isn't anything in there that I wouldn't want you reading," Ienzo replied.

"Wow. Thanks. I can't wait to read it," I smiled.

"Then I won't keep you. I'll come to check on you in a bit," Ienzo said before leaving the room. I opened the book and started reading, flipping through to some of the pages about myself, Brittany, and Molly. I didn't read every entry, but whenever something caught my eye, I stopped on it.

Sora had quite an interesting proposal for me. He recently sealed away Alison's and Brittany's powers and memories as they have become more destructive lately. In doing so, they also discovered that there is a video game containing the events of Sora's adventures that Brittany is quite taken with. It seems as though the only way of being able to play this video game is through being unaware that the events contained in the game actually happened. To preserve this unawareness, Sora asked me to conceal his identity through an illusion I would place over him every time he visits his home on Earth.

I have considered this proposal and am strongly considering accepting it. I am quite curious. If I can gather data, it may prove useful in my and Even's research.

I was introduced to the girls today. I feel for them. They didn't recognize Sora and were confused. Kairi kept telling them that he was their father, and they seemed to believe it at some point. I was heartbroken to see them like that. It reminded me of Roxas when he joined the Organization. I was told he became more aware as time passed, but he was quite confused when I was alive as Zexion.

While Sora was somewhat oblivious, Kairi looked like she had her hands full with keeping an eye on Brittany and Alison while trying to stop baby Molly from crying. Though I don't have much experience with children, I asked Kairi if there was anything I could do to help. She asked if I could preoccupy Brittany and Alison while she tended to Molly. While it took some time to come up with an activity that both girls would agree upon, we eventually settled on building a fort.

Molly was put down for a nap by the time we finished, so Kairi could resume watching Brittany and Alison. She seemed to be doing quite a bit better. Strangely, I found myself wanting to spend more time with the girls. I never knew I liked children. I had never been around a child long enough to be able to tell if I liked them or not. I think I'll have Brittany and Alison make breakfast with me tomorrow.

Molly is crawling now. It's a recent development. Sora is overjoyed, though Kairi is fit to be tied with all the running around she needs to do to make sure Molly isn't getting into mischief.

Alison and Brittany almost seem to be fighting for their parents' attention. They were trying to show Sora their accomplishments all morning, and though he saw, they knew his attention was hardly on them. Later that day, they began fighting each other. It reminded me of when I was a young boy, and I would wander off so that Even would be forced to pay attention to me.

I want to explain to Sora that he needs to pay more attention to Brittany and Alison, but it's not my place. I did try to do things with the girls, though. After a long timeout from Brittany and Alison's fight, I had them teach me how to play a card game called UNO. Both the girls played with me, though Brittany enjoyed it much more than Alison. I didn't worry about Alison's lack of interest too much because I'll focus on her during breakfast. She greatly enjoys waking up and making breakfast with me in the mornings.

I wanted to see something more recent, so I flipped farther back in the pages until a name caught my eye. Lucy. Curious, I read the entry.

I had no idea that today would bring such an unlikely outcome. Braig's oldest daughter, Lucy, came to the castle and begged Dilan to get one of the scientists. Upon Dilan's refusal, she was about to leave, but I stopped her and asked her why she needed me or Even. She explained that her mother was ill and the local doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. My heart ached for the girl so young that she could've been friends with Alison.

I assured her that we would help how we could and went to convince Even to help. I knew he would be able to do more than I could to help. It wasn't easy, but he reluctantly agreed after much coaxing and, eventually, a threat to go to other worlds in search of a cure.

Lucy, who was still waiting at the gates, led us to her home. I was heartbroken to find that Lucy had been taking care of her younger sister, Clarissa. Knowing Even would tell me if I was needed, I set to work distracting the girls as I would have for Brittany, Alison, and Molly. We played games, and I made dinner.

When the girls were put to bed, Even and I began taking shifts, ensuring that Brianna, Braig's wife, would make it through the night. Lucy was right to come to us. She had gotten to the point where she had become extremely unstable. Lucy showed us the medications the doctors had prescribed, and we were confident she had been misdiagnosed.

I turned a small chunk of pages and continued reading.

Even came back from the tests he ran at the lab and discovered how to treat Brianna. He says her condition is unique, so it's no wonder the doctors didn't know what she needed. As much as I hate leaving Lucy and Clarissa, Even wants me to return to the castle, though I'll still see that the girls are taken care of when he goes. Merlin has already agreed to check on them frequently. I hope they'll be alright. The girls are so young, and Brianna can hardly do anything in her condition. We'll stop by weekly, but much can happen in a week. Regardless, I do need to go.

Sora has been asking about taking another trip to his home. I've been putting it off because of the Prisms. Even won't like me leaving the castle upon return, but I have a duty to Sora, Kairi, Brittany, Alison, and Molly. He can do without me for a few days.

I wanted to look at one final section. I flipped through to find when Brittany was first introduced to the outside world. I wanted to know what happened.

Brittany is confused, and rightfully so. She's having great difficulty in processing what is reality and what is fiction. I should have known this would happen. I should have done something to stop it from getting this far. But then, what would I have done? Sora and Kairi had made their decision on what should be done with the girls. I just wish Brittany wasn't the one who was a victim of its consequences.

Brittany isn't the only one of the girls having difficulty. Alison has been taken by the new Organization XIII. This is deeply unsettling. Saix tried to take Molly as well, but Kairi stopped him with the help of Lea and Riku, whom Sora had called shortly before. Lea took Molly to Disney Castle, and Kairi and Riku fought Saix and escaped. Riku and Yuffie are on their way to see Brittany, and then they will take Kairi to Disney Castle to be with Molly.

I curiously flipped through to the last entry.

I think I'll allow Alison to read this when I bring her to the castle. Perhaps it will help her fill the time I can't be by her side. I love all three of those girls so much. I don't think I've ever been so passionate about anything else. Alison being so close to home has been a blessing, and I'm grateful. It's wonderful that Brittany is in Radiant Gardens as well. I'm sure she'll be coming to the castle often since Alison is here.

It's also wonderful that Lucy and Alison became such good friends. I'll offer to take Alison with me when I go to check on Brianna.

I smiled, knowing that so long as Ienzo was around, I would always have somewhere to go. He was with me from the beginning to the end, and I was grateful.
