Molly's Point of View
I waited for Brittany and Alison to come back. They both had taken their forces out of their bodies. Alison was the first to stir as she was the one who took care of her force first. She sat up and hugged me. "Are you okay?" She asked me with a sense of urgency.
"I'm all better now. Light is gone. Now it's only me. I'm so sorry, Alison. Light did something to me and made me believe she was the only person that I needed. You and Brittany helped me come to my senses just enough to remove Light from my body. I don't know what will happen to her now, but I don't think she'll be bothering me again," I explained.
"Did Brittany-" She stopped, seemingly not knowing how to word her question.
"She did. Shadow is gone, too," I replied.
"Good. No sense in waiting for her to wake up. Let's get her home," Alison prompted.
"Home where?" I wondered.
Alison hesitated. "Her home is Radiant Gardens now."
It wasn't the time to argue with Alison, so I tried to think of what to do next. "How are we getting home, Alison? Did you take a gummi ship? I think Light just used my glider."
Alison extended her hand with her palm facing forward. Nothing happened. "Come on. Why won't it work?"
"Can you not open corridors of darkness anymore because Darkness is gone?" I wondered.
Alison tried again. "Please," She pleaded.
"Why don't you call Dad?" I suggested.
"I guess I could try, but I don't even know where we are," Alison sighed.
"Light said we were in a place where keyblade wielders used to train. Does that help?" I added.
"Maybe..." Alison trailed off before taking out her phone. It looked damaged. She tried to turn it on, but it sparked, and so she quickly threw it onto the ground. Alison tried again to open a corridor of darkness. "Work!" She screamed.
We heard a sound from behind us and turned toward it. I turned to see that a keyhole had appeared. "Alison!" I gasped.
"I know. I guess we have no choice," Alison stated. She hoisted Brittany over her shoulder, and she and I pointed our keyblades at the keyhole. Lights came out from the tips of our keyblades, and a white light enveloped us.
When the light faded, we were standing in front of the castle in The Land of Departure. Master Eraqus came rushing out and instantly took Brittany from Alison. "What happened?"
I didn't know how to respond. He had once been a host for Light as well, and I wasn't sure if I would be safe once he knew what I'd done.
"Brittany's unconscious, but she should wake up soon. We need to get back to Disney Castle, but we don't have a way of getting there. My phone broke, so I can't call anyone at the moment. Do you have a way I can reach out to someone?" Alison requested.
"I'll send Aqua to have Riku bring a gummi ship. It will only take a few hours. Hopefully, Brittany will be awake by then. Meet me in the dining room. We can discuss what happened in further detail once I've taken Brittany to a bed and given instruction to Aqua," Master Eraqus decided.
When Master Eraqus went inside, I started to worry. "Alison, what are we going to do? If he finds out what I did... he might do something really bad to me," I shuddered.
Alison paused to think a moment before running inside. "Wait here!" She called over her shoulder. She came back with Aqua. "Molly, you're going to Disney Castle with Aqua using your glider. The sooner we get you with family, the better. I'll stay here and explain to Master Eraqus what happened."
"But what about you?" I asked.
"I'll be fine. One of us needs to be here when Brittany wakes up, but you don't need to stay. You go. I'll handle everything," Alison assured me.
"Alright," I said reluctantly. I didn't want Alison to be alone, but I knew she was trying to protect me.
"You can use your glider. I heard you have a pink helicopter. It sounds awesome," Aqua commented.
"I guess," I replied.
"Can I see?" She smiled.
I summoned my keyblade and transformed it into my helicopter.
"Wow! Look at that! I can't wait to see how well you fly it. If it's anything like people say, you'll fly it really well," Aqua mentioned.
"People say I fly well?" I questioned.
"Of course. You do fly well, don't you?" Aqua said.
"Of course I do. I'll show you," I smiled. I was excited to show Aqua my impressive flying skills all the way back to Disney Castle and knew I would have to concentrate hard.
Alison's Point of View
I watched Molly and Aqua fly away. I waited until they were a good distance before meeting Master Eraqus inside. I found him sitting at a window seat and went to join him. "I'll tell you what happened, but you should know that you may see what we did as a terrible mistake," I began.
"It must be. I saw you had Molly leave with Aqua. You wouldn't have let her out of your sight if you weren't concerned for her safety. Rest assured, regardless of what it is, no harm will come to you or your sisters by my hand. Tell me what happened, child," Master Eraqus urged.
"Molly had been acting strange. Light did something to her heart that made her different. She called Light... Mother. It was really creepy. We started out on a stained glass platform, but then things changed. We were back in our real bodies, but Light, Darkness, and Shadow were in control. We were- we were fighting Molly. I told her to fight back, and she gained enough control to plunge her keyblade into her heart. I didn't know then that it wasn't her heart that came out of her. It was Light. Darkness was about to make me kill Molly and told me that Light was all that was left, but I figured out the truth. I held off Darkness and told Brittany what I figured out before regaining enough control to get rid of Darkness. Brittany got rid of Shadow after that, so that's why she's the last to wake up. Finally, there was a keyhole that brought us here."
"Alison!" Brittany exclaimed as she ran to hug me. "Where's Molly?"
"With Aqua. They went to Disney Castle to get your dad. He should be here with a gummi ship in a while, though Molly will probably stay with Sora and Kairi, so you might not see her when our way out of here arrives. Until then, all we can do is wait for them," I explained.
"Alison was just telling me what happened. I'm not sure what kinds of consequences your actions will cause..." Master Eraqus began. Brittany turned her head away in shame. "But should you need my help, I'll do what I can." Brittany looked back at him in surprise.
Brittany bowed. "Thank you, Master Eraqus."
Master Eraqus approached Brittany. "Brittany, please, you should know by now." He placed a hand on her shoulder as she came back up from her bow. "It's Grandfather."
Brittany hugged him, and I turned away. I felt like an intruder in a touching moment.
"Could Aly and I have a moment alone?" Brittany requested.
"Of course," Master Eraqus replied before leaving us.
Brittany's Point of View
I told Alison about my visit to Winnie the Pooh, how I planned to get my memories back, and what it would cost me. We moved outside as we discussed the matter while waiting for my dad.
"So, two years, huh? That's an awfully long time," Alison commented.
"I know, but I think it'll be worth it," I said.
"Brit, listen, I won't be mad, but are you sure? Those two years you'll miss? You won't be able to get them back. We're so young, Brit. That's two years of your teenage life, two years of mine, and two years of Molly's childhood. They're going to be really important years. Are you sure you would give them all up to have your childhood memories?" Alison asked.
"I... yeah. I know that. But I also know that I had this other life, Aly. One with a father who was on the same planet as me more often than not, a mother who wasn't struggling to provide for two other kids and me, uncles and aunts that loved me so much, and old friends that I had a lot of fun being around. I think about that, and if I don't try to get all of that back, I might regret it. I don't want to sound like everything we've been through doesn't matter because it definitely does, but-" I explained.
"Yeah, I get it. You don't have to explain it to me. Trust me, I, of all people, get it. Do you know how often I have asked myself what would have happened if I had lived under my dad's roof? If I had the same chance as you, I might have taken it. That's why, no matter what you decide, I support you," Alison replied before she hugged me. "Just promise me that once you're back, you'll still be my sister and Molly's too."
I embraced Alison back. "I can make that promise."
The gummi ship arrived, and we pulled away. I turned to my father as he exited the spacecraft but then turned back to Alison with a silent question of if she would be fine with me running to him. Alison nodded, and I ran to my father and threw my arms around him.
Alison's Point of View
I watched as Brittany ran to Riku and hugged him. I was happy for them, but I felt so alone. It was then that the permanence of my biological father's absence sunk in. I wanted someone I could run to who would hug me and tell me that everything would be okay, and I would believe them. I saw Aqua walk out of the gummi ship along with a familiar face. "Mr. Zexy!" I exclaimed, running toward him.
"Who?" Aqua asked.
"Long story," Ienzo replied.
"Where's Molly?" I questioned.
"Safe with her parents. Are you and Brittany alright?" Ienzo checked.
"We're fine." I embraced Ienzo. "I'm so happy you're here. What are you doing here anyway?" I inquired.
"When Aqua and Molly came to get help, Sora contacted me to fill me in. I requested to come, so Riku picked me up before coming here," Ienzo explained.
I pulled away from Ienzo and turned to Aqua. "Thank you for getting them," I mentioned.
"Of course," Aqua smiled.
I noticed that Yuffie had come out of the ship and had joined Riku and Brittany in a small family reunion. Yuffie and Riku headed to the castle. "My parents want to see Master Eraqus before we leave," Brittany explained before following them inside. Aqua followed them shortly after, leaving Ienzo and me as the only ones outside.
"Sora and Kairi didn't care enough to make the journey?" I remarked.
"They had to see to their daughter," Ienzo commented.
"For a while, they really had me going there." I wiped a stray tear from my face. "I thought for a long time that I was their daughter. Isn't that funny?" I chuckled dryly.
"Aly, that's not it. They love you very much, truly. It's just that..." Ienzo trailed off.
"Just that what?" I asked.
"They thought if they weren't here, it would help you adapt to your new life," Ienzo answered.
"What new life?" I demanded.
Ienzo hesitated before taking my hands. "The one I want to make for you. Alison, you are by no means obligated to accept my offer. I have very little that I can give you, but I will do my best to provide you with a stable environment and a home to which you can always return, no matter what mistakes you make. What I am offering you is a permanent place in the castle in Radiant Gardens under my care."
"What? I don't- this is really sudden." Trying to understand what Ienzo was saying was overwhelming.
"I know it's sudden, Aly. Just think about it, alright? We have a whole space trip to think about it, and even then, you don't have to answer me immediately. You can take your time and give me an answer when you're ready," Ienzo assured me.
"I'll think about it. Why would you do it? I mean, I know you like me, but that's a lot to take on," I pointed out.
"True, but I remember when I was younger than you and I had lost my parents. There were people who had taken me in and raised me, with one, in particular, looking out for me more than the others. I like to think that I could do the same for my favorite of the girls I visited all those years. Don't tell your sisters I called you my favorite," Ienzo said with what might have been a wink, but I couldn't tell with his hair covering one of his eyes.
"Your secret is safe with me," I giggled. I didn't know if I would take him up on his offer or not, but the idea didn't sound altogether bad. I would get to stay near my new friend, Lucy, and I would be there when Brittany woke up. Still, I had one reservation in particular. Molly needed me. I was her big sister, and I couldn't just leave her to try to adjust by herself. We tried that, and it didn't work out. I wasn't sure what to do, but as Ienzo said, I had time to think about it.
We are close to coming to a close. I have one more chapter before my three epilogues. This has been an amazing journey and I've grown so much in my writing over the years. Almost to the finish line for this one.
Thank you, Demon Shadow5000 and Bigman101, for following.
