A/N: I do not and never will own any of these characters. They belong to J.K.Rowling. I just enjoy tormenting them.

Hope you enjoy the entry of the story that has been chewing away at my head.

The town of Godric's Hollow was mostly peaceful and quiet. The townspeople were safe from any darker creatures in the woods by the pack of Werewolves that claimed the town as part of their territory. The townspeople were good with the arrangement, they were protected and even brought different foods and supplies when things got rough in the area when it was needed. The decree from the Ministry after the war also helped of course.

The war had lasted maybe a year but had left with few who fought unturned. Voldemort's forces had won, and he had taken swift action to remove those from power and replace them with his most trusted. Since winning the war the only things truly notable that Voldemort truly had done was help implement new rules surrounding the creatures, taking off many of the restrictions and classifications that claimed that the creatures had to register, how many children they could have, and the work restrictions that were all imposed by previous management. He also put in place different assistance-related laws for all creatures who had been wronged in the past by the Ministry. Along with these changes Voldemort also changed the way that the Magic community was separated from the muggles. He strengthened the borders, met with the Queen and the Minister on safeguards, and changed the rules of interactions between the two worlds. He made the magic side that much more secure, and while a few from the light side tried to say that it was too harsh, many felt better about the new safeguards in place. The last thing that Voldemort did was change the way schooling happened. Now instead of all the children attending a large school at age 11, there were now what he called Elementary Schools, where any child with magic attended from the age of 5 – 10. Along with this was the implementation of a new task force in the Ministry that was solely responsible for locating, informing, relocating, and watching of muggle-borns.

After making these changes Voldemort seemed to almost fade into the shadows, still making appearances at Wizengamot, voting days, or the odd run-ins here and there. It seemed that the worries the so-called "Light Side" had of him taking control were unfounded. Or, at least as far as the public was concerned, it seemed that way. The public mostly felt that Voldemort had restrained himself rather well after the war, instead of sentencing everyone who fought against him to Azkaban or death he settled for a vow of understanding. Where they couldn't attack him, they could question if they dared, but they couldn't raise their wands against him. The only one who was sent to Azkaban was Dumbledore, they held a trial for the man where Voldemort's past and many others were used as evidence of his manipulations, lies, and distrust. Voldemort was not allowed to vote, and while a couple of his supporters were on seats the vote was anonymous and the outcry was loud and angry.

As the years passed everything started to settle and many were getting on with their lives. The Potters had been turned early in the war and had taken up residence at Godric's Hollow after the war, alongside their friends Remus and Sirius. Sirius had managed to remain unturned though still chose to live with his friends. Peter had died very shortly after they had joined the war and so the friend's group was down a member, though he didn't seem to be missed all that much.

Quite a few of people who used to follow Dumbledore went off to join the Potter's pack in one way or another. They all seemed to want to be out of the public's eyes as they healed their pride. The pack grew as those within started to have their families, some chose to be changed, others stayed human and lived in the village instead of the woodlands.

When it came time for their children to attend school nothing of note happened. The oldest son, one Harry Potter, was a sweet boy who was a born werewolf and seemed to enjoy all things learning. As the rest of the pack's kids started to attend school as did the children of Voldemort's supporters. The public was keen to watch the interactions between the two, but soon found themselves bored as all the children seemed to get along for the most part.

Our story begins further down the path, skipping past young Harry's time in Elementary School, past his sorting into his Hogwarts house, Ravenclaw of course, past the ever-developing friendships between him and the other children who were wolves, skipping right over most of his busy school life until we land here… inside young Harry's cabin of sorts. His last year of Hogwarts is approaching, in two days' time in fact.

Harry sat at his desk, writing quickly in the low light of his candle, not needing much light to see what he was doing. The boy's long black hair tied back with a clip, the candle's glow illuminating his brilliant emerald eyes and his slightly pale skin. He finishes the letter, putting it in an envelope and sealing it with red and gold wax and his crest. The boy stands and hands a lovely white owl the letter. "Hey girl, would you mind terribly getting this letter to Skoll? If possible, wait for his reply?" The owl puffed up her feathers and hopped to the young man's shoulder, followed by nipping him on the ear. "I know, I know, they've been watching me too closely to send him one before now. I've run out of time though, he needs to get this before we get on the train. I feel bad enough for not being able to reply to his letter..." Harry glanced at the black envelope that lay hidden on his bookshelf. The owl hooted and stuck her leg out. Harry smiled and tied the letter to her foot. "Thanks, girl. You're the best owl there ever was." The white owl puffed up with pride and quickly took off through the window, her limited magic keeping anyone from noticing her departure if they happened to look up.

Harry turned away from the window and finished some of the packing. Once he was finished he went to his bookshelf and grabbed a dark red book from the shelf. Hogwarts A History. He opened the book and using a knife gently peeled back the paper from the front, revealing a letter hidden behind the wrapping. He smiled as he held the letter and reread the words.

Harry,

I haven't heard from you much this summer and wanted to make sure you were alright. Your father isn't being a dumbass this year, is he? I'll gladly knock him down a peg or two if you want.

My birthday happened two days ago and as our traditions go, I got to run with the adults this year, meaning I also had to endure the older wolves trying to be all "I'm higher up the pole than you." Nonsense. You were right though, I ended up being more dominant than nearly all of Dad's pack. I didn't dare see if I was more so than Dad in front of the pack, too much respect for my old man. So officially I am my dad's second. Kinda crazy. I owe you that basket of tarts after all! Ha!

Let me know how your birthday goes yeah? I know it's coming up and it's always a little rough…

As I've been going through the changes around here, I've come to realize how much I miss your presence. You've always been able to calm 'the crazy' in me as you say, and I could use some of that now dealing with these damn harpies. Honestly, I just miss being around you, every summer I feel this way but this year…especially now after my birthday, my wolf is missing yours's something terrible. Apologies, I'm rambling…

I wanted to ask if you'd let me court you this year. Before you get all bent out of shape, yes, I talked to my dad about it, he and mom are all for it and want me happy yadda yadda. You forget that they like you…

I would be honored if you let me court you with the intent of matehood. I will always treat you with the respect you deserve, give you the free rein to do as you need, be your partner, your equal in all things, and most importantly, make sure you are always safe.

If you could send a response before the train? I know things are hard for you right now, so a month's time to try and sneak a response is kinda possible…right?

In the Winds,

Skoll Greyback

Harry smiled as he tucked the letter back into its hiding place. It'd been one of the few things to help him through this last month at home. James was relentless this summer, always trying to push him to the edge, trying to show that he was better, and all around being nasty as he could be.

His father had been disappointed when he was born, yeah, he was a wolf, but he was an Omega. Heaven forbid his son have the ability to get pregnant. They had four Omegas in their pack including himself…and he was different from the other three. They were all girls, and they tended to be much more timid, appeasing, and submissive. Meanwhile, Harry had always been rough, opinionated, and dominant. Yeah, he was soft-spoken and easy on the eyes, but he was a whirlwind. At least that's what Skoll always called it.

James was very clear on his stance with Harry. He didn't like that at age 5 Harry was more dominant than almost everyone in the pack. By age 13 he surpassed his father. Harry never tried to fight or do anything against him, but everyone knew. It causes James to lash out at Harry every way possible, from giving him the worst job when home for the summer, to making him live in a cabin by himself instead of with the rest of his family. Making him gather and make his own food, even going as far as to try and keep the other kids away from him…not that that tactic worked. Harry didn't mind being on his own, it was nice and quiet, plus a lot of the kids come to see him. Especially those at Hogwarts level.

Hogwarts was his safe haven. At Hogwarts, he and Skoll were the top wolves. They made up their own pack of sorts while at the school. Harry oversaw the young and any issues the girls had while Skoll oversaw the rough and tumble boys and kept them in line and from doing anything stupid. Sometimes Harry felt that he got an easier job.

As Harry went off to sleep he smiled as he thought of this year, now with the thought of Skoll and him being in a courtship. This year would be good. And he wouldn't have to return hes officially an adult and able to do as he please. This year would be interesting.

A/N: Hope you liked the first bit of the story.
