Hey there. I just created my latest story. This time it's from the Adventure Time series. But this one is based on the series: Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake. Specifically episode 7: The Star which takes place in the alternate world where the vampires had taken over. The OC I came up with is a young adult male human named Cyrus Kooper. I based him off of Sly Cooper from the Sly Cooper video game franchise. Coincidentally, he is voiced by Kevin Miller who also does the voice of Sly.

Heist in the Vampire World

It was many years after the Mushroom War started. For as long as anyone can remember, undead creatures called vampires have taken over the world and nearly wiped out the human race. A few survivors were able to fight back, but it is still not enough to fully eradicate them. Luckily, their latest members might be able to change all of that.

Up on a roof, a lone figure was running on top and skillfully leaped onto another roof and then another. Then he flipped over to another building. The figure is actually a young adult male human wearing a green hoodie, green gloves, red scarf, light blue pants, and black boots. The human's skin was light and he has black hair. He was also wearing green goggles, a blue backpack and holding a cane with a silver c-shaped hook. Once he reached another building, he goes into a shadow and pressed his back against a wall when he sees a vampire coming. Once the vampire got close, the man hits him in the head with his cane and then came out of the shadows. The young man then came out and then used his cane to swing the vampire off the building. The young man's name is Cyrus Kooper, a human survivor who had lost his family at the hands of the vampires. Just then, he received a call from his ear piece.

"Cy, come in! Cy! Are you there!? Do you read me!?" a voice called

"Loud and clear, Zeke. But not so loud next time okay" Cyrus said with a wince

"Sorry. I'm really freaking out with all these vampires roaming around. Plus I'm still trying to adjust the frequency for these communicators that Bubblegum provided us with" Zeke said

"Calm down, buddy. I'm the one who is out here. I need to get the stuff for the Resistance." Cyrus said

"Well you can count on me to be your eyes and ears. Fortunately for you, I've downloaded the schematics for this building. I should be able to direct you on where to go in order for you to find what you need" Zeke said

"Don't forget about me, Cyrus. Once you get what you need, we'll be there to pick you up" another voice said on Cyrus' ear piece

"Be sure keep that engine running, Jason" Cyrus said "I'll need a quick getaway in case the vampires show up. Especially her"

"Okay. Enough talking. Let's get this job done" Zeke said "Cy, your way inside is through that ventilation shaft on your right"

Cyrus turn to see the ventilation shaft a few feet from him

"I see it. I'm going in" he said

Using his cane, Cyrus pulled the vent grate off and went through the vent.

Cyrus begins to crawl through the vents. As he continues to crawl, he then sees another vent grate on his left. He then pressed his feet onto the grate and pushed as hard as he could until the bolts gave away and the grate fell down. The young man then leaps out of the vent and onto the floor while holding his cane. He then pressed his ear piece to contact Zeke

"Zeke, I'm inside the building" Cyrus said

"Excellent, Cy" Zeke said "Thanks to my mapping technology, I'm able to pinpoint where you are. Now I can direct where you need to go"

"That's great, pal" Cyrus said "Where should I go from here?"

"Start going forward and make a left. Then make a right. Once you do that, you'll be able to find a door on that end." Zeke instructed

Cyrus followed Zeke's instructions as he went forward and then made a left. He then made a right. Just as he went forward, Cyrus noticed a coin on the floor. Seeing that it didn't belong to anybody, he picked it up and puts it in his pocket. As he continue forward until he saw the door.

"Bingo" he said

Cyrus approached the door and opened it. He peeks inside to see some security lasers on the floor and a few tables all around. Cyrus then notices a large door at the very back.

"Hmmm" Cyrus thought before contacting Zeke "Zeke, I've reached the room, but I see some security lasers on the ground"

"That's odd. It seems as thought someone had forgotten to turn off the security system after the vampires took over" Zeke theorized "You might want to watch your step, Cyrus"

"I could probably use these tables to help me out a bit" Cyrus said

Cyrus goes into the room. He athletically flipped onto the floor while avoiding the lasers. He then gets onto a table. After a few more flips, Cyrus finally reached the door. Pulling up his goggles, he sees that there is a rusty chain latched around the door handle. Smirking, Cyrus used his cane to break the chain and went through the door. He sees that he is inside a kitchen

"Jackpot! There seems to be plenty of food for all of us in here. Martin would definitely use some of these for his soups" Cyrus said

The human begins to look around the kitchen. He opens a refrigerator and sees some food in it. But he then noticed that some of the food are not that good

"Some of the food must've rotted over the years. I'm gonna need to take as much as I can" he said

Cyrus then takes out a sack from his backpack and used his cane to scrape some of it in. He then head to the cupboard and placed some canned food into the sack. It wasn't long until the sack is full.

"Okay, I think that should be enough" Cyrus said

Heading out with the sack, Cyrus leaped onto the tables. It was a little difficult for him to balance due to the weight of the sack. Once he was out of the room, Cyrus pulls his goggles back down and begins to contact Jason.

"Jason, I got the stuff. Rendezvous with me outside of the building at the front" he instructed

"You got it, Cyrus. We'll be there in a few minutes" Jason replied

Cyrus then walks through the building and finds the stairs. He then begins to climb downstairs. But when he went through the hallways, his earpiece buzzed

"Cyrus, I'm detecting some enemies heading to your direction" Zeke warned "Be careful"

"It must the vampires" Cyrus said

He then stops to see two vampires in his path. They hissed at him

"Oh glob!" he yelled

One vampire jumps at him, but Cyrus ducks down to avoid the attack. The other one hissed at him as it ran at him. But Cyrus knocks it away with his cane making it hit a nearby vase.

"No time to be sneaky" Cyrus said as he begins to run "I need to meet up with the others"

As he kept running, Cyrus saw more vampires in his path

"Guess I'll hit and run then" he said before smirking "This will be fun"

After fighting off other vampires and heading down several floors in the building. Cyrus finally reached the entrance of the building. He pants as he came out of the door and down the steps.

"Made it" he said

"Boo!"

Cyrus looked up to see a pale skinned vampire woman with black hair, pointed ears, 2 bite marks on her neck, and fangs. She was also wearing a purple dress, long black gloves, long grey socks, and black mary jane shoes. This is Marceline also known as The Star.

"Star!" he said as he narrowed his eyes . The Star laughed evilly

"Did you miss me?" she asked

"As if" Cyrus replied harshly

"That hurts, Cyrus" Marceline said in mock sorrow "I thought you enjoyed the times we had together"

"You mean all the times when you tried to steal my soul or drain my blood. Not to mention all the times we clashed against each other" Cyrus said as he remembered his past encounters with the female vampire "And in case you forgot: I've always managed to elude you"

The Star flew down on the ground

"Well this time, I got you right where I want you" she said with an evil smirk

The Star then flew right at Cyrus. On instinct, the young man leaped out of the way while still carrying the sack.

"Too slow" Cyrus teased

Marceline gives him an evil look and hissed. Just as she charged at Cyrus, he quickly got out his cane and strikes her in the face. He then delivers a kick which sends her back. Cyrus then hears a horn honking. He looks to see a big white van coming up. At the wheel was a large man wearing a red cap to hide his blonde hair, red shirt, and black gloves and in the back was a short young man wearing large glasses, has red hair, white coat, and blue jeans while confined to a wheel chair. They are Zeke and Jason, Cyrus' friends and teammates. The van then pulled up in front of him

"Guys. What kept you?" Cyrus asked

"Sorry, buddy. We had to get pass some vampires in our path" Jason said

"No time for chit chat. Cyrus, put the supplies in the back and hop in" Zeke said

Cyrus nod his head and quickly heads over to the back. He opens the back door and throws the sack in. Just as he did that, Cyrus heard hissing. He looks to his left to see four vampires heading towards the van in the distance.

"Uh oh!" he said

Cyrus ran over to the front door, but he is suddenly slammed on the side of the van by The Star causing him to drop his cane. Marceline held him by the shoulders

"Going somewhere?" she asked "I was just about take a bite"

Marceline pulls down his scarf to reveal his neck and opens her mouth to reveal her fangs. The vampire then moves closer to Cyrus' neck preparing to bite him. Gasping, Cy notices his cane nearby. Just as The Star's face got closer, Cyrus quickly punched her in the gut making her gasp and release her hold on him. Cyrus then delivers more punches on The Star's face and chest. He then finished it up with a roundhouse kick sending Marceline to the ground. Pulling up his scarf, Cyrus picks up his cane

"Thank goodness for Bonnibel's lessons on self-defense." Cyrus said before turning to The Star who had just recovered "As much as I would like to play games with you, I have somewhere else I need to be. Laters"

Cyrus then opens the door to the front and got in with Jason at the wheel

"Quick Jay. Step on it!" he yelled

"You got it!" Jason replied as he stepped on the gas pedal

The van then sped away just as the vampires came up. Marceline got up as she saw the van drive off. She growled as she watched her favorite target got away from her

"You can't escape me, Cyrus! I will find you!" The Star called

That was the first chapter of Cyrus Kooper: Reign of the Vampires. Cyrus Kooper is kinda like Sly Cooper in a way except he is not a raccoon. In the original episode: The Star, Marceline and Bubblegum are arch enemies. The Star would still flirt with her during their encounters, but would also flirt with Cyrus the most during their clashes in this story. The characters Zeke and Jason are both based on Bentley and Murray. Like Bentley, Zeke is a genius and like Murray, Jason is the driver and the muscle. Zeke is voiced by Matt Olsen who voiced Bentley and Jason is voiced by Chris Murphy who voiced Murray. I hope enjoy this chapter and shoot me some ideas about what happens next in this story.
