The alarm sounded throughout the base, but thankfully, this was an outgoing wormhole. Teal'c stood in the back, his hands behind his back, waiting. Jack pulled down his glasses, put his weight on one leg, and looked at Carter, who smiled and nodded while Daniel played with his watch, which had more buttons than their Stargate computer.

The wormhole was ready for travel. "Let's go, children," Jack said, making Daniel shake his arm down and assume the lead into the gate.

In mere moments, they were on a new world.

"Wow," Carter said, looking around,

Jack pulled down his glasses, also in shock.

It was even more beautiful in person. Lush, rich greenery, beautiful flowers and vines, blue skies, and you could faintly hear the rush of water.

"It's like the garden of Edan," Daniel spoke, resting his hand on his gun that lay across his chest.

"The garden of Edan?" Jack repeated, making everyone look at him. "Don't eat any apple, kids," He added, "Especially from her," He nodded toward Carter.

"Sir," She smiled.

They moved. They traveled, guns ready and senses open. They spread out slightly but stayed in speaking range.

Daniel spotted it first. "Guys,"

They all went to him and followed his line of vision.

There, in the middle of this lush garden, was a slab, and on top of that slab was a body. They walked closer carefully.

"It is a woman," Teal'c stated,

"Its like sleeping beauty," Carter stated,

The men all looked at her, and it was clear by their faces that they had no idea what she was talking about.

"Come on, you know, sleeping beauty,"

Jack raised both eyebrows and threw one hand up. Carter looked at Daniel. "You have never watched Sleeping Beauty?" She asked.

Daniel took his glasses off and cleaned them. "Um, no,"

They all looked at Teal'c but realized he wouldn't know, so they all looked back at Carter. Teal'c raised one elegant eyebrow.

"Well, in the movie, the evil queen who was her stepmother-

"Ah," Jack cut her off. "Short version, Carter,"

"Right, sir," She smirked. "Um, the princess was put to sleep with a spell that could only be broken by true love kiss, sir,"

Jack pushed Daniel. "You're up,"

Daniel looked back. "Excuse me, but why me?"

Jack made a face, and it clearly read, 'Hey, this is your thing. Daniel squinted his eyes and sighed before looking back at the slab and the girl. He walked up and looked down at her.

Her hair was brown and wavy and fell over the slab. Her skin was pale, and her clothes didn't leave a lot for the imagination. The top she wore was sheer and long-sleeved and almost resembled a Japanese Kimono with the fabric covering her hands. Her breasts were full and pushed up by what Daniel could only assume was her bra. The top connected to the bra and then went down and split, falling to the sides, showing off her midsection. Her bottoms consisted of a low rise jewel embedded belt, and the same fabric as the top was connected to the belt and flowed out in uneven cuts, shorter in some spots than others; thankfully, it was layered, but it showed off her tone legs.

He didn't feel right about this. "Hello?" He asked, which, of course, did nothing and left him feeling silly.

He looked back at the group; Jack waved his hand, shooing him to hurry. Daniel looked back down and slowly leaned. Was he really going to try this? It was stupid, right?

Then suddenly, her eyes opened, and they were as blue as the sky, and they locked with this.

He stepped back. "Um, hi,"

The girl lifted her hand and waited; getting the clue, he offered his hand and helped her to sit up.

She looked at the group and then back at Daniel. "Hello," She spoke,

"Um, hello,"

"Who are you?" Ask asked,

"Oh, I'm Daniel Jackson," He looked back at his group. "These are my friends, Major Carter," Carter waved and smiled. "Colonel Jack O'Neill,"

"Hiya," Jack waved one hand,

"And the big guy in the back is Teal'c" Teal'c bowed his head.

She looked at them and then back at Daniel. "Where did you come from?" She asked,

He looked at her for a moment. "Oh, um, through the stargate,"

She smiled. "You have ascended," She stated,

He raised both eyebrows. "Yeah," He said slowly. "Once,"

She looked back at the others. "They have not,"

"Um, no, is that a problem?" He asked, slightly confused,

She looked back at him. "No," She slipped off the slab. She was slightly shorter than Daniel and looked to be slightly younger, but who knew?

"Come with me," She grabbed Daniels's hand and began to pull him away with much glee.

Jack and Carter looked at each other, shrugged, and followed, and Teal'c followed after them.

They left what they named Edan and entered what looked to be a city out of the Wizard of Oz. The buildings were high and looked almost like glass, but it clearly wasn't. They were made of diamonds; in fact, everything in the city was made of some type of jewel, and the streets were solid gold and or silver.

"Welp, we are in Kansa anymore, kids," Jack spoke, shocked,

"Now that movie I have seen," Daniel stated, just as shocked.

"It is beautiful." Carter breathed.

"Indeed," Teal'c agreed.

The girl holding Daniels's hand giggled and squeezed his hand. "Come, yes?"

All they could do was nod dumbfounded and follow.

But if it was too good to be true, it must not be real, right?
