"Logan when the hell did you get in town and does Wade know you are back ." said Rogue to the older man named Logan "You gonna rat me out kid besides the party here apparently," replied Logan smoking a cigar." So gumbo are you going my beat my daughter ex-finance to a pulp or are you just gonna stand there," he said to gambit " glady badger " said remy smirking and turns to pulse and was about to punch him dead in the face till a hand held his arm back. "no he just use this against me in court please remy logan let go please " said rogue
"All alright kid let go Com on gumbo, " said the Canadian paying his tab. The three of them walk out of the bar leaving Pulse behind. "Antoinette is at my house with Wade He picked her up from Tabitha a little bit after you handed out I don't know why you let her babysit ." said Logan looking at his daughter "Why are you dating Wade and Tabtha is my friend ." said rogue " o this is remy he's my fade mate he works for magneto and I smacked him and the face and as you see left a mark ." said the young rogue to her father who started laughing hearing this. "I left Buckethead after that fight since what had happened the contract was broken ." said the cajun getting on his bike "Contract what kind of thief are you" asked Rogue. "I'm the best of the best mon cherie, "says Gambit with a smile
The group of three heads to Logan's house on their bikes. They arrived at a log cabin mansion in the woods that was huge and was about three stories. The group parks their bikes in the garage and heads inside to find what looks like a baby war zone." Jesus Christ what happened "asks Logan "Our granddaughter" says a man in his late thirties with scars covering all his skin. He is holding well trying to hold a squirming toddler that looks exactly like Rogue. her hair is so curly she looks like Shirley Temple. " mama " coes the baby reaching out toward Rogue Wade sets Antoinette down and she wobbles towards Rogue arms reaching up the whole time." whos that "asks Wade looking at Gambit " he's Maire mate " says logan getting a beer out of the fridge
Antoinette looks over her mother's shoulder and sees Gambit and reaches her arms out towards him "pretty eyes pretty " she says giggling while reaching her chubby little arms towards him. Remy walks over to the two and picks up Antoinette who starts snuggling into him then she looks up and suddenly her eyes change from the blue eyes she got from Pulse to red and black ones that match gambit . all three stop what their doing and stare in shock at the baby and wade Logan and rogue turn to Gambit for an explanation " aint sure what just happened to the petite boo so don't ask moi " explains remy looking more shocked then any of them .
Two hours later the group of three plus antoinette are sitting in the xmen medbay waiting for an explanation of why antoinette eyes change . " well this is most interesting " muses hank " what is it hank " asked rogue worried " well its nothing bad my dear its kinda funny and amazing you see antoinette has not only change her eyes to match Mr LeBeau she has completely erased all of pulse DNA and replaced it with LeBeau " explained hank still stock him self at learning this " but how did nettie do that hank she too young for the x gene to activate " askd rogue watching gambit bounce antoinette on his lap " i think i might know what has happened you see this is extremely rare if two people are soulmates and one has a child that not the other and only if the child is really young and has not imprinted on their other parent they could print on the main parents new mate and change their DNA but there only about 10 case of this in all of history that are known ." explains hank .
