A/N: First of all so sorry for late updates as I always say academics tend to get better of me like all those projects, exams, deadlines and so on.
But thankfully there is something called Diwali vacation which gave me enough time to write this chapter.

NOW, ON WITH THIS FIC:
It was dark, and he was running. Running so he could reach a safe place, running so he could live to see the next sunrise and running to escape it, but no matter how fast he ran, it always caught up.
"There's no running away, Kai" said the creature chasing Kai and as if on cue Kai stumbled and hit the ground. His attention went to the size of his body which weirdly looked like that of a four-year-old. He tried to get up but he saw the creature's dark shadow spreading everywhere and realised that it was too late, he heard the frightening creature growl and...
Kai woke up sweating and panting, he couldn't describe what he was feeling right now and was glad that everyone was asleep. He felt a throbbing pain in his head, his nightmares were getting worse these days. He had never been one to be bothered by them as his time in abbey had showed him things much frightening and bloody that made him numb to them or so he thought. Earlier when he would experience nightmares he would wake up, drink a glass of water then go back to sleep only to wake up in the morning as if nothing happened, but it's all different ever since losing Dranzer, at first, his nightmares mostly surrounded him losing Dranzer in different scenarios which clearly affected him but recently they took turn for worse. They felt somewhat... real, like a fragment of his memory that was buried so deep that he had no access to it and that made him a bit anxious about what these nightmares could mean.
To clear his mind, he got up and went to kitchen to get some water, he would have gone out for a walk, but it was still raining. As he entered the kitchen, he saw that Ray's sister Crystal was already there.
"Oh, Good morning, Kai" greeted Crystal cheerfully (well, as cheerful as one can be at 3:00am).
"Good morning." mumbled Kai.
"Couldn't sleep?" asked Crystal as Kai gulped a glass full of water.
"I could ask you the same question," replied Kai.
"I usually wake up around this time...btw would you like some tea? "
"Hn" said Kai reluctantly, he still did not fully trust her yet, but her aura held a sense of familiarity he couldn't explain.
"Here, I mixed in some herbs to make it healthier, I hope you like it."
It tasted really good and did wonders for his throbbing head "It's refreshing...Thank you".
"My pleasure" said Crystal, she was aware that Kai was still having hard time trusting her, well she couldn't blame him as Hiro did fucked up in siblings department recently and she herself had been pretty much distant but he'll come around soon, she thought.
After they were done with tea, Kai excused himself and went back to sleep, while Crystal took out some files and her laptop and started working in the kitchen as she still had some time before Ray would wake up and they would go for some early morning training which she promised him yesterday I need to make sure everything is perfect so our claim on that artifact remains legit and I'll be able to solve it's mystery as soon as possible but for that I'll be needing that bastard's (Hiro's) help...God this is gonna be exhausting...
"Ha, beat ya!" said Crystal as she extended her hand to help Ray get up who was lying defeated on the ground.
"Man, you are strong as always and here I thought all that office work made you slack off."
"Well, as Dad used to say..."
"Never underestimate a Kon." they said in unison.
They chuckled at that "But from now on keep this in mind that no matter who you are facing or how much you think you know that person, while fighting or beyblading that person is your opponent and your first duty is to defeat them with all your strength no matter what happens, understood?"
Ray nodded understanding the lesson his sister wanted him to learn "Let's go for another round."
"Ok, but it's the last one then we will go back I have to go for work, right."
They sparred for one more round of martial arts and Ray still tried to convince her for more.
"Crysie, that's not fair, you came back after years and I just..."
"I get it Ray but we could do this more often, if you want that is and if it wasn't too much important for me to be there at work today then I really would've taken a leave. Now, let's go get ready to face the day. " reasoned Crystal while hugging Ray.
"Alright" Ray agreed still pouting a bit, well until Crystal starts tickling him.
"Ha ha Crysie.. hahaha...stop it... it haha"
"Ha ha... let's go back now, Ok?"
"Ha...Ok" agreed Ray while panting.
"Ray, remember I asked you to help Hiro yesterday?" Crystal asked Ray as they walked back to Dojo.
"Yeah, what about it?" he let go of his pout and listened carefully to her.
"Well, it would help if Tyson forgives his brother too, I mean I tried to get him to forgive Hiro but I am still pretty much a stranger to him, right. So, he might pretty much ignore what I said."
"Yeah, I mean Hiro's clear from almost all allegations but Tyson never takes these things lightly, betrayals I mean, so it's hard to say that even after your explanation yesterday if he might forgive him or not. Btw, why is it important that Tyson forgives Hiro in order to reconnect with his bit-beast?"
"Our emotions kind of govern our bonds with our bit-beasts, so to put it simply, the more intense our emotions are during a Beyblade battle, the more effective our attacks become. Dark Beasts like Zeus feed off of negative emotions, such as sadness, which I believe was caused by not being forgiven by Tyson. Therefore, I think this might help."
"Hmm...Well, I've been meaning to ask you something, can't we just ask Brooklyn to undo whatever Zeus is doing to Hiro?"
"No... we can't, as this wasn't done by him but his bit-beast on its own will, that means Brooklyn doesn't have any idea how it was done and also as of right now I don't think that involving him is a good idea since Brooklyn has been ordered not to associate with anyone that might trigger panic till he's ready and I don't think his counsellor would allow us anyway."
"Ok, then I'll see what I can do but it's the only reason you want Hiro to be forgiven, right." asked Ray skeptically.
"Uh...Yeah, why else would I be bothered about it, haha." dodged Crystal.
They reached the dojo and got ready for the day. Crystal and Ray then went to kitchen to prepare the breakfast only to see Hiro already there gathering ingredients.
"Good morning, Hiro" greeted Ray.
"Good morn..." Hiro paused while greeting back as soon as his eyes landed on Crystal donning lavender formal suit which showcased her stunning and powerful personality. She had a fine choice in formal wear, he'll give her that much regardless of the kind of person she is. He clears his throat and shifts his gaze towards Ray not to be caught staring at her and greets them again.
"Good morning Ray...Dr. Kon"
"Morning, Mr. Granger. Actually Ray and I were going to prepare breakfast together but it seems like you're already at it so maybe..."
"Actually, Hiro and I usually prepare it together but since you are here I think you two should do it while I wake everyone up." and with that Ray left them alone. It was planned actually as he suspected that there was something those two were hiding and it was based on the way they acted around each other. So, Ray thought that forcing them to work together will make it easy to analyze the situation.
"So, uh... what are we making for breakfast?" questions Crystal.
"I think Pancakes will be fine."
"Ok, then we can pair it with egg bake what do you think?"
"That would be great. Let's do it then. Since you already know your way around so I think we can go straight to cooking, you process the eggs while I take care of other things."
"Yup."
Crystal wanted to ask him few things but didn't know how to start a conversation because things are way too awkward between them as it is but then she thinks that why should she feel awkward as it was him who messed things up between them, even thinking of it which made her blood boil which she decided to ignore so she cleared her throat to catch his attention and as he turns to her she asks.
"Well...uh how does it feel to be... possessed by Zeus?" WOW...I couldn't have been more straightforward.
Hiro was caught off guard by the way it sounded, it sounded like she was concerned for him but it's not possible especially after what she did to him which angered him but he decided to ignore it and maybe it was for her research no...it was definitely for research purposes. So he decided to answer honestly.
"It's like he likes to give me terrible migraines and sometimes I think I hear voices like he's talking to me like it feels like I'm getting crazy and yesterday I got to know that he can take over my consciousness, as if I didn't had enough problems already." his voice rising with anger.
"Deep breaths, Hiro." said a concerned Crystal ignoring the fact that she called him by his name after what seems like ages, well not that they interact often now...
He did as he was instructed as she continued "Firstly, you have to get better in control of your thoughts and emotions so Zeus can't have an upper hand on you and today I suggest you to work on calling your kitty out of the bag. Secondly, I don't get it that why would you keep all this from everyone and like is he affecting your smartness as well, like you didn't even considered talking to your father about this."
"Firstly, don't call it kitty and second I can't stay here I have work to go to." answered Hiro, conveniently ignoring the second question.
"Mr. D knows the situation and he agreed that you should get few days off and it says something as that guy does knows how to overwork his employees."
"You should have talked to me first, you can't make this kind of decisions for me because you don't have any right to do that." said Hiro angrily as he whisked the batter for pancakes.
"You are afraid to call out Metal-Drigger, aren't you?"
"..." it felt like words were caught in his throat it was unnerving how she still could read him like this.
"I don't know why you think that but I for the one knows that Metal-Drigger loves you and that you are worthy of him like all other bit-beasts you own and even though it kills me to admit this, it's true... and I don't know about others, but She believed in you."
With this they prepared rest of the breakfast in silence only noise there being cooking noises.
As they prepared the breakfast, Ray kept an eye on them as he woke everyone up and he kind of got Kai and Tyson (after waking him with classic old chilli trick) involved in this as well, by saying that he only wants to protect his sister and Kai would've never agreed to such thing but god knows why he agreed to it, maybe it was due to Hiro and Dr. CK really seemed like they were hiding something and being Captain of Bladebreakers he would make sure whatever they were hiding won't affect his team and Tyson agreed for a ice-cream treat.
"So, What do you think, Ray?"
"They definitely are hiding something like the way they are working together with ease it's like they are familiar with each other."
"Do you think like each other?"
"Hn, they definitely hate each other's guts." Kai said uninterestedly, Ray is way too overprotective for his sister.
"Food smells so good, if they would cook this much yummy food daily, I have no issues with Crystal being my sister-in-law."
"No way in hell Tyson!"
"Uh... what's going on guys? you are kind of blocking our way." said Hilary as she and Mariah sweat dropped (-_-').
They all ate the breakfast together and praised the cooks for their efforts.
"Ray, would you do me a favor and help me with my bit-beast problem? I have a day off today for this and Dr. CK suggested me to start right away."
"Of course Hiro, I already agreed to this yesterday, right."
So, he finally decided to follow my advice huh. Well then, one less thing for me to worry now thought Crystal as she smirked.
Crystal went to the new Bit-beast Research facility where she had meeting regarding the custody of the artifact she found at a dig in India. Since she was the former head of the Bit-beast of research, India; it was not a something she had to worry about.
She had already acquired the custody this meeting was just a formality to assure them about that the artifact will be safe with her but as new Head of Bit-beast Research, Japan it was something she had to do herself and she had to check the security as well, since this artifact was very important for the mission she was on, it was vague what role it played but she had was a feeling that it was essential.
The meeting went great and then she checked the security of the artifact herself with her secretary as she won't be able to analyze the artifact for few days as it was a new facility and setting the labs up will take some time, but she will make sure that it will be done by the end of this week i.e. in next three days.
"Ma'am, so do you think this will be enough?" asked the secretary.
"Yeah, as of now it's enough." it seems enough but I will keep tabs on everyone working here even my secretary so as to avoid something like what happened PPB during Zagart.
"But I don't understand why that artifact is this much important to you?"
"Well, you don't need to know that, you know. Here, take this documents and find out where Mr. B is and convince him to join us as I need him to work on this artifact with me."
To which the secretary blushed replied "Y...yes ma'am."
Crystal was aware of the crush her secretary harbored for her old friend, so instead of approaching him herself she let her do it, playing a cupid for them.
Later she went to the library of the facility consisting a humongous amount of books related to bit-beasts and dived in to see if she could find something related to that artifact or her mission.
Granger dojo:
Everyone was gathered in dojo's backyard they started with a bit warm up while Kenny checked Hiro's beyblade with Dizzy to see if something was off.
"It seems normal to me. Dizzy can you sense anything off?"
"Well Chief, it might look normal on the outside but on the inside, I feel that Metal-Drigger has been put into a deep slumber and it might be too hard if not impossible to wake him up."
"That's not a very good news, Dizzy."
"Well, Dr. CK's involvement itself shows that the situation is intense and if she suggested him to work his ass off to bring out Metal-drigger and I think he should do."
"Enough with the warm up, I think you two should move towards Beybattle" said Kai after what he felt like was enough warm up exercises.
"I 'll be the ref" volunteered Hilary.
Both Ray and Hiro gathered around the dish "On the count three guys 1...2...3"
"LET IT RIP" shouted Ray and Hiro as they released their beyblades and the battle begins.
No matter kind of person he is, He's a good blader thought Kai as he saw the way Hiro launched his blade in a very balanced and calculated way not giving anything away, not that he expected anything less.
"Go Drigger!"
"Go Metal Drigger!"
*swing low playing in the background*
Both the blades maneuvered the dish repeatedly striking each other, when Ray decides that it's time to be serious.
"You are fast, Ray." complimented Hiro as Ray kept striking him back and forth without giving him any opening.
"Looks like you slacked off since our last match." taunted Ray.
Kai smirked at Ray's attempt to provoke Hiro to bring out his Bit-beast.
"GO RAY! SHOW HIM WHO'S THE BOSS!" cheered Mariah.
"You do know why they are battling, right Mariah?" reminded Hilary as everyone else sweat dropped.
"Its now or never COME OUT DRIGGER, GATLING CLAW!"
Drigger charged at Metal Drigger to wrap it up but Metal Drigger disappeared at the last second.
"Huh, where are you now Hiro?'
"You didn't expected me to lose that quickly, did you?" smirked Hiro.
Hiro's blade was up above the dish.
"WRAP IT UP METAL DRIGGER, METALLIC ROAR!...AHHHHHH ." just as Hiro felt Metal Drigger was about to come out, Zeus interferes, triggering a sharp pain in Hiro's head which made him crouch down and a dark energy emits through him.
"HIRO!" as everyone went towards Hiro to help him, Driggers starts shining too bright disabling them from seeing anything as it lunges towards Hiro.
"NO DRIGGER! DON'T ATTACK HIRO!" shout Ray but Drigger refuses to listen to him as he engulfs Hiro.
As everything returns back to normal, they find Hiro lying unconscious. Kai and Ray take him inside the Dojo.
Hiro woke up after fifteen minutes.
"How long was I out?"
"Fifteen minutes." answered Kai.
"What happened btw? Can you jog my memory a bit, Kenny?" asked Hiro as he saw the troubled expressions on the boy's face.
"Actually, I have two news one is good and one is bad. The good news is that Metal-Drigger almost came out, but the bad news is that Zeus interfered at the exact moment when Metal-drigger was about to come out meaning he won't leave you easily."
"That's not exactly the bad news, you know."
"What do you mean, Hiro?" asked Hilary.
"What I mean is that the reason Zeus broke the temporary seal and interfered with the process is that Zeus is feeling threatened and that we are going on the correct path that means Dr. CK's theory was right as always, not that I doubted her but it's a concrete proof of her theory."
"Yeah, you're right Hiro, but there's one more thing."
"What is it?"
Everyone looked at each other and then Mariah said "Drigger attacked you. Ray tried to stop him, but he disobeyed Ray's order."
"Drigger didn't attack Hiro." said Dizzy attracting everyone's attention to her.
"We all saw it with our eyes, Dizzy." said Hilary.
"Look here, it may seem like Drigger is attacking Hiro but look at these energies. Drigger's energy is combining Metal-Drigger's faint energy and together they are keeping Zeus down and are sealing him back."
"And since Metal-Drigger is a variant of Drigger..." started Hiro.
"It was no issue for them to bond together against Zeus, Dr. CK is a Genius!" exclaimed Kenny.
"Indeed she is." agreed Hiro keeping aside their personal issues, there was no doubt that she was once in centuries phenomenon in the world of Bit-beast research.
"Let's do it then Hiro, let's get that Zeus out of your system!"
While they all were working to free Hiro from Zeus possession, Tyson, Max and Daichi were at Max's Dad's Beyblade shop because "coincidently" Tyson promised Max's dad to help out at the store on the same day (Which btw Mr. Tate doesn't even remember of, but he doesn't complain as who would refuse the help at work?).
After they finish the work Max says that they should return back to Dojo and join others to help Hiro, but Tyson says he wants to get some ice-cream on their way back on which Daichi supports Tyson saying that they do deserve ice-cream after all that work to which Tyson argues saying it was all him and Max and that he didn't do anything leading to them bickering all along the way to Ice-cream vendor.
Max remembered what Ray told him:
*Tyson is avoiding staying here as he wants to stay angry at Hiro but what Crystal said yesterday maybe moved something inside him making it hard for him to stay mad. But it will help Hiro if Tyson forgives him as we've seen how hard Hiro's been working to get his forgiveness and also since Zeus feeds off of negative emotions, after Hiro is forgiven there won't be any negative emotions for Zeus to feed off of.*
After ice-cream Tyson says that they should go to park to which Max straight up refuses.
"No Tyson, we should go back to Dojo."
"Why? Maxie it's such a good day, can't we just hang out at the park for once? And when was the last time we all relaxed at the park worrying about nothing?"
"Yesterday." Max sweat dropped (-_-').
Tyson dropped his head in dismay "I don't want to go home just yet."
"Why don't you wanna go to home Tyson?" asked Daichi.
"Oh I know, is it because you're confused that if you should be mad at Hiro or not, right?"
Tyson folded his hand in front of his chest and turned away "W...What? no way I'm thinking about not being mad at that traitor."
"You stuttered! you never stutter. Come on Tyson, I know you better than that to believe that shit and tell me how long are you planning to be mad at Hiro? and that too after everything you saw yesterday. His been working to get you to forgive him but no, you're being stubborn as ever. Don't you think that maybe he needs you more than ever now?"
"Oh well then, WHAT ABOUT WHEN WE NEEDED HIM THE MOST? WHERE WAS HE?"
"Well, Crystal did tell us the reason why he did it, didn't she?"
"I don't care what Hiro's advicate...adicate was it... -oh, leave it whatever she is- says, you know what if you people want to help him then go but PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!" with that Tyson left himself.
"Tyson..." Daichi tried to stop him but was held back Max.
"Leave him alone Daichi, he needs some time to think. We should go back."
Wow, like his he didn't get enough lectures from his grandpa about it that now his friends were at it too, did no one understood him? and it wasn't like he didn't think about forgiving his brother because according to what he was told by others, Hiro wanted to make him strong but what about him, no one cared that it could've hurt him to see his brother leaving him like that, that how he felt when his brother was accused of being the mastermind of destruction of beyblading world that he grew to love because of his brother, the one who introduced him to the sport.
As Tyson sat on bench at park thinking about all this as his attention went to a small kid playing with an elder kid.
"Nii-chan you can't catch me."
"Oh really." said the elder one as he caught his younger brother and started tickling him.
"Hahahahah...NII-CHAAAANN, hoohaha...st...stop it please." said the boy in-between his giggles.
"Haha...ok let's go back home before it gets too dark."
"Nii-chan... you know what, you are the best nii-chan in the world."
"You really think so? or do you want something?"
"Well I do think so, but if you buy me an ice-cream on the way home, I will think it more than before." said the younger brother acting it all out.
"Um...let me see, ok I'll buy you an ice-cream but promise me that you will eat all the veggies in your plate today."
"Okay nii-chan, I promise." said the younger boy enthusiastically.
Then the scene fades away turns out it was one of the Tyson's memories with his brother.
Tyson holds his face in frustration "What should I do Dragoon?"
Back at the Dojo, Crystal came back at Dojo from work to find them all exhausted and Hiro holding his head as if it were to explode.
"What the hell happen here?"
"Oh Crystal, you came back." said Mariah.
"Yeah, I am back but will anyone tell me what's going on?"
Kenny tells her how every time Metal-Drigger was about to come out Zeus interfered and then Drigger would bond with Metal-Drigger and seal Zeus back.
"Well, the good thing is that I don't pass out anymore."
"You are being awfully positive about it." deadpanned Crystal as she knew that was not what he was truly feeling.
"Well then, tell me what are we doing wrong why after a number of matches we are getting same results."
"Lack of motivation."
"Oh come on, I've been working my ass off whole day, so I don't know what you are talking about."
"Well, you said you don't pass out anymore, right? let me check if it is you getting used to this process or Zeus' control over you is getting weak, till then please take a break you look like you were hit by a truck. Ray can you come here for a second." Ray goes to Crystal and Max tags along.
"Yeah, Crystal."
"Where's Tyson?"
"Well, he refused to come back with me and Daichi asking us to leave him alone."
"I guess this means he hasn't forgiven Hiro yet." saying this Crystal makes a phone call.
As Hiro sat alone in dining area his phone starts ringing, which he picks up without seeing the name.
"Hiro Granger here."
"Hiro..."
"OH... Hi Dad, how are you doing?"
"I'm fine, tell me how are you doing and how's Tyson?"
"Tyson's fine but I... Dad the thing is..." he explains his situation to his father and asks "Dad... I don't know what I am doing wrong...I wish she was..."
"You wish Yoshie was there, right?" asks Bruce.
"Hm...Uh...Yeah Dad, I mean... she...Metal-Drigger was her Bit-beast, right?" Hiro answers reluctantly, he didn't want to make his father feel bad, but words just slipped outta his mouth.
"Hiro, I have told this before and I will tell this again you don't need to be afraid to bring up your mother in front of me thinking that it might hurt me, because it doesn't, I love to talk about Yoshie as she was the most beautiful phase of my life, fondest moments of my life were the ones I had with her and she would want us to talk about her fondly. And yeah, she was Metal-Drigger's owner before you but she never Beybladed, she was more like his guardian before Metal-Drigger would choose it's master. Metal-Drigger choose you when you were born and she was so happy to see that you were the one she had to pass Metal-Drigger to, she was always so proud of you and Tyson..."
"Tyson is not talking to me, Dad. Do you remember what she said to me before leaving us she said 'Take care of Tyson!' What would she think about me now that Tyson hates me and thinks that I am the worst brother he could ask for..." Hiro's voice was heavy now as tears gathers at the corner of his eyes.
"She knows what you did and why you did and she also knows that your intentions were true at heart, that you didn't had any control over what happened with Brooklyn, that you always had Tyson's best interest in your mind so if anything she would be proud of you, just like me. We are proud of both Tyson and you. Now about Tyson, I think he needs some time to process all the things happening around him and you know what, among both of you, you took after me while Tyson is more like Yoshie so he'll come around and even though he says he hates you he loves you just as much as you love and adore him. So, don't worry everything will be alright."
Hiro really needed to hear this, now he understood what Crystal meant by 'Lack of motivation' "T...Thank you so much for always believing in me."
"Don't thank me yet Hiro, first kick out that Zeus and remember that your mother is always with us. Now I need to go back to work. So, Good luck Hiro."
"Thanks Dad." said Hiro with newfound energy in his body. He felt like he could do it this time.
He rubbed his eyes and then went out to announced that he's ready to do it again. Hiro looked more confident than before.
Looks like I should've involved Mr. Granger sooner thinks Crystal.
"Well let's do it once more then, I have a feeling you might just do it this time around. Are you ready, Ray?"
Ray stood up and went towards the dish "You don't need to ask me Crysie."
Both Hiro and Ray readied their launchers.
I have to get out of Zeus' control no matter what, give me strength Mom.
"ON THE COUNT OF THREE GUYS! 1...2...3." announced Daichi this time.
"LET IT RIP!" shouted both Ray and Hiro at the same time.
"What do you think Kai, will he succeed this time?" asked Hilary as they watch Hiro and Ray attacking each other with all their strength.
"Hn, I don't know Hilary, he sure looks more stronger than before, but I don't know if that's enough because I've experienced Zeus' power firsthand he won't be defeated easily." answered Kai.
Finally it seemed like Hiro was being offensive rather than waiting for the opportunity to strike like he was doing before.
"GATLING CLAW MAXIMUMMMMM!" attacked Ray.
"ULTIMATE METALLIC STRIKE!" counterattacked Hiro.
Again, Drigger emerged and as Metal-Drigger started to get out Zeus' started dominating again "AHHHHHHH!" shrieked Hiro "...I won't...let you...overpower me this...time.."
"Y...YOU CAN DO IT HIRO! " shouted Tyson who looked like he came all the way running.
Seeing that his brother is supporting him gave Hiro the strength of million beasts "YOU CAN'T KEEP ME UNDER YOU ANYMORE, COME OUT METAL-DRIGGER!"
With this Metal-Drigger finally woke from the deep slumber Zeus' had put it in causing Zeus' to go berserk and Drigger and Metal-Drigger joined forces against Zeus.
And this is it, now I need to get my part done thought Crystal as she sneaked off out of everyone's view.
"J Raven I need you to help me. NOW!"
"HIROOOOO!" Tyson tried to go towards Hiro, but they all held him back, they could see Drigger and Metal-Drigger battling Zeus' part that previously stationed itself inside Hiro while Hiro crouched down shrieking. Suddenly, they hear a loud cry of a beast attracting their attention towards the sky where they saw a magnificent beast flying towards Metal-Drigger and Drigger started attacking Zeus providing a much-needed backup. Their combined effort not only managed to uproot Zeus from Hiro's system but also destroyed the dark energy in which Hiro was engulfed.
At the end Metal-Drigger went back to Hiro "Welcome back Metal-Drigger" said Hiro as Metal-Drigger stroke his hairs before going back in its bit-chip. Drigger went back to its bit-chip as well and that mysterious bit-beast disappeared in thin air.
"Thank goodness this Zeus thing is finally over now!" said Crystal as she joined back before they noticed her absence and checked Hiro's seal which was now gone for good.
"HIRO!" exclaimed Tyson as he tackled Hiro in giant hug and tears started rolling down his cheeks.
"I...I was... worried f...for ...y...you"
"Tyson...Yo...w...will you forgive me, please." begged Hiro as tears started gathering at the corner of his eyes, he hated showing his weakness in front of others but, right now he didn't cared anymore.
"Only if you buy me an ice-cream." said Tyson still crying in their hug.
Hiro chuckled weakly as he understood Tyson's reference "Okay but you gotta eat your veggies."
Crystal felt herself getting emotional seeing the brothers' together, she then hugged her own brother and praised him "Good Job, White Tiger."
"Oh, I did nothing. It was Drigger."
"Well, it was your determination to help me that made Drigger do what he did today." said Hiro.
"Hn, does anyone know where the third bit-beast came from?" asked Kai when everyone else was too ecstatic to bother about it.
They looked at Kai as if he had grown a pair of head.
"Yeah guys, Kai's right came out of nowhere and the disappeared in thin air." agreed Max.
"It's not like any bit-beast we have seen before, right Dizzy?"
"Well, all I can say that it was strong bit-beast."
"It was an old friend." declared Hiro.
"You mean, you know the master of that bit-beast?"
"Yeah, kind of and I ensure you all they are a good person. Now, can we go inside?"
As they all went inside Tyson apologized Max "Max...Sorry for shouting on you earlier."
"It's okay, buddy." Max brushed it off by hugging Tyson.
"Are you okay, Kai?" asked Hilary as she saw Kai spacing out.
"Hn."
"What is it?" she asked. (A/N: Yes she can successfully interpret the 'Hn' language)
"That bit-beast and it's energy it felt way too familiar to ignore, but just can't remember why it felt familiar."
"Maybe that's a good thing since Hiro said that he knows the master, maybe we can ask him to introduce us to him."
"Hn." he was glad that she understood him like she did as it made it easy for him to express himself without involving lots of words.
"I wonder what we are having for dinner tonight?" wondered Hilary as she and Kai went to living room.
"I am hungry! How long do we have to wait for dinner?" announced Daichi.
Crystal chuckled and said that she and Mariah would start preparing dinner right away.
"It will take time to fix dinner for all of us. I say we order something, my treat." to which everyone agreed.
After dinner Hiro found Crystal alone near the koi pond, he caught her attention by clearing his throat.
"Oh...it's you, did you need something."
"Uh...Thank you for your help with Zeus today."
"No need to thank me. It was my duty like you know, given the responsibility I was bestowed with when I was born."
Well, she did perform her duty but given their personal issues she still did what was a right thing to do, so being the polite person, he pressed "Still, thank you."
She turned to respond to him only to find him already looking at her, they locked eyes "*coughs* You're welcome." replied Crystal as they both blushed at what happened just now. Stupid girl/boy don't forget that you hate him/her they both thought simultaneously.
They sat there in silence until Crystal felt like someone was watching them.
"Who's there?" she asked as she scanned for any intruder in the surrounding.
"What happened?" asked Hiro.
"It felt like we were being watched."
"Did you feel any trace?"
"Uh...No... maybe it's... just some misunderstanding."
"Maybe it was a cat or something."
"Hmm...well how does it feel to have your bit-beast back."
"It feels light, as though a lot of weight, or you could say a burden was lifted off my shoulders."
"Well then, That means we can get down to real work now."
"What do you mean?" Hiro raised a brow to which Crystal smirked.
"I'll tell you later."
"Tell me what you all witnessed."
"Master, they are strong."
"Not stronger than us though, but the beast we saw today..."
The beast chuckled an evil chuckle.
"The Guardian's Bit-beast. But she and her master won't be able to save him this time cuz now I'm stronger than ever before and Dranzer's dead, Muhahaha." laughed the evil Beast.
Author: So, guys chapter 6 down and what do you know I might actually be able to finish it, I hope you all didn't find it bad. I enjoyed writing this chapter, but it was a lot of work.
FYI, Mr. B is an OC but a manga only character, where he's a scientist and is rival of Hiro, but they are pretty good friends as well.
