"The 90s was a decade of cynicism." Cyborg was talking to Bumblebee about his love of the 80s. "Where was the elderly charm of the Golden Girls, or the exciting action of the A-Team?"

"Man, nobody wants to watch a bunch of old dudes drive around in an old van!" Karen criticized the latter show.

"Are you kidding me?! They were commited for a crime they didn't commit!"

"Would you two stop talking about the A-Team?" Nightwing complained. "Bumblebee, I need your help with something."

"Sure, what do you need help with?"

"I want to take Starfire out for a date, but there's so many things to do here that I don't know what to go for."

"I see. Well, tell me something i'd like to know. What was your first kiss experience?"

"Oh." Richard chuckled as he recalled the first kiss. "Starfire and I were playing this 20 questions like matching game with Cyborg, who was playing it up like it was a game show. Both of us were doing it because we claimed that we were just curious, though, I believe it was more than that for both of us. When it was proven that we were the best match for each other and I admitted that I loved her, Starfire just kissed me straight on the mouth right on the spot with a huge smile."

"Oh my gosh, I can totally see that from Star." Karen giggled. "In every romantic movie I've seen, the main guy gets help from his friends. Whoo hoo hoo! I'm so excited! Now, what I'm thinking of is maybe a picnic. We need to choose foods that won't attract either ants or bears."

"Oh, guess I won't be using any honey mustard." He lightly laughed, confusing the heroine.

"Why?"

"Her favorite drink is mustard. Drinks it straight out the bottle."

"Huh, weird. But hey, who am I to judge? Let's get started."

Starfire was meanwhile eating in the cafeteria, enjoying her own lunch when Beast asked behind her,

"Yo Star, whatcha doin'? Eating?" The alien princess slightly jumped before turning to Garfield, Raven and Jinx.

"Oh, friends! Yes, I was just enjoying some camp food. Including the Mystery Meat." All of her friends paled, including the already two grey skinned girls.

"The Mystery Meat?" Jinx gagged, holding his fingers to her lips to hold it in. "I think I saw some crawling around away from the kitchen."

"I have also seen the meat crawling around, but food of questionable sentience is not uncommon on Tamaran. The faster it is, the more fun it is to when we hit with a pulverizer and cook it with our eye beams." Starfire said as she ate some freshly hot and cooked meat. "Galfor was the one who taught me how to hunt by chasing after my prepared meals." Her friends squicked from the fact before Nightwing came in.

"Hey Star. Oh, you just had lunch? I was hoping to ask you out on a picnic date."

"Oh, I would love to go on the date! Do not the worry, I have the room for my nine stomachs."

"Great! I'll see you there!" The two kissed before the Titan leader left.

"Ooooh, a date! Goods luck on that date Star." Beast gave her two thumbs up.

"Just don't overfill yourself with Mystery Meat." Raven warned.

"Oh I could never!" The Tamaranean laughed. "I should get myself ready. I do not wish to let myself look the scuffed up from nature." She floated off to the girls cabin.

Starfire wore a sleeveless, lime-green sun dress, knee-length shorts underneath, and sandals -- along with a wide-brimmed hat. Perfect for the weather outside. She spotted Nightwing as he glanced at the digital clock on his communicator.

"Nightwing!" Starfire called to her boyfriend. He was impressed by her new outfit.

"Whoa, you look beautiful in that. Where did you get it?"

"It was something Jinx suggested if you tried making a move on me."

"I see. In that case, let's go. It's at the perfect spot." Starfire giggled as she let him lead her to the spot, arms entwined. Even though he tried to look calm, Richard felt his heart race at the loving contact between them, and the joyful smile she had, looking up at him with her mesmerizing green eyes from under the brim of her wide brimmed hat.

Once they got to the picnic, they saw Cyborg providing romantic music from his chest, while the picnic was laid out. Bumblebee was watching from a branch, the size of a bee.

"Oh, this is a nice looking picnic. And the music accompaniment is a good touch."

"Thank you." Victor responded to Starfire's compliment. They sat down on the picnic blanket. Nightwing took his mask off, showing his blue eyes.

"Richard, are you not the worried if someone sees you?"

"Ah, but you forget. It's double layer protection. I have the mask, not just on my eyes, but around my whole face. It may not look like that I'm wearing a mask, but it makes my face look more generic, so that, even if my eyes are seen, people do not realize who I am."

"Oh, yes. I must admit that you appear to be very calm, which is not all that often."

"That's because I'm spending quality alone time with you." The Titan leader said as he poured some lemonade. The heroine giggled with a blush as she was handed a cup, and the two drink its refreshing coolness. Once their thirst has been quenched, Richard took out the rest of the picnic, consisting of fruit salads, deviled eggs, potato salad, pasta salad, watermelon, ice cream sandwiches, hotdogs, and chips. It was such a tasty and romantic lunch, where they ate until they felt full, laying on their backs with filled up stomachs.

"That was the delicious, Richard. It has been a while since I ate so much."

"I'm glad you could enjoy it." Nightwing smiled. The mood was interrupted when Starfire gave a deep and loud belch echoing through the forest, stopping Cyborg's music in the process. Every teen looked at each other... and laughed.

"Pardon me. That just escaped from me."

"Don't worry, that was awesome. Let's clean up so that we can take a walk." Nightwing suggested. Starfire cleaned up with him, and they walked through the forest paths, while Cyborg and Bumblebee high fived.

N/A: Admittedly a bit short, but much better of a date than be a creep in the bushes. I don't care if it's for wingman purposes, hiding in a bush behind a dating couple is weird. Or rather anybody.
