Chapter 11: Shikata:

Jackie's POV:

I was training Jade. The problem is, she is too impatient. Uncle was there.

"Have you come to see Jade improve," I asked.

"No, Uncle came to watch comedy."

As I was showing Jade how to take a deep breath, Jade decided to attack the training dummy.

"He was asking for it," says Jade.

Uncle bursts out laughing.

Hammerhead's POV:

I was waiting in an ally. I saw 'er.

"Use must be Shikata," I said.

"Are you the Big Man?"

"No, 'e's my boss. But 'e's willing ta pay use. Awl use got ta do is take awut a may'n and I don't mean awn a date."

"Who is this man," she asks.

"'is name is Jackie Chan. 'e is real pain in da Big May'n's..."

"If I get paid afterwords, I will agree to this."

A Shadowkahn appeaws and shows 'er da money.

"Now, I just need an exact description of this Jackie Chan."

"Awl da infarmation is awn dis piece awv papah."

"Chan will learn what a real nightmare is."

Jackie's POV:

We were all having dinner.

"Look, all I'm saying is that patience is fine, unless the other guy isn't very patient," says Jade.

"Jade, slow and steady wins the race," I said.

"I think you got that backwards," says Dil.

"Wait," says Uncle, "someone is coming in."

Uncle comes to the front desk. "Welcome to Uncle's Rare Finds..."

Uncle is thrown across the room. "Jackie, it is for you."

We saw her.

"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... have we met," I asked.

"They call me Shikata!"

"Woah," says Jade.

"And... what brings you here?"

"Your defeat!"

Shikata then attacked, and I was forced to fight back.

"You are no match for the most skilled fighter the world has ever known!"

"Is that an elected office," I asked jokingly.

We continued to fight.

"I can't believe the Big Man expects me to waste my time with you!"

"So, this is his dirty work," I said, "How 'bout we take this outside."

I then took Shikata outside, where we continued our fight.

"Who is she," asks Jade.

"I don't know," says Chuckie, "but I wouldn't want to mess with her."

Shikata and I kept fighting. I grabbed a kid's skateboard. "I'm sorry, I'll bring it back. Thank you!" I used it as a weapon against Shikata.

"You are more skilled than I thought," says Shikata.

"Thank you."

A bus came and I got out of the way, but Shikata ended up getting caught on the bus.

"We will finish this another time," she said.

"Who the heck is she," I asked.

Hammerhead's POV:

I was waiting. I checked da TV. Nothing good awn. Den Shikata came.

"So, use took awut Chan?"

"Our fight was interrupted, but I have good news for you."

"What?"

"You can tell the Big Man he can keep his money. For a long time, I have been looking for a worthy opponent, and I believe Chan might be the one I was looking for."

"What use trying ta say?"

"The next time Chan and I fight; it will be a battle to the Death!"

"As long as Chan's 'istary, I don't cawe. But I would like ta make a suggestion..."

Jackie's POV:

We were at Section Thirteen. Captain Black was researching my new friend, Shikata.

"She's a dangerous assassin," says Captain Black, "and one thing she's always been looking for is a worthy opponent."

"Now that you mention it," I said, "during our fight, she seemed impressed."

"I have a feeling she's going to want another dance," says Captain Black.

"And I'm guessing she won't stop until the dance is over," I said.

"You can take her," says Jade.

"Jade, the greatest battle is a battle not fought."

"Once again," says Dil, "you make no sense."

Jade's POV:

Later, I was walking outside of Section Thirteen. Then I heard something. I was then running, but it was too late. It was Shikata, and she grabbed me.

Jackie's POV:

I was at Section Thirteen's gym when I got a call.

"Hello," I said.

"Chan, I have your niece. You will meet me on the roof of Salesforce Tower, or I will drop the girl."

Shikata then hangs up.

. . .

I made it to Salesforce Tower and made it to the roof. Shikata was there with a tied-up Jade.

"Shikata," I said, "there is a better way to settle this!"

"Don't be a coward, Chan. We shall battle to the Death!"

"Are you out of your..."

Shikata then attacked me. I had trouble keeping up with her, but I remembered what I told Jade.

"Jade, the greatest battle is a battle not fought."

I also remembered what else I told her.

"Jade, slow and steady wins the race."

I then took a deep breath. Shikata tried to attack me, but I kept dodging.

"Fight me!"

I just kept moving. You see, if I just kept fighting, I'd only give her what she wanted. So, I decided not to. She kept attacking, but I kept dodging.

"You coward!"

"True bravery is not to fight."

Shikata was about to attack again, but I jumped and knocked her down in one kick. I then went over and untied Jade.

"That was awesome," says Jade.

"You see, Jade..."

"Uh... Jackie..."

We looked and saw Shikata, bowing.

"You may finish me off."

"Um... I'd rather not."

"First you humiliate me, then you refuse to kill me? It was a battle to the death!"

"That's what you agreed to. That's not really my thing... What are you doing?"

Shikata goes to the edge of the building.

"If you will not kill me, then I will take my own life."

"What? Shikata, no..."

Shikata jumps, but I saved her.

"You continue to humiliate me?"

"Wow, we really need to lock her up," says Jade.

. . .

Shikata is now locked up in Section Thirteen.

. . .

Jade and I continue with her training, but she's doing a lot better.

"Uncle is proud, but also disappointed!"

In the next chapter, Jackie and the Enforcers will both try to get the Pig Talisman from the Kingpin.
