Chapter 17: Achira:
Random Construction Worker's POV:
My crew and I were drilling underground. One of them won't stop talking about the time a chicken tried to eat him.
"It was a crazy chicken!"
None of us cared. Anyway, I was drilling when I got something.
"What is it," says the chicken guy.
"Looks like some kind of tomb," says the third guy.
I saw a box and walked closer to it. When I touched it, it opened and a weird green lady in a red dress appeared. She had black hair and some kind of crown or tiara. She looks at us and then her face gets ugly, and her arms turn to snakes.
Jackie's POV:
I was training Jade, but she leaps and kicks a dummy.
"What? He was asking for it," says Jade.
"Got it on tape," says Tommy.
"The epic fail," says Phil.
"You know," I said, "maybe you kids would like to learn."
"Not my thing," says Phil.
We then saw Captain Black. He wasn't looking too good.
"Uncle Augustus," says Chuckie, "are you okay?"
"I'm... going to have to call in sick today." Captain Black then falls to the ground.
"We better take him to the med bay," I said.
Shen Du's POV:
I wassss having a meeting with my foolssss, but Fanccccy Dan wassss abssssent.
"Was is 'e," asssskssss Hammerhead.
Fanccccy Dan then came in. "Guys, I don't feel so..." Fanccccy Dan fallssss.
A Shadowkhan brought him over to me, and I took a look.
"Thissss hassss to be the work of Achira," I ssssaid.
"Achoia," asssskssss Hammerhead.
"A former flame of mine," I ssssaid.
"What could she want?" asked an angry Nichang.
"To do what she pleassssessss, sssspreading disssseasssse."
"And she'll be awn awur side," asssskssss Hammerhead.
"No. Let'ssss jusssst ssssay there'ssss a chancccce she might hold a grudge againsssst me."
"Let me guess, use dumped 'er in a rude way."
"Preccccissssely."
Jackie's POV:
The doctors tried to help Captain Black, but they did not know what to do.
"Whatever illness he has," says one doctor, "none of our cures can work."
I then had a thought.

We were at the antique shop and Uncle took a look.
"This is a supernatural disease," says Uncle. "Uncle must get books." Uncle takes a look. "This has to be the work of an ancient demon named Achira. She is the demon spawn of Duaka. Her name is derived from the Mesopotamian word, 'Achira-Teema,' roughly translated to 'Destroyer of Civilizations.' Achira's function is to spread her disease and decay to cities in order to fulfill the 11th prophecy."
"And what is this '11th prophecy'," I asked.
"How am I supposed to know?" asked Uncle. "All Uncle knows is that if Achira is not stopped, all of San Francisco will be very, very sick."
"Then let's go take her down," says Jade.
"Hold it," I said, "what's keeping us safe?"
"Nothing," says Uncle.
"The Horse Talisman," says Tommy, "we could use it to keep ourselves healed."
"Back to Section Thirteen," I said.
. . .
Uncle and I were looking for Achira. Uncle had his chi items.
"Defeating Achira may not be easy," says Uncle, "especially since Uncle does not know how to defeat her."
"That book doesn't have alot of useful information," I said.
"No, book does not."
Achira then appears and hits me with her disease.
"Foolish mortals," she says.
The Horse Talisman then heals me.
"Nice try," I said.
"The Horse Talisman," Achira guesses, "I should've known. You are working with him!"
We looked at each other.
"Who," I asked.
Achira then tried to attack us, but we got out of the way. Uncle hit her with a chi blast. Achira's arms turned into snakes, and we had to dodge them. Jade then comes out of nowhere and kicks Achira.
"Jade, what are you doing here," I asked.
"Relax, I..." Jade then gets sick.
I tried to get out the Horse Talisman to help her, but I then realized it was missing. I looked and saw Achira had it.
"No Horse, no healing." Achira then laughs and leaves.

We were at the antique shop and Jade's in bed.
"Uncle, we have to take Achira down," I said.
"Uncle know that! But... we..." Uncle then gets sick.

I arrived at Section Thirteen and a lot of the agents were getting sick. The kids had to help take care of them.
"How is everyone," I asked.
"Well, Kimi, Dil, and Susie got sick," says Chuckie, "what are we going to do?"
"First, we have to figure out where Achira came from," I said. "I doubt she just decided to move here."
"I hate to say it," says Tommy, "but there is one person that might be able to help."

We were at the cell of Neugog.
"Can you use your mental powers to find Achira," I asked.
"Ahnd vhat vould be in it for me," asks Neugog.
"Umm... fish? It's brain food," I said.
"Zere is one sing I require. A vindow. A VINDOW!" We just stared at him. "Vhat? I get bored ahnd I vould like to see vhat's going on outside."
"Ooookaaay," we all said.
We removed Neugog's helmet, and he used his mental powers to find Achira's mind.
"Zere is a box," says Neugog, "in a tomb, under 19th Afenue..." Neugog then gets sick.
"I have to go," I said.

I arrived at 19th Avenue. I entered the tomb, and I found the box. A hand was on my shoulder, and I screamed and turned around and saw the kids.
"What are you guys doing here," I asked, "I expect this from... Jade."
"Jackie, Achira poisoned my brother," says Tommy.
"And my sister," says Chuckie.
"We wanna help," says Phil.
"Yeah," says Lil.
"Susie's also our friend," says Harold.
"Uh... guys," says Angelica.
"Fools," says Achira, "did you think you could stop me?"
"We... were just here to collect this nice box," I said.
"So, that overgrown lizard did send you!"
"Some guy dumped you," says Angelica, "I can tell because you just called him a lizard."
"You really have no idea, do you?"
"No! We're just here to save the city," I said.
"Well, you will fail!"
Achira kept unleashing her snakes and I kept dodging.
"HOLD STILL!"
"She hasn't layed a snake on him," says Phil.
I managed to leap over to the box and grabbed it.
"Let go of that," says Achira.
Achira then grabbed the box, and we were playing tug-of-war with it. But during the struggle, I started to feel sick. It was the effect of Achira.
"You are feeling ill aren't you," asks Achira, "why don't you take a rest?"
"Why don't you go back inside," I said as I managed to open the box.
"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!"
Achira was then sucked into the box. And when that happened, I started to feel better.

The box was locked in the Section 13 vault where no one could open it again. But none of the agents understood why.
"Hello," says Jade, "we were all infected by a demon!"
"Of course, we were," says Captain Black, "it was just a typical virus."
"Virus nothing," says Uncle, "it was Achira!"
"The manga," asks Captain Black.
"Not Akira," says Jade, "Achira!"
"I got it all on tape," says Tommy.
Captain Black looks. "That's just Angelica in a costume."
"You think I could be that hideous thing?" asked Angelica, sounding insulted.
"Let's just move on," I said.
"Hey Jackie," says Phil, "maybe you could give me some pointers."
"I would like that Phil."
