Chapter 22: Call Cosmosis:

Jackie's POV:

Neugog was up to his old tricks again. He took control of Jade and had her kidnap some of the best scientists in San Francisco. Don't ask how she accomplished that.

"Vell done, child. now it's time to feast!"

We were all tied up, so we couldn't stop him.

"Jade, you have to fight it," I said.

"It's too late, Chan, nothing can..."

Then Cosmosis came and punched Neugog in the face.

"Not so fast, monster!"

"You vill pay for zat!"

Neugog then tried to eat Cosmosis' brain, but Cosmosis grabbed his tongue and wrapped it around Neugog.

"Not again," says Neugog.

Jade is then broken free from Neugog's control.

"Huh... what?"

"Thanks, Cosmosis," says Dil.

"All in a day's work." Cosmosis then flies away.

Little Izzy's POV:

The name's Little Izzy. Don't let the name fool ya. I'm a big guy. I'm part of the Association. An intergalactic crime gang. My boss is Big Izzy. He may be a little guy, but he's still the boss. He ain't much of a talker. He points to Cosmosis.

"I know what you mean, Boss."

Big Izzy then counts to thirteen.

"I get it, Boss, we could use Cosmosis to break into Section Thirteen." Big Izzy nods. "Yeah, he doesn't know us. Good idea."

Big Izzy then gestures me to get the others.

"I'm on it, Boss."

Dil's POV:

I was hanging with Harry and his Wife.

"...and he tried to eat my brain," says Harry.

"I have to be honest, I'm still having second thoughts about all this," says Clanda.

"Relax, Clanda," I said," Harry's doing alright."

"Hey, a ship's coming," says Harry.

Harry switches to Cosmosis and takes me to the location of the ship. A large man comes out.

"Which one of you is Cosmosis?"

"That would be me," says Cosmosis.

"I am Izzoro of the Planet Associo. Our planet is in terrible danger, but the one thing we need has been taken from us."

"What is this item," asks Cosmosis.

"It is known as the Sword of Orion. It's in a place called 'Section Thirteen.'"

"Excuse us," says Cosmosis as he and I walk away. "Dil, do you know anything about a 'Sword of Orion'?"

"I've never heard of it," I said, "but then again, Section Thirteen's got a lot of agents. Maybe one of them has picked it up."

We then walked back to them.

"So, what's so special about this sword," asks Cosmosis.

"We need the Sword to protect our planet from the Ixions. They seek to destroy our planet."

"Well, we'll see what we can do. We happen to be affiliated with Section Thirteen," says Cosmosis.

"Really? That's real lucky."

"I know, right? Let's go, Dil."

Cosmosis grabs on to me and we fly off.

We were at Section Thirteen.

"Sorry guys," says Captain Black, "but I've never heard of this... 'Sword of Orion.' I think these guys are conning you."

"Are you sure," asks Dil.

"I think we would know if we had any sword."

"Well, maybe a sword means something different on their planet."

"Captain Black," says Cosmosis, "maybe we can at least look at the Vault."

Captain Black sighs. "Alright."

We looked at the vault and saw nothing but the talismans. So far, all we've got left is the Dragon and the Tiger. Oh, I just realized there are also a bunch of dangerous alien weapons here. Maybe one of them is the sword.

"What do you think," asks Cosmosis.

"Maybe we should ask that Izzoro guy what the Sword looks like," I said.

Little Izzy's POV:

I saw those two chumps exit a building. Now I know where Section Thirteen is. Now I know where we need to go.

Dil's POV:

We met with Izzoro again.

"This Sword of Orion," says Cosmosis, "is it a literal sword?"

"I'll tell use what da sward awv awrion is," says Izzoro, "I made it up!"

Some aliens dressed like gangsters then tied us up.

"Hey, what gives," I asked.

"Oh no, Dil," says Cosmosis, "Associo? They're The Association. An intergalactic crime gang."

"Dat's right and Big Izzy wants some awv section 13's toys."

"You won't get away with it, Big Izzy," I said.

"I'm Lil' Izzy, 'e's Big Izzy."

We looked and saw Big Izzy and he is short.

I was confused. "But he's... and you're..."

"Doesn't mattah. Thanks, ta use chumps, we now know was Section Thirteen is, and we know 'ow ta get in. We can take da weapons dey 'ave confiscated and use 'em ta take awvah dis town. Even dat Not-so-Big May'n will be warking far us."

"But you don't know how to get in the Vault," I said.

"Good point. Listen, Cosmo, 'elp us in da vawlt, ar yo lil' Awdd Bug will be squashed."

Cosmosis looks at them, then at me and then nods his head.

"Smawt 'ero."

Jackie's POV:

I was reading the paper. Jade was beating Angelica in that game that Dil just invented.

Jade: Go Jade, Go Jade!

Then I saw Cosmosis with some strange-looking people. I decided to follow them.

"If anyone asks," says the big guy, "we're yo new best friends."

That's suspicious.

Cosmosis and his 'new best friends' go to see a guard. "Hey, Jet, do you have anything to say about my gangster-dressed friends?"

"I'm an agent, not a judge." Jet then walks away.

I continued to follow them. Two agents, Owen and Chris, were guarding the vault. The big guy knocks them out. The little guy then points up.

"Use saw da boss," says the big guy, "type in da code!"

Apparently, the little guy is the boss. Cosmosis types in the code and the vault opens. I then kicked the big guy down.

"Would you like to introduce me to your new friends," I asked.

"Jackie, it's not what you think..." Cosmosis begins, but the little guy stops him and points to me. I guess that meant 'get 'im', because the goons came at me.

I ended up fighting them. The big guy gets up.

"Don't farget," he says, "we still got da kid!"

The Kid? Wait, they have Dil!

Dil's POV:

I was still being held hostage by Big Izzy's goons. Man, I'm bored. I then had an idea.

"Look, you guys gotta let me go," I said.

"And why should we," asks one goon.

"Because my Mom's gonna have a baby!"

"Awh, well, in dat case, use'a free ta go."

"Yeah, da kid would wanna meet deoi new big brothah."

I ran. I cannot believe they fell for it.

Jackie's POV:

I managed to take down the goons. Including Little Izzy. I then looked at Big Izzy. He tugged on Cosmosis' cape and pointed at me.

"You... you want me to hurt Jackie?"

Big Izzy nods.

Cosmosis looks at me.

I didn't know what to expect. Then Dil comes in.

"Hey guys," says Dil, "I managed to escape. Big Izzy trusted some dumb guys to watch me."

Cosmosis and I then looked at Big Izzy. He tries to run, but Cosmosis grabs him and puts him in the trash.

Big Izzy and his goons were then arrested.

"I still don't get how Captain Black can believe in aliens and not magic," says Phil.

"Also, where did the alien weapons come from," asks Chuckie.

"You'd be surprised," says Captain Black.

"Sorry about everything," says Cosmosis.

"Those guys were using you," I said, "plus, you were trying to protect Dil."

"Yeah, we all understand," says Tommy.

"Y'know, guys," says Dil, "Little Izzy gave me an idea. Call me 'Odd Dragonfly'!"

"You're right about the odd part," says Angelica.

We all then laugh.

In the next chapter, while looking for the Dragon Talisman, Jackie meets Ghost Rider.
