Chapter 26: Enter the Dragon (2):
Shen Du's POV - Flashback:
I had my witch, Nichang, kill sssso many for me, and how she doessss it issss sssso beautiful. China wassss mine. Then I had a challenge from Lo Pei. I thought I could end him.
Jackie's POV - Present:
Spider-Man and Cosmosis got in.
"I thought you were hunting down Nichang," says Spider-Man.
"I sensed something more important," says Ghost Rider, "him!" Spider-Man and Cosmosis see the Big Man, who is now a living dragon statue.
"That... must be the Ultimate Evil Lo Pei was talking about," says Spider-Man.
"Well, Ah'll be," says Montana.
"Welcome to Earth," says Ox.
"Good to see you back on your feet," says Fancy Dan.
"Now, I believe I was promised a rewawd," says Hammerhead.
"Exccccept one thing, Hammerhead," the Big Man says, "you did not provide me with the talissssmanssss. They were delivered by Jackie Chan. You get no treassssure. Now, there issss one more thing I musssst contend with." The Big Man levitates Tohru towards him. "I know the real reasssson you are here."
"What?"
"Your director ssssent you to enssssure I wouldn't have my power." The Big Man then flicks him away.
Spider-Man tries to web him, but the Big Man zaps him with his heat vision. Cosmosis tries to use his strength, but the Big Man was stronger.
"Wait a minute, we spent all this time looking for the talismans and trying to figure out who the Big Man is, and it turns out that the Big Man is a dragon that was turned into a statue and that the talismans are actually a part of him," says Dil.
"Yessss, as I wassss pretty clear in my ssssong," says the Big Man, who looks annoyed.
"O-okay, you're actually a dragon that was turned into a statue and the talismans have actually been a part of you this whole time."
"Yessss."
"And your..."
"Who... what are you," I asked.
"You know me as the Big Man, but I am alsssso the keeper of the talissssmanssss. I am the apocalypsssse of which legend sssspeakssss. And I am, for oncccce and for all, your executioner."
The Ghost Rider gets in the way. The Big Man roars, grabs Nichang, and flies away. Captain Black arrives just in time to see him.
"We just came to arrest the Big Man," says Captain Black, "what was that?"
"The Big Man," says Tommy.
"He used to be a statue," says Jade.
Captain Black then turns around and sees Ghost Rider and screams.
. . .
We were at the Antique Shop.
"Did the demon have any specific markings," asks Uncle.
"Red eyes, great big claws, and razor-sharp teeth aren't specific enough for you?" asked Captain Black.
"Thousands of Demon Sorcerers have existed throughout history," says Uncle. "I need more information. A symbol, a name, anything!"
"There are more than one," says Angelica.
Tohru comes in.
"Uncle Tohru," says Kimi.
"Go away," I said, "we have no more talismans!"
"The Demon's name, Shen Du," says Tohru.
. . .
"Shen Du was the evil warlord of a vast kingdom. He was imprisoned by his subjects and the twelve talismans, from which he gained his powers, were scattered to the winds. He vowed to return one day, not only to resurrect his palace but to conjure dragon minions to wreak his vengeance on the descendants of those who rebelled against him. By destroying all of Asia," says Uncle.
"But you Chans, as well as One of Phil's Dads, One of Lil's Moms, Kimi and Tohru, are from Asia," says Dil.
"Did you know that last part," says Tommy.
"I was trying to keep him from coming alive," says Tohru. "The Dark Hand's main goal is to eliminate all magic from the world."
"So, how do we stop this guy," asks Spider-Man.
"Magic must defeat magic," says Uncle, "come."
Shen Du's POV:
Nichang and I were on our way to free my dragon minionssss.
"With your powers back, nothing can stop you. You used them to conquer China once..."
"I think it'ssss time you knew the truth, Nichang. I didn't take it by forcccce, but by making a deal. You were a ssssick infant, and your father needed help. I offered to ssssave you in exchange for hissss empire."
"But how could my father... I was a princess?"
"Indeed, you were."
"My Lord, when we get there and after unleashing your dragon minions onto all of Asia, I am going to need to lie down."
That wassss a different reaction to the truth than how I thought she wassss going to react to the truth in my head.
Jackie's POV:
We were getting ready to face Section Thirteen. The kids had to stay behind.
"Jackie, Phil, Lil, Kimi, and I have families there," says Jade.
"It's safer this way," I said, "besides, I have Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Cosmosis, and Atlas..."
"I'm out of here. I don't care what some dragon does. It means fewer humans." He flies off.
"Ooookaaay... Well, we still have Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, and Cosmosis."
Hammerhead's POV:
Da enfarcers and I were in awur cell. We saw everyone was leaving. Time ta make my muduh fuck'n move. Da cell's supposed ta be strong enough so my muduh fuck'n 'ead wouldn't break trough. Luckily, I'ave a surprise. I called in a favar. We 'eawd some people get knocked awut.
"Boys, say 'ello ta Silvah Sable," I said.
She uses some acid to melt the bars.
"Hooaah is she helpin' us," asks Montana.
Sable and me den shawe a kiss.
"Never mind," says Montana.
"Let's go," I said.
Jade's POV:
We were all in my room.
"We should be helping," I said.
"Maybe we should leave this one to the adults," says Kimi. "I mean, Shen Du is kind of, you know, a dragon!"
"It's not just my family," I said, "what about Phil's grandparents, Lil's grandparents, your dad, and your dad's fiancée?"
"How are we even..."
"Hey, is that Hammerhead, Montana, Fancy Dan, Ox, and a lady in silver?" asked Dil.
"We follow them," I said.
Jackie's POV:
We were on a plane ride to China. Uncle was in the bathroom.
"You've been in the lavoratory since take off."
"That is right! Laboratory! Do you want Jackie to defeat the evil demon? Yes? Then go away! Allow Uncle to work!"
Me, Captain Black, Spider-Man, Cosmosis, and even Ghost Rider all look at each other in confusion.
Jade's POV:
We're in one of Section Thirteen's jets, which was stolen by Hammerhead, his apparent girlfriend, and the Enforcers.
I noticed Kimi was looking at a picture of her family, which made me take out a picture of me, my parents, my aunt, my uncle, my cousin, and my grandmother.
"Don't worry everyone, we're coming."
Jackie's POV:
We arrived at the spot.
"Behold the Palace," says Uncle.
"I told you we should've taken that last turn in South Korea," says Spider-Man.
"Where," ask Captain Black.
"Here, where the inscriptions indicated."
"Look, it's almost midnight..."
Shen Du and Nichang arrive.
"Normally, the palacccce can risssse itsssself, but on Chinesssse New Year'ssss Eve and ssssincccce it issss the ssssummer," says Shen Du, "you can ssssummon it as the former Princcccessssss."
"Yes, my Lord."
"Nichang was a princess," I was shocked.
Uncle starts looking through books. "There is nothing about that here!"
Nichang then makes the palace rise.
"Never question the inscriptions," says Uncle as we look shocked at that.
"Well then, let's go." says Spider-Man as he and Cosmosis try to attack, but something freezes them.
"Superpowered beings cannot just walk in," says Uncle, as we see Shen Du tearing a portal out of nothing.
"What is Shen Du doing, Uncle," I ask.
"Releasing his dragon minions," says Uncle, as we see eight red eyes in the portal that Shen Du made.
We saw Shen Du raising his arms in triumph as Nichang stood there with her arms crossed while smiling.
"Let's turn on the heat," says Captain Black, as he apparently has weapons ready to aim at Shen Du.
"No, Shen Du is immortal," says Uncle as Captain Black and his men put down their weapons. "We'll need a way to bring one in without this strange field blocking them."
"Hmm." I then looked at Ghost Rider. "What size jacket is that?"

Shen Du was about to release his dragons.
"SSSSoon, my witch and my warriorssss, midnight drawssss near," says Shen Du.
"Shen Du," I shouted.
"Jackie Chan. Do you really think you can sssstop me? You don't have a ghosssst of a chancccce."
"Funny you should say that." I then turned into the Ghost Rider. "Your reign of terror ends now!"
Shen Du noticed Nichang hiding and decided to fight me on his own.
Uncle's POV:
Uncle devised a formula for removing talismans, but Jackie may not require it. With Ghost Rider powers, he can remove talismans.
"Hey, I just realized I could've just turned human and gone through," says Reyes. "Also, why does the palace have a field for super-powered beings anyway?"
Jackie's POV:
"You're afraid of the Spirit of Vengeance, aren't you," I said.
"You don't even know how to control it, Chan."
I then hit him with my chain, knocking the Sheep Talisman out.
Tommy's POV:
We arrived. I saw the Sheep Talisman on the ground and picked it up.
"What does this one do again?" I was in Astral Projection. "Now I remember."
Uncle's POV:
"Those kids are down there and one of them is out cold! Men," says Captain Black as he and his men aim weapons at Shen Du.
"Aiiee-yaaaahh! No! Magic must defeat magic," says Uncle, and once again, Captain Black and the men put their weapons down.
Tommy's POV:
I always wondered why Shen Du would want to use Astral Projection in the first place.
"TOMMY! WAKE UP!" shouted Phil as I saw Shen Du kneeling before my body and sniffing it which made me confused about it.
"Hmmm, fresh meat," says Shen Du, as I heard uncomforting noises as Shen Du's body rumbled with hunger.
I quickly got back into my body and dodged Shen Du's claws. I think Shen Du's the only one who noticed us as Ghost Rider slashes through Shen Du's back, which made Shen Du turn around and fight him.
Jackie's POV:
Shen Du and I continued to fight. I used my chain to get another talisman out of him. It was the Monkey.
Dil's POV:
I grabbed the Monkey Talisman and used it to turn Shen Du into a "Rabbit!" Shen Du's now a rabbit. There, Jackie Rider noticed us and we realized he was Ghost Rider.
"You can borrow the Ghost Rider powers," says Jade, "can I try them next?"
"No and you should not be here," I said.
"That's Jackie alright," says Jade.
"Cute," says Kimi as she looks down at the Shen Du Rabbit, but then the Shen Du Rabbit tries to use his heat beam eyes on us and then turns invisible.
"Invisibility," says Angelica as we look around for the Shen Du Rabbit.
The Shen Du Rabbit then grabbed the talisman and turned back to normal. "Monkey ssssee, monkey do!" Shen Du tried to turn us into monkeys.
Jackie's POV:
I hit Shen Du with my chain again and the Dragon Talisman came out. Kimi grabbed it and used it against Shen Du, blasting a hole in him.
"Lord Shen Du," says Nichang.
The hole heals as Shen Du looks at Kimi.
"You cannot harm me, Child of the Left Eye. The Horsssse issss the healer," says Shen Du. He then ran past us.
"And the rabbit is the speed," says Chuckie, but then a dragon roars behind him, which causes him to scream. Luckily, he didn't get hurt or worse.
"Child of the Left Eye, what is he talking about," ask Kimi.
I then hit Shen Du with my chain and the Ox Talisman came out. Chuckie had that and used it to punch Shen Du. Shen Du then slams his fists on the ground, and everyone drops their talisman. I was about to attack, but...
"Turn off the sssspirit power," says Shen Du as he holds up Lil, "or thissss one diessss!"
I then did what he said. I turned back into me as he gently put Lil down.
Shen Du then starts absorbing the talismans. I then got out the formula and put it on. It made my hands glow. I then jumped on him. Jade finds the formula, puts it on, and passes it around.
"Let's go save some lives," says Jade.
Uncle's POV:
"That tears it, men..." Uncle knocks Captain Black out.
"Who else wants a piece of Uncle."
Everyone puts weapon down.
Jackie's POV:
Tommy pulls out the Dragon, Dil pulls out the Monkey, Chuckie pulls out the Ox, Kimi pulls out the Tiger, Phil pulls out the Rabbit, Lil pulls out the Rooster, Angelica pulls out the Snake, Susie pulls out the Sheep, Harold pulls out the Pig, Jade pulls out the Dog, and I pull out the Rat. Shen Du was then turned back to normal. All that was left was the Horse.
Uncle's POV:
Men cheers because Shen Du was defeated.
"What happened?" asks Captain Black as Uncle turns around to face the men.
"See, what have we learn," Uncle ask.
"Magic must defeat magic," Men say in unison, groaning monotones.
Shen Du's POV - Flashback:
I wassss sssseeking the ssssoul of a beautiful maiden, but it wassss a trap made by Lo Pei. He casssst a sssspell that turned me into a sssstatue.
"I shall take your talismans and hide them in different temples and tombs," ssssayssss Lo Pei, "and I will hide your statue in a mine in the West."
Jackie's POV - Present:
I took the Horse Talisman from Shen Du.
"We just beat a demon," says Phil.
"I like him better this way," says Angelica.
Nichang was about to attack us, but Chuckie used the ox's strength to throw her away.
"Thissss issss far from over. I will have my revenge if it takessss another ssssix hundred yearssss," says Shen Du.
"Tch, no rat means you're just a statue," says Jade, "and no dog means you're not immortal."
Jade then blows Shen Du up. The temple started collapsing. As we were running, we lost the talismans.
And I swear I heard Shen Du's last words being Nichang, but it must be my imagination.
. . .
When we got back.
"Can I have the spirit back," asks Reyes.
I then touched him, and the power returned to him.
Spider-Man and Cosmosis could move again.
"What did we miss," asks Spider-Man.
Uncle then hits me on the head.
"You destroyed the demon! Yin and Yang! Now the world's out of balance! Nobody told you to destroy the demon!"
"Jade did it," I said as Jade look at me angrily.
"Now there is a void for a new, stronger evil to fill."
Hammerhead's POV:
We awl got awut from da doit.
"Hey Baws," says Montana, "check this out."
We saw da talismans.
Nichang:
I woke up and got out of the dirt and saw the severed statue head of my master. I grabbed it and cradled it in my arms with tears starting to form in my eyes as I knew that the one person who I actually truly loved for centuries was gone.
Jackie's POV:
We were all back at the antique shop, celebrating our victory.
"So, what's gonna happen with Uncle Tohru," asks Kimi.
"He will be working here," says Uncle.
"Yeah, that's safe," says Phil, "what about the Dark Hand?"
"They fired me when Shen Du was awakened."
We all then heard a hissing sound. It kind of sounded like Shen Du. Uncle retrieved his blowfish. We were all prepared. When Jade opened the door, it was Angelica.
"Got'cha!"
We all laughed.
Well, that's it for Season 1. In the next season, the rest of the Demon Sorcerers will appear. Also, the J-Team will be introduced. Plus, Finn, Chow, Ratso, and Hak Foo will appear. Also, Godzilla, plus the Jumanji board game.
