After everything he'd been through, Tammo was exhausted. He just couldn't keep his eyes open. He fought to stay awake, but he couldn't prevent himself from dropping off to sleep, right there on the spaceship floor in the midst of all his friends. And when he fell asleep, he had a strange dream...

In the dream, Tammo was standing in what appeared to be some sort of Gem command center. Yellow Diamond was there, sitting in a chair and gazing at a giant computer screen. The image on the screen showed various Gem dropships flying towards a planet that looked a lot like Earth.

Tammo squealed excitedly. "Whoa, cool! Yellow! Hey, Yellow!"

Yellow Diamond swiveled her chair around to face him. "Oh, you're still here," she said.

"What are you doing?" Tammo asked.

"I'm commanding the dropships to colonize this planet," said Yellow Diamond.

"I wanna command a dropship!" Tammo cried.

"Well, when you have your own colony, you can command whatever you want," she told him.

"I want a colony! I want one now," Tammo whined.

Ignoring him, Yellow Diamond pressed one of the buttons on the screen. "What are you doing now?" Tammo demanded.

"I'm contacting the leader of the fleet," Yellow said.

"Let me do it!" Tammo began pressing random buttons on the screen.

Angrily, Yellow Diamond grabbed his arm. "Don't touch that!"

Tsmmo pulled his arm back. "Why not? You have so many worlds and I don't even have one!" He stomped his foot. "It's not fair! I. Want. One!" He stomped again. "I want my own army! I want my own planet! I deserve it! I'm just as important as you!"

"Then why don't you act like it, Pink?" Yellow Diamond said.

Tammo stamped away from her and went over to a glass window. He could see his reflection in the window, but he didn't look like himself. Instead, he saw a Gem with bubblegum pink skin, deep pink eyes with diamond shaped pupils, and pale pink hair. She was Pink Diamond!

Next thing Tammo knew, Amethyst was shaking him awake. He sat up. He saw everybeast looking at him in concern.

"Are you okay, Tamm?" Amethyst asked in concern. "You were moaning in your sleep and thrashing around!"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Tammo said. "I was just having this weird dream."

"What sort of dream?" Pasque asked.

"Was it about Martin the Warrior?" Joshy wanted to know.

Tammo shook his head. "No. I think it was about Pink Diamond."

"You mean you saw Pink Diamond in your dream?" said Amethyst.

"More like I was her, actually. It was as if I was reliving one of Pink's memories."

"How did you know it was Pink Diamond's memory?" said Pasque.

Tammo considered. "Can't say, really, just a sort of feeling I had, wot." He looked at Garnet. "I say, what if Pink Diamond is still out there somewhere? What if she wasn't really killed after all?"

Garnet placed a hand on his shoulder. "Pink's gone, Tamm. Your mother made sure of that."

Once again, just as in Chapter 31, Pearl opened her mouth to speak, but it abruptly snapped shut again. Hardly anybeast noticed this, because they were all staring at Tammo, but Joshy Stag Hare happened to be looking at Pearl at that moment. He wondered why her mouth had suddenly closed. He wondered, but he said nothing.
