Chapter Ten

Part One: Good Morning, Mr. CEO

December 2, 2012 – Casey Home Office
He ended up waking up early today, so early that he actually had a couple hours before Alex normally woke up, which is precisely why he decided that he was going to do something other than just stay in bed and relax with his wife. Yes, would he prefer to be up there? Holding his wife in his arms, as they cuddle up to each other? Maybe even have sex with the woman of his dreams? Of course, he'd love that. However, that was not something he was going to do today; it just wasn't in his personality, even when he's a newlywed. Rather, he was going to just take a moment to do what he usually does each and every morning: he was going to check his e-mail and reply to some of them prior to Alex waking up. Though, that didn't mean that he was going all out like he normally does; all out being him wearing a suit even when he's working at his home office. Ever since he's been with Alex, she's changed him for the better; she's made him realize that you don't need to wear suits when you work from your home office, so he wasn't wearing a suit here at home.

Oddly enough, he was wearing the last thing you'd ever see him normally wear while he's working on the company; he was wearing comfortable sweats right now. Comfortable sweats which were easy to take off, as he knew that he was going to be taking them off when Alex is awake. And so far, he hasn't heard anything form upstairs, which can only mean that Alex is still asleep in their room this Sunday morning. Though, the same couldn't be said for his sister, who just walked up to the door of his office with some cups of coffee. "It's Sunday, and you only got married 48 hours ago; and you're already back at work, in your home office?" Turning his head to look up at his sister, Matt smiled when he saw that she brought some coffee. "Yeah, I couldn't sleep. Alex is still passed out, so I decided to just come do stuff that I normally do. Try and figure out a new routine for myself now that I'm married." Christie agreed with her brother as he said that, well aware that he was going to have to change his routine when it came to how he spends his day.

And that's precisely why she decided to bring him some coffee. "Here." Matt nodded, smiling as his sister gave him some coffee. "Thanks." Christie nodded, before pulling out the chair in front of his desk to sit down. "So, what are you working on?" Matt sighed. "I'm just looking at the designs for the Coachella Valley project. I'm trying to figure things out since we want to add in some retail space there." Christie agreed with her brother as he said that. "I hope you remember the deal we came up with. I get to have retail space in that project." Matt agreed with his sister. "I promise. We're going to turn the model home into some space for us. Have a little meeting space there, with a boutique for you. I'm trying to also get a deal with a local convenience store to try and add in a shop there so that they don't have to go too far. But, I also want to have an office there. Maybe then, the employees who live in the Coachella Valley area can work there, meaning we have more space in the Los Angeles office to get more staff." Christie agreed with her brother.

After all, she likes how he thinks. "We could always just build an office out there, giving priority to applicants who live in the Casey homes there." Matt smiled as he liked that idea. "Now, that's an idea. I mean, the office is still something I'm debating as it would mean more travel for me should I need to go out there, which is the last thing I want in the future when…" Matt took a breath, as he didn't want to say anything. "When you have kids, I already know you want some. Wait, is Alex…" Matt was shocked. "Oh, god no. At least, not that I know of. Christie, we've been back together for like a week at the most." Christie agreed with her brother. "Yet, you're already married and living like nothing happened." Matt sighed. "Because I don't want to make a big deal out of it." Looking at her brother, Christie shook her head (while also taking a sip of her coffee). "Matt, you NEED to make a big deal out of it. I mean, you got MARRIED for crying out loud! And you said that Alex is THE ONE. That means that you guys need to celebrate." Matt smiled.

After all, that's the truth. "We're just in an awkward position right now." Christie was confused. "What do you mean?" Matt sighed. "We don't want it hitting the press too soon after my public breakup with Hallie…" Christie understood right away. "So that it doesn't look like you were cheating on Hallie, even though you were." Matt agreed. "I mean, Alex does want to create a name for herself as something other than a model or as my wife." Christie smiled when Matt said that. "By the way, she can always design for me. I would be honored to take her on, and we can even work together. And I promise, I won't put you in the middle." Matt laughed as he leaned against his desk. "Christie, there is no middle between you and Alex. You're my sister, Alex is my wife and soulmate." Christie was surprised to hear Matt say that. "Soulmate? Really?" Matt nodded. "Yeah, I'm in love with her. There's just something about her that screams permanent. Something that makes me want to work a 9-to-5 job. Be home more." Christie smirked as Matt said that.

After all, she had an idea why that may be the case. "You sure it's not the fact that you're married to a lingerie model?" Matt shook his head as Christie asked him that question. "Not until I have kids." Christie smiled. "When are you guys thinking about starting?" Matt shrugged. "All I know, is that it's going to happen. We might wait a bit though, as there's some things we need to do together." Christie agreed. "Like take a honeymoon?" Matt sighed. "I'm thinking more like…I have to take my wife out in public, while trying to make sure she isn't overwhelmed." Christie sighed as her brother said that, clearly able to tell that it was something that was worrying him. "Something happen?" Matt bit his lip. "Had a bad dream last night. We went out in public, and we came home early for her to cry in my arms all night. I'm just worried that'll happen now." Christie agreed, understanding where her brother is coming from; after all, that's the last thing he wants to have happen to Alex when he loves her as much as he does. He loves her more than Hallie.

That's something that Christie has always known about Alex; she's always been the one that Matt has truly loved as they have a real connection with each other; one that involves him wanting to protect her. "Matt, you already know that you can't protect her forever. Someday, she's going to want to go out alone and have to deal with that. But, I think that you coming here to LA will help because Chicago media know about your previous engagement, not the LA media. We aren't exactly national news." Matt agreed with his sister, well aware that was the case. "And the company? What about our silent investors? Are they going to be worried?" Christie smiled again, as she already took care of that. "You'll be happy to know that I already spoke to all of our partners and investors, and they all know the truth and background about the situation. They are ready for the news to break, and they send their sincerest congratulations on you guys getting married and starting your new life with each other." Matt smiled, as he loved the sound of that.

He loves that he has the investors on board, as that's something he was worried about; whether the investors (who don't own part of the company, but instead own parts of projects) might get worried with the changes and the possibility of a scandal coming to the company. "Honestly, you really have nothing to worry about since they've dealt with a lot worse. Now, what are you thinking when it comes to that half-brother stuff?" Matt sighed. "Honestly, I love this life we have; but, I wouldn't put it past dad." Christie agreed with her brother. "By the way, I've apologized for not having believed you, right?" Matt sighed. "Can we talk about it? Because Alex really got riled up about it yesterday. I guess…it's also me wanting to protect Alex. I mean, I don't want the two most important women in my world fighting. Christie, it's been me and you for the longest time; but now, I have Alex and I don't want to have to choose my wife over my sister. We're basically alone in the world." Christie agreed with her brother, well aware that was the case.

Which is when she realized. "By the way, sorry about how this affects mom." Matt sighed, well aware of what she's talking about; how her being here may mean that their mom can't get parole. "I know, this is all happening at the same time. I don't know what to do when it comes to that. Do you think we can petition to the Illinois Parole Board to let her do her parole here in California?" Christie shrugged. "Do you want me to reach out to her lawyer and see whether that's a possibility? I just don't want you to have to worry about this, when you clearly would rather just take it easy and concentrate eon your marriage right now." And that was when Matt's new wife decided to join the party. "Speaking of newlywed, there's my new husband." Turning their heads, Matt, and Christie both smiled at Alex. "Hey you." Leaning against the doorframe, Alex looked at her husband. "Is there a reason why you aren't upstairs, in bed with me right now?" Matt smiled. "Couldn't sleep. Decided to come do some e-mails." Alex agreed with her husband.

After all, she knew that him doing e-mails always calms him down so that he can fall back asleep. "Well, I just wanted to let you know that I'm awake. If you want to keep writing e-mails, then go ahead." Christie then got up, smiling as she walked over to Alex. "First, come here." Alex agreed with Christie, before making her way over to her sister-in-law; prior to hugging her. "Morning." Christie agreed with Alex. "Me and Matt were just talking about how you want to design, maybe?" Alex bit her lip as she heard Christie say that. "I'm still thinking about it. We just got married, and things are still fluid. Can we maybe revisit it in the new year?" Christie could clearly tell that Alex wasn't ready to commit yet, which was fine. "Hey, I can see you're not ready to commit and that's fine. Just take your time and know that there's no rush." Matt agreed, echoing what his sister told his wife. "She's right babe, there's no rush. We have time to talk about it all you want." Turning her head, Alex smiled as she looked at her loving husband.

And speaking of her husband, she'd like to have a moment alone with him; so, she turned to look at her sister-in-law. "Matt told me about this great tea that you make. I told him I wanted to try it someday." Christie smiled as Alex said that. "I'll go make some for us." Alex smiled, as that's precisely what she wants. "Thanks Christie. And, by the way, I hope things work out with you and Jim." Christie then looked at her brother. "I don't want to hear a peep out of you when it comes to divorcing my husband, especially when I have a kid. Until you have kids, you have nothing to say." Matt agreed with his sister as she told him that. "Oh, are you coming to the meeting on Tuesday in Coachella Valley?" Matt bit his lip. "I don't think so, can you take it by yourself? I think the most I'm going to do when it comes to work right now, is stuff that I can do from home." Christie agreed with her brother. "Got it." Christie then smiled as she looked at Alex. "Congrats again to you both, by the way." Alex and Matt both agreed as Christie walked away.

Meanwhile, Alex closed the door behind her sister-in-law so that she and her husband can have some alone time. "How long have you been awake?" Matt sighed. "Maybe an hour and a half, two hours." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, before making her way over to him in her tank top and short shorts; the new wife wanting to please her husband a bit. "I have to say, I do like the sight of you wearing this." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, before walking up to him at his desk; prior to pushing him back away from it so that she can sit down. And sit down she did, while moving her legs next to him on his chair. Placing her hands on his chest as soon as she was on the chair with him, Alex smiled as she cuddled up to him and looked into his eyes. "Hi handsome." Matt smirked as he heard Alex say that, before leaning in and kissing his wife softly. "God, you are so gorgeous, and I am such a lucky man to have you as my wife." Alex agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case. "Then why aren't you showing me that in bed?"

Matt smirked as Alex said that. "How about you go up to our bed? I'll be right up?" Alex agreed with Matt, smirking as she leaned in and kissed her husband softly, while also getting up so that she can walk away. "Don't be long." Matt agreed with his wife, smirking as he watched her walk away, while also going to finish with his e-mails. After all, the faster he's done with his e-mails, the faster he's back with his wife in bed; just taking it easy and concentrating on how much he loves her, which is what they plan on doing.

Part Two: Good Morning, Lover

Casey Primary Suite – He made sure the get undressed for Alex the moment he came upstairs to their room, especially when he saw just what she was wearing for him; how she was just wearing her lingerie for him as she stood at the railing on their balcony this morning while she overlooked the ocean. And Matt had to say, damn does his wife look really sexy as she does that; so much so, that he plans on making his way out there with her rather than just get in bed. Sure, his wife told him that she wants him in bed; but the truth is, she just wants him to herself. And honestly, he doesn't see anything wrong with that; they just got married two days earlier, which explains why Alex wants him to herself. He just hopes that he didn't make her mad by going to the office. "You mad at me?" Turning around to look at her husband when he asked her whether she was mad at him, Alex sighed as she invited him to come join her on the balcony. "Baby, it's Sunday and you were working. I get you're a CEO, but…you're supposed to be my husband now."

Matt agreed with his wife as she told him that, having figured that was the response he was going to get from Alex; a response he finds completely reasonable due to the fact that this is where he should be right now. He should be holding his wife close to him, so that's precisely what he's doing now that he's back up here with her. Back in her arms, cuddling up to her on the balcony off their room; just like Alex is doing the same as she placed her hand on his toned chest and laid her head down. Meanwhile, Matt wrapped his arm around her and placed his hand on her back as he pressed his lips to her forehead. "I'm sorry babe." Alex agreed with Matt as she looked up at him and smiled. "It's okay, I know you're a CEO. It's second nature to you." Matt agreed with his wife. "I promise, I'm going to try and adjust so that I get used to being here with you more often." Alex agreed with her husband and smiled. "Good, because I'm going to need that when we have a baby." Matt just looked at his wife as she said that, a bit surprised.

After all, was she telling him that she was pregnant? "Oh my god, are you…" Alex shook her head. "Not yet. Baby, I just want you to be ready. I mean, I'm going to want you up here with me when we have a baby. You can't be downstairs when I'm going to need you up here with me." Matt nodded, well aware that's the truth. "I know, and I apologize." Alex nodded, smiling as she stared up into his eyes; meanwhile, Matt bent down and kissed the woman he loves nice and slowly. "Do you want anything right now?" Alex smiled as she placed her hands on his chest and nodded, as she wants her husband; something Matt knew the minute she smiled at him the way she just smiled at him. After which, he proceeded to pick his wife up in his arms and just smiled as he wrapped her legs around his waist and carried her towards their bed so that he can take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams, his wife, the love of his life, Ms. Alexandra Marie Casey. Because that's precisely who Alex is. She's the love of his life, and his wife for the rest of his life.

–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

The feeling of Matt's strong hands on her body now that they were in bed with each other this morning, it made her going downstairs worth it; because it was just her husband's way of showing her just how much he truly loves her. Of him showing her that she's the love of his life, and that she's the only woman on his mind; even when there's other women in the room that can have his attention. But to Matt, there's only one woman on his mind; and it's the woman he's currently admiring as he stared into her gorgeous eyes right now. The woman he just married and loves with all his heart, which is why he truly hates how he made her wake up alone without him this morning. "I hope you know how truly sorry I am for how I made you wake up without me." Matt said, as he found himself taking things nice and slow with his wife now that they were both naked in bed with each other this morning. "Oh, I know that Matt…." Alex said, her sentence ending in a moan after her husband thrusted into her; while she got close to him and grabbed the back of his head.

Meanwhile, Matt moved his hands to her back and rubbed it as he held his wife close to him; the wife who just moved her hand to the back of his neck and placed her chin on his shoulder. After which, she ran her hand up his muscular chest as she enjoyed what her husband was doing for her; how he was pleasing her and making him feel extremely loved. I mean, this is pure paradise in her opinion; and she's so happy that she's getting this from Matt, as she didn't think that she was going to get it after she had to go find him downstairs in his office. "I'm still not happy that I had to go find you in your office." Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife, well aware that was the case as he bent down and kissed her shoulder softly. "I promise, I won't do that again; I was just bored and wanted to do something else." Turning her head, Alex smiled as she kissed his neck. "You could've woken me up and we could've done this." Turning his head too, Matt stared into Alex's eyes once more. "I thought you wanted to sleep. You looked tired." Alex smiled.

After which, she leaned in and kissed her husband softly. "I will never be too tired for you, the man of my dreams who I love more than anything in the entire world." Grabbing the back of Matt's head, Alex leaned in and kissed the man of her dreams. The man she loves more than anything in the entire world. Just taking things nice and slow with Matt, Alex smirked due to the fact that this truly is precisely what she wants to do with him right now. She just wants to take things nice and slow with her incredible husband, as they start their life together as husband and wife; a life which she's proud to be starting with this gorgeous man as her husband. "I hope you know how proud I am to call you my husband Matt. I know I wasn't the happiest that you were working this morning, but that was wrong. I know you need to…" Turning his head, Matt shook his head as he kissed her. "It was wrong for me to be anywhere other than with my wife this Sunday morning. I was in the wrong, you were in the right; I promise babe." Alex agreed with Matt.

After which, she placed both of her hands on his face and just smiled as she kissed him again; while also taking things nice and slow with him, as it's precisely what they both want right now. They both want to take things nice and slow with each other, though Matt would rather be taking things slow much more intimately. "Do you want to just keep doing this, or…" Alex smirked as she shook her head, before leaning in and kissing her husband softly. "I want you to lay be down, right now." Matt agreed with Alex as she told him to lay her down immediately, which is precisely what he did; he turned to lay her down in bed, while he laid down on top of her and smirked as he placed his hand on her body. Meanwhile, Alex placed her hand on his cheek as she stared up into his eyes; prior to tugging his lips down to hers and starting to take things nice and slow with her husband on a much more intimate basis. A way that made her moan, which is precisely what she just wanted to do. She wanted to moan. "Oh, baby!" Matt smirked, loving her moans.

He loves it when she moans, as it makes him know that he's doing a great job when it comes to giving him the pleasure that she wants from him. And damn is he always good in bed, which is precisely why she always wants him in bed. Why she wants him to take things nice and slow with her, as he's so great and it just makes her so happy that this is how they get to start their day with each other. They get to start their day making sweet love to each other, here in the comfort of their bed. "I love you Matt." Matt agreed with his wife, as he loves her too. "I love you too Alex, forever." Smirking, Alex agreed with her husband as she took things nice and slow with her husband this morning. "Today, I think we should just take it easy." Matt smirked. "Sex all day?" Alex shook her head, as that's not what she wants to do. "Maybe not all day, but I'm pretty sure this is where I want to be today; in bed, with my husband taking things slow with me." Matt agreed with Alex, well aware that was the case. He just knew it was the case because of how happy she is.

And that's due to the fact that she's a newlywed, which is all she wants to be. "I want us to just be newlyweds for now Matt, can you promise me that? Can you promise that you just concentrate on me for a while?" Matt agreed with his wife as he placed his hand on the side of her face, as that's something he can do for her. He can make sure to concentrate on her and how much he truly loves her; which is precisely what he's in the midst of doing right now as he took things nice and slow with her while they made sweet love to each other. "I'm glad that we're making love to each other, and that you're not too mad at me to do this." Placing her hand on Matt's face, Alex agreed with her husband and smiled at him. "I could never be mat at you, when you're the love of my life." Matt agreed with Alex, well aware that's the case as he continued to take things nice and slow with his gorgeous wife. With the woman who was currently giving him everything he wants right now. He wants her in bed, and she's giving him a lot of pleasure in bed.

Part Three: Good Morning Snuggles (New Routine)

To say that Alex was pleased when it came to how her husband just made love to her in their bed would be an understatement, as she still felt on cloud nine even after they finishing making love to each other. And that was all due to the fact that she's just so happy right now. Happy to be all cuddled up to her loving husband, as she placed her hands on his face and just held him close to her. It's precisely what the doctor called for right now, so she decided to just do what she wanted to do with the man of her dreams right now; she held him close and concentrated all of her love and attention on him. Meanwhile, Matt ran his hand all over her body; just like Alex wanted him to do right now. She wanted to feel him run his hand all over her body as they held each other close and just took it easy with each other. And to say that Alex was happy, well that was the perfect way to describe how she felt right now. "I'm happy." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that she was happy right now. "I had a feeling you were happy right now." Alex agreed and smiled at Matt.

After which, she moved closer to Matt as she slipped her legs in between his some more; while also placing her hands on his face in order to make sure that they stay close to each other, not that she would ever consider moving away from the man of her dreams when he's so handsome and sexy. He truly is an amazing husband, and she's very happy to have this gorgeous man in her life; especially since she'll always have him in her life. She's going to be his wife forever, which is something that she can just see happening. "I am so glad that we did that. It's truly perfect, you're perfect." Matt smirked as Alex said that, before wrapping his arm around her and grabbing the back of her head; prior to leaning in and kissing her softly. After which, he took things nice and slow with her as a way to ensure that Alex was happy. Then again, how could she not be happy right now? She has the man of her dreams as her husband, and they're starting a nice new life with each other here in California. There's no other way to describe a perfect life.

However, that didn't mean that it couldn't get anymore perfect; because once they have a baby, she knows that their life will be complete, and Matt will be the happiest man in the entire world. Though, he's quite happy now in her opinion due to the fact that she's his wife. God, she still loves the title. She loves the fact that she's his wife. "What are you thinking about babe?" Alex smiled as Matt asked her that question. "Oh, just how I'm your wife…and how I'm always going to be your wife." Matt agreed with his wife as he placed his hand on her arm, before stroking it with his thumb. "I'm thinking about how great my wife was in bed as we made love to each other just now. And how happy I am that she let me make love to her, when I did the two things she didn't want me to do this morning: let her wake up alone in bed and be in my office." Alex sighed, as she wasn't the happiest about that. "I'm not going to lie and say that I'm not happy about that. Babe, we're on our honeymoon; and it's Sunday. Did you really have to work today?"

Matt sighed as he looked at Alex. "It's always been my routine, to try and avoid morning fights with…" Alex then understood why Matt did it, it's because it's something he's used to doing so that he could avoid fights when he was still with his ex; but, he no longer needed to do it since he has her. "Babe, you have me now. You have nothing to worry about when it comes to that. I'm your wife now, and that means that I want to wake up with you in my arms each and every morning if I have the ability to do so." Matt agreed with Alex, as he wants that. "I want that more than anything, especially since it may mean that I get to have a bunch of hot sex with my wife." Alex smirked as she heard her husband say that, as that most certainly is something that a man would say. "How did I not expect you to say something like that as a man?" Matt smiled as he looked into Alex's gorgeous eyes. The eyes he loves to stare into each and every morning. "Don't lie and say that you don't like it too, you love having sex with me." Alex agreed with Matt.

After all, he's the best lover in the entire world. "The way you make love to me truly is paradise, and it makes me so happy when we got all hot and sexy with each other, which is why I want to do it in the morning…because it makes me happy. You make made happy all the time, and there's no way that I want you to be anywhere other than here with me when I wake up in the morning if there's a way for you to be here in the morning." Matt agreed with his wife, as there's always a way for him to be here in the morning. "Even when I need to travel for work, you can come with me so that we can make sure that we always wake up in each other's arms." Alex smiled, as that actually sounded great. It sounds like exactly what she wants to do with her husband. "I like the sound of that. Us always travelling together, so that we can be together." Matt smiled as he heard Alex say that. "And I don't just mean this year when we say we aren't going to try for kids, I also mean it when we have kids; I want to travel as a family." Alex agreed with Matt.

Placing her hand on his face, she stroked his cheek with her thumb. "Do you worry about that sometimes? How your job as a CEO may affect how you're a dad? Do you worry about it already babe?" Matt sighed, as he did worry about it already. "I try not to considering I'm not a father yet, but I do have to say that it crosses my mind at times…what type of father I want to be, and what type of father I don't want to be; if that makes sense." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that. "Hey, those are questions that you need to figure out over time as you readjust your schedule to fit our new life. Things are going to change over the next coming years, and I promise to try and help you work through it." Matt agreed with Alex. "I was actually just looking at it. And I want to say that I think we made the right move in deciding to wait a bit when it comes to us having kids." Alex was confused when Matt said that, as she didn't understand why that would be the case. "Care to explain what you mean when you say that? Especially for you to say that."

Matt sighed. "I just looked at my calendar, and things are looking busy for 2013…not that I wouldn't change my plans if you were pregnant, because you being pregnant would be much more important to be than anything work related." Alex smiled as she heard her husband tell her that. "Good answer, because I was getting worried when I heard you say that." Matt agreed with Alex, before getting close to her and leaning in so that he could kiss her softly. "Believe me, the last thing I want is to spend anymore time away from you and our future family than I need to. I am going to be there as often as I can, for every event. I know this may not be practical, but I want to have a son and I may even want to coach his team." Alex was surprised when she heard her husband say that, as she didn't see him as the type of dad who did that. "Ok, I hate to even say this but…" Matt went to finish her thought.

"You never saw me as a dad who wants to coach his kids' sports teams?"
