Uknown's P.O.V, atop Mt. Infinity
'So, the warriors have failed, have they? No matter. I have many other pawns, willing and unwilling, to do what I command. Though I must admit. I was not expecting Magnamon to be that powerful. She's young and inexperienced, the Mastemon was a huge surprise. This Percy, and his digimon are quite the obstacle. They're already very powerful. They shall only grow in strength. Perhaps I should reach out to a few groups and form a, shall we say, agreement? Even if only temporary? After all, I'm not the only one who is endangered by such a threat.' The dark figure mused to themselves.
"Devimon! Skull Satamon! Black Gatomon! Myotismon! Matadormon! Infermon!" The being cloaked in shadows called out to their subordinates. Six figures appeared out of the darkness of the massive throne room. All with either their heads bowed down low, or kneeling before the grand throne in the room, sitting underneath their ruler.
"Yes, your majesty? How might we do your bidding?" Devimon asked.
"The 'Legendary Warriors' fell. They were deleted, or captured, in the cases of the warriors of wind and water. That combined with the partners of one of the humans has given me some….concern. He could be problematic in the future. I wish to get rid of him before he can become a bigger thorn in my side. So I'm sending you all to reach out to other digimon rulers on the other continents, as my envoys, to call a summit, so we might deal with this boy before he can be the end of us all. Once that is finished, I am enforcing new, stricter, brutal training. No more champions and lower level digimon. Either they get strong enough to be at least ultimate level, or they die. Simple as that." An aura of menace floated through the room. Choking the group of ultimates and two champions. Stifling their breath, they couldn't even gasp. The master was furious, despite the calmness with which the words were spoken, and the serene look in their eyes. They could tell by the immense blood lust radiating in the air, the crushing hatred and anger pouring out in waves. The promised wrath.
"Master, forgive me, but if I may be so bold as to ask you. Which digimon rulers are you going to reach out too? Why are this boy's pets, such a threat? Surely they can't be higher than a champion, if that, even?" Black Gatomon sneered disgustedly. A digimon, partnering with a human?! For shame!
"Normally I'd punish you rather harshly for daring to question me, and you know this. However, I'll let it slide this time. Don't make it a habit. I will even answer you. His partners, from what I witnessed, are many. A Wargrowlmon, MetalGreymon, Weregarurumon, Angewomon, Lady Devimon, Doru Greymon, and Magnamon. He could have more, that I didn't get a glimpse of. But whether or not he does, does not matter in the slightest. Hell the Magnamon alone is more than worrying enough. The Angewomon and Lady Devimon even Jogress digivolved before and took out Susanoomon, albeit he was weakened, and Sakkakumon himself was taken out by both Magnamon who was weakened from her fight with Velgemon, and Mastemon, who was a new mega. Take into account the other possible forms for these digimon, as well as his others? Not even considering he could have other digimon we don't know of or have seen? I believe my fears of this bastard are very valid." their master said.
The digimon were struggling to believe their master's words. After all, one boy having partnered with such renowned digimon? Unheard of! Snapping back to their master, their lord continued, explaining their hopeful, potential allies in the upcoming future.
"As for the rulers? Well, I was thinking of reaching out to Jupitermon, or Grandracmon, possibly Argomon. Anubismon and Pharohmon won't help. They're neutral. Murmukusmon is a possibility. Piedmon is an option. Lucemon is difficult to deal with on a good day. Dagomon is another possibility. Chronomon is sleeping, I don't know where. Kimeramon hasn't been reborn. Milleniummon's data is missing, so I can't bring him back. Cherubimon has been corrupted by Lucemon, so there's another ally. Ogudomon is out of the question. Ornismon is also useless. He'd attack anything and everything. While the chaos and panic could help, it's not worth the headache. Perhaps, with the help of some of the other digimon, we can bring back Arkadimon, though he's also as bad as Ornismon. Galacticmon, Quartzmon, and parallelmon are viable options, if only as last resorts." Their master informed them.
The subjects were rendered speechless. Their master's plans, while extensive, would, undoubtedly, result in their victory (or so they like to believe). The small group just gazed up at their master with unwavering loyalty.
"Which is why I'm sending you all off to act as my envoys. I won't lie, however, there's every possibility that this won't work. Though the others would all be fools to not follow through with this plan. This group of children will be just as dangerous to them as they are to me." Their master continued to explain.
Back with the digidestined, Percy's P.O.V
"Hey, can I ask you question, Perseus, was it?" came the voice of the young blonde boy, TK, I think his name was?
"Sure, what's up, TK? Your name is TK, right?" I asked him, to which he nodded.
"Yep. I was wondering, how did you get here? How long have you been here? Where did you find your digimon? What are their names?" he fired off rapidly, shooting one question after another at me.
"Woah, slow down a bit there. Now let me see, if I got these in order. From what my mom told me, since I was a baby at the time, she was holding me and running away from a terrible woman (loosely), when she jumped into a portal, thinking it'd be a better option then what would happen if she were caught by that woman. I've been here for roughly, eight years, maybe slightly less. Actually my digimon found me. When my mother and I landed here in this place,we arrived near a nursery village. I was playing with the baby digimon when my digivice appeared and glowed along with the eight digimon at the time. I have some more digieggs in my digivice though, from digimon I defeated, that somehow got scanned by my digivice. Well let's see here. There's Magnamon, Wargrowlmon, Metal Greymon, Were Garurumon, Angewomon, Lady Devimon, and Doru Greymon. The form that Angewomon and Lady Devimon took, was called Mastemon. First time she's ever appeared." I answered the boy.
The two of us then stopped by the campfire, before I left him there to go and speak to my mom and the others, to check on them as well as plan our next move. "Hey mom, Wanda, Zoe, Bianca, Katie, Diana, Nico. You guys and girls (upon seeing Zoe's look) and your digimon all alright?" having seen their looks and nods, I relaxed a bit. Then I thought about what I wanted to say. I glanced back towards the other group of children, and then back to my mom, lowering my voice, I said out loud, barely more than a whisper. Only loud enough for my group to hear. "What are we doing? If we stay here, we're sitting ducks. We barely made it out of that mess. If it weren't for that miraculous digivolving of Angewomon and Lady Devimon, somehow managing to combine their power, we'd have lost that battle I think. These other kids aren't ready for the battles of that magnitude, and even possibly beyond. Though I'm not sure where to go from here. I can't think of any place that could help them. We don't even know who the enemy is, or why they're attacking us. All we really know is we now have more liabilities, and more enemies. Who even knows if this the full extent of our enemies, or their power." trying not to work ourselves into a frenzy, but struggling to figure out where to go from here. So many things going wrong.
"Well we do know one thing. These children are in danger, and we can't stay here. We have to move." Katie said.
"Well that's three things. Also, rather obvious. However it brings us back to Percy's point. Where do we go? We can't go back to Highlight Heaven, because Seraphimon would throw a tantrum due to all of the humans. We can't go to Shadow Abyss because many of the digimon there are bloodthirsty, evil, and/or would cause irreparable damage to the kids. I mean it is home to many digimon like Skull Greymons, Volcanomon, Zanbamon, Devidramon, Piedmon, Lady Devimon, Matadoramon, Black Wargrowlmon. There's even been mentions of a Megidramon being there. Not to even bother with talking about the rivers of fire and lave, the heat, and darkness being a human killer. Nope. Not an option." Wanda said cheerfully. (1)
"None of us, save Percy, and Sally, can breathe or live underwater either. I suppose Access Glacier could be a place to live." Nico said calmly. (1)
"Well, there's Task Canyon, or Limit Valley?" Bianca proposed. (1)
"Nah, those won't work. They'd find us." I said.
"Having them live and survive on their own in the wild sounds like the best idea to me. Otherwise they'd end up weak and coddled. That wouldn't help anyone." Zoe stated.
"Sure, but we could also potentially lose allies, if something were to happen to them and they weren't ready or strong enough." Diana pointed out reasonably.
We all traded looks, unable to figure out what to do here. Suddenly it hit me.
"What about Eclipse city? The Union tamers should be able to help and house them. We might have to split them up, but they should still be able to help us in this case?" I asked them all. Of course, not that I'd tell anyone else this, but I was also hoping to see Julia and Sayo again. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit. (2)
Mom looked at me, and smirked slightly. Dammit.
"So, we're in agreement, then? We ask the Union?" I asked. Seeing their heads nod, I sighed, good, one less thing to worry about.
"I guess I will have to go to Eclipse City. Though I'm reluctant to, given how the battle here just took place, I will leave at first light. Hopefully they agree to shelter the kids. I don't want to play babysitter." I said jokingly.
Sorry about the year long wait, and the lack of plot and action in this chapter. Trying to get back into my fics. Who do you all think is this master? Why do they want Nico?
1.) Highlight Heaven, Shadow Abyss, Access Glacier, Limit Valley, and Task Canyon are all places/domains in the digimon world games of Dawn and Dusk for the DS.
2.) Sayo and Julia are Union tamers in the game, belonging to Night Crow, one of the two teams. Actually Julia is the chief of NC, partnered to ChaosGallantmon. In the games, the two cities of the Union, home to the tamers are called Light Fang, and Night Crow or Claw I believe. Without spoiling the game plot, though they've been out for over a decade, something happens to cause harm to the city and the Union splits. So when reunited/unsplit, I'm calling the city, Eclipse city.
Do you all want the events of those games to happen here? Yes or no? Reasons for yes or no. Any other character from either series (PJO/HOO/KC/MCGOA, or Digimon) to appear? Let me know. I will see what I can do.
If you want a cameo from another fandom/franchise to show up, let me know who, why, where they're from, and what role. I will see what I can do, if possible, as long as it doesn't deviate too far from what I envision for this series. For example, Alcina Dimitrescu from RE 8, or Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars. While I could put them in this, I'd need reasons how and why, and what for.
What other digimon, if any, should the girls get? Nico? Sally? I do have plans for Percy to get some more. Though I'd love to hear suggestions. What villains and/or allies should the Digidestined, Percy and his group have? Conflicts between them all? What for? Suggestions for Percy's harem?
