When we got to the hospital, I told Ratchet not to say a word. It might scare the medics. They rushed Tommy into the ER and started surgery on him right away. I told the doctor that I had another call and that I would be back later to check on Tommy.
After Ratchet and I left the hospital, I contacted Optimus and told him that we just took tommy to the hospital and that I would return later to see him. I also told him at we are on our way back to help with any other casualties.
On our way back there, we were hit by 2 Decepticon air strikes. I managed to get out before they hit again, thanks to my seatbelt.
"Ratchet, can you transform?"
"I…I don't think so, Wolf. You better get help quick."
"I'm not leaving you here and you can't make me leave. I'll radio Autobot HQ and have Hoist come and tow you back to HQ. I will also radio Optimus Prime to let him know what happened and I'll ask him to send Wheeljack to help you back onto your tires."
"Save your energy. Thank me after you recover, ok?"
After I radioed Prime and told him what our outcome is, he told me that he would send Red Alert with us as well as Wheeljack."
"What do you mean by 'us', Optimus?"
"I told Red that you had a friend in the hospital that you would like to go see. I told him to take you there as soon as he arrives at your position."
"Prime, please don't tell the other rangers until I know if Tommy made it through surgery, ok?"
"Understood Wolf. Prime out."
Shortly after I talked to Prime, Red Alert shows up. He tells me to get in, so I do and buckled up.
"Hurry Red. I have to find out if my friend made it through surgery or not. I don't want to be the one who breaks the bad news to his girlfriend if he didn't make it. So, step on it."
When we got there, I rushed in to see the doctor and the secretary told me that the doctor was in surgery. I calmed down a little bit. I took 2 big breaths and took a seat across from the secretaries desk.
An hour goes by and I haven't heard on if Tommy made it or not. I decided to go outside and talk to Red Alert. I figured it would help keep my mind off of Tommy for a while. It really didn't help any, so I went back inside and sat down.
Then the doctor came out of the ER and asked me if I was the one who brought in Tommy. I said
"Your friend went into a coma shortly after we got him into the ER. I don't know if he will make it through the night. Does he have any relatives or friends that we can contact if anything goes wrong during the night?"
"Here's the number of my friend, Spike. I'll be staying with him for tonight. You can reach me there. Can I at least see him before I head out, doctor?"
"Sure, just follow me. You can talk to him but he may not be able to hear you, but you can try."
After the doctor lead me to Tommy's room, he left me alone with him.
"Tommy, I'm so sorry that this happened. I wish it was me laying here instead of you. I'll let Kimberly and the other rangers know that you made it through surgery and I'll bring Kim with me when I come to visit tomorrow, but until then, I will pray that you come out of your coma soon. The reason why Optimus wanted to talk to you was because he saw you and Kim holding hands and it reminded him of when he was young and in love. I'll tell you more when you are awake. See you tomorrow and I'm thinking of you."
I bent over and whispered into his ear, "White Ranger."
I gave him a kiss, then left with a few tears in my eyes.
After I walked through the door, I told Red to head back to Autobot HQ, so that's what we did.

As the sun started to set, Red asked me if I would like to talk about it.
"No, Red. I think I'll wait 'til we get back to base to talk to Prime. I don't have anything against you, Red, its just that..well..I just think that Optimus seems to understand me better than the other rangers or my friends. You see Red, I know a little bit of Prime's past history to know that share the same feelings of losing someone very special. That's why I think he's more qualified than you or anyone else right now. You understand, don't you, Red?"
"Of course I understand, Wolf. If there are any other problems that you can't talk to Optimus about, please don't hesitate to come see me. You may not know this, but I, myself have problems that I can't even ask Prime for guidance. Perhaps one day I might share some of my problems with you and you could give me some guidance. What do you say? Deal or not?"
"Sure, it's a deal, Red."

After we got back, I noticed that everyone was silent.
"What's wrong? You guys act if someone just died or something."
Then one of the Autobots spoke up. It was Bumblebee.
"Wolf, I have something that I think you should hear. Optimus had Blaster record this for you. Its up to you on if you decide to listen to it. If you do listen to it, we'll be here for you or anything that you might need, just let Prime know and he will set it up for you."
"Thanks Optimus, Bumblebee and everyone else. I really appreciate this. Blaster, can I see you and Jazz outside. I think I'm going to listen to the tape that Prime had you make for me."
After we walked outside, Jazz transformed. I asked Blaster for the tape, then I put the tape in and told Jazz to play the tape. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was Jason's voice on the tape.
"If Tommy or I don't make it back with the Autobots, then leadership over the power rangers Smade it to the hospital and I wish him the best of luck in his recovery. Please tell Tommy that I didn't make it back to Autobot HQ in time. I want my burial to be very special. Farewell my fellow rangers."
"Thank you, Jazz and Blaster. You 2 can leave. I would like to be alone for right now."
"Would you like me to tell Prime that you would like to speak with him?"
"Yes, Jazz. Tell him I'll be ready to talk to him in a few mins."

"Its getting late, Wolf. I remember the situation was reversed. Does this have to do with the tape or is there something else that you would like to talk about?"
"I didn't notice how late it was. Since you're here, Optimus. Can I ask you something?"
"Of course you can. What's on your mind?"
"Well, for starters, you and I have more in common than you think, especially when it comes to losing someone special to us. I realize that I lost Jason and I almost lost Tommy if it weren't for Ratchet and I getting him to the hospital. I still haven't told Kimberly about Tommy yet. I'm not sure if I should tell her or not. What should I do, Optimus?"
"Do what you think is right. Listen to your heart. Do you have somewhere to stay?"
"Thanks Optimus. I was hoping to stay with Spike and his dad for tonight."
"Bumblebee is getting ready to take Spike and Chip home, so I suggest you catch them before they leave."
I was able to get a ride from Bumblebee. The first place we stopped at was Chip's, then we went to Spike's.
On our way there, I asked Spike if I could stay the night with him and his dad. He said yes and I told him the reason why. He didn't seem to mind and I'm sure his dad wouldn't mind if I stayed the night. I told Bumblebee to pick me up tomorrow afternoon. I explained to Spike's dad and he told that he understood and that I can share Spike's room with him. I asked Sparkplug if that was a good idea. He told me that he trusts me. I left it at that and went to bed.

The next morning, I get a phone call from the hospital saying that Tommy is awake and wants to see his friends.
We picked up some of his friends and went to visit Tommy. They were glad that he was awake and wanting visitors.
While the rangers were visiting with Tommy, I went to tell Bumblebee the good news, I noticed that I wasn't walking right. When I finally reached him, I collapsed right on top of his hood. Spike had come outside to see why I hadn't come back in when he saw me slumped over Bumblebee's hood.
Bumblebee contacts Zack on his communicator and tells him that I have just collapsed outside and to get out here quick. Zack told Kim to stay with Tommy while him and Spike come help me into Bumblebee's front seat.
After they put me in the front seat, Bumblebee put the cod air on me to wake me up.
"Bumblebee, why don't you take her back to HQ and have Jazz come pick us up.
Bumblebee left for the base in hurry. He contacted Jazz on the way, as well.

After 2 hrs. went by, we made it. Bumblebee almost ran Cliffjumper over on his way in with me.
"Hey Bumblebee, watch it, would you?"
"Sorry Cliffjumper, but I'm in a hurry to see Ratchet. Wolf collapsed just outside the hospital!"
I woke up and I said softly, "Bumblebee, Ratchet is in repair bay. Just take me to Wheeljack."
"Just hang on wolf. You got to hang on."
"Bumblebee, what's wrong?"
"There's something wrong with Wolf. She was coming out to tell me something when she just collapsed. I need to know if you and Ratchet still have that lifeless Autobot body?"
"Yes, but we put it away due to what happened when we transferred Spike's mind into the robot's head. You weren't seriously thinking about having me try it again with Wolf's mind, are you?"
"You just get the robot ready and I'll go tell Prime what happened and what we are planning on doing. I'll leave her with you until I get back. I just hope Prime gives me the go ahead."
As Bumblebee leaves, Wheeljack helps me to the repair table so that I can rest. While I'm resting, I notice that Wheeljack is getting out the lifeless Autobot body.
"Wheeljack, how did you know about my plan? I didn't even ask Optimus if it was a good idea yet."
"Bumblebee told me about your idea. He went to ask Prime for the go ahead. Why don't you rest and we'll take care of everything."
"Tell Bumblebee that I appreciate him for doing this for me and thank you for helping him, Wheeljack."

After a while, Bumblebee and Prime walked into Wheeljack's workshop.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Wheeljack?"
"This wasn't my idea to begin with, Prime. This was Wolf's idea. You should ask her, not me."
Before Optimus could talk to me, Ironhide came in and told Prime that Jazz was back with Spike and the Power Rangers.
"Ironhide, please tell Jazz to bring Spike and the rangers to Wheeljack's workshop."
"Right Optimus."
When Ironhide left, he saw Jazz, Spike and the rangers heading towards Wheeljack's workshop.
"Damn, I guess Prime's voice carries through the base better than I thought."
"Tommy, I'm glad to see that you are alive."
"It's good to be alive, Optimus. Why did you call us in here?"
"The reason why I called all of you in here is because I would like all of you to be here when Wheeljack and Bumblebee do the mind transference."
"Is she crazy to try this?"
"She is dying, Jazz. If we don't do this, she will die. I think she knew she was dying."
All I could do was nod at Wheeljack's explanation.
After about 10 mins., Tommy and the other rangers gave up. They couldn't talk me out of doing this no matter how hard they tried. Optimus gave Wheeljack and Bumblebee the OK to proceed with the mind transference. Wheeljack told everyone to get back in case anything goes wrong.
3hrs. went by and the mind transference was complete. All they waited for was for me to wake up in my new body.
As I was waking up, I asked Wheeljack if it worked.
"Take a look for yourself, Wolf."
I took the Human sized mirror that Kimberly handed me and I couldn't believe what I saw.
"WOW! I look pretty good." Then I looked at Wheeljack. "What about transforming?"
"Without a transforming circuit, you won't be able to, but as soon as I locate one, you will."
"Tommy, what about the DragonZord? Doesn't it have a transforming circuit?"
"I'm not sure. Alpha might know."
"I have a better idea. Wheeljack, why don't you check DragonZord for that circuit. Tommy can you still summon the DragonZord if I tell you where my Power Morpher is?"
"I can try, but I can't promise you that he will come when I call him."
"That's all I expect you to do, Tommy. Just try."

Later in the day, Prime called for a meeting. He expected me to be there as well, but I was outside talking with Spike. The meeting lasted about 15 mins. or so. I could tell that it was over "
"I didn't realize that I was suppose to be there, Ironhide. The meeting wasn't that important, was it?"
Before Ironhide could say anything, Optimus walked out.
"Yes, that meeting was important. This meeting was about your friend, Jason. I don't think he would approve of this at all and neither do I."
I lowered my head cause I felt that I had let Optimus and Jason down. I looked up at Optimus.
"I'm really sorry that I didn't show up, Optimus. Its just that I promised Spike why everyone calls me 'Wolf' instead of my real name. I'll accept any punishment that you think I deserve. If I knew that the meeting was about Jason, then I would have shown up. Can you forgive me for what I have done?"
"I usually don't do this, but I'll let it go with a warning. Right now, I need to talk with you."
I looked at Spike and asked him to please leave for a while. I told him that he could go talk to the rangers while Optimus and I talk. Spike just nodded and went inside HQ.
