The same night, William and Laura went to the factory unauthorized in an attempt to fix the problem on their own, hoping to show the warriors they were trustworthy individuals. But trusthworthy individuals they were not, considering they were planning on using the supercomputer with permission from Aelita or Jeremy. Both were eager to put an end to their exclusion from the team. So, William waited in the scanner room while Laura went to talk with Jeremy.

"Jeremy, I need to borrow your laptop." Laura begged.

"Huh? Why?" Jeremy wondered.

"I left mine in my dorm and I wanted to check how well of a job the firewall's doing of caging Xana." Laura lied.

Jeremy was nodding off, something Laura was very quick to take advantage of.

"You seem tired, why don't you go rest and I'll take care of things from here? Don't worry, I'll make sure that nobody gets devirtualized while you're gone." Laura assured.

Jeremy nodded as he seemingly staggered towards the elevator. Once he was gone, Laura smirked, knowing she had one variable solved for. When Laura opened the laptop, she was shocked. Not by a sudden electric current, but by the results of the scan. Xana was nowhere to be seen on Lyoko. Knowing they were all now in dire straits, Laura regretted telling Jeremy to leave. She then did the only thing she knew to do, call Aelita. It took a few rings for Aelita to pick up; in Laura's opinion she couldn't pick it up fast enough.

"Hello?" Aelita yawned.

"Xana isn't on Lyoko." Laura announced.

"He what!? I'll be there right away." Aelita informed as she scrounged through her closet for her jacket.

Ending the call to opt for speed, Aelita tucked her phone away in her left jacket pocket.

Jeremy decided to take a nap but was startled awake by Ulrich and Odd.

"Ah! Ulrich, and, and Odd? What is wrong with you two? Can't either of you see that I'm trying to get some rest here?" Jeremy ranted.

"Well you may be trying to get some rest but Xana won't let you and neither will we." Odd rebuked.

"Huh? I don't get it Odd, what are you talking about?" Jeremy queried.

"Laura just called us saying she did a scan of Lyoko right after you left and there were absolutely no signs of Xana." Ulrich explained.

"What? But that's impossible, Xana's bound to Lyoko and stuck in Sector Five because of the firewalls we put up." Jeremy remembered.

"That's not what Laura said. She called Aelita and should be on her way soon. We're supposed to meet up at the factory to help Laura." Odd notified.

Jeremy got up and changed almost as fast as he did when Aelita asked him to watch a scary movie with her. When they all met up at the factory, there was chatter in front of the elevator. They were all waiting on Yumi. It took five minutes for her to get there.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late, my mom wanted me to stay and babysit Hiroki. Luckily I told her I left my backpack at school." Yumi apologized.

"It's okay, we're just glad you're here now. Come on, let's go help Laura." Ulrich commented.

Finally reaching their destination, everyone saw Laura with her head in her hands, her elbows on the keyboard. After hearing the elevator open, Laura turned the chair around and walked towards them.

"Thank goodness you all made it out okay. Jeremy, there's no sign of Xana on Lyoko. At three fifty seven this morning, it showed that Xana exited Lyoko. I have no idea where he went." Laura cried.

William was in the corner rolling his eyes.

"That's not what we were here for though." William stated as he glared at Laura from Yumi's left side.

Laura returned the expression with a hatred filled glance in his direction.

"What were you here for then?" Yumi asked.

"We were here to prove ourselves so we could be back on the team. Laura thought that if we got ahold of your laptop then we could override the system and make it look like there was an error in the firewall. That way you would have no choice but to ask for our help." William elaborated.

"As much as I hate to admit it, we do need your help right now. While I appreciate your honesty William, we'll have to leave you out of any future missions for three weeks just to make sure you learned your lesson. As for you Laura, after this you'll be permanently kicked from the group on account of multiple sabotage attempts as well as betrayl for personal gain." Jeremy replied.

Laura was mad. Not just angry or hurt, but fuming, her face a bright red. She stormed to the elevator, pounded the buttons, folded her arms and sent a final angry look Jeremy's way. Everyone was relieved when Laura left. She was just making problems for the team and not doing them even an ounce of good.

Just then, Walter got a phone call.

"Hello?" Walter answered.

"I've heard your team specializes in technological difficulties. I'm willing to pay a high premium for you team scorpion to fly to Geneva and fix my supercomputer." Tyron replied.

"We should be able to reach you by the day after tomorrow to address the issue." Walter confirmed.

After the call was ended, Cabe seemed a little confused.

"Is something wrong old-timer? Forgot to take your nap again?" Toby mocked.

"Can it, Doc." Happy hushed as she elbowed Toby's left shoulder.

"I remember my contact saying something about a supercomputer in Switzerland. It was a long time ago. Back when the second world war was going on, they had all quantum mechanics researchers working on computers that'd help the Allies communicate. In exchange for their aid, the Allies made sure Switzerland and its neutrality remained secure. But on June twenty fifth, two thousand three, the lead scientist working in Geneva went missing. That may be him. I have the audio saved to my phone, I'll send it to my contact later and see if he can find a voice match." Cabe elaborated before walking off.
