Part Seven

"I'll see you later." Seras told Sebastian. With her roses in hand, she stood up on her tiptoes to kiss him on the lips.

"If you get lonely, don't hesitate to come visit me again." The demon purred as he watched his little mate walk out the door he held open for her. Glancing over her shoulder, Seras gave him a small wave with a loving smile.

"Same to you," She winked at him. Once the girl was safe in her flat, Sebastian closed the door to his flat. That visit certainly didn't turn out the way he expected. It was lovely that the two became more attuned to each other's bodies, but he did hate having disappointed his mate by not going all the way. Anyhow, at least some good came of it. His bride will think thoroughly about their future and consider living out the rest of her life as a vampire. Turning away from the door, Sebastian headed towards the large bookshelf that was across from the sofa. It'll be hours before Alucard wakes up, so he suppose he would kill time by reading.

He had already read every book on the shelves, however. None of which he was really too fond of either. He held no real interest in human literature, but how else would he spend his spare time? While his mind wandered, his eyes took in all the different books he possessed. He could always look at cats at the shelter. The corner of his lips curled into a smirk. He would love to get a cat, but humans were prone to having allergies. What if Seras turned out to be allergic to cats? Or what if she had asthma and cat dandruff or fur was a trigger?

"I really should ask her if she's allergic or not." The demon murmured. "A little feline for the flat would be nice." For him there wasn't much in the human world to do. It wasn't like he could busy himself with learning a new language since he naturally knew every language that existed. While he did read books and newspapers, he didn't truly care about what he was reading. He had no need to shop since he could conjure anything he needed or wanted, and there was hardly anything he needed or wanted. He supposed that if he had a garden, he would busy himself with that, but even that he wouldn't truly be interested in. There were just no hobbies or activities he cared to engage in.

Currently, the only thing he sincerely enjoyed doing was spending time with Seras. But he couldn't spend time with her every minute of every day. Before meeting Seras, during his years at the Hellsing Organization, all he ever did was sit in his room and waited to be called upon. And after the Hellsing Organization, during that brief time before he met Seras, all he was interested in was consuming souls and fucking. The demon sighed while he rubbed the back of his head. He'll just have to dig a little deeper and find something that does interest him. He has been sketching more, but that's only because he recently discovered his muse was Seras. Perhaps he'll take up painting. Maybe start using charcoal?

Speaking of drawing. Sebastian's eyes drifted to the side to narrow his gaze on his black journal that rested on top of the table near the door. Grabbing a bowl, a spoon, her favorite cereal, and the milk, she set herself up at one of the stools at her counter. As she poured the cereal there was a knock on her door. Subconsciously, Seras glanced at the clock on her wall to see that it was seven at night.

"Come in!" She raised her voice so the people on the other side could hear her. Setting the cereal off to the side, she grabbed the milk and added it to the bowl. The knob twisted and the door was pushed open to reveal Alucard and Sebastian. Both men seemed to be in an unbelievably good mood. The vampire in particular was grinning like a mad version of the Cheshire cat while the demon had such an alluring look in his eyes and a beautiful smirk on his face. The little human stared at them timidly and curiously while she ate her cereal. She nervously swallowed her food. "Hey," She greeted them after a long few seconds of nothing but silence. After the demon closed the door behind them, the males joined their mate at the counter, each taking a stool to sit on.

"Did you have a good sleep, Alucard?" Seras asked as she turned her head to the left to look up at the grinning vampire.

"It was fine." Alucard purred as that maniacal grin widened on his face. The way he looked at her; it was the same way a predator looked at its prey. It actually chilled her. She briefly stopped eating to stare at him, but she was unsure if it was because she was mesmerized or afraid. No, it couldn't be because she was afraid. As they had discovered, Seras didn't feel fear when it came to them. Which could only mean she was mesmerized by the way he was looking at her.

Realizing this, the little human blushed before she bashfully lowered her gaze. Noticing the effect he had on her, the vampire chuckled before he tangled his fingers in her soft hair. "I have," The little human responded with a soft, loving smile. "I picture having a future with you and Alucard. I don't know when, but…I know that eventually, when we're ready, I want to have a marriage and have kids with you guys." Her smile grew as she envisioned it all.

"What about your mortality? Have you decided on staying human or will you become a vampire?" The demon asked.

"Well," She laughed as that smile grew all the bigger. "I decided on becoming a vampire. The whole…drinking blood and living forever doesn't exactly thrill me, but if it means being with you guys forever, then I'll happily take on that life." Such warmth and adoration emanated from Sebastian's eyes while he stared deep into hers. He looked thoroughly relieved on what she had decided willingly. Not only that, but she looked truly happy by this decision. "However, I can't make all the decisions for our future. Can we talk more about it? I do have some questions and would like some advice."

"Of course," Alucard agreed with a nod. "What in particular would you like advice on?"

"Well, after I become a vampire, should I continue my career?" Seras asked nervously.

"You don't ever have to work again if you don't want to. I, alone, have enough riches to last many lifetimes. But Michaelis does as well." The vampire responded, though the demon frowned at this.

"Alucard, remember who you're talking to." Sebastian sighed. "Seras, I know how much your career means to you. Currently, it's your top priority." His mate silently interrupted by shaking her head, temporarily silencing him so she could speak.

"It's one of my top priorities." Seras corrected him. "I did a lot of thinking today, Sebastian. You and Alucard…I don't want to lose either of you. I want this relationship to work. In my eyes, our relationship is more important than my career."

"Even so, I am still aware of how important your career is to you." The demon responded. "I want you to continue doing what you love." He stopped for a moment to study her. After a few seconds had passed, he spoke again. "My advice, after you become a vampire, you should take some time off and get adjusted to your new life. When it's apparent that you can be around humans, you can return to work."

"I like that idea." Seras murmured as she thought about it carefully. "Do you think that will be alright, Alucard, or is there something else we should take into consideration?"

"If you truly desire to continue being a Police Girl, then it's a plan you should stick to." Alucard answered. "I know how aggravating it might be for you to be out of work for several weeks, but you don't want to accidentally kill a comrade, do you, Seras?"

"No," The little human snickered. "I think it's a great idea and when it's time, I won't complain or fight you guys on the matter." She promised. Slowly, The smile disappeared from her face. "What about my friends? Will…I still be able to see them after…" She trailed off as she lowered her gaze to stare glumly at the countertop. She forgot all about her friends.

"Of course," Sebastian was quick to reassure his mate. "You'll just need to distance yourself from everyone for only a few weeks. Once you get through those few weeks, then you can return to work and spend time with your friends."

"But for how long?" Seras asked softly. "How long can I go to work and spend time with my friends until…I have to stop? At some point they're going to notice that I'm not aging. I can't…go to work or be with my friends forever."

"You would have a few years. I would say, anywhere between five and ten years." Alucard replied. "We don't have to leave London, however. Not if you don't want to. You'll just have to stop going to work and seeing your friends."

"But you can always pursue another career and make other friends." Sebastian was quick to try and cheer her up. "I know new friends can't replace the ones you have now, but…it could help make you feel less lonely." The little human shook her head as no emotion broke through her eyes.

"Don't worry about it." Seras whispered. "Vampires have to live with that. Seeing people grow old and die. Family and friends. If…When I become a vampire, I'll have to get used to it. I know…it'll hit me pretty hard…but…it's a bridge I'll cross when I come to it."

"You won't deal with those emotions alone, Seras." The demon spoke softly. "Alucard and I will be there. You know that I'll always be a shoulder for you to cry on." His mate gave a small smile.

"Thanks," She whispered.

"What else did you want to discuss with us?" Sebastian asked.

"When we get a little more serious and want to live with each other, where will we live?" Seras asked. "Will you both move into my flat or will I move into yours? Or will we look for another flat or a house maybe? Then again, we can't raise a kid in a flat. There would hardly be any room for all four of us."

"We don't have to figure out everything right now." Alucard chuckled. "Marriage and having kids is a few years away."

"Neither of you want to live with me before marriage?" Seras asked.

"You could move in today if you want." The vampire suggested through snickers.

"So I would move in with you and Sebastian?" The girl asked as she glanced at Alucard.

"It doesn't matter to me which flat we live in." The No Life King answered with a shrug. "Choose and we'll go along with it."

"Not today, Alucard." Seras responded with a blush and a smile. "I appreciate how open you are to it, but I'm not ready for that quite yet. I just like to plan ahead." The vampire nodded his head, though he looked displeased that she rejected his offer.

"Well, Alucard does own a manor a little ways outside of London. If you want, when you're ready, we can live there together." Sebastian suggested.

"A manor?" Seras repeated as she shifted her head to blink at the demon. She knew that they were rich, but Alucard owned a manor? "If he owns a manor, why the hell is he living in a little flat?" Before either male could answer, she spoke again. "Nevermind, I'm not going to question that. I like having you both living across the hall. I find it very comforting and we get to see more of each other." Alucard and Sebastian both grinned at their mate.

"Any other questions, my dear?" The vampire asked.

"Not at the moment," She responded.

"There was one question we haven't answered yet." Sebastian spoke up. "Why are we in such a good mood?" Seras perked up when remembering the question she had asked, but never received an answer to.

"Perhaps it's because of those bewitching photos you left for us?" Alucard purred.

"Oh!" The little human exclaimed as she sat up straight on the stool. She had completely forgotten the photos she had taken earlier that day! Timidly, the girl peeked at the vampire from the corner of her eye. "What…did you think?" She asked nervously.
