Uni looked up at the less than stellar Planeptunian building in front of her, checking her Joogle maps once more, she sighed. She was definitely in the right place. Walking in, she did see that the inside at least seemed to be better maintained then the outside, so there was that. Walking to the front desk, Uni was soon greeted with a pleasant enough looking receptionist,
"Hello, and do you have an appointment with Dr. Nepchew?" The woman asked, as Uni nervously nodded,
"Yea… it's under Uni" She presented as the receptionist nodded,
"Ok. I see you, if you could wait over there, the doctor will see you when she can." She presented as Uni soon did what she was told, sitting in the actually comfortable looking waiting area, taking a deep breath as she sat down on one of the chairs.
She needed this doc to work.
She couldn't keep going on like this.
Reaching in her pocket, she pulled out the business card she had randomly woken up one day to discover on her bedside table. Ordinarily she would discard such a card, but she couldn't help but be a little interested, after all, it read…
"Keep tellin ya sweetheart you're 'not interested' or 'just happen to be in the same area', well you're in luck! Dr. Nepchew is a leading specialist in the psychology of tsundereisms! Make an appointment today, and after just one appointment, Dr. Nepchew can rid you of the shackles of tsundereism! Guaranteed! Don't let some sweet talkin nobody steal your sweetheart from under your feet! Act now!"
She needed this to work. She couldn't keep going on like this.
Why you may ask… well…
Every time she saw Maho and Nepgear laughing or hanging out together, she wanted to rip her heart out. Before, she could just keep going on, and eventually she could tell Nepgear all she wanted to. And even if those two just called each other their 'BFF' Uni wasn't going to take any chances. She'd confess to Nepgear first! She'd-
"Uni!?" Ok maybe she could wait. Hearing the voice next to her, Uni froze, slowly turning her head. She was soon face to face with a woman that looked a shocking amount like herself. Down to her black hair and red eyes.
"Sis… wait… not sis?" Uni deadpanned, before being more confused than anything, she was certainly looking at Noire, but… it was the Noire of the Ultra Dimension. "What are you doing here?" Uni asked, very confused,
"I'm not even sure how, but I woke up with a card to this place on my table, and uh…" Noire tried to explain before fizzling out, Uni now even more confused,
"Ok but even then? Why did you come all the way over here?" Uni asked, before putting her finger to her chin, "Is it Miss Neptune?" She postulated, she knew her sister certainly had something going on in that regard, so maybe it stayed the same between dime-
"What!? No! Never in a million years would I be interested in that childish slacker of a CPU! Honestly. I don't see what my other self sees in her!" Noire ranted, as Uni looked at her blank faced,
"Then uh…"
"I uh… it's uh… Plutia" Noire tried to explain, coming out as but a whimper, as Uni seemed taken aback by this,
"Planeptune's CPU?" She asked, as Noire nodded,
"Huh." Was all she could respond with, making a mental note, 'it's not sis with Miss Neptune, it's sis with whoever Planeptune's CPU is'
"I… I can't let that hotheaded prick from Lowee take her first…" Noire added as Uni cupped her chin, her sister clearly making a jab at Lowee's patron CPU.
"I see. Well, I hope the doc can help you!" Uni soon brightly smiled, as Noire returned the gesture,
"UNoire, the doctor can see you!" The receptionist called into the waiting area, as Uni shot Noire a confused look,
"Well they have to know I'm not their Noire!" She cried out, before following the kind receptionist to the back to see Nepchew herself.
And thus, Uni was left by her lonesome…
For all of 5 minutes before she saw yet another familiar face,
"Oh… Anri!" Uni pleasantly greeted, as the gray haired programmer bowed,
"Hello, Uni, and what brings you here?" Anri pleasantly responded, as Uni looked aside, feeling embarrassed at the moment. And as a silence befell them, Uni considered something. She was here to work on her problems, how could she do that if she couldn't even say them out loud?
"I uh… I'm worried that…" Taking a deep breath, she pushed forward, "I'm worried Nepgear will fall for Maho if I don't tell her how I feel soon" Uni finally said it out loud, and for what it was worth, Uni did feel better now, but as the words left her mouth, Uni couldn't help but notice the look on Anri's face, as she stared blankly at Uni, before a chuckle left her mouth,
"Heheh that's great to hear Uni, will make my life easy too." Anri laughed out, as Uni gave her a look to continue, Anri soon obliged, "I'm here because if I don't act fast enough I'm afraid Maho will fall for Nepgear" She presented as Uni soon chuckled herself at the hilarity of the situation,
"Well I hope we are both successful!" Uni laughed, as her and Anri both nodded, united in their shared goals, and as the minutes pressed on, Uni and Anri found a comfortable silence, before, yet another familiar face walked into the waiting area, as Uni nearly fell to the floor in laughter,
"Ram!?" She yelled incredulously, as the young girl pouted, her hand being yanked by her guardian as she sat down with a huff, "What on earth is she doing here?!" she asked, looking to the blue haired oracle that accompanied her,
"She's showing way to many early signs of tsundereism" Mina presented, as Ram next to her slammed her foot,
"It's fine!" She complained, as Mina stared at her, before turning to Uni,
"The other day. I heard from Miss Neptune when Ram went to visit Peashy as she was in this dimension, you know what she told her? That she was 'just in the area'" Mina pushed up her glasses as she recounted, Ram looking especially embarrassed at the comment,
"Full blown tsun" Uni sadly shook her head, all to familiar with the warning signs,
"Exactly! That's why we need to nip it in the bud early!"
"Miiiiinaaaaa!" The young girl whined, as Uni chuckled to herself, before hearing from the entrance,
"Uni, the doctor can see you now!" The receptionist called, as Uni soon stood up, nervously she followed the woman, as she was led to a room in the back, and as it was opened, it was revealed to be a standard psychologist office, complete with the weird couch thing they had,
"Hello there, Uni, take a seat over there" The voice of the doctor spoke, as Uni did she was offered, she soon squinted her eyes, looking at the so called 'doctor' with her messy purple hair, matching eyes, and a unceremonious gray mustache,
"Neptune!" Uni yelled, as she descended upon the doctor, who looked confused,
"Im Dr. Nepchew-"
"No you're not! You just put on a stupid mustache!" Uni yelled as she tugged at the gray caterpillar, and as the doctor winced in pain, the mustache remained, "Huh…" Uni deadpanned, before taking her seat once more, "I'm sorry about that" She apologized as Dr. Nepchew wiped away a tear before beginning,
"It is quite ok, it happens quite frequently" She nodded, before beginning her session, "So tell me. Who is it that is on your heart?" She asked her first question to gauge just how tsun her patient was, her last patient couldn't even answer that question without stuttering…
"Her name is Nepgear…" Uni presented, slightly embarrassed, as the doctor nodded, writing in her pad,
"Good…"
As the doctor went on and on, eventually, Uni could feel all her embarrassment and tsunisms fading. She was starting to realize just how silly she was.
"Goooood. Now. What are you going to do now?" The doctor asked her last question,
"Go tell Nepgear I love her!" Uni spiritedly declared, as the esteemed Dr. Nepchew nodded, before excusing the patient to leave, and as Uni enthusiastically rushed out the door, surely to blast over to the Neptower to do just what she had said, Dr. Nepchew nodded to herself,
"Another satisfied patient." Looking around to see no one was near, she sighed, "Man am I glad I opted for the super strength mustache glue, but now I'm worried it'll never come off…" The protagonist of protagonists mused to herself, her newest quest a successful one….
To rid the world of tsundereism!
