"Zachary had been killed?" Levi asked, feeling a bit surprised. He had been confronted by two Survey Corp. soldiers on top of a giant tree branch with a message. One soldier had blonde hair and the other soldier had auburn hair.

A cicada begun to buzz from a far distance from Levi.

"Yessir. And the Yeagerists effectively control everything within the walls." A Survey Corp. soldier with blonde hair had informed Captain Levi. whilst standing on top of a giant tree branch in a large forest.

"And?" Levi asked.

"It is also possible that the Yeagerists are looking for Zeke. Just as they had demanded."

"We believe that Zeke is causing this chaos through Eren and Yelena." A Survey Corp. soldier had with auburn hair had informed Levi.

Levi then turned his back and looked down at Zeke Yeager, whom was reading a book, whist sitting on top of a square barrel next to a campfire. 'I see.' Levi then turned and looked back at one of the messengers. "And what of Erwin?"

"As you say, Captain. The Commander, Erwin had remained steadfast. He is working on a plan to counter and take advantage of Eren's plan while the Yeagerists are being led here." The Survey Corp. soldier with blond hair had answered Levi's question.

"It's unfortunate, but... the only way to defend Paradis against the Yeagerist's rule is to..." The Survey Corp. soldier with auburn hair had choked.

"You mean, to feed Eren Yeager by our hands?" Levi had glanced toward the Survey Corp. soldier with auburn hair.

The Survey Corp. soldier with auburn hair had gulped. "Yes."

Levi had sighed, then thought about Eren Yeager. He had thought of the times when he and the Survey Corp. was forced to save Eren's life. And every time they did, more soldiers of their Brigade dies. 'Why does he always have to get himself into trouble?' Levi said as he palmed his right forehead, thinking back about Eren. "Maybe I should've kicked him a bit harder." Levi muttered as he reminisced when he had first kicked Eren's face in the courtroom.

"Captain?" The Survey Corp. soldier with auburn hair had called.

"Don't make me laugh. If there's anyone that we should feed a Titan to, it's that piece of shit down, there." Levi pointed downward at Zeke.

"You mean, Zeke?" The Survey Corp. soldier with blonde hair asked, quietly.

Captain Leci remained quiet for a moment. His eyes then glanced around the forest to see some Survey Corp. soldiers were armed and standing sharp on other large tree branches. And some of them were reading books, lying in nets. 'There are thirty fully-armed and trained Survey Corp. soldiers surrounding this forest. Even if he turned into that Bestial Titan... there's no way that he could escape.' Levi had then glanced down at Zeke, again. 'So, that bearded freak was our enemy after all. And right now, he's just a hostage. And Titan hostages doesn't need limbs.' Levi's eyes then glanced downward. 'It's almost that time, Erwin.' Levi had thought.

Short Flashback

During the night of the Marleyan festival, when Zeke Yeager was discovered sneaking around in the airship in search for Eren. Erwin had given Zeke permission to travel toward Marley.

Erwin Smith and Captain Levi sat next to each other, side by side as Onyankopon flies the large airship back to Paradis Island. Followed behind him was Captain Levi.

"Out of all the crazy things you've done. Letting that bearded bastard come back to Paradis with us is the biggest one." Levi told Erwin.

"Yes. But that way, you get to fulfill your promise." Erwin told Levi as they stood face-to-face.

Levi remained silent for a moment. "Yeah. You're right about that." Levi nodded.

End Short Flashback

'I finally get to fulfill my promise now.' Levi thought.

"C-Captain!"

"Hm?" Levi then had snapped back in reality as the Survey Corp. soldier with blonde hair had called him by his title. "What is it?" Levi looked at the blonde-haired soldier who called upon him and gain no response.

The Survey Corp. soldier with auburn then pointed downward at the grassy ground pass Levi. "Look! I-It's..." He hesitated to finish his words.

"Hm?" Levi followed the pointing hand of the Survey Corp. soldier with auburn hair. Levi then turned around and looked down at the ground to see Zeke Yeager running away from the campfire that he had sat by and read his book at.

'What is he-' Levi then gasped, silently and his eyes widened as he then realized on what Zeke was about to do as he watched him stop running.

Zeke Yeager then planted his feet into the ground and aimed his head toward the sky. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEEHHHH!" Zeke then made a loud shriek to where all of the equipped Survey Corp. soldiers had heard him.

"Oh no..." Levi muttered.

Meanwhile...

Within Shiganshina District... Dot Pixis had experienced electricity coursing throughout his entire body. Dot gasped, then dropped his cup of tea onto the floor and the teacup had shattered on impact of the fall. In response of Zeke Yeager screaming from a very long distance.

"What the hell was that?" Kitz Weilman, the captain of the Garrison's first Division Elite Forces questioned himself as he stared at his hands. He had experienced electricity coursing throughout his body and he did not know why.

"That was weird!"

"My body had just frozen up for some reason..."

"Mine, too!"

"Huh?" Anka Rheinberger gained a look of confusion as she watched a few of her fellow Garrison comrades staired at each their bodies and questioned one another. She did not experience electricity coursing through her body at all. "I didn't feel it."

"I felt it."

Dot Pixis frowned as he looked at his hands. He was certain that his body had frozen for an instant. "Zeke..."

Anka Rheinberger gasped, then turned her body directly toward Dot Pixis. "Commander?"

"He actually did it." Dot Pixis muttered as fear had drowned his yellow pupils.

Meanwhile...

Within the Titan Forest... Zeke Yeager had stood on the grass surrounded by trees. He panted a bit after committing a loud shriek. His hands were on his knees and his nose pointed at the ground. "Okay... that otta do it..." Zeke mumbled. He let a few seconds go by so that he could hear the sound of Titans transforming and thumping onto the ground like large rocks. 'Hm? That's weird. I don't hear any Titans transforming. Maybe, I should give it a few more se-' Zeke Yeager then looked up at the sky and gasped in shock. As he did, Zeke noticed that at least ten Survey Corp. soldiers close by to the camp, including Levi were staring at him from hundreds of feet above on top of giant tree branches. None of them were freezing or transforming into pure titans. "What? None of you have turned?" Zeke asked, confusingly.

Levi crossed his arms and glared at Zeke from above, while standing on top of a giant tree branch. "You should've just keep reading your book." Levi had muttered.

"But I could've sworn you all have drunken the wine, by now! How are you not-" Zeke asked.

"I drink tea. And so does everyone else." Levi replied.

Zeke had grunted in a bit of fear.

One of the masculine Survey Corp. soldiers with short black hair and gray eyes had heard what Zeke said, then begun to question it. "Hold on... he just said, "I could've sworn you all have drunken the wine!" Does that mean..."

"Did he do something the wine?" A feminine Survey Corp. soldier with brown hair and blue eyes asked as she looked down at Zeke.

"Wait, you mean the wine we received... was actually tainted?"

As a few Survey Corp. soldiers chatted with one another about the wine, potentially being tainted... Levi kept his eyes on Zeke this entire time as if he was some prize. 'So that what must be the trigger his escape. The wine.' Levi had thought.

Flashback

As Captain Levi and thirty Survey Corp. soldiers were settling in the Titan Forest, Levi had discovered a box of wine shipped from Marley. "Why do you need wine, while on duty?" Levi asked as he picked up a bottle of wine from a horse cart.

"Captain, this is the rarest wine that only the MP's can drink!"

"Survey Corp. newbies worked very hard to get this to us! Are you just going to let it sit here?"

"Yeah, we deserve a little bit of fun!"

"We already have tea." Levi had replied.

"Captain!"

"C'mon!"

"Let us have some fun!"

As the Survey Corp. soldiers had complained, Levi couldn't help but feel irritated about his soldiers wining. His eyes narrowed. 'What a pain...' Levi then turned his entire body around and faced his comrades. "Wait until Commander Erwin gets here." Levi said.

"Aw..." A feminine Survey Corp. soldier pouted in sadness, then dropped onto her knees.

"But Captain..."

"That's an order!" Levi had yelled.

End Flashback

'If I had let the newbies drink the wine, then, they all would've turned into mindless Titans right about now. That would've been a hassle.' Levi had thought of the wine. He didn't want to imagine what his comrades would've looked like as pure Titans.

Zeke Yeager grunted, once more. Inside his mind, he knew he had only one option. And that is... "Tch!" Zeke Yeager, then turned his back from Levi and decided to sprint away from the Survey Corp. on foot.

"Hm?" Levi raised his right eyebrow by a centimeter as he saw Zeke sprinting away.

"Look! The bearded bastard is running!" One Survey Corp. soldier had pointed out as he pointed at the running Zeke.

"I'll go after him!" A young Survey Corp. soldier named Varis decided to jump from atop of the giant tree branch that he stood on and maneuver his way toward Zeke.

Zeke quietly gasped and saw Varis maneuvering fast toward Zeke Yeager. As he did, Levi had then thought back of when Mikasa had attempted to attack a seemingly immobilized and injured Annie Leonhardt within her Female Titan body. But as a result, Levi injured his leg stopping Mikasa. "Don't do it!" Levi yelled to Varis.

"Huh? Captain?" Varis questioned as he looked back to where Captain Levi and his comrades were as he quickly maneuvered toward Zeke Yeager.

As Zeke Yeager had continued to run away from the Survey Corp. within the large forest. Passing a few large trees and rocks. Zeke had hidden a smile under his cowering breath. 'That's it. Come closer. Just a little more.' Zeke then raised his left hand to his face and opened his mouth. Within a second, Zeke bit his left hand and electricity had begun to spark around his face.

"Huh?" Varis then faced Zeke as he kept maneuvering toward him from behind. As Varis was a few feet from grabbing Zeke Yeager's backside...

A lightning bolt had struck from the heavens and directly onto Zeke's body. The ground rumbled a bit and a bright shining yellow light appeared.

The Survey Corp. soldiers were shocked to see the bright yellow light-as they could only mean... that a Titan Shifter, such as Zeke Yeager had transformed into the Beast Titan. Right in front of their eyes. Some of the soldiers had to cover their eyes from the shining light.

"Varis!"

'Dammit! Varis was caught in the explosion.' Levi thought as he watched Zeke's Bestial Titan body generate.

"OOOOOOOOOOAARRRH!" Zeke screamed in his Best Titan body, which heavily alarmed the Survey Corp. soldiers in the woods.

"Great. Now I have to tear him to shreds again." Levi said as he watched Zeke roar.

"Levi." Zeke called as he stood on both his Titan feet.

Levi remained quiet.

As Zeke laid his Titan eyes on Levi, he could not help but think of when he met Levi. "I'm going to make you pay for what you did, the first time we met!" Zeke screeched.
