Chapter Three
A/N: I will be switching to a more basic format for the system from here on. This format will be like a halfway point between Shiro's latest version of the system and The guild of Gamers: The Supervillain. Anyway please enjoy this steaming pile of garbage I hope to make into a good story lol.

On the way to lunch I almost ended up tripping over my own feet. All thanks to this little bombshell the system decided to drop on me as Yang made yet ANOTHER pun.

And now I am stuck in class with Mrs. Lynch and dealing with MATH of all things while waiting as this stupid thing ticks up a percent every minute or so. Thankfully I still have my HUD and seem able to use my magic which I have been messing around with while trying not to panic. Speaking of panicking lunch was... Interesting. I ended up being dragged over to sit with Yang's friend group and was shoved into a seat next to Ruby to our mutual socially inept panic. This led to Yang teasing me and Ruby (But mostly Ruby) leading to even more awkwardness. Thankfully Yang was soon distracted by the latest idiot to try getting into her shorts committing the cardinal sin of messing up her hair. Thank you for your sacrifice you nameless idiot, you will not be remembered. *PING!* FINALLY!

Tutorial Quest 1: OH SHIT I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL!
You're late for school! Better start running or you might get in trouble! Hope you don't run into any trouble on the way!

The gacha is a wonderful and random thing you could get Excalibur or a pet rock or even summon an apocalypse! Though the odds of that are rather low. You can even gain Perks, Races, and summonable companions Master. Speaking of the Gacha.}]

Tapping accept real quick I pull the Gacha token from my inventory and after looking at it for a second I snap it.
[Congrats! You gained 1 Pitiful Gravity Dust Crystal.]
Pulling THAT from my inventory reveals a fingernail sized purplish grey crystal that based on this body's memories is kinda pathetic and might only shove a child a few feet away IF that. I quickly stash it back in my inventory as the bell rings to signal (Oh god I just realized that's a pun) us to head to our next class.

Though I should mention you can get tokens that pick from a smaller selection like Rare Gacha Tokens or Crafting Gacha Tokens, And while those tokens give a more limited selection of rewards all the items you can get through those tokens can be gotten with a much smaller drop rate from the normal tokens!}]
Since I have another token from the bonus rewards and I am on my way to another class I might as well spin the wheel again and see what I get. Quickly snapping the token as Ruby continues to drag me to the one class she seems to like bladesmithing. I can understand why too since she has been working on her "baby" since the class began.

Well... That seems like a suspiciously well timed item... Oh well I needed materials to finish my weapon anyway.

Tapping to accept again this time with FAR more excitement as I start dragging Ruby towards the class for a change. "Woah! Why the sudden rush Sol?!" She yelps out as we make record time to the class... Or at least record time since the last time Ruby was caught using her semblance in the halls. I tap my foot impatiently as I wait for the teacher to give the go ahead to start working on our weapons. "Just excited Ruby I found a really good piece of metal to use and I was eager to get started." I explain as the teacher gives the go ahead to start working. Soon I get over to my station where I pull the Star Fall ingot out of my scarf while pulling it out of my inventory. I also pull out the Umbral Blood as I get started on hammering out the shape I want for my new Axe going with a rather simple design that has a shotgun as the handle as I forge that out of common steel. While I still have the pieces hot I carve nauðr and Yr into the pieces of regular steel to hopefully give them a greater resistance to breaking. From there I get to work on the blade and actual barrel of the weapon as these items are fused. Forging it out of the Star Fall ingot which was surprisingly hard to manipulate I carve the Runes Yr, Sól, Dæg, and finally to represent my goal with this weapon Óss. Then I heat the blade and barrel up as I pour the Umbral blood in along with some of my own blood into the quenching oil I plan to use which causes it to go from the dark gold it was to solid black. I dip the handle in that mixture before quenching the blade and barrel in it as well. As I pull it out of the oil I find myself unsurprised that the barrel and the blade are now a deep black that seems to be absorbing the light around it Except for my runes which glow softly. Swiftly I assemble the rest of the Shaxe (Shotgun axe) just in time for the teacher to walk by to inspect it.

"Hmm... what metal did you use in this again?" She asks as she tests the edge on a hunk of wood only for it to go through the half a foot of wood and slightly cut into the table. "Oh um just some metal I found at some place in the forest." I nervously respond. "Well if you're gonna go into the forest or use this weapon I suppose I should unlock your Aura huh?" She says with a grin on her face leaving me stunned for a moment before I realize this means I passed. "Really?!" I say excitedly as she hands the Shaxe back to me. "Really. Come over to my office and I can do the ritual there." She says as she walks away and Ruby comes over to congratulate me... and to pester me to let her hold my weapon but that is just how Ruby normally is.
