After discussing the situation with Ms. Knight, she assures him that she will provide assistance.

Later, the gentlemen are seated on the couch, engrossed in watching television, when suddenly Katie forcefully punches Kendall in the arm, causing the others to startle.

"My apologies, but I must express my discontent. You have betrayed my trust and proven yourself to be untruthful," she exclaims.

"Ouch! Pray tell, what was the reason behind such an action?!" Kendall questions, while gently rubbing his arm.

"You are a deceitful traitor! She is aware of our conversation!" Katie continues without offering an explanation.

"I must confess, I am utterly perplexed by your words! Please, enlighten me!" Kendall pleads.

"Tyler's mother possesses knowledge of everything! She is aware that I confided in you about her decision to prohibit his attendance at the harvest moon festival. Furthermore, she has somehow discovered that Jo disclosed information to you regarding an incident involving Carlos! You have divulged our secrets! How else could she have obtained this knowledge?!" Katie yells once again.

"I assure you, I have upheld my promise! I refrained from engaging in any conversation with her! I refrained from becoming involved! That is precisely what you desired! I have fulfilled your wishes!" Kendall retorts with conviction.

"Then, I must question, how is it that she possesses this knowledge?!" Katie responds, her disbelief evident.

"I requested assistance from our mother," Kendall admits.

"Even so, you have still violated your promise!" Katie exclaims, her anger evident.

"You must endeavor to remain composed," Logan advises, his tone calm and collected.

"I find it impossible to maintain composure when faced with the Karate Kid, who seems to possess an intense anger within her," Kendall remarks.

"I shall refrain from dignifying that statement with a response," Logan sighs.

"That is the end of my friendship with Tyler, I am certain of it. His mother will be the one to terminate it," Katie expresses, her distress evident.

"Why would she take such action?" James inquires.

"Because she possesses an evil nature! Why am I the sole individual who perceives this?" Katie walks away, her frustration leading her to her bedroom.

Kendall lets out a sigh, feeling exasperated.

"Carlos, are you feeling better after what happened earlier?"

"Yes, I will be fine," Carlos replies.

"Very well," Kendall says, gently patting him on the back before heading towards Katie's room.

"I apologize for informing our mother. I merely intended to assist. I was genuinely upset by Carlos' distress. It is my duty to be protective," Kendall explains.

"I apologize for striking you. I should not have resorted to such actions. I displayed immaturity and failed as a sister. If I am unable to defend Tyler, then I am unworthy of his friendship," Katie confesses, embracing her stuffed monkey, Giggles.

Kendall recognizes that she only seeks solace in Giggles when she is profoundly upset and overwhelmed. All his anger dissipates, and he forgives her with a warm embrace.

"Hey, let me tell you something, you're an amazing friend to Tyler," Kendall declares with a smirk.

"Don't even think for a second that you've let him down," he adds, raising an eyebrow.

Katie lets out a grateful sigh. "Thanks, I really needed to hear that," she says, slipping under the cozy covers.

Kendall takes a moment to fluff up Katie's pillows, making sure she's comfortable, before playfully switching off the light and making her way out of the room. "Get some rest, you deserve it," he says with a wink.

On a sunny Wednesday afternoon at school, during the lunch break, Kendall decides to put Logan's advice into practice. With a warm smile, he approaches Louie, extending an invitation to join him and the rest of the guys for lunch. "Hey Louie, would you like to sit with us? It's such a beautiful day outside," he kindly suggests.

Louie, however, seems hesitant and questions Kendall's intentions, suspicious of any ulterior motives. "Are you sure you want me to sit with you? I find it hard to believe," he cautiously asks.

Understanding Louie's skepticism, Kendall responds in a reassuring tone, emphasizing the importance of trust. "Dude, you really need to learn to trust people when they show kindness towards you," he advises, hoping to alleviate Louie's doubts and foster a sense of camaraderie.

"Allow me to recount a rather unfortunate incident from my past. It was a time when I placed my trust in an individual who possessed a similar pleasant and composed demeanor as yourself. Regrettably, this person proceeded to betray my trust in the most egregious manner. They extended an invitation for me to attend a holiday gathering, which initially transpired quite harmoniously. However, to my dismay, this individual revealed that they had crafted a special surprise movie, one that featured me divulging my deepest secrets to them. I had entrusted them with the assurance that these intimate revelations would remain confidential, yet they deceitfully assured me that they would not be shared with anyone else. The ensuing consequences were nothing short of humiliating. I found myself ostracized, devoid of companionship. The derogatory labels of 'freak,' 'geek,' 'dork,' 'nerd,' and 'loser' were incessantly hurled in my direction. The list of disparaging epithets seemed interminable. Hence, I hope you can understand my current sense of caution and wariness towards individuals who express a desire to befriend me." Louie eloquently expresses.

"Listen up, Louie. What went down was totally unfair, and I'm here to tell you that you can trust me. Seriously, I've got your back. I get it, man. It's not easy to forget or move on from the crap you've been through. But let me tell you, you're one cool dude."

Louie raises an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? And why should I believe you?"

"Because, my friend, I've got the power to shield you from jerks like Jett. I mean, seriously, who needs that kind of negativity in their life?"

Louie crosses his arms. "Jett and I don't have a problem."

"Well, that's good to hear... for now. But let me tell you, Jett is one unpredictable dude. You never know when he's gonna flip the switch and start causing trouble." Kendall says.

Louie, still uncertain, inquires, "Do you genuinely desire nothing more than to establish a friendship with me? Is there no ulterior motive? No hidden agenda? No deceit? Just a sincere desire for companionship? Just an authentic display of respect?"

Kendall responds, "Indeed, I simply wish to be your friend."

Louie, considering the proposition, concedes, "Very well, I shall grant you an opportunity. However, I must caution you that it will not be a straightforward endeavor. Individuals such as yourself may possess amiable qualities, but there exists a complexity beyond mere kindness. I possess an intuition that suggests your intentions are not genuine. My previous error was placing trust in individuals who appeared 'seemingly nice' like yourself and your acquaintances, only to be betrayed. I am unwilling to endure the same hardships I have experienced in the past. I simply cannot subject myself to such pain again. Therefore, if you truly wish to demonstrate that you and your companions are worthy of my trust, I require you to undertake a series of tasks on my behalf."

Kendall inquired, "What is your desire?"

Louie responded, "On Monday, when you approached my table at Palm Woods Park, you refrained from participating in the game I was engrossed in. You simply stood there, making no effort to join me. Does that recollection resonate with you?"

Kendall nodded, affirming, "Indeed, I recall."

"Excellent. This afternoon, once our academic obligations have concluded, I would appreciate your genuine participation. Or do you find such an endeavor beneath you?" Louie inquired.

"No, it is not beneath me. I will gladly join you," Kendall assured.

Louie, with a hint of skepticism, remarked, "I shall await your presence, although I am not overly optimistic, as I suspect you may retract your commitment."

Kendall insisted, "Rest assured, I will not falter. I shall be there."

Louie, maintaining an air of authority, responded, "The final judgment lies with me, not with you."

During the lunch break, Louie chooses to sit alone outside, engrossed in a captivating book. As he peacefully enjoys his solitude, Jett approaches him with a rather impolite remark. "Aren't you saddened by the fact that you lack the social prowess to have companions?" Jett inquires, his tone laced with a hint of condescension.

Remaining composed, Louie responds with a firm yet polite retort. "I kindly request that you leave me be. I am under no obligation to provide you with an explanation." His words carry an air of confidence, reflecting his self-assured nature.

Unfazed by Louie's response, Jett persists in his attempt to provoke him. "All I'm suggesting is that you are an oddity, a deviation from the norm," Jett continues, his words dripping with disdain.

Growing increasingly agitated, Louie's patience begins to wane. "I implore you to depart from my presence," he asserts, his voice tinged with a hint of warning. "Failure to comply may result in me demonstrating my capabilities, which I assure you, are not to be taken lightly."

Unfamiliar with the concept of fear, Jett scoffs at Louie's warning. "You insignificant little creature! I am not intimidated by your empty threats. Your supposed capabilities hold no weight," Jett retorts, his arrogance palpable.

Recognizing the futility of engaging in further conversation, Louie decides to disengage from the situation. "Engaging in discourse with an individual of such limited understanding is an exercise in futility," he calmly states, rising from his seat with the intention of walking away. However, his departure is abruptly halted by Jett.

"Although we have not encountered any conflicts thus far, I find it rather amusing to toy with you. Let us continue this interaction," Jett suggests, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Maintaining his composure, Louie responds with a touch of dry humor. "I would prefer to find myself aboard the Titanic rather than spend another moment in your company," he calmly asserts, his words laced with a hint of sarcasm.
