(A/N: So before I continue with the next chapter
I wish to state that since Ash is kid right now, Akari and Rei will be involved in research task and pokedex completion task. However, Ash will learn pokemon training stuff. And yes, Ash won't be getting any legendaries in this story. He may befriend alpha pokemon but legendaries a big no here.And I am not planning to give Ash a lots of alpha here.
The Hisui arc of this story will be in narrative mode. Without any delay, let's start with the chapter)
"So this is how we craft pokeballs" says Rei
"You know when it comes to craft things,Rei is the best person" says Aakri
"Can I call both of you brother and sister" asks Ash
"Sure, you can do. " says Akari as she hugged Ash
"Now Ash, since you know how to craft a pokeball, we will teach you how to catch a pokemon without battling them." says Akari as she and Rei along with Ash reached at their first location.
"This is Horshoe plains and you have to capture a pokemon." says Rei
"We will show you how to catch a pokemon" says Akari
"Guys look, a Rapidash" says Ash
"You know what pokemon is that " asks Rei
"Yes, my dad once had a Rapidash" says Ash as he starts running towards the Rapidash. As Ash is approaching a Rapidash it starts to get bigger.
Rapidash saw Ash and got angry and it starts exhaling flames.
"Empoleon use hydro pump" says Rei as he sends his Empoleon who protected Ash.
"Are you okay" asks Akari as she grabbed Ash
"Yeah I am, but why that Rapidash is angry" asks Ash as Rapidash starts chasing them.
"Becaus you invaded its territory and that's too alpha one" says Akari as she is running away from the big horse by grabbing Ash in one arm
Akari and Ash took shelter behind a boulder as Rei is battling the wild alpha.
"We need to be careful, there are alpha pokemon and they can hurt you" says Akari as she scolds Ash
"I am sorry, I just recalled the time when I took a ride on my dad's Rapidash. I used to play with the rapidash" says Ash as he starts crying
"You are missing your dad, aren't you " asks Akari
"Hmm hmm" says Ash as he nods while wiping the tears
After ten minutes of intense battle Rei defeated alpha Rapidash and caught it.
"Ash if you want, you can befriend this Rapidash" says Rei as he extends his arm towards Ash
"Do you really want me to have Rapidash" asks Ash as he wipe his tears.
"Yes, I can't let a cute kid like you to cry. You are like my small brother that I always wanted" says Rei as Ash picks pokeball and starts dancing happily.
"Why don't you send it out" asks Akari as both Akari and Rei took shelter behind the rock.
"Rapidash come out," said Ash as he send his new friend out. But Rapidash is too aggressive and it kicked Ash in the process causing it to skid on the ground. Ash started to cry but he looked at Rapidash.
"I can't cry like this if I have to become a great pokemon master and defeat Gary" thought Ash
Ash stood back and tried running towards Rapidash who tried to kick Ash. Ash dodged and latched itself on Rapidash's leg.
"Rapidash listen to me, please" says Ash as he scream loudly and then Rapidash looked at Ash.
"Rapidash just listen to me once, " says Ash as he closed his eyes. "We know that we entered your territory but it we wanted to do friendship with you. You are such a good pokemon and I can't loose a chance to make a pokemon like you my friend." says Ash he looked at Rapidash
who is looking at Ash
"Rapidash, this medicine will heal you quickly, let me apply this on your wounds. " said Ash as he showed Rapidash a potion. "Please let me clean and treat the injuries "
Rapidash stood still for a while and then let Ash apply medicine on it's injuries.
"Now if you don't mind, can we become a good friend " said Ash as he extends its arm and Rapidash looked at Ash for few moments."I will start my journey after four years and I need a friend like you"
Rapidash then lowered its head and touched Ash's hand.
"Nice to have you on team " said Ash
"Here take this" said Ash as he give him the berry which Rapidash took it happily.
"How you did that Ash, " asks Akari
"I don't know, it seems Rapidash understood my feelings. Right Rapidash" says Ash as Rapidash nodded
With that Ash's journey to capture and befriend new pokemon started. Slowly two years passed, Akari and Rei helped Diamond clan and Pearl clan in quelling noble pokemon.
So far Ash's existing team consists of Dartrix, Typhlosion, Samurott, Gyarados, Togekiss, Luxray,Garchomp, Celebi and Zoroark. All of these pokemon got stronger in span of two years because of the lady Zisu who works as a security corps member and acting as move tutor. Because of her calm and caring nature she taught Ash's pokemon wide array of moves.
And challenging wild pokemon made Ash's pokemon strong. In past year Ash learned the majority of the training stuff, like treating his injured pokemon, preparing meal for his pokemon and training with his pokemon.
Akari,Akari and Rei caught variety of pokemon. Akari caught the pokemon that are residing in Obsidian field lands, Cobalt Coastlands and Crimson Mirelands.
Apart from working on pokedex Ash, Akari and Rei assisted diamond and pearl clan in quelling noble Kleavor, Electrode, Avalugg and Lilligant. They helped lady warden Palina in raising a Growlithe who became lord of the Cobalt Coastlands. Ash befriended a prankster alpha Gengar and saved an injured alpha Raichu, a normal Ralts and a normal Riolu who started following Ash
One of the Growlithe that stayed with Palina showed interest in Ash after which Palina gave Growlithe to Ash.
Akari caught alpha Parasect, normal Beautifly, Scyther,Chansey,Mr.Mime,Gyarados, Eevee, Buneary,Drifblim,alpha Roselia,Vespiqueen, Chimeco,Clefairy,Parasect,
Rei caught alpha Alakazam, Kleavor,Scizor, Scyther, alpha Snorlax,Pichu,alpha Heracross, alpha Ursaring,alpha Hippowdon, Honchkrow, Toxicroak,Glalie, Gallade,Braviary,Abomasnow,
Bronzong,
Ash caught alpha Graveler,three Scyther out of them two are now Scizor and Kleavor, eight Eevee,alpha Snorlax, alpha Heracross, normal Beautifly,alpha Staraptor, alpha Gengar, alpha Raichu, alpha Torterra, normal Petlil,normal Honchkrow,Vulpix, alpha Empoleon, a normal Aipom,Duskull,alpha Magmortar, Abra,alpha Machamp,crobat,Misdreavus, alpha Mamoswine,alpha Abomasnow, a normal Rufflet, a normal Frosslass,alpha Electrode, Rhyperior,Electivire,alpha steelix,sneasel, magnezone,Stantler goodra,probopass,alpha gliscor, chimeco,alpha glalie.
They also explored space time distortion from where Ash encountered alpha Rampardos.
Everything was going smoothly until one day Ash woke up and saw blood red sky.
"Sister Akari, brother Rei, what going on" asks Ash
"Space time rift, it is expanding at rapid rate" says Rei
"From past three days, it was expanding and now it is starting to cover the near by areas of Mt. Coronet" said Akari
"Guards take Ash in custody" said the security corps of Jubilife Village as Ash is surrounded
by the security guards as they took Ash in Commander Kamado's office. Akari and Professor Laventon followed him.
"Wait a minute, by whom orders you arrested me " asked Ash as he is trying to get free from the cliff.
"Stay silent stranger, you have no right to say anything " said guards
"But why you are behaving with Ash like this," said Akari
"Because I ordered them, " said the Kamado
"Commander Kamado, but why" asked Ash
"Because you are just threat to this village, " said Kamado
"Wait a minute, how all of sudden you thought that Ash is a threat" says Irida and Adaman who are present there.
"Rio" said Riolu
"Logic is simple, one day we heard about a kid of age five commanding the twenty two feet tall beast. Not only he is commanding, he is playing with them and do you think this is not a matter of concern. We saw many cases when these creatures killed kids and eaten them alive" says Kamado
"What kind of logic is this, " says Adaman in confusion
"Listen old man, don't think of doing anything wrong to innocent Ash" says Irida screaming on top of her lungs.
"Did you called me old man" asks Kamado
"Guards take this threat out of this village. Unless and untill he proves innocent, he is banished from the village" said Kamado as he walked away and stopped before turning back
"Those who support this kid then they may leave this village as well" says Kamado
"Cyllene, you make sure this kid don't appear around the village" said Kamado
"Wait a minute, if you think I am dangerous than why you allowed me to stay at first place " said Ash
"Because we were not sure that you are after all this mess. We became confident when you captured alpha pokemon with ease which is not normal for us, not even for previous members of survey corps" said Kamado
"What does this prove, doesn't Hissui region has dangerous wild pokemon that can tear you apart in one go" said Ash
"Isn't it true that you came from that rift" asked Kamado
"It's true, " said Ash and just before he can continue he was dragged out of the hall by the guards.
"I banish you from the village, you can take your belongings from your room" said Kamado
"Ok fine, I will leave this village, if you think this is better for you and your village" said Ash as he started to walk towards the exit.
With that Ash left the village, since Akari and Rei supported the Ash, they are also banished from the village.
"That old man is really wierd. First of all he let us be the part of the survey corps and now he is putting all blame on us " says Akari
"Right, but I think he is correct at his perspective. If I was at his place, I would've done the same.Sister Akari, brother Rei, let's close this matter for once and all" says Ash
"Yup, let's do this " says Rei, Akari and Ash in unison.
In original timeline three years passed and in Pallet Town of Kanto region Ash's mom is in her room.
"Delia, I know it's hard for you to believe but Ash is no more. He is disappeared and we searched all places in Kanto and we even asked Johto region government to locate Ash but he is not there as well" says Oak
"I know Professor, but I believe that Ash will return " says Delia
"Do let me know if you need any help" says Oak as Delia nodded. She held the photo of Ash close to her heart and prayed for Ash's return.
" Even if Ash and Akari did happen to fall from the sky, that hardly gives them the power to turn it red!" Laventon says. "This is utterly intolerable - and, I might add, absurdly unscientific! As a man of science, I must fight such illogical thinking tooth and nail!"
"Professor, I know what he is thinking. It's like if my mom and pokemon are in danger, I will think the same" says Ash
"However, there are others who might offer help. You've been an aid to both the Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan." says a new voice and it's none other than Captain Cyllene.
"What are you doing here" asks Aakri
"I believe you, you are innocent. It's impossible to believe that you two are behind this calamity " says Cyllene "But I can't help you directly. Perhaps Adaman or Irida might take you in?"
Cyllene asks.
"Though I'm afraid they've both already returned to their respective settlements..." says Laventon
"Or you could try to go find Lian first? He's likely to be at Grandtree Arena." Cyllene says.
Ash,Rei and Akari nod, and Cyllene says, "Don't die alone out there. That's an order. I will ensure you have all you need to complete the survey the commander has tasked you with. If I might offer my advice. In this life, you will meet with both admiration and abuse from others. How others choose to view you is a choice only they can make. You cannot make it for them. All that truly matters is that you hold firm to your own values."
Laventon says looking at Akari "What of the dream I first shared with you on Prelude Beach? To complete the Pokedex? That dream simply won't come true without you..." Laventon says.
Ash,Akari and Rei then leave to find Lian, on the way.
Ash,Akari and Rei arrives at the Grandtree Arena, and he find Lian there who doesn't seem to be happy with them. He asks, "You! What in the world did you do?! Look at that size of that rift! If lightning starts pouring from it, all the Pokemon in Hisui could be thrown into a frenzy! The entire clan is in a panic now!"
He lowers his head and says, "I should have known that the only thing that could come from that rift was a disaster..."
"I really need some help so that we can investigate this..." Akari says.
"Look...You needn't try to put on a brave face. You've been a help to the Pearl Clan, and we know what kind of person you are. Though, it must be said - for every sympathetic ear you might find there, you may also find a detractor who fears your presence...I truly do wish that I could repay you for quelling Kleavor's frenzy as you did. You must know that. But there's nothing I alone can do for you."
"I see..." Ash frowns.
"Warden Mai might be able to help you, though. She's a caring woman, after all." Lian says.
"You'll most likely find Mai at the Worn Bridge. I believe it's a very significant place for her. I'm certain that somewhere in the vastness of Hisui, there is a place for you as well."
Akari frown as they leave, Ash says, "So that means Pearl Clan is a no-go..."
"Yeah, the Diamond Clan is our last chance..." Rei mutters as they go to the Worn Bridge with the help of Braviary.
After getting there, they find Mai and her Munchlax, and she says, "My, my...What a frightful sky. Such a disturbing sight would be enough to put anyone ill at ease. You don't know what brought this about, do you?"
"We don't know anything, that's why we are going to find it out." Akari says.
"I suppose it was too much to expect that you could already have an answer to all this." Mai sighs. "I heard from our leader what happened. You can't return to that village of yours, can you? But I'm afraid the Diamond Clan cannot be the ones to save you."
"I know. The Diamond Clan could end up at war with the Galaxy Team if things went badly." Ash says. "It will be much pain for Adaman as well."
"Sister Mai, is there anyone we can seek out for help" asks Ash in concern
"The great Wyrdeer took a liking to you. I want to offer you my support. But...Forgive me. I cannot help you with this. Do not abandon hope. Time solves all things. And besides, you seem to have a talent for making your own way in the world. I have no doubt you'll continue to find a path to walk."
After that, Ash,Akari and Rei also leave, and he know that even the Diamond Clan can't help them, and he just sit on the grass looking at the Obsidian Falls. A Shinx walks over to him and purrs at Ash, Ash gives a sad smile as he pats the Pokemon.
"At least we still have our Pokemon to help us." Ash says as he scratch head of Riolu who squeal in happiness.
"Strange events seem to follow you wherever you go, don't they?" Ash,Akari and Rei turn around to see Volo walking towards them
"Rio" says Riolu as he formed aura sphere
"Is something strange Riolu," asks Ash as Riolu nodded
"I can sense the aura of this guy, he is not good" says Riolu
"What happened" asks Volo
"Nothing, he just don't like strangers" says Ash as he hid the fact
"I've been looking all over for you, you know! What would I do if I were to lose one of my favorite customers? Don't worry. I've already heard what happened. A good merchant knows well the importance of staying abreast of all the latest news. It seems you're in quite the pinch. No place for you among the Diamond Clan or the Pearl Clan - to say nothing of how poorly the Galaxy Team has treated you! But not to worry. There are still corners of the Hisui region where we can stash you away in secret."
"Really?" Akari ask in confusion.
"I know a spot that will be the perfect hideaway. Leave it all up to me!" Volo says as he brings Ash,Akari and Rei to a place with a small hut.
"Here we are." Volo says, "I know, I know - it's no palace. But you know the saying about beggars and choosers."
As Ash follow Volo, he find a woman drinking some tea at the desk, she says, "Shirking your work to come to pester me again? Even beneath a bleeding sky, you never change."
"Always a pleasure, Mistress Cogita." Volo says.
"But I'm afraid I'm not here today to learn more of Hisui's myths and legends."
"No "mistress," thank you. Just Cogita. And this is?" Cogita asks.
"Why, Ash,Akari and Rei are the people of the hour." Volo says.
"They are the one who quelled the frenzy of all the Pokemon nobles, believe it or not."
"Ah, so you are Ash and Akari who lost in time and space." Cogita smiles. "Dear me, lost one...It seems I'll be able to fulfill my duty at long last, thanks to you."
"You must be wondering what I'm talking about, right? I am to guide you, lost one. For the task of preventing great disaster falls to you. The rift in space-time must be mended, lest time and space themselves be thrown out of balance. But come. You may enter my dear hideaway. There's much to be told."
"The space time rift is said to be a portal to innumerable other dimensions...In one such realm, far and farther still from ours, dwells almighty Sinnoh." said Cogita
"Diamond Clan's or Pearl Clan's ?" asked Ash
"The expanse from antiquity to eternity and the expanse to all sides, above, and below...Time traces the path we tread from the here and now into the future...While space yawns all-encompassingly, surrounding us in every direction. You see, don't you? The two together, time and space, comprise all creation - the universe. How can one claim that either is greater than the other, as those two clans do?"
"Time and space are inseparable, I believe that Almighty Sinnoh is not a ruler of time or space, infact it is the one who created the ruler of time and space. " said Volo
"Perhaps the truth is clearer to a wanderer such as you - one who has known other ages. Now listen, lost one. Here is what you must do. Hisui holds three lakes of great importance - " Cogita says.
"Lakes of great importance " asks Ash in confusion
"I assume you don't know. Each lake is guarded by the dieties. These are known as Mesprit, Azelf and Uxie. Uxie holds dominion over knowledge, Mesprit known as the being of emotion, Azelf dreaded being of willpower. Complete the trials each will set you, and bear their gifts to the Shrouded Ruins." Cogita says.
"There you may receive the Red Chain. With it, perhaps you can bind the world together."
Volo asks, "Ms. Cogita, You mean binding the world won't close the rift?"
"Kindly spare me your doubts, young man." Cogita says. "I know the old words and what they bid us do. How true they are isn't mine to know. And regardless of their truth, I am bound to pass them on. How callous of my ancestors - to leave their legends to their children without a thought for the hardship it would cause them! But...here we are. You know your duty, and you'll do it. Won't you?"
"Of course, we are going to do this." Ash says along with Akari and Rei.
"There is nobility in knowing what must be done and seeing to it." Cogita says.
"Mistress Cogita's got a lovely workbench here. And if you need materials, I'd be glad to help. I'm always happy to do business with you." Cogita says.
"But what about the pastures? I mean, we only have 6 each, and what about the others?"
"Ah, that is a problem, isn't it? What shall we do about that, indeed?" Volo asks.
Just then, a cry of a Pokemon rings at their ears, and Cogita asks, "What was that cry? Have we now a lost Pokemon as well as a lost child? Do see to it, please."
"How could I refuse you, ma'am?" Volo says as they all head outside, only to see an Abra. The Abra belongs to captain Cyllene of the Survey Corps, and Ash is confused as to why it is here.
"It's got a letter...A letter addressed to you, Ash ,Akari and Rei" Volo says as he hands over the letter.
"To Ash,Akari and Rei: You may use my Pokemon as a go-between to access the pastures in Jubilife Village. I've also ensured that you'll be able to utilize our base camps without issue. I have every confidence in your ability as adept Survey Corps members to bring this bizarre situation under control promptly. Sincerely, Cyllene."
"Wow, I can't believe she would help..." Akari gasps.
"Good tidings from the letter, then?" Volo asks as Ash nodded as he noticed Irida and Adaman walking towards him.
"Brother Adaman, sister Irida what are you doing here " asked Ash as he ran towards them and gave them a hug.
"Ash,Akari and Rei you have been a great help to our clan, but after what happened with you recently. We decided to help you," said Adaman
"Thanks, but we want to take this on my own from here. You guys already helped me with the quelling stuff and now I don't want to be a root cause for any clash between you and galaxy team." said Ash,Akari and Rei
"It's not like that, we really want to help you. We can help you out in secretly to resolve all this problem" said Irida
"We spoke to members of our clan and reassured them that nothing serious will happen. And wardens of our clan are keeping close eye on nobles " said Adaman
"That's great ! You both are trying to help Ash. It seems there are few people on which they can rely on" said Volo
"Actually, They can only choose one of us. Either me or Irida. We both are okay with it if you choose any one of us" said Adaman
"That's the tough decision, both of you are good in your own ways but if I have to choose someone then I choose sister Irida" said Ash
"I choose Adaman" says Akari
Volo says, "So, then,"
"Akari and Ash, you two go with them. I will stay here and understand what should we do next" says Rei as both of them nodded.
"Well, the first task will be to decide which of the Hisui region's three great lakes to visit first." Irida says.
"But yes, we should get moving! I'd rather we walk this road together, but if the commander were to get wind of it, it would only make things worse..."
Adaman says, "All right, let's do what needs doing."
"Where are going first," asked Volo
"Towards Lake Verity" said Akari
