Chapter 1.
"Stupid Gregor, I can't believe Sam wouldn't trust me and would kiss that faker." Danny said as he flew away from his friend and ex-girlfriend. Sam started to hangout with a boy named Gregor and since Danny met him, he didn't trust him. Why? For one, Gregor was using a fake accent and said he was from Europe. Two, conveniently he had too many things in common with Sam and Tucker and three, he reminded him of the guys in white. He was going to give Gregor a chance but when he saw Sam, his girlfriend, kiss Gregor. It felt like his heart was ripped out his chest.
As he was flying his ghost-sense went off. "Great, I needed a punching bag." Danny said as he flew towards the area. He arrived at a movie theater and saw Ember terrorizing some random couples. "Hey has-been, can you leave these couples alone. They don't want to listen to your terrible singing."
Ember turned to Danny with an evil smirk. "Well well well, you're finally here dipstick. I will finally have some good therapy." Ember said changing her knob and sending a ecto fist towards Danny. Danny was sent flying into the sky. Danny recollects himself and charges the rockstar and grabs her leg, dragging her away and throwing into a billboard. "I'm sorry I couldn't make you famous but at least you're on a billboard." Danny said before shooting a beam at Ember.
Ember collected herself and glared at Danny. "You sure you're a hero, you seem more like a joke." Ember before firing a pink ghost ray meeting Danny's green one.
"Coming from the clown herself, who knows? It would be a good second career choice." Danny said, pushing his attack forward, hitting Ember. The ghost rockstar was hit and surprised at how strong his attack was.
'Wow if I didn't know any better, it felt like he was trying to end me.' Ember thought to herself before she reached for her guitar and noticed it was missing.
"Looking for this." Ember looked up and saw Danny holding her guitar.
"Give it back to me, now!" Ember seethed with anger as the flames on her head grew.
"You want it, come and get it." Danny flew off into the distance, with Ember following. Danny flew over an empty warehouse and turned to Ember. "Now stand down."
"Dipstick, when I get my guitar back, I'm going to use it to make everyone hate you." Ember said.
Danny narrowed his eyes. "Then I guess I should destroy this." Ember eyes widened when Danny's hand started to glow green, charging a green ghost ray.
"W-wait, Babypop. I give up. I'll go back to the GZ." Ember said, shaking a bit. "Just please don't destroy my guitar."
"Why shouldn't I? without this, no more mind control or world domination." Danny said.
"Please Danny…" Danny's eyes widened when Ember said his name. "Don't destroy my guitar. It's very valuable to me, it's all I have and you're not that kind of guy. I only took control over people's minds to be noticed and loved, I'm not that bad. I know we're both angry but we can talk, you wouldn't destroy something precious to someone." Ember said, eyeing her guitar.
Danny started to collect his thoughts and sighed. "What am I doing?" Danny said, floating towards the ground and looking down in shame. "I'm sorry Ember. Here's your guitar."
Ember slowly approached Danny and collected her guitar. "Thanks babypop."
"Sure, if I'm honest. It would be ashamed not to hear your beautiful voice again." Danny said with a small chuckle. Ember blushed a bit. "Listen Ember, I'm sorry for taking my anger out on you." Danny said.
"What got you so angry anyway? It felt like you were trying to end me." Ember said.
"I could ask you the same thing." Danny said floating to the warehouse and sitting on the roof. Ember followed and both looked at the moon.
"Well, I'll tell you, if you tell me." Ember said.
"I owe you that. Do you remember Sam?"
"The goth sidekick? What about her?" Ember asked.
"Well, she was my girlfriend until I saw her kissing the fake goth she invited into our group. This weird guy who's faking an ascent for some strange reason. She started to blow me off more and more, so I bought tickets to a concert and when I went to search for her, she was smacking lips with Gregor. I flew away and ran into you." Danny said.
"Damn babypop, if I was you, I'd probably burn them to ash." Ember said. "It's funny, I'm actually angry for a similar reason. My ex-boyfriend Skulker, he kept forgetting our dates, never wanted to spend time with me nor give me gifts. It's always about him. He blew me off today and I got angry for the constant ignorance." Ember said.
"Then he blew it." Ember turned to Danny in confusion. "Honestly, even though you're my enemy. You are quite the catch. You're beautiful, a strong fighter, you have a badass personality and you're a wonderful singer." Danny stopped talking and blushed. "I'll..uh, just stop talking."
Ember was blushing up a storm. "Thanks babypop."
Danny smiled and then remembered something. "May I ask you something? And feel free not to answer." Ember looked at him and nodded slowly. "What did you mean you only controlled people to be remembered and loved?" Ember was quiet and didn't say anything. "You don't have to answer."
"No, it's ok." Ember said before taking a deep breath. "When I was alive, you would consider me the perfect definition of a nobody. I had no friends, I was bullied and my parents were assholes, thinking they knew what was best for me. My life was a living hell but there was one thing that made me happy."
"Your music."
Ember nodded. "Yea, my music was the only way I could express myself."
"That explains your song, Remember my name. Wait then what happens in September?"
Ember eyes widened. "You listened to my song?" Danny nodded. "Wow, who knew Danny Phantom was a fan of my music." Ember chuckled but looked down in dismay. "In September, I was asked out on a date by one of the popular guys in my school. I felt happy that someone took notice of me. I went all out, make-up, nice dress, the works. When I arrived at the theater, I stood there for hours, waiting and waiting but he never showed. Later that night I went home and decided to start the song. Next thing I know, my house caught on fire and I died." Ember said, trying to hold back her tears.
"That bastard." Danny muttered in a dark tone and eyes glowing green, shocking Ember. "No one deserves to be treated like that, to have their feelings played with. He better hope I don't find him nor his ghost because if I do, he'll be sorry." Danny said, surprising Ember.
"Babypop." Ember whispered before being pulled into a hug.
"I know we had our problems but you didn't deserve that. I'm glad you told me because I understand you more. Ember, after what I just heard, I don't want to fight you anymore. We both had a terrible night but let's restart this night as friends. If you ever need someone to talk to, to vent on or just to play your music with, I'll be there. This is my vow to you."
Ember started to cry and returned the hug. She didn't know why but she was feeling happy by his words. This guy who she considered an enemy, actually cared about her and wanted to be her friend. "Thank you… Danny. And I would love to be friends with you."
"Great, how about we go to the concert I was going to take Sam to. It's a place called American Adventures." Danny said.
"Oh, that was an amusement park. It's pretty fun. Wait…you want me to go with you?" Ember asked in a surprised tone.
"Sure, I don't mind." Danny said with a smile, making Ember blush.
"Then I'll be happy to go." Ember said.
"Great, but I have to go home and get my guitar." Danny said.
"You have a guitar?" Ember asked with a little excitement.
"Yeah I used to play it before I got my powers. Being a hero got in the way and I couldn't play as much." Danny said. "But after hearing you sing, I might want to start again."
Ember smiled. "I'll teach you some songs and maybe if you're lucky, we'll do a duet." Danny chuckled and the two flew towards Danny's house.
"And we're here." Ember said as they floated above the park under the moon.
"Huh, how come I never heard of this place?" Danny asked.
"Really? This has been around since I was alive. But I heard they're closing soon." Ember said before sniffing the air. Danny also took a whiff and both the eyes spread wide open. "Fried Oreos!"
Ember looked at Danny with a shocked expression. "You like Fried Oreos, too?"
Danny rolled his eyes at the question. "What teenager doesn't like food that's bad for your teeth and health? It also goes well with chili fries." "And onion rings." "Don't forget the corndog." "There's also caramel apples." " and cotton candy." Danny and Ember said back and forth, drooling a bit.
"After you, my lady." Danny said.
Ember giggled. "Well, what are we waiting for?" Ember as she grabbed Danny's hand they flew down to the park. Ember realized she was holding Danny's hand and blushed. 'Funny, his hands are cold.' The first ride they went on was the bumper cars, Ember became aggressive as she kept trying to hit Danny but the hero would retaliate. After that, they went on a roller coaster and the sling shot.
"Are you hungry?" Danny asked. They were floating over the amusement park aftet enjoying the rides.
Ember rolled her eyes. "Ghosts don't need to eat dipstick but I am craving some junk food." Ember said.
"That explains why I don't get hungry as much. Anyway, what do you want first?" Danny asked.
"Hmm, how about chili fries and some fried oreos." Ember said.
"As you wish." Danny said, walking towards the food stand. Ember looked at Danny and gave a warm smile. She had to admit she was having fun and now that she thinks about it, Danny might be the only ghost that could relate to her. Other ghost was weird and evil, she just wanted to have fun with no limits. Sure, she admits controlling people's minds was wrong but it was because she wasn't certain that her music was good. Then she remembered that Danny said she was a great singer. 'He really wouldn't have a reason to lie and I didn't hypnotize him. He actually likes my songs. Since we're friends, I'll give up world domination.'
Danny flew back to Ember with some chili fries and fried oreos, handing some to Ember. "Here you are my lady. Junk food that'll make us sick to our stomach."
Ember giggled. "You done good." Ember said, patting Danny's head. They both sat at a bench and began to enjoy their junkfood. "Danny, thanks for inviting me."
Dany turned to the rockstar and smiled. "Thanks for being here, I had fun with you. I feel stupid now. If I knew you were this cool of a person, I would've done this a long time ago."
"Then why didn't you?" Ember asked.
"I used to think every ghost was nothing but trouble but hanging out with you, I realized I was wrong. I need to learn more about you and the others, maybe I can help you guys." Danny said.
"Help us how?" Ember asked.
"Well, you want to be a rockstar. Since I'm popular as a hero, maybe I can use my fame to get people to listen to your songs. You're a fantastic singer, I'm sure people will love you without you hypnotizing people." Danny said.
"You'll actually do that for me?" Ember said.
"Yeah, think of it as a new start." Danny responded. The hero was caught off guard when Ember hugged him.
"Thanks, Babypop." Ember in a sincere tone. Danny returned the hug without saying anything. Ember broke the hug and gave Danny a suspicious smile. "You know, if you're good at the guitar, you can join me and return, I might help you with the hero stick."
"But I thought you don't do duets." Danny responded, with an amused smile.
"I don't but you might be special." Ember responded. Danny chuckled then gasped when he saw people walking towards a big tent.
"The concert is about to start, we should go." Danny grabbed Embers's hand and flew to the concert. Unknown to the ghost boy, Ember was staring at their hands but for some strange reason she didn't want to let go. She felt safe and something in her core was calling out for Danny. Danny landed in the line, followed by Ember. They soon made it to the door guard and when the guard landed his eyes on Danny, he gasped.
"Y-you're Danny Phantom! The Ghost Hero. it's an honor." the guard said before turning to Ember. "Ember Mcclain? The Ghost Rockstar and Diva. I know this is uncharacteristic but may I have both of your autographs?" The guard asked, pulling out a market and a paper from the clipboard.
"Wow, um sure." Danny said, grabbing the marker and paper before signing it.
"Wow, Babypop. I didn't know you had fans like this." Ember chuckled before signing it.
"Thanks, you two may go in." The guard said, trying to compose himself. Danny and Ember grabbed each other's hand and flew in.
"It seems we got front row seats." Danny said as he and Ember flew above the crowd, gaining attention.
"Is that Danny Phantom?" Star asked. She and the A-listers were at the concert and spot Danny Phantom.
"Yoohoo, Ghostboy!" Paulina waved. When Danny heard this, he turned to Paulina and groaned.
"What's the matter, Babypop?" Ember asked.
"My stalker, she has a major crush on the ghostboy." Danny answered. Ember turned to Danny then to Paulina and smirked.
"Then let's give her something to see." Ember said before kissing Danny on the cheek, making everyone gasped and Danny blushing.
"Stay away from my Ghostboy!" Paulina yelled in rage. Ember chuckled and pulled Danny to the front of the crowd.
"Wow, Danny Phantom is dating Ember McClain!" Dash cheered.
"Not if I have something to say about it. The ghost boy will be mine." Paulina declared.
"Nice seats." Ember said, landing in front of the crowd and turning to a dazed Danny, who had a goofy smile. "Uh, Babypop?"
"Huh, what?" Danny responded, snapping out his gaze.
"Wow, you're such a dipstick. You act like you have never been kissed by a girl before." Ember said.
"Not one as beautiful as you." Danny mumbled then covered his mouth. Ember gave him an evil smirk.
"Oh, is the town's local hero developing a crush on an enemy?" Ember teased.
"Former enemy and what's not to like?" Danny teases back, making Ember blush as she looks into Danny's eyes. Both their eyes started to glow green as they smiled warmly at each other. Soon the crowd started to cheer as the curtains went up and the two ghosts turned to the stage.
"THANKS EVERYONE FOR PARTICIPATING TO THE FINAL YEAR OF AMERICAN ADVENTURE CONCERT 2000 FESTIVAL. WERE WE HAVE MULTIPLE ROCK ARTIST AND GROUPS. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE SHOW!" The announcer before turning to the front, seeing the two ghosts. "AND WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE? OUR LOCAL GHOST HERO AND THE ROCK DIVA, DANNY PHANTOM AND EMBER MCCLAON." The light shone on the ghosts, to the delight of Ember and embarrassment of Danny. "IT ALSO SEEMS THAT THEY'RE OUR TICKET WINNERS. CONGRATULATIONS, NOW LET'S BEGIN THE CONCERT WITH OUR FIRST GROUP AND ONE OF THE BEST, LINKIN PARK!" The group walked on the stage and began playing.

The crowd was cheering. "I got to say Babypop, I might be old school but those guys rock." Ember said.
"I know, I started to listen to them recently. I can't wait to see who else comes up on stage." Danny responded. More artists started to join like Humpty Dumpty (for those who don't know, they're a rock group in the show. Not real.) Breaking Benjamin, Three day Grace, Sum 41, Papa Roach and Evanescence. Ember loves the latter, especially Amy Lee's dark Gothic look. After Evanescence performed 'Taking over me.' Amy walked to the stage and grabbed the mic.
"HELLO AMERICAN ADVENTURE! THANKS FOR BEING HERE BUT UNFORTUNATELY, IT'S ALMOST COMING TO A CLOSE." Amy said before turning to Danny and smirking at Ember. "SO TO END IT, I WAS THINKING OUR GHOST DIVA AND HERO GIVE US A SHOW. WHAT DO SAY, YOU TWO?"
Ember's eyes widened in excitement and looked at Danny. "Come on Babypop, let's do it! We can't let down our fans and you said you play guitar." Danny was nervous and went invisible.
"I-I'm not sure, I mean my sister said I can sing but it's been a while and.." Danny stopped talking when he felt Ember grabbed his hand. He turned to her and blushed.
"I'm right beside you, Babypop. Where's that Hero confidence?" Ember asked. Danny turned back visible and nodded at Ember.
"Sure, just don't laugh if my sister was wrong." Danny joked, making Ember chuckled. Danny and Ember floated to the stage and Turned to Amy. "Is it alright if we sing one of your songs?"
"Which one?" Amy asked. Danny whispered in Amy's ear, making her smirk and looked at Ember. "Sure, I would be honored if Ember McClain sings that song." Ember approached the rockstar and Amy whispered in her ear, making Ember nod.
Ember approached the mic and grabbed it. "ALRIGHT AMERICAN ADVENTURE! ARE YOU READY FOR THE FINALE? I, EMBER MCCLAIN ALONGSIDE DANNY PHANTOM, WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. HIT IT!" Ember said as she and Danny pulled out there guitar

The crowd stood up and cheered for the two ghosts. "DANNY, DANNY, DANNY!" "EMBER, EMBER, EMBER!" Danny bowed and Ember's hair started to rise from the cheering. The rock groups clapped their hands for the teenager.
"Got to say, Danny Phantom. You can sing, you have no reason to doubt yourself." Amy said.
"She's right, Babypop. Your sister was telling the truth." Ember said.
"Thanks, would it be ok to get a group picture with you guys?" Danny asked, earning a confused look from the group.
"Umm, Phantom. You do realize the tickets were backstage passes?" Chester from Linkin park asked. Ember and Danny pulled out their tickets and turned it around.
"How did I not realize?" Danny asked himself.
"You really are a dipstick." Ember said. As the concert ended. The two ghosts went into the back and joined the multiple artist.
"That was awesome." Danny said as he and Ember were in his room. They just returned from the concert and still had the excitement.
"I know, it was good to experience some new artists." Ember said, holding up her autograph photo and shirt, alongside the ticket pass. Ember turned to Danny and hugged him, surprising him. "Thanks for inviting me, Danny."
"No problem, Rockstar. Honestly, I think I should thank Sam and the fake goth. If I never caught them kissing, this might've not happened. And the best part is." Danny started pulling back from the hug and looking at a confused Ember. "I think I enjoy hanging out with you more than the whole time I dated Sam. I never realized how awesome you are."
Ember blushed and gave a warm smile. "You know how to make a girl feel special." Ember said before adopting a teasing smirk. "You know, you have me alone in your bedroom and I owe you for inviting me."
Danny blushed and chuckled. "And you repaid it with your happiness." Danny said before caresing Embers cheek. "While I would love to enjoy the night with you, maybe we should go on another date before we hit third base."
Ember was touched on how Danny cared for her and smirked at the request. "Are you saying you would like to go on another date with me?"
Danny blushed harder but died quickly. "You know what, yeah. I wouldn't mind. I had fun tonight and if it's going to be like this everytime I hangout with you, I would love to go on other dates with you. You're way better than Sam."
Ember was shocked, no one wanted to date her when she was alive and when she tried dating as a ghost, she dated Skulker and it was terrible. But to hear one of the cutest boys she met wanted to go on a date with her and also likes music and plays guitar. "How can I say no, just give me the time and place, and I'll be there."
"Sure, how about next Saturday. I'll let you choose the place." Danny offered.
"I'll be here." Ember said. "I have to go back to my realm, I'll catch you later." Ember said before kissing Danny's cheek and disappearing in a swirl of flame.
"What, you've been spying on me?" Sam asked, glaring at Danny.
"Told you it was a bad idea?" Tucker said. Danny glared at Tucker before turning to Sam.
"I thought he was a spy for the G.O.W but what I found was that my now ex-girlfriend was kissing someone else." Danny said.
Sam gasped and looked down in shame. "Sorry but- wait, ex-girlfriend?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, I realized you really like the fake goth and I want you to be happy. We've been drifting apart ever since he arrived and it's pretty clear you seem to enjoy being around him." Danny said before getting up. "I won't spy anymore but I hope I'm wrong about him." Danny said.
Tucker turned to Sam in with a surprise look. "You kissed Gregor?"
Sam rolled her eyes and folded her arms. "He kissed me."
"But did you stop it or return it?" Tucker asked.
"I…uh..returned it." Sam said in a guilty tone. "I'm sorry but I was going to end it with Danny to be with Gregor but I didn't know he would spy on me?"
"But wouldn't you do the same thing if he was dating a girl?" Tucker asked.
"I'll only do it because I would be worried about him." Sam said.
"Just like who he was about you?" Tucker responded.
"Tucker, it's not the same." Sam responded.
"How is it not?" Tucker asked. Sam opened her mouth to answer but nothing came out. "I thought so." Tucker said, whipping out his P.D.A. "Huh, looks like Danny decided to hangout with someone else too." Tucker said, showing Sam the video of Danny and Ember at a concert.
"What? He hung out with McClain and had the nerve to get mad at me." Sam said.
"Chill out, we know Danny doesn't have a thing for Ember. So don't jump to conclusions." Tucker said.
"Hey Samantha." The two turned to Gregor approaching them. "I see that Daniel is not here today."
"Yeah, he found out about your smooch fest and left." Tucker said, taking another bite of his sandwich. "I got to say, he took it better than expected."
"I'm sorry for causing problems for Daniel, it was…how do you say it? Uncool of me." Gregor said.
"It's fine, he gave us his blessing to be together." Sam said. Gregor smiled at this and Tucker was unsure.
Danny was walking out of the school after the break-up with Sam. he saw Sam holding hands with Gregor and Tucker walking by them. "Huh, it really doesn't bother me. I wonder how Ember is doing?" Danny asked himself then his ghost sense went off. He looked up and saw Desiree flying in the air. "Great, I wonder what she's up to?" something crossed his mind. He remembers what Tucker said about Desiree's past and her being framed by the Sultan's other wives because of their jealousy. 'Maybe not all ghosts are bad, I mean Ember had a bad past and Desiree is granting wishes because she has to. I wonder?" Danny ran back inside the school and transformed into Danny Phantom, then took off into the air after the wishing ghost. "Desiree!"
Desiree turned around and saw Danny Phantom, making her groan. "Great, can't I have just a little freedom?" Desiree said, stretching out her arms and trying to grab Danny.
"Wait, hold on! I'm not here to fight." Danny said, dodging the genie's attacks.
"Really, prove it." Desiree said, narrowing her eyes on the ghost hero. Danny looked around and flew towards the roof of a building and transformed back to his human form, shocking the genie. "Why are you acting like this?"
"Well, after last night. I started to think that maybe all ghosts aren't bad and I want to help you with your wishing problem." Danny said.
"Really, and how are you going to do that?" Desiree asked.
"I wish you would only grant the wishes that you want to grant." Danny said.
"Huh, um… so have you wished it, so it shall be!" Desiree said before being covered by pink smoke. When the smoke disappeared, she looked at her hands and at Danny. "Try making a wish."
"Um, I wish for some ice cream." Danny said.
"May I have some as well?" Desiree asked but was happy. She didn't grant the wish. "I'm free!" she said before hugging Danny. "Thank you ghost child. You free me from my curse."
"No problem, maybe now we can be friends?" Danny offered.
Desiree gave Danny a skeptical look. "What changed your mind about me?" Desiree asked but saw Danny looked away blushing.
"You see, I went out with Ember last night and once I understood her, I felt like I was quick to judge all ghosts." Danny said.
"Really? I saw her happy last night and it made me happy. I told the girl not to date Skulker and I guess she learned from that." Desiree said. "How did you two meet up?"
"We;;, I saw my ex kissing another guy and I was upset. I ran into Ember and saw her taking out her anger on some couples and we fought. I was upset, I threatened to destroy her guitar and that scared her. When I realized what I was going to do, I apologized, we talked and I invited her to a concert." Danny said.
"You and Ember, eh?" Desiree teased.
"What?! no, it's not like that. We're just friends." Danny said, blushing.
"That's not what your cheeks say." Desiree teased. Danny rubbed the back of his head and chuckled nervously.
"Yeah, I admit it. I like Ember." Danny said, making Desiree clap her hands in excitement. "You know, I can use some advice, if you don't mind."

Ember was strumming her guitar and couldn't help but think about that night with Danny. That was the first time she had fun with someone besides Kitty, in her life and after life. It's weird because they were originally enemies but after getting to know him and finding out he can sing, she knew one thing. "Ember, are you in there?" Ember snapped out her thoughts and saw Kitty floating in her realm. "What's going on girl? You look happy, I thought you would've been mad after Skulker's break up."
Ember looked at Kitty and gave her a small smile. "I think I have a crush."
Hey, Animeharem here and Happy Halloween. I wanted to try something outside of Anime and one of my favorite cartoons growing up. Danny Phantom. In this the pairing will be Danny x Ember by this won't be a saving the world fic. There will be fighting but this is mostly for entertainment on how Ember will influence Danny's life and them constantly making out with each other. Ember will become a halfa and as for Danielle, a lot of people have done this but I like the idea of her being Ember and Danny's daughter and I have a way to make it happen.
