Second, this chapter is a rather unique one. This one is based off an idea from me, not the show. This episode is a fan-made one called "Scream for Ice Cream". To be with the spirit of the season, this one's a Halloween special! As for who the villain is played by, I would imagine someone like Fred Stroller. If that doesn't make sense for this chapter's context, I apologize. Either way, hope you like it!

tanhey: I thank you for your comment! I actually created this story because I thought, "Hey, why don't they have enough romantic fanfics, and why don't they have more female members of the team?" Long story short, Jeanine Duff was born! Also, Ace and Lexi do have high expectations of the team and themselves because they wouldn't want to let Acmetropolis down. I plan on expanding Jeanine and Ace's friendship in the future (hey, who knows, maybe it could develop into something else?) Anyway, thank you.
Now that that's out of the way, we now return you to your regularly scheduled Halloween special fanfic.
On a crisp October evening, a group of daycare students were playing in Acmetropolis Park. While they were playing, an ice cream truck stopped in front of them. Excited, the kids fished some money out of their pockets, and ran towards the ice cream truck. The truck's door opened, and out popped a man with a messy stack of brown hair, dimples, and a fake overbite. "Hello, kids, how are you doing on this fine day?" he asked. "We're doing great, sir!" a young boy answered. "You all have your money?" he asked. The kids all handed him their money. "Well, come in!" the server cheered as the back truck doors opened. Though the kids were confused, they ran inside the truck.
The kids were excited to get their ice cream. "When can we get it?" a young girl asked. "In a minute, kids. I gotta do something. Just open the freezer, and I'll right back." the man said before he walked away. The kids opened the freezer door, but instead of ice cream tubs, there was a blue portal. "Hey, where's the ice cream?" one boy complained. "Yeah, I want my neapolitan!" another girl whined. "You want ice cream?" a voice from inside the freezer. "Yes!" They all chanted. "Well... I'LL GIVE YOU ICE CREAM!" it yelled. Then, a barrage of rainbow-colored vines came out, grabbed the children, and dragged them in the freezer. The man walked out smirking. "Welcome, new employees." He said before closing the freezer door. "Don't worry, Master, you shall get more food soon enough." the man said before cackling.
Meanwhile, at the Loonatics tower, it was a spooky time. Since it was the day before Halloween, they were all trying out their costumes. Slam, however, wanted to try out the candy. He attempted to sneak some candy out of a bowl, but Lexi brain blasted him before he did. She was dressed as a naval officer, and was wearing a blue ribbon instead of her green one. "Nice try, Slam, but we gotta wait until tomorrow. It's always best to wait until Halloween night." she said. Slam frowned as he put the bowl away. "Hey, has anyone seen my shades? I left them around here somewhere." Tech asked. His outfit was all black, minus the white undershirt he had on. He also had a dark black tie to match. "How do I look, guys?" Duck said as he walked into the room. He had on his Loonatics outfit, but on top of that was a kissing booth that read "Kissing Booth: Five Dollars for the Hottest Duck in town!" "Give me those!" Tech said as he snatched them away. "What are you supposed to be?" Duck asked. "An agent from the Acmetropolis Intelligence Department, home of the some of the best federal agents in Acmetropolis. They also have some of the most prestigious inventors, and I dream to be among them one day. Plus, your outfit just seems like a way to get girls to kiss you." Tech commented. "It is not just a method to get girls to kiss me. It is a method to see me as the hot duck I am, and for them to display their affection, for five dollars each." Duck explained. "Which basically seems like a method to get them to kiss you." Lexi summarized before giggling. "Fine, then. I'll change it to four." Duck said before walking off.
Just then, Jeanine walked in. "Great costumes, guys! What do you think of mine?" She asked. For Jeanine, it was obvious who she should go as: Mercury Lewis. She had on a reddish-brown double-ponytailed wig with blue streaks, a sleeveless dress with many different shades of blue, light blue gloves, blue witch-like boots, a sparkling blue bow, and a shiny plastic wand to go with it. "That looks adorable, Jeanine." Lexi commented. "I'm not really well versed in the world of anime, but I agree." Tech added. "Thanks, but it's not just me. For I have my faithful righthand!" Jeanine said, motioning towards the door. "Presenting, Hunter Strong!" Ace then leaped out of the hall, wearing a costume consisting of goggles, a dark black coat, a light black undershirt, gloves with yellow highlights, dark green pants, a black belt, and black and yellow boots. "Um, Jeanine, not to be rude, but who am I again?" Ace asked. "You, Ace, are the great Hunter Strong, master of the sword, skillful with sarcasm, and initial rival to Mercury. I thought it matched you. Plus, Rev wanted to go as the Flash." Jeanine explained. "Well, I'm honored that you chose me." Ace said. Just then, the candy bowl landed right next to him. It turned out Slam had managed to down the entire bowl. "Slam, I told you to put that up!" Lexi gasped. Slam made an embarrassed smile, followed by a burp.
Then, Zadavia's hologram appeared. "Happy Halloween, Loonatics." she greeted. The Loonatics all gathered around. "Happy holiday to you too, Zadavia." Jeanine responded. "I wish you could have a free day, but something strange is going on in Acmetropolis Park. A group of daycare students were spotted by an ice cream truck, and were brought inside." Zadavia started. "Um, not to be rude, Boss Lady, but doesn't that sound more like a job for the police?" Duck asked. "Let me finish. The students strangely went missing, and not even the teacher knows their whereabouts. I managed to find the owner of the truck, Nathan Layne, owner of a place called Layne's Creamery." she said as a picture of Nathan appeared. "Weird. I've been to all the creameries in town, and I've never heard of that place." Ace said. "Even that, I still can't figure out. I've looked up many of Acmetropolis' records, and there has been no location called Layne's Creamery. You need to find him, and get more information. But be careful. Something tells me he might have a few tricks up his sleeve. Zadavia, out." Zadavia said before her hologram dispelled. "Ok, gang. You heard the lady! Let's jet!" Ace exclaimed.
Later, the gang arrived at the Park on their Zoomatrixes. When they arrived, things looked normal. Too normal. They saw the ice cream truck and walked up to it. It said, "Layne's Creamery". Strangely, the window was closed. "Hey, Layne guy, open up!" Duck said, banging on the door. When he was done, Nathan opened the door, a goofy smile on his face. "Well, hello there. I'm Nathan, at your service. What would you like?" "We'd like the scoop on what you're up to!" Lexi said. "Nice pun. But, I don't know what you're talking about." Nathan said, casually. "Mr. Layne, why would you be running an ice cream truck in the middle of October? It could lead to indigestion and harm of the immune system. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen." Tech said. "I'd do anything to make the kids happy. Maybe that's what you kids need. Some ice cream to calm your nerves. Come on in." Nathan said. The back doors then opened by themselves. "Um, I believe there's something wrong with your doors, sir." Ace said. "Nope, everything's fine. Come in." Nathan said, motioning. The Loonatics were suspicious, so Ace mouthed "Keep your guard up". They silently entered, but nothing happened. "Look, Mr. Layne, we just want to ask what you think happened to those kids." Jeanine said. "Well, the last time I saw them, they went in the freezer." Nathan said, opening the door. "And that's exactly where YOU'RE headed!" Nathan said, his voice becoming metallic. A barrage of rainbow vines then came out, grabbing the Loonatics. They screamed as they were dragged in, slowly. "You won't get away with this!" Jeanine yelled. "I can, and I will. Have fun!" he smiled. The Loonatics let out a long scream as they fell into the icy abyss below.
When the Loonatics woke up, they were inside the freezer. There was much more room on the inside. It looked like a winter wonderland. "Is everyone all right?" Lexi asked. "Yeah, I think so." Jeanine commented. She looked around and noticed Ace wasn't with them. "Hey, do any of you see Ace?" she asked. The others looked around. "Well, if he's gone, we shouldn't panic. He's probably around here somewhere. Rev, can you look for him?" Tech ordered. "On it." Rev began to zoom around. "Well-from-what-I-can-tell-this-place-seems-endless-And-man-is-it-cold-Makes-sense-There's-snow-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see-and-Wait-I-found-him!" he yelled. The others ran towards Rev's location. He was pointing towards a silhouette that looked like Ace, and the silhouette was standing next to a giant blue flower. "What's a flower doing in a freezer?" Jeanine asked. "This Nathan guy must've had a severe case of crazy." Duck commented.
They all walked over to Ace, whom did not seem to notice them. "Hey Ace? Are you okay?" Jeanine asked, slowly stretching her arm to touch his shoulder. He didn't react at all. When Jeanine pulled her arm back, she found a weird yellow goo with black dots. She wiped it off the glove. They all walked closer to the flower. "What do you think it does?" Lexi asked. "I'm not sure. Flora normally don't grow in frigid temperatures like these." Tech said. "Stand back, I'll handle this." Duck said, pompously. He attempted to throw a fire egg at the flower, but when he did, rainbow-colored vines spewed out of the flower and grabbed his arm. He tried to pull his arm away, but it had a strong hold on it. Lexi attempted to help pull him away, but more vines came out and wrapped themselves around the two. Afterwards, the flower pulled the two inside with a gulping noise.
Slam, Tech, Rev and Jeanine screamed in fright. Ace, on the other hand, had his expression change from stoic to a slight smirk. Jeanine heard Ace mutter something. She took a look at him, and her jaw dropped in shock. Ace looked completely different now. His ears looked like plastic candy wrappers, his Hunter Strong costume looked like creamy dark chocolate, and his body was made up of what seemed like cookie dough ice cream. So that's what that goo was, Jeanine thought to herself. Ace then said, "I hope Master likes them." Jeanine was highly confused by this comment. What happened to Duck and Lexi? Who was Master? She assumed it was Nathan, and he must've had something to do with this. They all stared at the flower, waiting for something to happen. After a few seconds, the flower began to make a retching noise. It moved slightly, and soon, it barfed up two separate piles of goo. The Loonatics recoiled in disgust at the sight. Even Slam didn't think it looked appetizing. Strangely, the ice cream piles began to move by themselves. They began to take shape and grow body parts. When they were finished, it turned out both of the piles were creatures looking like Lexi and Duck! Lexi's ears were now peppermint sticks, and her hair ribbon was a piece of rainbow taffy. In addition, her sailor outfit now looked like waffle cone print, and her body was made up of strawberry ice cream. As for Duck, his beak was now an ice cream cone, and his body was made entirely of orange sherbert. His kissing booth was also redesigned saying "Layne's Creamery" in bright blue letters. "It worked! Master shall be thrilled!" Ace chuckled. "Ace, what are you talking about?" Tech asked. "Actually, I prefer the name Glaze now. These two are my friends, Lolli and Sucker. We must inform Master." Ace, or Glaze, said. "Great idea." Lexi, or Lolli, added. The three ran off, and the others ran after them. However, while they were running, four marshmallow people cane down from the ceiling, looks of fierceness on their faces.
While the four were staring at the marshmallow beings, they realized the four were much smaller than the three, but they were still candy elementals like them. They were the kids, and they must have been transformed by the flowers as well. They all pulled out candy cane shooters and said, "Must feed Master. Ice Scream needs food." "Really, candy cane guns?" Jeanine asked. "Sweet but deadly. Still, they could be dangerous." Tech said. One of the kids shot their candy cane gun at the Loonatics' feet, and out came what looked like a wad of bubblegum. The bubblegum then quickly transformed into a blue flower. The kids shot many more wads at the floor, and they all transformed into flowers the moment they hit the ground. Then, the kids ran off. The rainbow vines spewed out of the flowers, and aimed towards the Loonatics. The four ran in separate directions. Slam began to go into tornado mode when the vines came towards him, causing them to get trapped into the dizzying torrent. The vines eventually broke free from the flower's grasp, and Slam ate them. "Mmm, gummy worms!" he growled. Meanwhile, Tech took out a ray gun and began shooting it at the flowers. When it hit the flowers, they all exploded in a burst of fiery magma. "What do you got there, Tech?" Jeanine asked, using her flexibility to fight off her vines. "A special ray gun I made. I call it the Obsidian Ray. It shoots magma balls, and it can melt anything in a pool of magma. Just a little something I made in my spare time." Tech said while he continued shooting. Just then, a loud scream was let out.
It turned out Rev had been grabbed by one of the flowers, and it was close to pulling him in. "Um guys, help is needed!" Rev yelled. Slam rushed towards him, and began chewing at the gummy worm vines. While he was doing so, another flower grabbed Slam and began pulling him into. Eventually, both of them were stuck in the flowers. Tech and Jeanine were shocked. Now there were only two of them were left. Tech shot the rest of the flowers after two more ice cream piles were vomited up. "Now what?" Jeanine asked. "We need to find the others, and this 'Master' guy. We need to calm down. This is not the time to panic." Tech said. However, while he was saying that, rainbow vines grabbed him. He realized he unfortunately missed one of the flowers. "Statement retracted. This is a good time to panic." Tech said, worry in his voice. The flower began to draw him in slowly, just like the others. "Tech!" Jeanine activated her flexibility, and stretched her arms to grab the vines. She took a few steps back and pulled as hard as she could. The flower began to pull just as hard as Jeanine. Both forces were playing well at this game of tug-of-war, and it was unclear who would win the day. However, Slam and Rev's candy clones had regenerated, and they began pulling the vines on their side. Jeanine couldn't maintain a strong of a grip, and she finally let go. Tech managed to grab the Obisidian Ray out of his pocket, and tossed it to Jeanine. "Catch!" he yelled. She succeeded in doing so. "Destroy the flower as quickly as you can! You can't save me, but save yourself!" Tech yelled as he was pulled into the flower. Jeanine quickly activated the Obsidian Ray and aimed it at the flower, but Rev and Slam managed to make their own candy cane guns. "Sorry, Jeanine, but we can't let you destroy our support system." Rev said as he pressed a button on the candy cane. It shot out a glowing blue snowball, which landed right on Jeanine's head. She began to feel drowsy when it hit her, and in a matter of minutes, she was out cold.
Jeanine's POV
Everything on my body hurts right now. I just woke up, and everything hurts. The last thing I remember was Rev (or was it Rev?) hitting me with that snowball pellet. I slowly got myself up, and looked up. I was shocked by what I saw. There were a bunch of pink bubbles on the ceiling. I couldn't make out what was inside there, so I stretched myself up to get a closer look. First, I saw a group of eight or nine kids. Then, I saw Ace, Lexi, Duck, Rev, Slam, and Tech, all of them in separate bubbles. I even thought I saw that Layne guy in one of them. I tore off a light chunk off one of the bubbles, and popped it in my mouth. "Mmm, strawberry." I said to myself. "So this is where Nathan's been keeping them." "Not exactly, Jeanine." I heard Zadavia's voice. I looked around, and saw her hologram on one of the bubbles. "I did a bit of research, and I found out who Nathan Layne is." Zadavia told me. "Who?" I asked. "Not more so a who, but a what. Nathan Layne is what is known as a creamer, a ice cream clone/mutant of a person which is created through a Frost Flower." she explained. "That's what those versions of the gang are. They're not brainwashed, they're clones!" I said. "Yes, when the clones have enough time to develop, they begin taking on the original's appearance. Once the clone fully adopts the original's appearance, they can escape into the real world and cause as much chaos as they wish!" I was getting nervous. "What about the original? What happens to them?" "I was worried you would ask me that. The original gets trapped in those gum cocoons, and once the clone is fully developed, they are eaten." "EATEN?! Wait, if Nathan's one of the clones, who's really in charge?" I asked, terrified of this knowledge. "Well, that's where it gets interesting. The clones are made by-"
Before Zadavia could finish, a giant hand came and slammed the bubble, breaking off the connection. I looked and saw a giant blob of neapolitan ice cream. It had candy corn fangs, strawberry eyes, and a giant cherry on the top of it's head. I'm no genius, but I think I know what Zadavia was trying to tell me now. "Well, well, well, looks like the human is finally awake." it said. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am the founder of the creamers. I am Ice Scream." he said. "Oh. Well, what did you do to my friends?" I asked Ice Scream. "I turned them into creamers. Before you criticize me, they're happier now. I spoke with them, and they are happier than ever. They have new names now too, and they like them too: Glaze, Lolli, Sucker, Glam, Tic, and Reese." Ice Scream said. My friends all stepped forward. They looked exactly like ice cream people, and they had terrifying smiles glued on their faces, with glowing blue eyes. "Join us, Jeanine. We are happier here." Glaze said. "Yeah, Ice Scream freed us from the burdens of being a hero, and he trusts us more than Zadavia ever could." Lolli added. "Guys, do you hear yourselves? You guys sound like creeps right now." I told them. Their smiles increased more. "Don't worry, Jeanine. You don't have to panic. Without the Boss Lady, our lives are better." Sucker said. Glam simply made growling noises. "You can be a daughter of Ice Scream, like us." Tech said. "Join us." Rev added. Just then, I got an idea. I silently took out the Obsidian Ray behind my back and kinked it to the highest level.
"You know what? Yeah, you do seem a lot happier like this." I said. "I'm glad you see things their way, human. Children, hand me the candy cane gun!" Ice Scream demanded. One of the transformed kids handed him their gun. I knew that if he shot that flower, it was over. So, I held up my hand and said, "Wait!" "Yes?" Ice Scream asked. The others looked at me, intently. "Before I get transformed, can I talk to you, Mr. Scream?" I asked. "Well, I guess so. Make it quick!" Ice Scream held his hand down, and I walked on it. He pulled me up to reach his eye level. "So, when I get transformed, what will happen to my old body?" I asked. "Well, I eat your old body. That way, you will never have to return it." he said. I felt like vomiting in my mouth when I heard that. If this plan didn't work, my friends would become food for... whatever Ice Scream was. "Well, that sounds great. Would I have to get eaten by a Frost Flower, too?" I asked. "Yes, but don't worry. It won't be too bad." Ice Scream said. "Okay, but I have one more question. Can you cone closer, please?" I asked, motioning. "Ok." Ice Scream leaned in, and I shot the humongous lava ball in his mouth!
The Loonatic creamers all freaked out.They began screaming. "Oh no, Master! Help him! Save Ice Scream!" They all begged. However, it was too late, as Ice Scream was now fully melted. I then aimed it at them, destroying them as well. I felt dirty for doing that to people who looked like my teammates, but I had to save them. I still had more work to do.
No One's POV
"And so, after I got rid of the other creamites, I mamaged to use the Obsidian Ray to melt the cocoons and then I got the kids home and Mr. Layne out of the freezer." Jeanine said as she finished talking. The others were shocked. "That's beyond impressive, Jeanine. I never thought you could do that on your own." Ace said. "I didn't think I could either." Jeanine said. "So, what do you think we should do for the rest of the day? Zadavia gave us free time since Halloween's tomorrow." Lexi said. "Mr. Layne gave me a big candy bowl as reward. Why don't we munch on it?" I asked. Slam took the bowl and chowed it down almost instantly. "Slam!" The Loonatics growled. Well, maybe it would be best to go without candy for a little while.

I based it off of the Annoying Orange episode "Scream for Ice Cream" and the ROTTMMT fanfic "Funguses". You should read that fanfic. I totally recommend it. See you next time!
