A Monster Hearts Short

After the Halloween Party, the Normies left merrier than when they arrived. Even the Shariff and his deputies. This could be the first real step towards unity between the two worlds.

Now that the celebration is over, it's time for everyone's least favorite part. Clean up.

Frankie was helping cleaning off the tables one of the few remaining Normies that stuck around to help approaches her.

"Hey, Frankie!" Clair waves at the living cadaver. "What's with you and the key boy?" she points over where Sora is helping take down the balloon's along with Heath and Chad.

Heath takes one of the balloons and inhales. "Woah! Hey, guys! Listen!"

Chad takes a balloon for himself. "You sound ridiculous!"

Sora follows suit. "We all sound ridiculous!" and the trio bursts out laughing.

Frankie couldn't help but giggle at the display before turning back to the goth, "Nothing. Sora and I are just friends."

At that, Claire just deadpans, "Yeah, no. Chad and I are just friends. You two are something else."

"Don't bother," Cleo announces herself as part of the conversation. "Frankie doesn't seem to understand exactly what's going on."

"There's nothing going on!" the green ghoul tries to defend.

"It's okay, Frankie. As embarrassing and tacky he is…"

Frankie snaps. "Hey!"

But the mummy continues. "Sora's a good guy. Though, not everyone can have a good as a boo as my—Deuce!?"

Looking over, the Gorgon is now among the boys with his own balloon. He then counts to three before saying, "I told the witch doctor, I was in love with you."

Sora repeats. "I told the witch doctor, I was in love with you."

Followed by Chad. "And the witch doctor, he told me what to do."

Then Heath goes. "He told me…"

The group of boys stopped as Abbey is now standing over them, seemingly glaring. The yeti then reveals her own balloon. "Ooh ee ooh ah ah."

Everyone then finishes. "Ting tang walla walla bing bang!"

All the boys laugh while Abbey just grins at the group.

NOTE: This is part of a possible part for the main story of Monster Hearts. Perhaps I would have gotten to Ghouls Rule if I managed to stay on top of it and released it for Halloween. I haven't really written anything new for it. But I had this scene in my head that was inspired by a moment in Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs and thought that I had to share it.

NOTE 2: This would not be the final of what would make it into the main story as there is actually quite a bit that I didn't add as I don't really want to ruin too much of what I do plan.
