Today was supposed to be a calm and peaceful day for Hyro, the Saviour who defeated Exetior and Metallix. Unfortunately, it seems that fate had other ideas...
The ebony Hedgehog was now currently battling a group of strange looking resembling Gargoyles after being pulled through a portal and landing in some ruins where a battle must've taken place.
The gargoyle looking creatures were easily dispatched by Hyro.
("Now then, time to get some answers."), Hyro thought to himself as he picked up one of the creatures.
"Alright, who are you and what is this place?", Hyro questioned.
Just then, the creatures disappeared into black smoke, leaving Hyro alone.
"Great... Now what do I do?", Hyro stated quietly to himself, visibly annoyed.
"You wouldn't have gotten much of an answer from them. The Heartless aren't exactly known for their witty banter.", A female voice stated, catching Hyro's attention.
"The Heartless?", Hyro questioned as he looked towards the source of the voice, seeing a figure in a brown cloak standing on top of a large rock. The only thing visible being one of the figure's arms and the massive hammer she carried.
"Creatures born from the darkness in people's hearts.", The figure explained.
"You sound you like you've dealt with these creatures in the past.", Hyro replied, intrigued.
"I have for a while now. They've continuously hunted me, trying to steal my heart.", The figure continued with hyro pausing to understanding the phrasing of the statement.
"Wait... You mean your actual physical heart, correct? Not the romantic phrasing?", Hyro questioned.
"Yes... Those freaks are trying to my actual heat and cause me to be like them.", The figure replied.
"Hmm, considering what I've seen and battled. I can believe that.", Hyro replied, remembering when he fought to free the world from Exetior's diabolical clutches.
"So, what is this place?", Hyro questioned, looking around at the ruins.
"Allow me to help with that.", A friendly voice stated.
The two then looked towards the source of the voice and saw a tall and sharply dressed Skeleton.
"Greetings! My name's Jack Skellington, otherwise known as The Pumpkin King.", Jack stated, giving a showman's bow to the two.
"Interesting, A living Skeleton...", Hyro stated, visibly intrigued.
"And who might you two be?", Jack questioned.
"I am called Hyro.", Hyro stated simply.
"I am the Hammerwild.", The Hammerwild stated, removing her hood, revealing her face, causing Jack and Hyro to have looks of fascination.
"Incredible... A Heartless who actually has a heart! This is amazing! I must tell the good doctor about this right away!" Jack stated excitedly.
"I hate to burst your bubble here, but I'm not from this world. And not to mention, the Heartless attack me as well due to having a heart. I may resemble one of them, but I am not one of them...", The Hammerwild explained, causing Jack to be visibly guilty.
"I see... So, what about you? What brings you to Halloween", Jack questioned, this time towards Hyro in an attempt to avoid further awkwardness.
"In all seriousness, a random portal brought me here... and the most bothersome thing about this is that I was supposed to spend my day just relaxing with my family.", Hyro replied, having one in his jacket pocket while rolling his eyes, annoyed with his current situation.
"What happened here? It looks like a battle took place here...", Hyro questioned.
"Some time ago, Doctor Finkelstein and I were trying to make an artificial for the Heartless, so that they could help me with my routine for Halloween. Unfortunately, the heart was stolen and was given to Oogie Boogie, who tried to control the Heartless.", Jack explained.
"It sounds like this person was playing with fire so to speak...", The Hammerwild replied.
"Indeed...", Hyro added.
"Anyways, with the help of some friends. Oogie was defeated... or so we thought as he used the power of darkness to fuse with his manor. But he still lost.", Jack concluded.
"Hmm... Well, that's certainly interesting...", Hyro simply stated.
BOOM!
BGM: none
The ground shook vigorously causing Jack to partially lose his balance, however Hyro and The Hammerwild were unphased and looking towards a nearby dust cloud.
From out of the dust cloud, a hand resembling a claw extended towards Hyro. However, The Saviour was not intimidated and merely grabbed the wrist of his attacker, stopping the attack short.

Jack and The Hammerwild had looks of visible shock on their faces as Hyro whipped the attacker out of the dust cloud and slammed it into the ground some distance.
The attacker in question was a mechanical heartless with three heads in a jar.
"Another Chimera? Why do they always show up here?", Jack questioned, standing next to Hyro and shaking his head.
"That's what you're questioning?", The Hammerwild stated, now standing next to Jack and Hyro.
The Chimera then leapt to it's feet and launched itself towards the trio with Hyro cracking his knuckles in response.
However, Jack stepped forward and summoned an orb of energy that immediately stopped the Chimera in it's tracks and sending it crashing into the ground.
However, the Chimera leapt to it's feet and threw confetti up in the air, summoning four gargoyle Heartless.
The Hammerwild then cast off her cloak and leapt towards the aerial bound Heartless, grabbing one by it's wrist and hitting it with her hammer into the others, knocking them out.
Meanwhile, Jack managed to catch the Chimera's claw arm using a new weapon called the Soul Robber and was currently in the middle of a tug-of-war with the Chimera.
With the help of Hyro, Jack managed to send the Heartless flying into it's Gargoyle Cohorts.
The Heartless then all disappeared into black smoke, leaving the trio alone.
BGM: Final Fantasy VII OST – You Can Hear the Cry of The Planet
"Well... That was easier than I expected.", Hyro stated shrugging and shaking his head.
"Yeah. You look like you've seen a couple battles.", The Hammerwild stated with her hammer slung over her shoulder and cracking her neck.
"I've battled against a false god and a machine with a god complex. What about you?", Hyro questioned towards the red furred Simian.
"Unfortunately, I can't remember. I only know bits and pieces about The Heartless and how to fight.", The Hammerwild replied, picking up her cloak.
"I see... If it's any consolation, I don't sense any evil in you...", Hyro replied, crossing his arms.
"Hmm... That... actually clarifies things a lot now that I think about it...", The Hammerwild stated.
"*Ahem* Does this portal mean anything to either of you?", The voice of Jack questioned, catching the two's attention.
The two's eyes widen as The Pumpkin King stood a good distance away from a massive blue portal.
"That looks like the portal that brought me here. Perhaps it will be what I need to get back home...", Hyro stated, slowly approaching the portal.
"Are you sure this is a good idea...?", Jack questioned with unease.
"Honestly, I've seen a few bizarre things today... what's one more?", Hyro replied, continuing to move towards the portal.
"I should get moving too. There's still a lot I'm wanting to see.", The Hammerwild stated as she pulled a small device out of her pants pocket and pressed a button on while putting her cloak back on. Just then a red, purple, yellow and black colored version of the Kingdom Model Gummi Ship.
"Well, I hope if you two come back, you'll see what I have in store for Halloween.", Jack replied happily towards the two.
"I... can't make any promises on that...", Hyro replied, stopping in front of the portal and lowering his head.
"Neither can I...", The Hammerwild replied, lifting the hood of her cloak.
After that, the two warriors each left Halloween Town, leaving the Pumpkin King alone. Jack then made his way back towards town.

Hyro then woke up underneath a tree. The hedgehog looked around and saw that he was in land he had grown to call home. The Saviour then clambered to his feet and made his way towards the location of his Family...
And thus concludes another story.
