The Ritual of Despair

It was late at night as those around the resident of Vail were all went off in night time rest. There were less people on the street as they are were going on there way at home. One such individual wasn't out to going anywhere as he was just lost in his own thoughts.

The individual had blonde hair that were styled down as well as had blue eyes. He was wearing combat armor that resembles of a knight with the white chest plate and wore black pants with armor plating on the knees and feet. He also wore shoes that had labeled Left and Right on the back. He had his sword shelted and was hanging from his waist. His name is Jaune Arc. Son and heir of the Arc family.

Jaune was right now having a gloomy day. Scratch that. He had the most worse day ever. Today he had got rejected from joining his dream school, Beacon Academy. Not only was he rejected but the looks he got from those around him weren't helping. The same looks he got when he was a kid. Pity and Doupt. He hated it as he walked out from the school.'Why can't no one ever give me a break, I had enough of getting let down from everyone.'

His father didn't believe in him and thought that he was onmy gonna get him self hurt. His family wanted him to stay and let them continue on and not get him self hurt. And worse of all, He always had hurd roomers behind his back when ever he go anywhere. He went towards the near bench on the streets and sat down and try to clear his mind.

"Great, So I have enough money to survive for a few days and get a room. The remaining money would go to me getting back home... Like i would do that." He mattered,"I failed to go to my dream school and I failed to even get to show my self I'm not a failure."

Just once he wished that he would get a chance. A chance to get to be someone more. Rather then being stuck as a side character. And thus, He got his wish granted. He didn't notice someone coming towards him as a man in white suite and orange hair was looking at him with interest as he observe the boy. "You'll do nicely for the ritual boy."

Jaune had a second to look as he heard the man and then was greeted by darkness as he fainted.

"Ugh." Jaune slowly opened his eyes as the sun lights were shining appon him Right as he was getting out of the sleep state."What happened? What the heck am I doing hear. Did I got into a hungover?"

He looked around his surroundings to see he was no longer at the city but some deserted mountain area with the sea near it. He blinked as he looked at the surroundings closely."What on Remnant?! How did I get hear off all places! wasn't I in the city right now." He looked to find that he wasn't the only one with the question as there were other people there aswell. Some were Fanaus and some were humans. They aswell were confused as heck and didn't know what to do. His first though was to call someone for help But his scroll wasn't on him. As well as his family sword."Great, Someone took my Scroll. And my weapon is gone aswell!"

As he thought of asking someone. The atmosphere around suddenly start to get way tense then ever. He looks to see the light of the sun was getting dark as he looked up to find a solar eclipse was begging to take place."What the heck? why is-"

He stopped in his rant as when the Solor Eclipse was done the ground below them started to shook violently and giant cracks soon formed that bring out red light from them. Jaune was taken back as he didn't know if this was possible but what came next shocked him to the core. Small cracks were being formed on peoples chest as they all began to moan in pain as more and more happened. Jaune looks at them as fear sanked in his heart seeing people dying and not being able to do anything about it.

*Badum*Badum*

Jaune suddenly felt his chest hurting as his heart rate increased and gotten loud. He started to hear the voices of the past.

"Really, Him as a Huntsman. Who would want that."

"Seriously just get q new dream kid. Your not fit to be a Huntsman material."

"I know its hard to face the truth but reality is like that my boy. Theres just no way you could see through it."

"Look at him, He can't even fling a sword right and he says he would become a Hero. Big woop."

"You heard about the Arc family son. Hes told to be the weakest and doesn't have the strength. It must be a great shame to have a child like that am I right."

All those voices of failure and doubts on him as he felt the whole world was going against him. He felt more and more cracks take over his body. Suddenly a pair of dragonic wings came right out from his back as they were purple. He felt the pain grow more and more as something inside of him was breaking out and wanted to be out. The voices told him to let it go and take a rest. Let the inner phantom of his out. He was getting down more and more as he could still hear the voices. He was in giving up. As the felling of dying was taking over him.

"Like Hell I Will!" He shouted as he didn't back down."I..I m-may not be the strongest. I may be the weakest off them all. But, Like hell I'm gonna let them put me down! If others think that I'm nit worth it. Then I Just have to prove them Wrong!" He shouted as he looked around to see others didn't have the mind set and soon they fell as creatures of unknown burst out of them and took there place. He was shocked but didn't let it get to him. He looks towards the Eclipse and reached his hand infront like he was grabbing something."I-I Won't give up! I won't Fall! I will become... Become GREATEST.. SO I REFUSE TO DIE!"

With the determination he let out a roar and soon light had influnge him in a glow as he soon passed out. When he woke up, He looked to see if it was a dream or something. But no. It was real. Everything that happened was real as he find him self near the edge of the mountain near the sea. Jaune blinked as he heard the sound of river hitting the stones as there were some sorth of ashes falling on it. He didn't notice something coming from behind. Jaune could feel something off about him as something inside him changed. But, He can't out a finger on it. He didn't notice a lizard creature was sneaking uo to him from behind.

"HAAAAAAAAAH!" Jaune looked back as something came flying on him. Jaune had a second to think as the lizard monster came close.

=DEFEND PLEASE=

A shield suddenly materialized Infront of him and the creature as the creature was soon flung back by the force the shield produced. He got up and scoofed as he lost his prey. He then vanished into thin air leaving Jaune behind as he took heavy breaths to calm him down. He looked to see steps coming towards him and looked to see his saviour or enemy. What he saw surprised him.

Walking towards him was wearing something he couldn't explain. He wore some white robes over his body and a hood over his face but he also wore a mask that had ruby jems on it. And also a belt over his waist that resembles a right hand. The stranger walked towards Jaune as he was still on guard."You have passed the trial and achieved greater."

"Hah?" He said in confusing."Um, What? What do you mean?"

"You have held on to your hope in the time of despair. If you would have not then you would be dead and your inner phantom would have taken over your body and soul. Thus Killing you." The man in white told as Jaune had dread over him.

"Then I'm lucky then. But, What do you mean I have achieved greater? what have I become then?" He couldn't help but ask.

The stranger then told." Theres no thing as luck in this. You had the will to grab on to your hope and didn't let go. Those who have lost to despair would have died and gave birth to phantoms... But, Those who held on to hope and don't back down from there despair have the potential to become a wizard." He told thus shocking Jaune.

"W-Wizard?"

The stranger looks at him."Boy, What is your name." He asked as Jaune told him."Jaune... Jaune Arc." The stranger nodded."Jaune Arc, I'm know as The white wizard. Like you I had to had to go through the same procedure to not fall in to despair and become a wizard. But, My power isn't in the fullest no more and I'm not at my peak. Which is why I am asking you to take the mantle of Wizard."

Jaune didn't know what to say. Him becoming a wizard."But, But why? Why do I need to do this?"

"You see. When the Phantoms are born there only goal is to cause despair and bring out more phantoms from people who are know as Gates that have potential to become magic users. They have the use over magic and are unstoppable. It had happened in the past as I had stopped that from happening. But, Some phantoms escaped and had waited for the Eclipse to come and make more of there kind. Which thus came true and now there are no stopping them as they have an army now." He explained to him with dread in his voice."But, As I don't have my full strength no more, I can pass out my knowledge to you as you have achieved the power to use magic. You can stop the phantoms from going out of rampage and causing despair. That is if you want to do it."

Jaune looked at him as he continues."I won't force you to become a wizard as you are free to decline. It isn't an easy task to stop the phantoms and save the people as you would experience hardship and such. So it is why I'm giving you a choice." He held his hand towards Jaune."Take my hand and I will teach you everything you need to know about fighting the phantoms and saving the gates. But, You won't be able to live a normal life no more as you want. As you have to leave behind that life and your family behind Or You can refuse and I will simply take you back and erase what you saw and happened to you. You'll be safe as phantoms can't hunt you if you already have passed through the trial. Live a normal life as you want and you'll be free from the conflicts. So what will you choose."

Jaune sat there as he looked at the man in front who was giving him a choice in matter. He thought about it. All his life he wanted to become a Huntsman as to show he's also special andmake his family proud and show everyone that he won't fall. He left home and try to snuck in Beacons Academy with Fake transplants But got caught and didn't get his chance. But Now he was told by someone that he has potential and can become something greater. He could feel that its his new starting line. So why be no body if his given another chance. Jaune look at the man hands and slowly grabbed it. "I chose to fallow you. I don't want to blow a chance like this if I'm given one again. I already desided to leave my family behind the minute I want to become a Huntsman back then. If there are these phantoms that want to destroy humanity and cause despair then I'm not backing down. If I have the power to do so. Then I'll stop them!"

The man looks at his determination and thus nodded as Jaune could think he'll be smiling behind the ruby mask."Excellent choice my boy. So from now on. You are my student and I will show you the ways of becoming a Mage." A circle with a symbol on it appears beside him as he put his hand in and pulled out a the same buckle he had on his waist with a ring that had a red jewel on it."Take this, As it will help you to control your magic and more."

"Ok.." Jaune grabbed the buckle and the ring. He could feel a aura around it as he held on to it."So, When will we begin." He asked.

A large circle appears behind the white wizard."Come with me through this. This is where your journey will begin." Jaune nodded and fallowed him through the portal as it disappears.

Now is the start of the journey of the wizard of hope that will save Remnants from its despair.

Its Showtime!

Yup. Its my own RWBY x Kamen rider Wizard story.

So i got this idea on from The Chronicles Theater of Jaune Arc story. So Jaune has become the desiple of The white wizard and is now in a turn of his life as he becomes more then what he dreams off. Its gonna take way different turn then the Rwby storyline. Also, yeah ozpin and Salem will also be taking a major role in the story as it will come later in the chapters. So for now I'm gonna be working on this and Miraculous: Eternal Extreme story.
