"Good morning, everyone!" Angel said as soon as her audience took their seats after taking some breakfast from the buffet. "OK, let's recap from last night: Felix has given Mr. Agreste all the other Miraculouses except for Ladybug and Cat Noir's in exchange for the Peacock Miraculous. With all those Miraculouses in his possession, Mr. Agreste has become more powerful and has changed his supervillain name to Monarch. And throughout this season, he's able to give his akuma victims Miraculous powers as he's akumatizing them without giving them a Miraculous," Angel recapped to her audience.
"Yeah, but we don't know how," Marinette pointed out as the rest of the audience nodded in agreement.
"You all will see how soon enough," Angel said much to her audience's mild annoyance. "Let's get started. Now, the episodes are not named after supervillains anymore. The episodes in this season are named after a concept word and most of these concept words refer to a Miraculous. And whatever Miraculous is referred to that concept is the main Miraculous power used in the episode. For example, the first episode is called Evolution which refers to the Rabbit Miraculous."
"So, we're facing a supervillain with the Rabbit's power of time travel?" Adrien asked curiously as well as everyone else.
"There's no akuma in this episode. You two, along with Bunnyx, will be fighting against Monarch directly in the time burrow. He's using the Rabbit Miraculous himself to time travel. You'll see why. Anyway, let's start!" Angel said as she played the episode.
Scene: Rooftops of the Jardins du Trocadéro. Following the events of the previous episode, the Parisians continue cheering for a comforted Ladybug.
Parisians: Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug!
"See, m'lady? Even with your great mistake, all of Paris still supports us and I bet they'll never stop anytime soon," Adrien said to Marinette in comfort with everyone else softly murmuring in agreement much to the blue girl's relief.
Nadja Chamack: (off-screen) Paris is in great turmoil after the villain who now goes by Monarch has stolen almost every Miraculous from Ladybug.
Monarch: I am Monarch, more powerful than ever! Listen, I will be attacking you tirelessly! Unless someone brings me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous! (The Parisians start booing at Monarch.)
Nadja Chamack: Despite these threats, the population still supports Ladybug. Monarch may have won this battle, but the war for Miraculous has only just begun!
Ladybug: Hawk Moth, Shadow Moth, or Monarch — whatever your name is — you'll never steal Cat Noir's Miraculous, or mine!
Cat Noir: And we won't stop fighting until we've got every single one of the others back! (Cat Noir leaps out and successfully breaks Monarch's Shell-ter with his staff. Ladybug hurls her yo-yo and dissolves the akumas that were summoned by Monarch's Message Transmission. With his disappearance, the Parisians started cheering.)
Ladybug: Thank you, Cat Noir.
Cat Noir: It's you and me. (he turns and waves to the crowd)
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion's crypt. Gabriel stands in front of Emilie's cryogenic pod as the kwamis huddle fearfully behind him.
Gabriel: My love, I have taken control over the Guardian's magic jewels. Our victory is almost complete!
Ladybug: (on the rooftop of the Trocadero) Monarch's victory will never be complete!
Gabriel: All I need now are the Ladybug and the Cat Miraculous. Once I get them, I'll combine the two and fulfill the magic wish that will bring you back to me!
Sass: (flies beside Gabriel) Please reconsider. If you bring her back, someone will have to leave in her place. It's too dangerous!
Gabriel: Silence! (Sass' mouth magically closes shut, preventing him from speaking.)
"Great! Barely a minute in his hands and we're already being abused by that monster!" Barkk said as she gulped in fear along with the other kwamis at the thought of being captive like they are on-screen.
Scene: On the Trocadero rooftops, Ladybug and Cat Noir stand before the Parisians.
Cat Noir: We will not be forced into silence!
Ladybug: We will not be prisoners to Monarch! (The Parisians continue to cheer for Paris' beloved heroes.)
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion's crypt. The Kwamis continue to huddle in fear before Gabriel.
Gabriel: You are not my prisoners, you are my slaves! And I am your master! Do you understand, you stupid creatures? (The kwamis continue to shudder in terror. Gabriel brings out his phone to call Nathalie, who is still on the train. He says on-call) Nathalie, Ladybug has finally faulted! Taking risks has paid off! I have nearly all of the Miraculous, including the one of Evolution, granting the power of time travel!
"SLAVES?! STUPID?!" The kwamis angrily shouted out in offense to what Mr. Agreste has said to them on-screen.
Nathalie: (on the train) Gabriel, wait for me. As soon as I'm home, we'll—
Gabriel: How many times in the past was I so close to seizing Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous? By returning to the past, I'll be able to anticipate their actions and steal their magic jewels when they're at their weakest! Or rather when they were at their weakest!
"So, what exactly is my father's plan here with the Rabbit Miraculous' power to time travel?" Adrien asked confused as well as everyone else.
"He's going to travel to various points in the past, so he can take Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses by surprise when their defenses are down," Angel explained in which everyone else nodded in understanding while their eyes widened in shock.
"Now that's what I call a sneak attack!" Alix pointed out in which everyone else murmured in agreement.
Nathalie: Gabriel, there might be another solution— (The phone call ends.)
Gabriel: Nooroo, Fluff, dual metamorphosis! (transforms into Monarch)
Scene: On the Trocadero rooftops.
Ladybug: I think I've figured out how Monarch managed to steal the Miraculous. (Behind the two heroes, a Burrow portal appears as a future version of Monarch steps out feebly from it. He then goes through another one.)
Future Rabbit Noir: He's getting tired. This is our chance!
Future Ladybug: (stepping out the portal) The watch! We have to get the Rabbit Miraculous back! (Present Ladybug and Cat Noir look in shock as the future version of themselves went through the Burrow on the same rooftop.)
"What just happened?" Marinette asked, breaking the audience's long silence in jaw-dropping shock to what they just saw on-screen.
"That's your very near future selves trying to stop Monarch while time traveling," Angel explained, though that didn't break her audience's shocked looks.
Cat Noir: What was that? (Another portal opens behind the two.)
Bunnyx: Kitty Noir, Minibug!
Ladybug: Bunnyx! Uh— Was that really us passing through here?
Bunnyx: Yes— No— I mean, yes, that was you but later versions of you, if all goes well.
Cat Noir: Monarch didn't waste any time using his new powers.
Ladybug: And of course, he started with the Rabbit Miraculous, the most powerful one!
Bunnyx: The most dangerous one, too! As you know, changing the past can have serious consequences on the present.
Scene: Interior, the Agreste manor's crypt.
Monarch: Hah! It's time to rewrite history! (entraps the kwamis inside his cane) Burrow! (opens a portal in front of him and enters it)
Scene: The Burrow.
Monarch: (wanders around) Fascinating…! (He walks to a nearby time portal, wherein events from "Lady WiFi" take place. In the time portal, Ladybug is seen pinned on the wall, trapped by Lady WiFi's pause buttons. Lady WiFi swipes her phone and a record icon appears. Monarch pauses the time pocket) Ladybug: immobilized, defenseless! That was a perfect opportunity to seize her Miraculous! If only I could go back— Oh wait, here comes the best part: I can go back!
"First stop in the past: the first time you two fought Lady WiFi," Angel noted to her still-shocked audience.
Scene: Interior, Le Grand Paris, in the kitchen. Monarch enters into the past timeline and menacingly approaches Ladybug and Lady WiFi.
Lady WiFi: If you don't get him outta there fast, your crush will soon be slush. (laughs maniacally. Ladybug becomes shocked as Monarch snatches Lady WiFi's phone away from her.) Hey! What's going— (gets "paused" by Monarch)
"Did he just pause me?! His akumatized minion?!" Alya asked in sassy anger much to everyone else's amusement.
Ladybug: Hawk… Moth?
Monarch: With a few new Miraculous, but yes, it is me. Hello, Ladybug.
Scene: The Burrow. Ladybug, Cat Noir and Bunnyx rush in to find Monarch in one of the time portals.
Ladybug: (from the "Lady WiFi" timeline, as Monarch takes her Miraculous) No! No!
Bunnyx: Over there! Quick! (touches the time portal and pauses time) He's traveled to your first battle against Lady WiFi!
Ladybug: That's not how it happened!
Bunnyx: But that's what will happen if we don't stop him. (She reverts the time portal to the moment Monarch steps into the "Lady WiFi" timeline.)
Lady WiFi: If you don't get him outta there fast, your crush will soon be slush. (laughs maniacally. Ladybug uses her yo-yo to pull Monarch back into the Burrow.)
Monarch: Ladybug? Cat Noir? How could you follow me through time? I'm the one with the Rabbit Miraculous!
Bunnyx: Amateur. Time is like a river with multiple streams, and the Burrow is where they all come together. You with me? (Monarch stares blankly at Bunnyx.) Okay, I'll make it simpler. The Burrow's like a car and we both got the keys. Got it?
Ladybug: And we're gonna take back the Miraculous you stole from us, right here and now!
The Kwamis: (forcibly flying out Monarch's cane) Save us, Ladybug! (Ladybug gasps in shock.)
Monarch: You might still be their Guardian, Ladybug, but I'm their master now! Nooroo, Fluff, Pollen, Trixx, Wayzz, unify! (The kwamis mentioned enter their respective Miraculouses and transforms Monarch. Lightning streaks appear upon his transformation, in which he grunts in pain. Monarch runs away with the yo-yo around him and Ladybug gets pulled along with him. He throws Ladybug off the wall and brings out the flute.) Mirage! (multiple illusions of him appear, running around the heroes. Ladybug, Cat Noir and Bunnyx fight off the many illusions, who disappear when hit.)
Cat Noir: There's too many of them!
Monarch: (sneaks behind Bunnyx) Venom! (Bunnyx gets touched by Monarch's Venom and becomes immobilized.)
Ladybug and Cat Noir: Bunnyx!
"Oooooh! He's gonna pay for that!" Alix said in anger to what Monarch just did to her future self on-screen.
Monarch: Shell-ter! (a shield appears to enclose him and Bunnyx) Perfect!
Ladybug: (while she and Cat Noir run towards Monarch) If he takes her Miraculous, we won't be able to follow him through time!
Cat Noir: Cataclysm! (Just as Monarch is about to steal Bunnyx's Miraculous, Cat Noir touches the Shell-ter with his superpower and destroys it. Ladybug hurls her yo-yo around Monarch to capture him once again and pulls him towards her.)
Monarch: You're not going to win this time! I'm more powerful! Nooroo, Fluff, Pollen, Wayzz, Trixx, Longg, unify! (transforms once again with lightning streaks wrapping him which causes him to fall down on his knees)
"Obviously, that doofus doesn't know that using all those Miraculouses at once will tire and weaken him," Plagg said with a chuckle along with everyone else towards Monarch's stupidity on-screen.
Ladybug: You don't look so powerful now!
Cat Noir: Seems like you're about to lose this time, too!
Monarch: (angrily groans) Wind dragon! (morphs into wind and flies to a nearby time portal)
Ladybug: No! (chases after Monarch but fails to go through the time portal. Cat Noir grabs the Rabbit Miraculous from Bunnyx, causing her to detransform.)
Cat Noir: Catch, m'lady! (throws the Rabbit Miraculous at Ladybug and she catches it) Only the holder of the Rabbit Miraculous can open a time portal.
Ladybug: (contemplates shortly then places the Rabbit Miraculous on his chest, smiling) You do it, kitty.
Cat Noir: You want me to control time?
Ladybug: It's you and me, remember? (The two heroes smile at each other. Cat Noir grabs the Rabbit Miraculous as Fluff appears between them.)
[Transformation Sequence]
Cat Noir: Plagg, Fluff, unify! (transforms into Rabbit Noir. He touches a time portal of the "Riposte" timeline and reverses it.)
Rabbit Noir: Coward! He's trying to catch us by surprise!
Scene: Interior, the Louvre. Monarch arrives in the timeline where the events of "Riposte" take place. He morphs back into his normal self after landing as wind on the floor feebly.
"Next stop in the past: when you two fought Riposte," Angel noted to her audience.
Monarch: (weakly) Why is this happening to me? (sneaks behind Past Cat Noir who is watching Past Ladybug and Riposte's battle. Present Ladybug and Rabbit Noir enter the timeline as well and manage to catch Monarch off guard, by pulling his leg with the help of Rabbit Noir's umbrella.) Burrow! (creates another time portal)
Ladybug: Quick, while the portal is still open! (Ladybug and Rabbit Noir chase after Monarch through the time portal.)
Scene: The Burrow. They stop before entering the time portal where the events of "Mayura" take place.
"Third stop in the past: Heroes' Day," Angel noted to her audience.
Ladybug: How's that possible? You already used your power.
Rabbit Noir: Have I used it or am I going to? It looks like the Miraculous of Time is unaffected by regular time. Makes perfect sense, right?
Ladybug: That's impressive!
Rabbit Noir: (charmingly smiles at Ladybug) Mhm.
Ladybug: (gasps) He's gonna catch them— I mean, catch us in the sewers!
Rabbit Noir: Let's take a shortcut! He's the one who will be in for a surprise!
Scene: In the sewers during the events of the episode "Mayura". Past Ladybug and Cat Noir run to hide and detransform.
Past Ladybug: (while running) I'll go this way. You go that way! (The duo separate to either side of a wall. Monarch enters the timeline and sneaks once again to seize past Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous.)
Past Ladybug: Spots off!
Past Cat Noir: Claws in! (Just in time before Monarch discovers the identities of the heroes' past versions, Present Ladybug and Rabbit Noir push Monarch into another time portal.)
Scene: In the air, beside the Eiffel Tower, during the events of "The Bubbler". The past Ladybug and Cat Noir are seen plunging down, whilst present Ladybug and Rabbit Noir continue their fight with Monarch.
Rabbit Noir: So! Who's chasing who now?
Monarch: What do you think? (kicks Rabbit Noir upwards) Burrow! (creates another time portal)
Ladybug: Hey, quick! (Present Ladybug and Rabbit Noir fly towards the portal right before it closes.)
Scene: During the events of "Animan". Two portals open as Monarch, Present Ladybug, and Rabbit Noir fall through. Alya and Nino are also seen kissing for the first time.
"Did you two just pass through my and Nino's first kiss?!" Alya asked in shock towards what just happened on-screen.
"Apparently," Marinette answered as she shrugged, also in shock towards what just happened on-screen.
Scene: Rooftops of the Jardins du Trocadéro, right after Monarch's announcement, as seen earlier. A Burrow portal appears behind the two heroes as Monarch steps out feebly from it. He then goes through another one.
Rabbit Noir: He's getting tired. This is our chance!
Ladybug: The watch! We have to get the Rabbit Miraculous back! (The earlier Ladybug and Cat Noir look in shock as the present versions of themselves go through the Burrow on the same rooftop.)
"And that's what you two just saw earlier before Bunnyx showed up," Angel noted to the two superheroes much to their and everybody else's shock.
Past Cat Noir: What was that?
"Not just my father. It looks like all this time traveling is very tiring for both of us too," Adrien said to his girlfriend.
"No kidding! I'm getting a small headache just watching us time travel like this!" Marinette said as she pressed her hand against her forehead.
Scene: In the flashback from the beginning of "Backwarder", in 1940s France, where young Fu and young Marianne are being chased after for the Miracle Box, a time portal appears and Monarch walks out onto an empty street weakly.
Monarch: When am I? (Ladybug and Rabbit Noir step out of a time portal right after him.)
"Yeah, when are we?" Adrien asked on behalf of himself and Marinette.
"Next stop in the past: when you Master Fu and Marianne were escaping from the Nazis," Angel noted as she pointed to the old guardian much to his surprise along with everyone else.
Rabbit Noir: So, Mothie-Rabbit-Turtle-Bee, and I'm not sure what else, are you lost?
Ladybug: It's over. Give us back the Miraculous!
Monarch: (grunts feebly) Nooroo, Fluff, Wayzz, Trixx, Pollen…
Rabbit Noir: We'll be here a while, m'lady.
Monarch: (feebly) ...Longg, Barkk, Unify! (Barkk enters the Dog Miraculous. He takes out the ball and makes contact with the Rabbit Miraculous.) Even if you take it back, I'll always find it! (groans and falls on his knees)
Ladybug: Didn't you know using too many Miraculous at once is dangerous? (Monarch completely collapses flat on the pavement, unconscious. Ladybug and Rabbit Noir gasp simultaneously in shock.)
"So, what? Now it's over?" Kim asked curiously as well as everyone else though they have a pretty good idea what the answer is.
"I seriously doubt that," Marinette answered as everybody else nodded in agreement.
Rabbit Noir: Did we just defeat him? (Ladybug and Rabbit Noir walk towards Monarch on the pavement.)
Ladybug: Looks like we did. (Rabbit Noir pokes Monarch with his baton as Ladybug opens Monarch's hand holding the Rabbit Miraculous. The two heroes contemplate whether to grab it or not but Ladybug grabs it anyway, smiling triumphantly, which causes Monarch to lose one of the Miraculous' powers. Shortly after, red lights are directly pointed at the two.)
Nazi: Over there! The box! We must get the box! (The red lights also point the younger versions of Fu and Marianne across the river.)
Ladybug: (gasps) Master Fu?
Monarch: (weakly wakes up) Trixx, Pollen, Longg… divide! (releases the powers of Illusion, Subjection, and Perfection; he then uses the ball to fetch the Rabbit Miraculous from Ladybug) Fetch! (Ladybug gasps as soon as the ball comes in contact with the Rabbit Miraculous, allowing it to reappear in Monarch's hand.) Shell-ter! (the superpower stated encloses him)
Ladybug: Destroy his shield!
Rabbit Noir: I've used my Cataclysm already!
Monarch: Nooroo, Barkk, Wayzz, Fluff, unify! (the kwamis mentioned enter their respective Miraculous) Burrow! (creates a time portal beneath him, which he falls into) You'll never get that Miraculous!
Ladybug: No! (she and Rabbit Noir attempt to enter the time portal but fail as the portal closes) Now that he's touched the Rabbit Miraculous with the ball of the Dog, he's created a magical link between them! (in tears) Even if we get it from him, he'll be able to take it back!
Rabbit Noir: But he'll detransform at some point, and the link will be broken!
Ladybug: Yes, but where? When? We can't keep an eye on every spacetime at once! There's only one solution. Lucky Charm! (A mini Miraculous box falls into her hands.)
Rabbit Noir: (surprised) A mini Miracle Box?
Ladybug: I've got the same one to defeat Monarch when he was still Hawk Moth back on Heroes' Day, but... I don't know how we can use it here and now.
Rabbit Noir: (puts a hand on Ladybug's shoulder) You'll figure it out, you always do. Take your time.
Ladybug: (feeling reassured, she uses her Lucky Vision and sees Young Fu's phonograph) Of course, Bunny Cat, that's the ticket, it's not happening here or now.
Scene: Monarch falls out of a portal to the events of "Reverser", on a taxi in which Past Ladybug and Cat Noir are traveling in. The driver sees Monarch in the rear-view mirror and pushes the brakes, causing Monarch to fall onto the road. He saves himself from an incoming car and sees Past Ladybug and Past Cat Noir coming out of the taxi, in front of Collège Françoise Dupont.
"Next stop in the past: when you two fought Reverser," Angel noted to her audience who were becoming exhausted at this point.
"We're right there with you on the headache, girl," Alya said as she and the rest of the audience groaned as they touched their foreheads.
Past Cat Noir: (timidly steps out of the taxi with a blanket wrapped around him) You drive like a maniac! Uh!
Past Ladybug: (talking to the taxi driver) Sorry about that! He is not quite himself right now. (closes the taxi door, with her yo-yo string stuck in it; she tries to walk away, but gets pulled back to the door)
Monarch: I remember that day. Defeating them will be child's play! (more lightning streaks appear around him and he falls, walking into an alleyway and releases kwamis from his cane) Kwamis! What's happening? (when the timid kwamis do not respond, he grows impatient) I order you to answer me!
Sass: (weakly) Kwamis need to be fed. Without food, we become weak, and so do your powers.
"Duh! I mean, hello! We're living beings! We have to be fed!" Stompp said in exasperated disbelief towards Monarch on-screen with everyone else murmuring in agreement.
Monarch: I know, but I have nothing for you. I AM YOUR MASTER!
"Like it makes a difference on our energy levels!" Barkk sarcastically noted with everyone else groaning in exasperation towards Monarch on-screen.
Sass: If you destroy us, you'll destroy yourself too.
Monarch: (frustratingly) Burrow! (walks into the portal)
Scene: In the timeline where Past Nathalie is aboard the train talking to Gabriel on the phone.
Monarch: Reverse morphosis! (transforms back into Gabriel)
Past Gabriel: (on the phone) ...weakest! Or rather when they were at their weakest!
Past Nathalie: Gabriel, there might be another solution- (Present Gabriel taps on her shoulder, startling her)
Past Nathalie: Gabriel?
Present Gabriel: Find food... for these useless creatures...!
"And here he goes again: insulting us!" Orikko said in anger on behalf of himself and the other kwamis.
"Typical villain: always blaming everyone else for their mistakes but themselves!" Angel pointed out in which the audience loudly murmured in agreement.
Scene: In the 1940s timeline, where Young Fu and Young Marianne are running from Nazis.
Nazis: Come on, we must get that box! (Young Marianne and Young Fu run in the opposite directions. While running, Ladybug pulls Young Fu to a safe spot.)
Ladybug: Master Fu! We need a Miraculous.
Young Fu: (suspiciously) How do you know my name? Who gave you your jewels?
Rabbit Noir: You did.
Ladybug: We meet and become friends in the future. You live in fear because of the mistakes you've made in the past but one day you'll find peace. (Young Fu looks at both of them and becomes satisfied)
Young Fu: I believe you. (Young Fu puts the phonograph on the ground and opens the lock, revealing the Miracle Box. He says while picking up the Miracle Box) What are your names?
Ladybug: Ladybug.
Rabbit Noir: Rabbit Noir.
Young Fu: (puts the Miracle Box on the ground and opens it) Ladybug, Rabbit Noir, pick an ally you can trust to fight alongside you in this mission. Choose wisely. Such powers are meant to serve the greater good.
Young Fu and Ladybug: They must never fall into the wrong hands. (Young Fu is briefly shocked with Ladybug knowing what he would say, but smiles. Ladybug picks up the Dog Miraculous.)
Young Fu: As not to disturb the river of time, you must return it to me once the mission is over.
Ladybug: You can trust us, Master.
Rabbit Noir: You will get it back in less than a second. (Rabbit Noir opens a Burrow portal and both of them walk into it. Young Fu smiles and closes his eyes and waits.)
"Why did I say less than a second?" Adrien asked confused as well as everyone else.
"You'll see," Angel said with a chuckle as everyone else turned their attention back to the screen.
Scene: Interior, the Louvre. Back in the present timeline, Alix and her father are walking up the stairs.
Alix: So what was the important thing you needed to show me, Dad?
Alim: (moves his sleeve to view his watch that is pointing five minutes before eight o'clock) It isn't now or here. (The two walk past a hall full of portraits.) Are you still planning on studying engineering after graduation?
Alix: Totally, Dad! Science rocks my boat!
Alim: What matters the most is doing what you love, Alix. (The two stop in front of a large painting.)
"I don't remember having this convo with my dad," Alix said with a smile towards herself and her father on-screen in spite of her confusion.
"That's because this is not the past. This is back to the present," Angel explained to the teen girl.
Alix and Alim: And loving what you do.
Alix: Just like you're doing!
Alim: Yes. Every day, I'm happy to come and work here. Among these historical treasures, I'd give anything to actually explore the past centuries firsthand and not just study their remnants.
Alix: Maybe I'll be the scientist who invents the time machine, and I'll take you to see these moments in person!
Alim: (becomes shocked for a short moment and chuckles; he kneels down in front of Alix) I'd love that.
Alix: (confused) Why are you looking at me like that?
Alim: To remember you, and this moment here… (his watch strikes eight o'clock) …and now. (Ladybug and Rabbit Noir step out from a time portal and walk towards Alix and Alim.)
Alix: (gasps in surprise) Ladybug? So this is it, Ladybug? You finally realized how cool I am?
"So, this is finally the day I become Bunnyx?!" Alix asked excitedly as well as everyone else in the audience.
"Yes it is. Once you get your Miraculous back from Monarch that is. And Ladybug is gonna have you use the Dog Miraculous first for that," Angel answered much to everyone else's confusion.
Ladybug: Good evening, Mr. Kubdel. I've got a big favor to ask your daughter. I hope you'll understand. (Alim nods in agreement. Ladybug hands over the Dog Miraculous to Alix) Alix Kubdel, here is the Miraculous of the Dog, which will grant you the power to recover whatever your ball touches.
Alix: The Dog Miraculous? Wasn't my thing time travel?
Ladybug: Monarch has stolen the Miraculous of the Rabbit. We need your help to get it back.
Alix: But… Cat Noir's a rabbit?
Rabbit Noir: (nervously) Uhm, it's complicated. (Barkk appears beside Alix as Alix wears the dog collar on her neck.)
Barkk: Hi!
Ladybug: Once we have retrieved the Miraculous of Time, you won't return it to me. You'll have to continue wearing it in order to protect it, until Monarch is defeated.
Alix: Keep it? That means…
Ladybug: (crestfallen) You won't be able to return to this time right away.
Alix: (to Alim) You knew it!
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Back up a sec! My dad knows I'm Bunnyx?!" Alix asked in total shock along with everyone else in the audience while Angel just responded by pointing to the screen.
Ladybug: But… how?
Alim: Because you told me, Alix. (brings out pictures from his coat) You wrote to me from all the eras you visited so I wouldn't worry about you. (He gives Alix pictures of her as future Bunnyx with the Egyptian Sphinx, a futuristic Paris, and with a T-rex. He then reads a letter from Bunnyx in the future.) "You were so right, Dad. It's cool doing what we love..."
Alix: "...And loving what we do." (Alix and Alim share a heartfelt embrace.) Ladybug and Cat Noir are the best. I'll be back soon, Dad.
"As you can see, Alix, apparently your future self has been sending your father letters and pictures," Angel pointed out though that didn't break her audience's shocked faces.
Barkk: All you need to do is say "Barkk, on the hunt"!
[Transformation Sequence]
Alix: Barkk, on the hunt! (transforms into Canigirl)
Canigirl: Canigirl, ready! (Rabbit Noir opens a time portal and the three of them run towards it. Canigirl stops for a while and looks back at her father.)
Alim: (waves goodbye to Canigirl) See you soon, honey. (Canigirl smiles back and proceeds to enter the time portal. The portal closes in front of Alim as soon as Canigirl enters it.)
"So, once I get my Miraculous back, I can't go back to the present?" Alix asked with a hint of sadness at the thought of leaving her family and friends behind for a while.
"Yeah. Not until Monarch's been defeated. So that he won't have a chance to steal the Miraculous back," Angel explained in which everyone else (including Alix) nodded in agreement that it is the best solution.
Scene: The Burrow. Canigirl looks on sadly as she sees her future self immobilized by Monarch's Venom.
Ladybug: Don't worry, my superpower will repair everything. (Ladybug and Canigirl join Rabbit Noir in front of one of the time portals that is in the 1940s timeline, where Monarch completely collapses, becoming weaker because of using all the Miraculous at once.) So first, with your ball, you've gotta touch the Rabbit Miraculous that Monarch stole.
Canigirl: I'm guessing he can't notice anything? (Ladybug eagerly nods. Back in the 1940s timeline, where Ladybug grabbed the Rabbit Miraculous from Monarch, a time portal subtly opens behind them as Canigirl's hand appears and touches the Rabbit Miraculous with her ball.) Mission accomplished!
Rabbit Noir: Then let's head to the perfect place, or should I say the perfect time, to beat Monarch at his own game!
Ladybug: And to make sure he falls for it, we're gonna leave him a little gift. (places the mini Miracle Box on the floor at a distance) Here!
Scene: During the events of "Mayura", the past version of Scarlet Moth hides behind a wall, witnessing the supposed defeat of past versions of Ladybug and the other heroes. A time portal appears not far from him as Ladybug, Rabbit Noir and Canigirl step out from it unnoticed. The three heroes sneak behind a wall as well. Canigirl runs to the other side to execute their plan.
Scene: Back in the present timeline, on the train, Nathalie feeds the kwamis with pieces of a sandwich one by one.
Gabriel: I can defeat Ladybug! I know it! There's got to be the perfect moment.
Nathalie: There is another way to use the Miraculous of the Rabbit. (Gabriel gasps.) You can go back to a time before Emilie used the damaged Peacock Miraculous. You can save your wife, Gabriel! (presents a flash drive) This holds the information on how to repair the magic jewels so that Emilie never becomes ill using it. You would just need to give the drive to yourself. (hands Gabriel the drive) Make the right choice. It's not too late!
Gabriel: (smiles) How did I not think of that? Thank you, Nathalie! Nooroo, Fluff, Barkk, triple morphosis! (He transforms into Monarch and extends his cane to gather all the kwamis inside. He uses the ball and touches the Rabbit Miraculous with it and puts the Miraculous in his pocket.)
Scene: The Burrow. Monarch once again enters and walks towards a time pocket. In that particular time pocket, he rewinds time from Chloé Bourgeois's party in "Despair Bear", to the Parisians' Christmas dinner in "Santa Claws", Adrien modeling in "Style Queen", all the way until he sees the old timeline where Emilie is still alive. In an old timeline, outside the Agreste mansion, young Gabriel and Emilie are having a picnic together. A heartfelt Monarch watches as past Gabriel kneels down in front of Emilie and presents her the damaged Peacock Miraculous. Young Emilie giggles
Young Gabriel: For you. Are you sure you're ready?
Young Emilie: Yes. (Young Gabriel places the Peacock Miraculous on her hand. The two stand up as Young Gabriel scoops up Young Emilie and carries her in a bridal fashion. The two proceeded to walk inside the mansion.)
"Mom. Dad," Adrien said softly with tears in his eyes while shocked at seeing the younger versions of his parents on-screen with Marinette cuddling him in comfort.
"You know what's disturbing? I find young Mr. Agreste very attractive," Alya admitted honestly with a cringe look on her face. Upon hearing that, everyone else groaned in disgust although some of the girls looked at young Mr. Agreste in agreement to what Alya said.
Monarch: Emilie… (He proceeds to open a time portal in the said timeline. As he is about to place the flash drive on the picnic mat, he notices the mini Miracle Box placed by Ladybug earlier. He says furiously) Ladybug, you're trying to trick me again? (He places his hand with the drive inside the portal once again as he contemplates hard whether he should save his wife, or let his greed consume him by searching for Ladybug.) I've seen this box before… (stomps to another time pocket, rewinding time) No, no, that's not it! ... Yes! I remember! (The time pocket shows the victims akumatized by Scarlet Moth on Heroes' Day.) I know when it was!
Past Ladybug: (from the time pocket, presenting her version of the mini box) It's a sign, Hawk Moth! (As Monarch is browsing through the time pocket, he notices the present versions of Ladybug and Rabbit Noir seemingly ready to ambush his past Scarlet Moth self.)
Monarch: I won't let you destroy my future, Ladybug! (contemplates once more and closes his fist angrily with the drive in it, and smiles to the timeline with Emilie) I'll be right back, my love. I promise. (proceeds to enter the Heroes' Day time pocket)
"No, he won't. He just blew his chance to change the past and save his wife from her fate," Angel noted to her audience as they groaned and facepalmed in exasperation towards Monarch's stupidity.
Scene: On the Eiffel Tower, during the events of the episode "Mayura", Monarch jumps out of the time portal and creeps behind Ladybug and Rabbit Noir to ambush them.
Ladybug: Canigirl, now!
Monarch: Wha- ? (Canigirl ambushes behind a confused Monarch.)
Canigirl: Fetch! (uses the ball to take back the Rabbit Miraculous from Monarch, which makes him lose one of the powers of the Miraculous)
[Transformation Sequence]
Canigirl: Barkk, Fluff, unify! (transforms into Bunny Dog)
Monarch: Fetch! (his ball flies towards Bunny Dog)
Bunny Dog: Burrow! (She opens a portal beneath her and jumps right into it the second before Monarch's ball touches the Rabbit Miraculous. Once again, Monarch's plan fails, as his ball rolls back to his feet.)
"YAY, ALIX!" Everyone in the audience cheered at the blushing teen girl for the victory on-screen.
Monarch: No! (falls onto his knees) This can't be!
Ladybug: Oh, but it can! You've lost!
Rabbit Noir: (opens a time portal behind them) As usual! (The two heroes enter the portal, leaving a defeated Monarch behind.)
Scene: The Burrow. Ladybug grabs the mini Miracle Box on the floor.
Ladybug: Miraculous Ladybug! (throws the box up in the air, and the magic ladybugs cure Future Alix's immobilization)
Future Alix: I knew you'd fix everything! (Rabbit Noir returns the Rabbit Miraculous to Future Alix and detransforms back into Cat Noir.)
Cat Noir: (says "Thanks! The power of time is way cool." backwards then realizes) Did I just speak backwards?
"That was weird," Adrien noted about himself speaking backwards on-screen with everyone else chuckling in amusement.
Future Alix: Yup, that's what happens when you mess with the time continuum. (Fluff appears out from the Rabbit Miraculous as soon as Future Alix wears it on her waist.) Glad to see you again, big ears! Fluff, clockwise! (transforms into Bunnyx. Bunny Dog removes the collar from her neck and the watch from her pocket, allowing her to detransform back into Alix.)
Future Bunnyx: Mini-me! I knew you'd rock it! (ruffles her younger self's hat playfully. Alix hesitantly and sadly gives back the present Rabbit Miraculous to Ladybug.)
Ladybug: (brings back the Rabbit Miraculous to Alix) The time has come. (An ecstatic Alix wears the Rabbit Miraculous on her waist, and the present version of Fluff appears beside her.)
Alix: Ready for a long journey, big ears?
Fluff: (panics) Uh… I'm having a serious case of déjà vù, right?
[Transformation Sequence]
Alix: Fluff, clockwise! (transforms into Bunnyx)
Bunnyx: (to her future self) See? Now I'm just as cool as you are!
Ladybug, Cat Noir, Bunnyx and Future Bunnyx: (fist bump) Pound it!
"Pound it!" Marinette, Adrien, and Alix did a three-way fist-bump before the superhero couple kissed in victory.
Ladybug: I have one last favor to ask you, girls.
Scene: In the 1940s timeline, where Young Fu has just given the Dog Miraculous to Ladybug and Rabbit Noir.
Past Rabbit Noir: You'll get it back in less than a second! (He opens a time portal and he and Ladybug enter it. Shortly after, another time portal appears behind Young Fu and Bunnyx appears out of it, returning the 1940s version of the Dog Miraculous.)
Bunnyx: As promised, back in less than a second! (Young Fu grabs the Dog Miraculous. Bunnyx takes a selfie with him right after and returns back into the time portal, leaving a confused Young Fu.)
"Wow! Exactly like you promised!" Master Fu said in shock along with everyone else to what happened with the heroes and his past self on-screen.
Scene: Back on the Eiffel Tower, during the events of the episode "Mayura", a despaired Monarch still remains to be stuck in the timeline then realizes yet another sinister plan, chuckling evilly.
Monarch: You were wrong to leave me here, Ladybug, for the future belongs to those who live in the past! I don't need the Rabbit Miraculous. I'm going to relive everything we've been through, and thanks to my Miraculous, I will defeat you! (Future Bunnyx hops in from a time portal behind him.)
Future Bunnyx: Sorry, Mothie. Not this time either! (opens a time portal beneath Monarch)
Monarch: (falls into the portal) No!
Scene: On the Trocadero rooftops, when Future Bunnyx has just started to brief Ladybug and Cat Noir about the consequences of the Rabbit Miraculous falling into the wrong hands.
Future Bunnyx: The most dangerous one, too! As you know, changing the past can have serious consequences on the present. (opens a time portal) Follow me! (The three heroes rush into the portal, and upon entering the portal, another one appears not too far from the previous one. The present Ladybug and Cat Noir both fall from it, along with the present Monarch from a separate time portal. The two heroes then confront him.)
Cat Noir: Right on time for yet another defeat, Monarch! (Ladybug wraps her yo-yo around Monarch to keep him from going anywhere.)
Monarch: You will never take a Miraculous from me ever again! Time is running out for both of you now! Nooroo, Barkk, Longg, unify! (upgrades his powers) Wind dragon! (morphs into wind and flies away)
Ladybug: (chases after Monarch) No! Not again! (groans in frustration after failing to do so)
Cat Noir: We were able to get one of the Miraculous back from him.
Ladybug: And at what price?
Cat Noir: We'll get them all back, m'lady, and once we've defeated Monarch for good, Alix will be able to return. (Ladybug smiles and nods.)
"So, small victory: you managed to get the Rabbit Miraculous back and save Fluff. And as long as Alix has it in the time burrow, Monarch can never steal it back again," Angel recapped for her audience who softly smiled in agreement.
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion's crypt. Gabriel miserably returns in front of Emilie's pod right after yet another defeat.
Gabriel: (crestfallen) I could've changed everything. (on the verge of crying) Emilie, my love, can you ever forgive me…? (The kwamis watch Gabriel in despair. His phone rings a second later and Gabriel answers it.)
Nathalie: (on-call) Gabriel, did it work?
Gabriel: No, Ladybug tricked me! She stole the Time Miraculous from me! (Nathalie coughs from her sickness.) You have to help me! Come up with a new plan! Ladybug can't get away with this!
Nathalie: (on-call) You had the Time Miraculous. You could've chosen to save Emilie! You could've chosen to save me! (coughs) But instead, you chose your obsession with Ladybug and Cat Noir. You're insane, Gabriel!
Gabriel: (stuttering and panicking) I-It's not my fault! It was Ladybug!
Nathalie: (on-call, coughs) You don't deserve my help. You don't deserve anyone's help!
(As the call ends, Gabriel stands in complete silence. Back on the train, Lila looks at the back of the train from her seat, seeing Nathalie coughing. She then approaches her.)
Lila: Nathalie? Is everything okay?
Nathalie: Yes. Help me get back to my seat, Lila. (coughs. In the crypt, Gabriel drops his phone in betrayal, to the kwamis' terror. He becomes enraged, infuriated, anything to describe his unfathomable rage against the superheroes as he does not have anyone to support him anymore. His hands clench in rage, hands over his head as he screams…)
Gabriel: LAAAADDYYYBUUUUUUUUUG!
"So, Nathalie is no longer working with my father anymore?" Adrien asked in confusion along with everyone else to what just happened on-screen.
"She's still somewhat working with your father, but at this moment, she's starting to reconsider it. She was willing to help him as long as he wakes your mother up, but now she's starting to see that your father is now more obsessed with defeating you two than his original mission," Angel explained in which everyone else nodded in understanding while also hoping that Nathalie will change sides eventually. "Anyway, the next episode is called Multiplication which of course refers to the Mouse Miraculous. This is when he finally gives Miraculous powers to his supervillains as he akumatizes them."
"But he doesn't give them the Miraculouses themselves as he's doing it?" Marinette asked in which Angel nodded in confirmation.
"Yes and you'll see how very soon. The akuma in this episode is your mother re-akumatized back into Ikari Gozen, Kagami," Angel said much to Kagami's shock. "Anyway, let's get started!"
