Scene: Marinette's bedroom. Marinette and Alya are sitting on the bed in their pajamas.
Alya: What do you mean you're in love with Cat Noir?
Marinette: I don't see what's so weird about it.
Alya: It's weird, because you were in love with Adrien just, like, yesterday. (points at the corkboard with photos on the wall next to them)
Marinette: (covers the corkboard with her body) Adrien? Yeah, but being in love with Adrien was not a good idea. (Alya stares at her, unamused. Marinette pulls down an imaginary light pink, polka-dotted projector screen. She points at a drawing of her and Adrien's heads with hearts instead of eyes, with Shadow Moth's head surrounded by the kwamis below them, presented as an equation) Because of my feelings for him, Shadow Moth stole fifteen Miraculous from me. (points at drawings of Cat Noir in different poses, surrounded by roses and sparkles) That's why loving Cat Noir is a good idea. Cat Noir is cute, very handsome, super confident, doesn't even put pressure on me anymore, and, turns out, he's really cool. And on top of that, he's in love with me, so it's perfect!
Alya: Uh, he's in love with Ladybug.
Marinette: And we both know that means the same thing.
Alya: But he doesn't. (the drawing cracks) And you can't tell him. (the drawing shatters completely) Marinette, you find yourself a new, unavailable crush just when Adrien seems really interested in you. Don't tell me that's a coincidence. Aren't you running away from your real feelings? Just a little?
"Yeah, that's a very popular opinion: that you're now falling for Cat Noir to psychologically run away from your feelings for Adrien," Angel pointed out and after some deep thought, everyone else murmured in agreement about the validity of that opinion.
Marinette: Not at all! I have no idea what I'd be running away from. I've got nothing to run away from. And it's already time to go to school anyway. (she screams as she falls down from the bed)
Alya: At 7 AM in the morning?
Marinette: Exactly! 7 AM is the right time if you don't wanna be late. (she puts on her school bag and opens the room's trap door) See? New love, new habits, this goes to show I'm right to love Cat Noir. (the door closes)
Alya: (to Tikki) She left in her pajamas.
"Even with these new things happening, it's nice to see some things never change," Alya teasingly said about her best friend in which everyone else chuckled in agreement except for the blue-haired girl herself who frowned in embarrassment.
Scene: Adrien's room. Adrien is lying in his bed. Adrien repeats Marinette's name to himself three times while waking up, brushing his teeth, and standing in the door of the bathroom. A drawing of her face with a heart next to it is also visible in the steam on the bathroom mirror.
"Meanwhile, on Adrien's side of things…," Angel teasingly pointed out the scene on-screen with everyone else laughing hard in amusement while Adrien blushed in embarrassment.
Plagg: (flies up to Adrien) Marinette, Marinette, it's all you can think about! What about Ladybug? It shouldn't be tossed away like an old cheese rind left on the edge of a platter!
Adrien: No, Plagg, she's still wonderful, but she's not in love with me. So it's high time I leave her be and let her choose the cheese she wants on her platter.
Plagg: And what if Marinette isn't in love with you?
Adrien: The only way to find out is to ask her. Hide, Plagg. (walks out of the room. The alarm clock in Adrien's room starts ringing, showing that it's 7:00 AM.)
Scene: The kitchen in the Agreste mansion. Adrien walks in whistling. Gabriel is preparing pancakes for breakfast.
"My father's still cooking?!" Adrien asked in shock as well as everyone else in the audience much to Angel's amusement. "I don't think I could ever get used to that."
"DITTO!" All the teens in the audience shouted out in agreement.
Gabriel: How nice to see you so cheerful in the morning, Adrien. Bananas on your pancakes?
Adrien: Yes, Father, uh― thank you... Dad. (The alarm clock continues to ring. Nathalie walks into Adrien's room.)
Nathalie: Adrien, you're going to be late. (turns off the alarm clock and gasps) Adrien! (Nathalie runs downstairs and into the kitchen, where she sees Gabriel still cooking and Adrien staring unhappily at the banana on his fork.) Gabriel, if you spent more time with your son, you would've known he prefers his pancakes plain.
Gabriel: Adrien, if you didn't want bananas, you could've told me.
Adrien: No, no, I... I like them. I was just lost in thought. You see, there's this girl―
Nathalie: Adrien, don't force yourself to eat them to please your father.
Adrien: It's not that, it's just―
Gabriel: Nathalie, leave Adrien to his pancakes and let me know how you want yours instead.
Nathalie: Mine?
"Even your old man's assistant is weirded out by this, dude!" Nino pointed out to his best friend about the latter's father's new behavior on-screen.
Gabriel: Your pancakes. Why don't you come and sit down, so that we can all have breakfast together. Right, Adrien?
Adrien: (looks at Nathalie's left hand and notices the ring that Gabriel gave her back in "Risk") Yeah... like family.
Nathalie: For Adrien, I will eat even your pancakes, sir. (sits down at the table)
Gabriel: Since we're family, you can call me "Gabriel".
Nathalie: (angrily) How about "Gabe" while we're at it? (An awkward silence ensues. Nathalie and Gabriel's Alliance rings start playing a notification sound.)
"AWKWARD!" The teens in the audience exclaimed towards the awkward silence on-screen between Mr. Agreste and Nathalie.
Nathalie and Gabriel: Adrien, it's time to― (the two glare at each other irritatedly)
Gabriel: To go to school.
Nathalie: Right. To go to school.
Adrien: (looks at the two, laughs, then remembers) My school bag! I forgot to pack my school bag! (Adrien runs to the door, but stops and looks behind at Gabriel and Nathalie. They stand together, and Gabriel puts his hand on Nathalie's shoulder. Adrien blushes while he smiles at them, and runs off.)
Nathalie: (grabs Gabriel's hand, twists it behind his back and pushes him onto the table) Don't ever do that again! I came to this house to hunt magical artifacts for you and Emilie. I became your bodyguard, your right-hand woman, your friend, and even more. But this is all over. You used to do this out of love for Emilie, but now, you're only doing it out of madness, and the only reason I'm still here is to protect Adrien from you!
Gabriel: But everything I do is for Adrien's happiness.
"You want me to be happy, Father?! ASK ME HOW!" Adrien said in anger towards his father on-screen with everyone else murmuring in agreement.
Nathalie: The only thing Adrien needs in order to be happy is his father. (releases Gabriel) You'll never bring Emilie back and it's time to accept that. She accepted it herself!
Gabriel: No!
Nathalie: Stop kidding yourself. You saw the recordings she left just as I did.
"What recordings?" Adrien asked curiously with a sad look as well as everyone else.
"Before she succumbed to her illness, your mother left video recordings about what she wanted if something were to happen to her," Angel explained as Adrien frowned in deep thought about that. "You'll get to see them soon."
Gabriel: Emilie always deserved more than what she wanted. That's why I made you destroy the recordings, I... I couldn't bear them. It's too late anyway. (pulls down his left sleeve, revealing the damage on his hand caused by Cataclysm) I can't give up now.
Nathalie: No!
Gabriel: If you don't help me make the wish come true, I won't be able to save myself. I won't be able to save you, either. (Nathalie stares at him in horror) If we don't do something, Adrien will be left... all alone.
"Talk about a serious predicament," Angel pointed out in which her audience loudly murmured in agreement, concerned for what's going to happen next.
Scene: Adrien's room. He packs his bag for school.
Adrien: Did you see the ring Nathalie is wearing? I'm glad she and my dad are getting along so well. (gasps) A ring! How about I give a ring to Marinette?
"Sure. If you wanna marry her right now!" Plagg pointed out in exasperation as he pointed to Marinette in which everyone else reluctantly murmured in agreement.
Plagg: Oh, don't tell me you're gonna propose to her.
Adrien: That would be overreacting, don't you think? Maybe I just need to tell her how I feel at lunch. Or, I write her a poem! How about that?
Plagg: A poem for Marinette? My dear Adrien, poems are for declaring one's love for cheese. (eats a piece of cheese) And until proven otherwise, Marinette is not cheese.
"Poems are for cheese?! Cheese can't hear nor react to poems!" Tikki said to her fellow kwami in exasperation as everyone else chuckled in amusement.
Adrien: Thanks for your help, but I think I need some real advice.
Scene: Nathalie's room. The lights are off. Nathalie is sitting on her bed.
Nathalie: No... this can't be happening. (walks up to a framed photo of her, Gabriel, and Emilie in a forest, wearing safari outfits and surrounded by crates) Emilie. (Nathalie opens the portrait, revealing a safe behind it, with a phone inside. She takes out the phone, unlocks it, and browses through videos saved on it. She plays one of the recordings)
Emilie: (from the video) I'm counting on you, Nathalie. I know he's as stubborn as they come and it won't be easy to convince him to stop chasing the Miraculous. (coughs) But you have to, for Adrien. He's going to need you both and I know you'll take care of him like a mother.
"Why won't my father listen to her?!" Adrien asked loudly as tears started to flow out of his eyes as soon as he saw a video recording of his mother on-screen with Marinette (also in tears) hugging him, trying to comfort him. Most of the audience also began to tear up in reaction to the recording, feeling sad for the blond boy.
Nathalie: (crying) I'm sorry, I failed you. But I promise you, I will get the Miraculous before he does. I won't let him recreate the world in the image of his madness! (Nathalie hears knocking on the door to her room. She wipes her tears, hides the phone and claps to turn on the lights.) Come in.
Adrien: Nathalie! I was wonderi— Is everything okay?
Nathalie: Yeah, yes, everything's fine. What's going on, Adrien?
Adrien: (sits next to Nathalie) There's this girl I like at school. Should I tell her in person or write her a poem like they do in books? I'm not sure what to do, actually. What about you? The first time you fell in love, how did you handle it?
Nathalie: Me? Uh... well, I spent most of my youth fighting snakes for antiques. Falling in love was... complicated. (A flashback shows Nathalie with Gabriel holding torches inside of a cave, surrounded by snakes. Another depicts her walking into a tent and looking surprised at the sight of Gabriel analyzing a map with Emilie. She then starts coughing.)
"Apparently, your parents and Nathalie were a trio of treasure hunters/explorers, Adrien," Angel pointed out to the blond boy who widened his eyes in shock along with everyone else to the new information about his parents' past that he never knew before.
Adrien: Nathalie, is what happened to my mother... going to happen to you?
Nathalie: No. No, not at all, it will be okay. Don't worry about me, Adrien. You better go, or you'll be late for school. (leads him to the door) I'm perfectly alright, don't worry. (closes the door. Nathalie sighs, then walks up to a glass cabinet with a mannequin dressed in explorer's clothes inside.)
Scene: The Crypt. Gabriel stands before Emilie's cryogenic pod.
Gabriel: (sighs) Emilie, I don't know what to do anymore. I don't know how to go on alone.
Nathalie: You're not alone. (walks up to him)
Gabriel: Nathalie.
Nathalie: A long time ago, I promised I'd bring you all the magical items you would need, but I was never able to bring you Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. It's time I truly delivered on my promise.
Gabriel: No, Nathalie, you've already risked too much!
Nathalie: It's time to risk it all. Akumatize me.
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont, exterior. Adrien arrives and steps out of his car. He sighs, then walks forward and bumps into Marinette.
Adrien: Marinette?
Marinette: Adri-mine! I mean, Adri-fine! No! I mean, you're not mine and you're not fine, I mean, you are fine. (gasps) Adrien, is something wrong?
Adrien: No, no, everything's fine... no, everything's not fine. Not fine at all. Somebody I care about is sick and... there's nothing I can do. I feel completely hopeless.
Marinette: You know, even when there's nothing you can physically do for the people you love, sometimes, just being there for them is enough.
"This is soooo sweet!" Rose gushed at the sweet moment between Adrien and Marinette on-screen with everyone else nodding in agreement while the two heroes gave each other blushing smiles.
Adrien: You're right! It's just like with you, Marinette. Just you being here makes me feel better already. You... you always find the right words. You're really special, Marinette. I—
Marinette: Me? Oh, no. No, no. I'm not special at all. All I do is talk nonsense and do silly things. Look, I'm being super silly right now! (bumps into someone) Oh, I'm sorry, ma'am. (laughs awkwardly and runs off)
Plagg: Wow, that was some confession of love that didn't go quite as planned. Since there's no hope left, how about you move on?
Adrien: Even at a time like this, she still manages to make me smile. She's really... extraordinary. (Plagg groans.)
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont, art room. Tikki is drawing on a piece of paper. Plagg flies in.
"Please tell me this is the first time you two are having a secret meeting in the school where other humans can see you," Marinette asked both Tikki and Plagg with a pleading tone as both she and Adrien frowned at their two kwamis.
"Well…we actually secretly meet when you two are in class," Tikki reluctantly confessed with a nervous chuckle, but that didn't break her holder's frown as well as Adrien's.
"We know it's way risky, but it's better than hearing a bunch of boring history lectures that not only we've known but we actually lived through. No offense, Miss Bustier," Plagg added further to the confession.
"None taken," Miss Bustier said to the kwami with a slight frown.
Plagg: Sugarcube, the situation is stinkier than the old, rotten Brie I keep hidden away for emergencies! My holder has fallen in love with yours!
Tikki: Well, that's wonderful! She's head-over-heels in love with him too.
Plagg: No, it's not wonderful, it's cataclysmic! What happens when they tell each other how they feel and the feeling is mutual, huh? It'll take them two seconds to tell each other everything. I love you, you love me, kissy-kissy, I'm Ladybug, you're Cat Noir, BOOM! The end of the world!
"Uh, when did this personality switch happen between us here?" Plagg asked as he pointed at himself and Tikki. "I'm usually the cool relaxed one while sugarcube here is the worrywart." Angel just shrugged in response as Tikki gave a death glare towards Plagg in response to the comment he made about her much to everyone else's amusement.
Tikki: Don't worry, Plagg, that's not going to happen. My holder has decided to run away from her real feelings to pursue an impossible love with Cat Noir instead.
Plagg: Uh, just to be sure, sugarcube, you do know that Cat Noir and my holder are one and the same person, right?
Tikki: I do, but my holder doesn't.
Plagg: If she declares her love to Cat Noir, something tells me she'll find out soon enough.
Tikki: You have nothing to fear. When my holder is in love, she never gets anywhere. She'll just knit hats and make very complicated plans that will never come to fruition.
"Uh-oh!" Everyone in the audience (except for Marinette and Tikki) said under their breaths to what the kwami said about her holder on-screen.
"Thanks, Tikki. There goes my last shred of self-esteem," Marinette sarcastically said to her kwami with a slight frown while Tikki chuckled nervously.
Plagg: Hmm... ah, then everything's fine.
Scene: Nathalie's room. Nathalie stands in front of the case with the mannequin. She puts her hand on the glass.
Nathalie: (through light mask) Monarch, I am Safari. How many times have we failed focusing on the Miraculous when our real obstacles were their holders? They're the ones I'm going to hunt down and put out of commission. I want you to give me the power to never miss my prey.
Monarch: (from his lair) With pleasure, Safari. (creates a megakuma) Kaalki, your power is now mine. (absorbs Kaalki from her cage into one of his rings) Voyage, my megakuma.
(The megakuma teleports to Nathalie's room. It infects the mannequin, which is instantly covered in a black and purple ether. Nathalie touches it with her hand and is covered by the ether too. Once it disappears, the explorer outfit has disappeared from the mannequin and Nathalie has been transformed into Safari.)
Safari: Now, give me the power of Passion.
Monarch: (from his lair) Ziggy, your power is now mine. (absorbs Ziggy into one of his rings) Transfer. (taps the ring. Inside Safari's Alliance ring, a component lights up in the shape of the Goat Miraculous logo, granting her its power.)
Ziggy now whimpered at the thought of her superpower being used for evil while Nathaniel tries to comfort her.
Safari: What good would a hunter be without the equipment of her choice? Genesis. (Safari creates a wooden box, which drops onto the floor. Inside is a crossbow, whip, tracking device and bandolier with five types of bullets, based on the powers of the Bee, Fox, Pig, Dragon and Tiger Miraculous.)
"I thought the objects we create don't have magical properties?" Nathaniel asked his kwami in confusion as well as everyone else.
"Normally, we don't. But I guess the akuma's power might've evolved it somehow," Ziggy guessed in which the audience nodded in agreement as that made sense.
Monarch: (from his lair) Remember, Safari, you can't use more than six powers at once.
Safari: I won't make the same mistake you did, Gabriel. (opens balcony door) The hunt is on! (jumps onto a rooftop and fires her crossbow) Mirage! (An illusion of Timetagger forms. Nearby civilians start running away in panic as the villain shoots graffiti from his gun.)
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont. In the science lab, the students are working in Ms. Mendeleiev's class when they, sans Marinette and Adrien, receive a notification on their Alliance rings.
Alliance: Megakuma alert! Megakuma alert!
Timetagger: (on video) Ladybug, Cat Noir, hand your jewels over to me, or I'll blast these old monuments all over time like dust in the wind!
Mylène: Oh no, he's going to empty Paris of all of its monuments! (Timetagger appears outside the classroom and marks its window with his graffiti while laughing.)
Max: If we stay inside the school, we're gonna end up in another era!
Ms. Mendeleiev: Don't panic. Everybody, move outside quickly. (The students run out of the classroom. They all run in the same direction, but Marinette and Adrien break away unnoticed, running in separate directions.)
Chloé: There's no way I'm going back to the Middle Ages because of that loser, Ladybug!
Marinette: (in a stall in the girls' restroom) Ah, finally, I get to see Cat Noir again!
Tikki: You should be more worried about Timetagger being back.
Marinette: Yeah, of course, you're right. Tikki, spots on! (transforms)
Scene: Paris. Safari jumps on top of the Arc de Triomphe and waits for the heroes to arrive. Ladybug and Cat Noir follow the illusion of Timetagger as it teleports. They stay on top of a rooftop for a moment. Safari focuses the scope of her crossbow on them.
Tracking device: Targets locked.
Timetagger: Hahahaha! (teleports away as the heroes follow him)
Safari: That's what I call falling into the lion's den. (loads crossbow) Venom. Search. (shoots a bolt targeted at Ladybug. The heroes follow Timetagger through the city. They end up in a narrow alleyway.)
Cat Noir: We lost him.
Ladybug: We need to be on our guard. He could pop up from any time. (The duo twirl their weapons to form shields.)
Cat Noir: Or he's figured out he's not gonna get anywhere with us and he's gone back to his own time for good.
Ladybug: (lets down her guard) You're... probably right. And, you know what? Why don't we make the most of it by seeing a movie together?
"WHAT?!" Everyone in the audience (especially Marinette herself) asked on-screen Marinette in exasperation.
Cat Noir: Are you serious? A movie together?
Ladybug: Uh, a movie? Did I say that? Me? No, I didn't. (laughs awkwardly. She said to herself) Oh, what's happening to me? (She gets hit by Safari's bolt and has been immobilized.)
Cat Noir: M'lady! (sees a bolt coming towards him) Cataclysm! (destroys it. Safari is irritated at not catching her target and shoots another bolt. He sees another bolt from the same direction) Hey, that's not fair! (grabs Ladybug and escapes with her. He runs on the rooftops, continuing to avoid the bolt) Please, stop following me! I'm not even an influencer! Hashtag run!
Roger: Hey! (Cat Noir continues to evade the bolt as he runs down the road, hurtling through various vehicles in a traffic jam. When he reaches a clear road, an unsuspecting bus almost crashes into him. He throws Ladybug up in the air and slides below the bus, catching her from the other side.)
Cat Noir: (to Ladybug) So sorry. Okay, that bolt's only after me. Is it in love with me, or something? Leave me alone, bolt! (leaps into the air) My heart is already taken, you know? (lands in front of the Sorbonne, but the bolt continues to pursue him) You got the wrong guy! I really don't see us ever working out! (He hides behind a decorative statue of Cat Noir, which gets hit by the bolt instead.) Glad I have a stunt double for this one. (notices Safari landing nearby) Ah, there's the archer. (Cat Noir looks closely at the supervillain's face.) Nathalie?
Safari: Venom. Search. (shoots five bolts aimed at Cat Noir)
Cat Noir: I will save you, Nathalie. (runs off)
Scene: Sewers. Safari's bolts continue to follow Cat Noir. Cat Noir's ring starts to beep and shows only one pad remaining, indicating he's about to transform back.
Cat Noir: Oh, no, no, this isn't the time. (to Ladybug) If you were here, I'm sure you'd have a brilliant idea like you always do, but I'm just a foolish kitty about to transform back. I'm sorry. Without you, I failed. (His ring's detransformation timer runs out.)
Safari's tracking device: Target: Cat Noir, lost. (Cat Noir detransforms back into Adrien as the bolts are about to hit him. They stop mid-air, and then fly off.)
"Whoa, dude! Saved by a millisecond!" Nino said in shock as well as everyone else and they all sighed in relief that Adrien is safe on-screen.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Adrien asked curiously as well as everyone else in the audience.
"Well, the target is Cat Noir, but now he's detransformed, therefore he doesn't exist at the moment," Angel explained in which everyone else nodded in understanding.
Plagg: Adrien, everything's okay!
Adrien: (opens his eyes, gasps in surprise) The bolts are gone?
Plagg: Apparently, they only had eyes for Cat Noir. But, rest assured, I love you for who you really are - a provider of protection and exquisite cheese. (grabs a piece of cheese from Adrien's shirt and eats it)
Adrien: Plagg, this isn't funny. If I can't transform back into Cat Noir, then how are we supposed to deakumatize Nathalie? How are we going to unparalyze Ladybug? (He notices Ladybug's earring.) The bolts were only after Cat Noir, right?
Plagg: Without your suit, they flew away from you as fast as I'd run away from cheese in a can.
Adrien: I have an idea. But first, I need to wake Ladybug and borrow her Miraculous. (Adrien places Ladybug against a wall in the sewers and hides on its opposite side.) Now, Plagg! (Plagg takes off Ladybug's earrings and she detransforms.)
"HUH?!" Everyone in the audience (including the two heroes) asked in extreme confusion.
"Well, her targets are Ladybug and Cat Noir. But not Lady Noire and Mr. Bug," Angel answered with a wink and her audience murmured excitedly in understanding.
Tracking device: Target, Ladybug, lost. (Safari groans in anger and jumps onto another rooftop.)
Marinette: My earrings!
Adrien: Don't worry, I have your Miraculous, Ladybug.
Marinette: Cat Noir?
Adrien: I didn't see the real you. Plagg helped me. We can't transform, the akumatized villain's a powerful hunter. With those magic bolts, she can locate us wherever we hide.
Marinette: She can find Ladybug and Cat Noir... but not Lady Noire!
Adrien: Or Mister Bug! That's why I have your earrings.
Marinette: We really are on the same page, kitten, don't you think? (She blushes. Adrien looks at the two Miraculous in his hand closely and hesitates. He remembers Nathalie coughing when he last spoke to her.)
Adrien: M'lady, since our two Miraculous combined can grant any wish, why don't we make one ourselves? We could fix everything that's wrong with the world. We'd put an end to Monarch, wars, injustice, disease. We could finally stop fighting and be happy... right?
Marinette: Uh, no, it doesn't work that way. There's always a balance between creation and destruction. For every one thing we fixed, another would be destroyed. For every sick person we cured, another would become ill. For every villain defeated, something else, just as terrible, would be created somewhere else to replace it.
Adrien: Let's trade our Miraculous. (Plagg and Marinette sigh in relief. Plagg then brings Marinette the Cat Miraculous.) Tikki, spots on!
Marinette: (simultaneously) Plagg, claws out! (The two look around and see no bolts coming their way.)
Mister Bug: It looks like it worked!
Scene: Paris. Safari stands on a rooftop, watching through her scope. Safari's bolts fly back to her.
Safari: The hunt isn't over for Safari. Mirage. (Safari shoots another bolt, creating an illusion of Timetagger once more. In the meantime, she's being watched by Mister Bug and Lady Noire.)
Mister Bug: And so the hunter becomes the hunted, dear Safari. Shall we? (He notices Lady Noire staring at him.)
Lady Noire: You look good in red with black polka dots. It brings out the color of your eyes. (growls like a cat)
"UGGGH!" Marinette groaned loudly in exasperation towards her on-screen self as everyone else (especially Adrien) chuckled at her in amusement.
Mister Bug: Thanks... I guess? Your outfit suits you too. But if we don't get to hunting, we'll become the prey again. Lady Noire?
Lady Noire: Yes, yes, you're right. Prey, of course. We shouldn't become prey, you're right. Of course, it depends on who's doing the hunting, hey? (laughs awkwardly. She says to herself) What's wrong with me? (Mister Bug ties up Safari's crossbow with his yo-yo, then throws it to Lady Noire.)
"Not only you switched your love targets and your suits, you switched your personalities as well," Angel pointed out with a chuckle as everyone else continued chuckling towards Marinette who was blushing in embarrassment.
Safari: Hey!
Mister Bug: Gotcha!
Lady Noire: Cataclysm! (destroys the weapon. The destroyed crossbow's pieces fall onto the rooftop, but no megakuma flies out.)
Mister Bug: Uh, how am I supposed to catch a non-existent megakuma?
Safari: You can always try and catch this, bug! (throws a chimney at them)
Lady Noire: Hey! Don't you dare try to flatten my partner's gorgeous face!
Safari: Don't be jealous, Safari's gonna flatten yours too! (Safari breaks off a large chunk of another chimney with her whip, then throws it at the heroes. They dodge, but thanks to Safari's power, the object changes course mid-air and flies back at them from behind.)
Lady Noire: Hey, that goes against the laws of physics!
Safari: Destroying my gadgets doesn't destroy all my power. Most importantly, the power that never misses a target. The hunt is on! (Mister Bug and Lady Noire dodge a few objects thrown at them by the supervillain. They end up on the ground near the Sorbonne.)
Lady Noire: I told you going to the movies was a good idea!
Mister Bug: My suit has a really weird influence on you.
"Right. It's the suit," Alya sarcastically joked with an eye-roll towards her best friend with everyone else laughing hard in amusement (except for the blushing Marinette).
Safari: Relinquish your Miraculous!
Lady Noire: Monarch's the one who wants the Miraculous. What about you, Safari, what do you want?
Safari: The same thing. A wish. Everyone wants to have one, right?
Monarch: Safari, what are you up to?
Safari: Should I tell them the truth? (Monarch growls in frustration.) That's what I thought. Then off to grab my wish!
Mister Bug: There will be a price to pay!
Safari: I have nothing left to lose!
Mister Bug: You do! You can lose yourself and the ones you love. You can lose anyone who loves you back. No matter who you are, there is always someone out there who loves you! (Mister Bug destroys Safari's tracking device, while Lady Noire takes away and breaks her whip.)
Lady Noire: I destroyed everything she had. There was no akumatized object. All that's left is her suit. (Mister Bug remembers the mannequin in Nathalie's room.)
Mister Bug: Her suit! The akumatized object isn't on her, maybe it's back where she came from.
Lady Noire: We don't even know who she is!
Mister Bug: Well, in that case... Lucky Charm! (uses superpower) A bottle of perfume? (A banner with an advertisement for a perfume by Gabriel Agreste smashes into the ground next to them.) The akumatized object must be at the Agreste manor.
"Wow! What luck!" Adrien said about the Lucky Charm given with everyone else chuckling in agreement.
Lady Noire: Huh? Hold on, where'd you get that idea?
Mister Bug: The perfume? Gabriel Agreste? It all makes sense. Do you know how many times you've come up with questionable plans based on a radiator? A whistle? Or even a playing card? All without explaining anything to me. Well, today, you have to trust me. You trust me?
Lady Noire: Of course I trust you. Go, I'll handle Safari. (She squeaks then says to herself) Ah, what on earth is happening to me? I don't believe this! (Lady Noire notices Safari chasing after Mister Bug and attacks her.) Hey! I'm the only one who gets to purr-sue him!
"UGGGH! I am so done with myself right now!" Marinette exclaimed in exasperation towards her on-screen self as everyone else laughed hard in amusement.
Scene: Nathalie's room. Mister Bug jumps in through the window and wraps his yo-yo around the mannequin.
Safari: No! (Mister Bug shatters the object, releasing the megakuma)
Mister Bug: Playtime's over, little akuma. Time to de-evilize! (captures megakuma) Gotcha! (opens his yo-yo to release the purified butterfly) Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Mister Bug! (All the damage caused by the battle with Safari is fixed. The supervillain is deakumatized and Nathalie falls down onto the floor.) Watch out, Na— ma'am! Are you alright? (Gabriel opens the door and runs into the room.)
Gabriel: Nathalie! What's going on?
Lady Noire: She was akumatized by Monarch.
Mister Bug: Forcing such a fragile person to carry out his twisted plans! Monarch's a monster! He'll pay for this. We've gotta go. Will you be okay?
Nathalie: Yes. Thank you. (The superheroes run out, leaving Gabriel and Nathalie behind.)
Scene: Trocadéro. Lady Noire and Mister Bug stand on top of the building, with the Eiffel Tower in front of them.
Lady Noire: Pound it, Mister Bug.
"Pound it!" The two heroes fist-bumped and kissed in victory.
Mister Bug: Uh, aren't you forgetting something, m'lady?
Lady Noire: Uh, a kiss goodbye?
Mister Bug: Our Miraculous?
Lady Noire: Of course! I knew that. Obviously. (Mister Bug smiles)
"In Lady Noire's defense here, you do seem a lot more attractive when you're actually focused on your battles instead of flirting with Ladybug," Angel pointed out to Adrien in which after some thought, everyone else (including Marinette) murmured in agreement.
Scene: Marinette's bedroom. Alya and Marinette are sitting on the bed, talking.
Alya: And then?
Marinette: Well, then we gave our Miraculous back to each other and... that was that.
Alya: Come on, you know that's not what I was getting at. I wanna know how things went with Cat Noir— I mean, Mister Bug.
Marinette: You should've seen him! He was so... (growls like a cat) in his cute red suit with black spots. Can you believe it? I asked him out to the movies and I didn't even stammer! True, the timing was bad, but still, everything is so easy with Cat Noir, I can tell him everything I never had the courage to tell Adrien.
Alya: What about him? What did he have to say?
Marinette: Nothing! Can you believe it? He's so in love with me that he's willing to hide how much he cares for me, it's... so romantic. (Tikki laughs, while Alya facepalms.)
"This is a huge mess I made of myself," Marinette once again said to her on-screen self in exasperation as everyone else continued laughing at her.
Scene: Nathalie's room. Nathalie is sitting on her bed solemnly looking at her phone when she hears a knock on the door.
Nathalie: Yes? (hides phone in jacket) Come in, Adrien.
Adrien: I'm sorry. I'm the reason you were akumatized. I asked you about your illness without thinking and—
Nathalie: You didn't mean any harm, Adrien.
Adrien: (hugs Nathalie) You mean so much to me and even if I can't actually do anything for you, I'll always be there for you. Always.
Nathalie: (hugs Adrien back) So will I. As long as I can, I'll always be there for you too, Adrien. So, why don't you tell me about this girl you're in love with? What was it you wanted to know?
"OK, everyone, the next episode is called Reunion," Angel announced the next episode to her audience. "It doesn't refer to a Miraculous, but it refers to a special power that Miraculous holders can have. I'm sure you kwamis know what I'm talking about," Angel added in which the kwamis murmured excitedly once they understood while the humans are caught between curiosity and excitement.
"So, who's the akumatized villain?" Marinette asked curiously as well as everyone else.
"Alix, your brother's been re-akumatized back into the Pharaoh," Angel said as she looked at the tomboy teen girl who facepalmed in reaction.
"What is that doofus up to now?!" Alix asked in annoyance about her brother.
"You'll see and let's just say you will feel sorry for calling him doofus just now," Angel answered. "Anyway, let's play!"
