Scene: The Louvre. People are watching displays at the Egyptian gallery. Alim Kubdel and two other workers are moving a framed papyrus.
Alim: Easy... easy… (In another section of the museum, Marinette draws a statue of a past Miraculous holder, while Alya takes photos of the paintings.)
Alya: There's gotta be more. We just need to find the seals of the Guardians. (takes another photo) There! (zooms in on it, revealing a seal. The two stare at a painting of the Ancient European Rabbit Miraculous holder.)
Marinette: So this lady was a holder?
Alya: Of the Rabbit, obviously.
Marinette: (looks around) Miraculous holders are always pictured solo, but there had to have been some love stories between some of them. A Ladybug and a Cat Noir in love, it must've happened at some point, right?
"Why am I asking about this?" Marinette asked curiously as well as everyone else.
"Another attempt for you to justify being in love with Cat Noir," Angel answered in a deadpan manner with everyone else (including the two heroes) groaning in annoyance.
Alya: Or maybe they just focused on the job and kept their lovey-dovey stuff out of their superhero lives, like you should. Preferably with a boy you've been in love with for a long time who's finally interested in you? Does a certain Adrien ring any bells?
Marinette: Oh no, no way! Being in love with Adrien has brought me nothing but trouble. Never again! Tikki, it must've happened in the past. A Ladybug in love with a Cat Noir.
Tikki: Well, yes, but... there was no evil Monarch intent on stealing their Miraculous back then.
Marinette: So... things were going on between them?
Tikki: Oh... I don't know much about romance, you know? Maybe it would be best if you asked her yourself.
Marinette: Can we do that?
"We can do that?!" Marinette asked her kwami at the same time as her on-screen self in which the kwamis nodded in confirmation much to the humans' excited eye-widening shock.
"It's called Reunion just like the episode," Tikki started to explain about the Reunion superpower. "Any Miraculous holder can magically communicate with past holders with their Kwagatamas."
"The gift that you spit out for my birthday?" Marinette asked as she held the Kwagatama she's wearing around her neck in which Tikki nodded in confirmation and the humans cooed in excitement.
"Isn't that the statue of Joan of Arc?" Miss Bustier asked as they looked at the statue Marinette is about to do a Miraculous Reunion with on-screen.
"Yeah, she was one of my holders. Her Ladybug name back then was Scarlet Fate," Tikki excitedly answered as the humans in the audience gasped in excited shock.
Tikki: Yes, Marinette, with your Kwagatama. (Marinette recalls Tikki giving her a Kwagatama back in "Befana", then takes it off her neck and shows it to Alya.)
Alya: (gasps) Scoop! There's a way to talk to Miraculous holders of the past?
Tikki: Just touch the seal with your Kwagatama and say "Reunion"!
Alya: (looks around from behind a corner) There's no one there. We're good to go. (Marinette walks up to the statue she was drawing previously. Her Kwagatama lights up, frightening her. She backs off and accidentally knocks the ancient Rabbit Miraculous holder's painting off the wall, triggering the museum's alarm. A sealed letter is revealed to be hidden on the back side of the painting. Mr. Kubdel and his co-workers run to the room.) What's that? (picks the letter up)
Marinette: It looks like it was hidden here hundreds of years ago. And it's addressed to... Alim Kubdel? (Upon hearing the footsteps of the workers, Marinette hides the letter behind her back. The painting is quickly placed back on the wall by one of the men.)
"A letter for my dad from centuries ago?" Alix asked, shocked and confused as well as everyone else in the audience. Angel just responded by pointing to the screen, indicating they should watch further.
Alim: What happened here?
Marinette: A letter... for you! (Alim dusts off the envelope, opens it and starts reading the letter inside.)
Alim: Ah, finally!
Alya: Photos... but that's impossible. Photography hadn't been invented yet.
Alim: It's news from my daughter!
Marinette and Alya: From Alix?
"OHHHH!" Everyone in the audience loudly exclaimed in understanding about the letter to Mr. Kubdel on-screen.
"So, what did I write about in that letter?" Alix asked curiously as well as everyone else in the audience.
"You know: what you've been up to and where or when you've been since you left. Like a quick check-up for your dad," Angel answered with everyone else nodding in understanding.
Scene: Agreste mansion, kitchen. Gabriel is preparing food while Adrien and Nathalie sit at the table. Adrien's phone suddenly rings.
Adrien: Oh! Mr. Kubdel got a letter from Alix.
Gabriel: Alix... Alix... she's your friend who was given a Miraculous from Ladybug, isn't she? The time traveler?
Adrien: Mhm.
Nathalie: So she found a way to communicate with her father?
Gabriel: How touching.
Adrien: Um... Dad, Nathalie? Mr. Kubdel is inviting the whole class to meet at the museum. I know I have Chinese class this afternoon, but would it be possible for me to—
Gabriel and Nathalie: Of course.
Adrien: Thank you so much! (Adrien runs out of the kitchen. Gabriel and Nathalie smirk.)
Scene: The Louvre. Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino, Juleka, Rose, Marc, Nathaniel, Mylène, Ivan, Kim and Max are sitting on the couches as Mr. Kubdel reads the letter from Alix out loud. Jalil stands against the wall, looking uncomfortable.
Alim: (reading the letter) I visited Leonardo Da Vinci in his studio. He was finishing the Mona Lisa, which means I know who posed for him. But don't even try, I won't say a word. I promised Leo I'd keep his secret. Oh, I also met D'Artagnan and the Musketeers. They're quite extraordinary. And you know what else? Turns out Aramis is actually a woman. (The students pass the photos Alix included with the letter between each other. Marinette accidentally touches Adrien's hand while taking a photo from him and becomes uncomfortable. Adrien smiles at her. She stiffly passes the picture to Alya without even looking at it.)
"I get to meet Leonardo Da Vinci and the chick who modeled for Mona Lisa?!" Alix asked in excitement in which Angel responded with a nod in confirmation.
"LUCKY!" The teens exclaimed towards their friend in playful jealousy.
Jalil: How could you let her go?!
Alim: Jalil, enough already!
Jalil: Alix was brainwashed by Ladybug! She forced her on a crusade without us and all you're doing is... nothing!
"As you can see, Alix, your brother is very sad and angry about you leaving. And he blames the heroes, thinking they manipulated you into taking the Rabbit Miraculous and leaving your family," Angel explained to the teen girl and everyone else in the audience. Alix just responded with a nervous and guilty look towards her brother on-screen.
Alim: Your sister wasn't forced. She went into hiding in time so that Monarch couldn't take over the Miraculous of the Rabbit.
Marinette: Alix is helping Ladybug and Cat Noir restore peace!
Jalil: How could she help them if she's not even here? Can't you see this makes zero sense? Wake up, Dad!
Alim: I was there when Ladybug gave her the Miraculous. Alix agreed to the whole thing. She was proud she could help. Where are you hearing this ridiculous theory?
Jalil: Everybody's talking! Listen! (Jalil turns on his Alliance, which starts reading online forum users' comments.)
Alliance Lila: Akuma88 said: We trusted Ladybug too blindly and she only made things worse when she let Monarch steal the Miraculous. Antilady asks: Who is Ladybug anyway? Why does she wear a mask? If she has nothing to hide, she wouldn't hide anything. ChloeB says: Ladybug is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.
"Who knew Ladybug had haters?!" Alya asked in surprise as well as everyone else in the audience after they gave small glares towards Chloe who looked down in embarrassment.
"My philosophy is that everyone in the world has haters. No matter how much they're beloved by the public or how much good they've done for others in the world, I think every person would have at least one hater," Angel answered in which after some thought, everyone in the audience murmured and shrugged in agreement.
"I agree with that. Even though I've never done anything bad or scandalous that ruined my "perfect" reputation, there are still people out there who have said mean or destructive things about me," Adrien said with a sad look. "For example, they said my good looks are the only thing useful about me. Most of them are now even calling me a nepo baby. I don't even know what that means!"
"Nepo is short for nepotism, Adrien, which means you're getting jobs and amazing opportunities because of your family or friends and not really your talents and skills. So, what those people are saying by calling you a nepo baby is that you're the main model for your father's brand only because your father's the designer and owner of the brand," Max explained to his friend with a pitiful look in which Adrien sadly nodded in understanding, but was cheered up by Marinette tenderly touching his hand.
Alim: Since your sister's been gone, you've been spending too much time on social media, Jalil. Their influence on your judgment is disturbing!
Jalil: Yeah, well, at least I'm trying to do something to get Alix back! (Jalil storms off.)
Alim: Jalil is having a hard time accepting his sister's absence. I'll go talk to him. Enjoy the museum as much as you like, kids. (Alim walks out.)
Adrien: Um... hey, Marinette, since I don't have to be home right away, how would you like to go somewhere? Like, the movies for example?
Marinette: Whoa, no way! I mean— I mean, uh, oh, we really can't. We have to get back home, we have history homework. Right, Alya?
"I've always waited for the moment where Adrien would ask me out on a date and when it finally happens, this is my reply?!" Marinette ranted in exasperation towards her on-screen self while everyone else (especially Adrien) giggled in amusement.
Alya: Oh... yeah, you're right.
Nino: What do you mean? We don't have history homework.
Marinette: Um, we like to give each other extra history assignments. (Marinette and Alya walk out. Adrien and Nino look at each other, puzzled.)
Scene: The Louvre. Alya and Marinette are planning to test the Kwagatama's Reunion ability. Alya gives Marinette a thumbs-up to signify there's nobody nearby.
Marinette: Okay, here we go again.
Tikki: Actually, I don't know if it's such a good idea to bother Joan with that kind of thing. She has a very hot temper, you know?
Marinette: Don't worry, it's gonna be okay. (Marinette looks around the statue of the past Ladybug Miraculous holder in search of the Guardians' seal. She finds it and places her Kwagatama next to it.) Reunion! (The Kwagatama glows and Marinette is surrounded by photos of the faces of all the past holders of the Ladybug Miraculous.)
"WHOAAAA!" Everyone in the audience loudly cooed in excitement and wonder at the Reunion power at work on-screen.
Tikki: The one you're looking for is here. Joan of Arc, known as the Scarlet Fate. (Marinette tries to touch her portrait, but can't reach it. She jumps several times, while Alya looks at her in confusion. Marinette finally touches the image, bringing back Joan of Arc.)
Joan: Good morrow. What is your name, you clumsy young holder?
"OH MY GOD!" The humans in the audience excitedly exclaimed in shock at the sight of the spirit of Joan of Arc talking to Marinette on-screen.
"I can't believe an actual historical figure is talking to one of my students," Miss Bustier said as she smiled at the sight on-screen, though still shocked.
Marinette: Um, um, uh, M-Marinette.
Alya: What's the matter with you, girl, hearing voices or something?
"Yeah, how come I can't see her nor anything else from this super ability?" Alya asked curiously as well as all the other humans in the audience.
"Only the Miraculous holders and their kwamis can see and communicate with the past holders. No one else can see nor hear anything from the past holders," Tikki explained further about the Reunion power much to the humans' shock as they nodded in understanding.
"So, I guess the price to pay for doing this Reunion thing is to act like a crazy person talking to an imaginary friend," Marinette groaned as the kwamis nodded and shrugged in agreement.
Joan: They used to direct similar inquiries to me as well. You shalt become accustomed to it.
Marinette: (to Alya) There! There! In the armor! Can't you see her?
Alya: Huh? No…
Tikki: Only you and I can see the holders that came before you, Marinette. Hello, Joan! Nice to see you again!
Joan: Tikki, you vile little gargoyle! Still as greedy as you used to be. Hark what have you gotten yourself into that requireth my assistance? A war that needeth be ceased? A plague of dragons?
Marinette: Um... nothing like that.
Tikki: The thing is, just like you, Marinette has fallen in love with the holder of the Miraculous of the Black Cat.
Joan: I beg thy pardon?
Tikki: Well, that's what she says. But I think she's still in love with Adrien, but now that he finally loves her back, she's afraid and is running away from her true feelings by inventing new ones for someone who's even more inaccessible. Then again, I don't know much about romance, as you know.
Marinette: Come on, Tikki, I'm not running away from my feelings.
Alya: You're running like you have an army of supervillains on your tail.
Joan: I cannot believe my ears. Forsooth, are you bothering me over a mere love story? End this reunion at once, foolish damsel.
"I guess in retrospect, this is a foolish reason to communicate with a past holder," Marinette said as she groaned and facepalmed in embarrassment.
Marinette: Wait! Tikki said that you fell in love with Cat Noir too. I need to know more!
"So, there is a love story between her and the Cat Noir at the time?!" Rose asked as she gushed in happiness at the thought.
"There really is. You all will hear the whole love story at the end of this episode," Angel answered which made everyone else coo in excitement.
Joan: Nay, I have no time to be wasted on such nonsense. And you would do well to focus on your quest, if it be true you wish to be worthy of your Miraculous. End of reunion.
Marinette: No, please!
Joan: End of reunion!
Scene: The Louvre, Egyptian gallery. Jalil sits against one of the displays, listening to more social media comments regarding Ladybug and Monarch.
Alliance Lila: PalMonarch said: Monarch is the good guy. He just wants the Miraculous to make a wish, and a lot of people say that his wish is for world peace. Ladybug and Cat Noir are against it because if there's peace, nobody will need them anymore. (Jalil turns off his Alliance.)
"OK, having a hater is one thing. But, a hater who would make-believe a rumor just to find a reason to hate you two even further is going too far," Mylene said with everybody else murmuring in agreement with frowns on their faces.
Jalil: Come on, Monarch, find me. Give me the power to find my sister. In exchange, I promise I'll get you Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous.
"Is my brother seriously asking for an akuma?" Alix asked in shock towards what happened on-screen along with everyone else.
"In a moment of desperation for you to come back, yes he did," Angel answered, making sure they won't be harsh with Jalil in the long run.
Scene: Monarch's lair. The window opens and butterflies start flying around.
Monarch: A call from the heart of a brother who wants the safe return of his sister, and more importantly, to help me. How can I say no? (creates megakuma) Kaalki, your power is now mine! (absorbs Kaalki into her respective ring) Voyage, my megakuma! Emilie, Nathalie, I'm going to take back the Miraculous of time. And finally, I will make up for my mistakes.
Scene: The Louvre. Monarch's Megakuma travels through the Voyage portal and infects Jalil's folder. Contact between him and Monarch is established.
Monarch: Pharaoh, I am Monarch. Ladybug took advantage of your sister's trust. She pulled the wool over her eyes and propelled her into a time warp. Confront this lying superhero with the truth and force her to bring your beloved sister back! (Jalil is transformed into a supervillain.)
Pharaoh: Maat, give me the truth! (Pharaoh transfers the goddess' power onto the book, which starts floating.)
Book of Truth: At your service, Pharaoh. Let the pages of the Book of Truth tell you what is true and what is false.
Monarch: I'm going to give you a little present. Wayzz, your power is now mine! (absorbs the Kwami) Transfer! (taps the Turtle Miraculous ring) I am transferring to you the essence of the Miraculous of Protection. Thus, no one will be able to challenge the truth! (A component within the Pharaoh's Alliance ring lights up in the color and shape of the Turtle Miraculous symbol. The Pharaoh creates the Shield.)
"The Pharaoh with the Turtle's power of Protection," Angel pointed out to her audience.
"Then, why isn't the episode called Protection?" Adrien asked curiously as well as everybody else.
"Because there'll be another episode called Protection in which the Turtle's power will also be used mainly. The super ability of Reunion is the main point of this episode which is why this episode is called Reunion instead," Angel explained in which the audience nodded in understanding.
Pharaoh: Shell-ter! (creates barrier around the Book of Truth)
Monarch: No one can destroy the book, which means I can't lose! This plan is perfect! (The Book of Truth sends out light beams, which cover the Louvre in a yellow glow and create blockades in every single entrance.)
Joan: End of reunion!
Marinette: Well, maybe one of your partners will be more chatty. (tries to start a reunion with the Rabbit Miraculous holder on the painting behind her)
Joan: Bother not. You may contact only the memories of those who have carried the same Miraculous as yours. (The room where Marinette, Joan, Tikki and Alya are is affected by the Pharaoh superpower. It spreads outside of the Louvre too, creating a giant, golden pyramid trapping most of Paris in it.)
Book of Truth: Ladybug, Cat Noir, come face the truth if you dare!
Roger: In the name of the law, I order you to open up!
Book of Truth: Question. What color was Henry IV's white horse? (The book's pages start flipping, each with an hourglass drawn on it, indicating a timer counting down.)
Roger: Huh? Henry in the fourth precinct? But Hank doesn't ride horses, he plays pétanque. Oh wait, his daughter does ride a pony, I think… (Adrien hides inside his car to transform.)
Plagg: What color was Henry IV's white horse? Well, white!
"Yeah, isn't the answer in the question?!" Nino asked curiously towards the question being asked on-screen as well as most of the audience.
"It's actually a trick question, Nino. White horses weren't exactly white," Adrien pointed out to his best friend much to most of the audience's shock.
Adrien: If you rode horses, you'd know it's a trap. Claws out! (transforms)
Alya: It's just us in here. Now's the time!
[Transformation Sequence]
Marinette: Tikki, spots on! Yeah! (She transforms. Ladybug runs, but then notices Joan of Arc looking at her.)
Ladybug: Huh? What are you still doing here?
Joan: Well what do you think, poppet? You never ended the reunion!
Scene: The Louvre, Egyptian gallery. Alim tries to enter, but finds a blockade at the entrance.
Alim: Jalil! What's going on? Open the door!
Book of Truth: Question. What is your son's name?
Alim: Well, uh... Jalil?
Pharaoh: Book of Truth, is it true or false?
Book of Truth: False! (The book shoots Alim with a light beam. He then appears on one of its pages, trapped.)
"WHAT?!" Everyone in the audience loudly asked in shock and confusion towards what just happened on-screen.
Alim: I... I don't understand!
"So, what's the deal with my brother's powers this time?" Alix asked curiously as well as everyone else as she sports a worried look towards her father on-screen.
"He makes that book ask a person a random question under that hourglass timer. As you can see, if you get a false or wrong answer to that question or if you're too late to answer, you will be trapped in that book," Angel explained much to her audience's shock.
"Well, what if the answer is true or correct?" Marinette then asked in which Angel responded by pointing to the screen, indicating to watch further.
Pharaoh: I'm not Jalil anymore, I'm Pharaoh! Ladybug claims to have sent Alix into the time continuum for safety. You'll see, Dad, as soon as she or Cat Noir doesn't have the answer, they'll use Alix to go to the right era and bring them the answer. And this will prove me right - Ladybug is a selfish liar!
Scene: The Louvre, outside. Roger is still struggling to answer the Book of Truth's question.
Roger: The color of Henry IV's white horse? Well, off the top of my mind, brow—
Book of Truth: Too late! (The book traps Roger in its pages. Cat Noir arrives and faces the book.) Question. What color was Henry IV's white horse?
Cat Noir: Gray! Most horses that look white are actually gray. Their dark coat loses pigmentation over time. There are some pure white horses, but they were the result of crossbreeding techniques that didn't exist during the time of Henry IV.
Pharaoh: Book of Truth, is it true or false?
Book of Truth: True!
"YES!" Everyone in the audience cheered that Cat Noir got a true and correct answer to the question asked on-screen.
Pharaoh: Grr... no!
Book of Truth: The truth always prevails. (The book disappears and, with it, the barrier blocking the exit of the Louvre.)
"As you can see, if you get a true and correct answer, a barrier will disappear and you can get through further into the museum," Angel explained as her audience continued to be shocked.
Civilians: Thank you, Cat Noir! (Ladybug throws her yo-yo and a blockade inside the museum, but it bounces back and hits her in the head.)
Book of Truth: Question. Who was King of France on March 15, 1423?
Ladybug: (to Alya) Do you know that?
Alya: We can just look it up online. (Ladybug opens her yo-yo's internet search feature.)
Joan: (gasps) What have you done to your weapon?
Alya: Got a signal?
Ladybug: Nothing.
Alya: That's the kind of stuff only Bunnyx could figure out.
Ladybug: Bunnyx or someone who might've lived during that time! (turns to Joan)
Joan: Mayhap, I might have been a young maiden in the age.
Ladybug: So, who was the king of France on March 15, 1423? Please, Joan!
Joan: Hark to a simple forsooth. Following the Treaty of Troyes of 1420s, signed between the regent Isabeau of Bavaria, Queen of France, and King Henry V of England, the letter tied the nuptials with Catherine of Valois, daughter of Charles VI, who had gone completely mad. Alas, at which hour his father-in-law died, the crown and the Kingdom of France should have fallen upon him, making him the King of England and France. Except, beyond by a twist of fate, Charles VI and Henry V passed away almost at the same time. Verily, Duke John of Bedford, Henry V's younger brother thus became Regent of France during the minority of his nephew Henry VI, who was only 9 months old. While at the same time, the Dauphin Charles proclaimed himself King of France under the name Charles VII, and in faith, was finally crowned in 1429, grant you mercy to me! But in 1431—
"Um, can't she pick up the pace on this history lesson?!" Adrien asked in panic in the middle of Joan's long answer towards the question being asked on-screen.
Ladybug: We don't care about 1431! Who was King in 1423? Please, Joan!
Joan: Well... no one.
Ladybug: Thank you. (to the Book of Truth) No one was yet officially recognized as King of France on March 15, 1423.
Pharaoh: Book of Truth, is it true or false?
Book of Truth: True!
Pharaoh: Missed again... how did they do it?
Book of Truth: The truth always prevails. (The barrier disappears.)
Alya: Woah!
Ladybug: Alya, get to safety!
"This would make a great history trivia video game!" Max said excitedly and after some thought, everyone else murmured in agreement.
"That would certainly help you kids be more engaged in your history lessons," Miss Bustier pointed out to her students who rolled their eyes in response.
Scene: The Louvre. Cat Noir stands in front of the final barrier, protecting the room with the Pharaoh. The Book of Truth is counting down.
Cat Noir: Cata—
Ladybug: Cat Noir, no! Don't waste your power on that!
Cat Noir: But, m'lady, I can't answer its question and time's running out!
Joan: Be this the kitty you are crushing on? Look how puny he is!
"Puny?! What was her Cat Noir then?! A muscleman?!" Adrien asked, insulted to what Joan said about him on-screen as everybody else responded with giggles towards his rant. "I'm seriously asking, you know?" Adrien then asked Plagg.
"Well, to be fair, her Cat Noir was a grown man while you're just a teenage kid," Plagg answered with a shrug in which Adrien nodded in agreement.
Ladybug: Yes, but he's sensitive and devoted!
Cat Noir: Um, are you hearing voices or something?
Ladybug: Actually, I'm talking to Joan.
Cat Noir: Um…
Ladybug: Thanks to this Kwagatama that Tikki made for me, I was able to get in touch with the memory of one of the Ladybug holders before me! You can't see her but... she's there.
Cat Noir: Wow! I didn't even know that was possible.
Ladybug: And, thanks to Joan, I was able to answer that first question.
Cat Noir: That m'lady! Using that hakunamatata to make you virtually unbeatable in history. Such a brilliant idea!
Ladybug: Yes, that's it, that's exactly what it was! (laughs)
Joan: Oh well, bravo.
Ladybug: Shhh!
Cat Noir: But this won't do us any good here.
Ladybug: What do you mean?
Cat Noir: Can you repeat the question?
Book of Truth: What will the weather be like in Paris on July 14, 200 years from now?
"WHAT?!" Everybody in the audience asked very loudly in shock and confusion towards the question being asked on-screen.
"Who can possibly answer that?! Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!" Chloe said in annoyance as everyone else murmured in agreement.
"Well, only one person can answer that question," Angel said as she pointed a look towards Alix with everyone else following along.
"Me?" Alix asked in confusion as she pointed to herself.
"Yeah, as Bunnyx. You can travel to that point in the future and find out the answer. The tricky part is for you to receive the question and give the answer to the two heroes without returning to the present," Angel explained in which everyone else nodded in understanding.
Ladybug: But that's not a history question, it's a science-fiction question!
Monarch: A question about the future. There's no way she can answer it.
Pharaoh: Unless she appeals to my sister. You'll soon have the Miraculous that eludes you, Monarch.
Cat Noir: Only Bunnyx can answer that.
Ladybug: But she can't return to the present! It's too dangerous and we have very little time!
[Superpower Sequence]
Ladybug: Lucky Charm! (receives a fountain pen)
Joan: And what shall you be doing with your puny little sword? (Ladybug's vision highlights a rack of promotional pamphlets, the cat statues in the hall, her fountain pen, and the painting of a past Rabbit Miraculous holder.)
Ladybug: We're going to send a letter. And fast! (writing) Dear Alix, I hope you're well. I know for a fact that everyone who loves you is thinking of you. Your brother misses you so much that he got akumatized. But don't worry, I know how to save him with your help. In my future, you'll find this message. Use the Burrow to see what the weather will be like in Paris on July 14, 200 years from this day. Write down information on this leaflet. Finally, go back to my past and hide the leaflet in the Egyptian gallery. Just put it under the cat I circled in the picture. Thanks in advance. XOXO, Ladybug. (Alix is shown discovering the letter underneath the painting while attempting a Reunion of her own in the future. She transforms, fulfills Ladybug's request and writes an additional message while in the Burrow. Returning to the present, Ladybug takes the leaflet out from underneath the cat statue and reads the message on it.) There will be a thunderstorm!
Pharaoh: Book of Truth, is it true or false?
Book of Truth: True!
Pharaoh: That's impossible, she can't know that!
Book of Truth: The truth always prevails. (The final barrier collapses. The heroes face the Pharaoh.)
"Well, that was lucky! I can't imagine what would've happened if Alix didn't get the message in time. No pun intended," Marinette said with a sigh of relief in which everyone else responded the same in agreement and chuckled at the unintended pun.
Pharaoh: No! You just got lucky!
Ladybug: No, it was all about teamwork!
Joan: (pulls out sword) Charge! (passes through the Pharaoh and falls over) Ugh, I keep forgetting.
The audience chuckled lightly at the funny moment with Joan of Arc on-screen.
Pharaoh: (fights Ladybug) See, Dad? Ladybug found a ruse so she wouldn't have to bring Alix back physically. I was right! She's nothing but a power-hungry manipulator! She's the villain, not Monarch!
Ladybug: Cat Noir, look! That's where the megakuma must be!
Cat Noir: Got it! Cataclysm! (Cat Noir jumps across a few pillars, then above the Pharaoh. He touches the Shell-ter protecting the Book of Truth and destroys it. Ladybug throws her yo-yo at the object.)
Pharaoh: Shell-ter! (creates new barrier around book)
Ladybug and Cat Noir: Oh no!
Pharaoh: (captures Cat Noir) Come on, Ladybug. Give me your earrings and admit that you're the villain! Unless you want me to find out the truth about Cat Noir's identity.
Monarch: It's all over for you, Ladybug!
Joan: Why are you not doing anything? Charge!
Ladybug: I am doing something, I'm thinking. (closes her eyes and thinks, then gasps) Pharaoh, you put all those people in danger just to find out if I'm the villain. If your book really knows everything, why don't you ask it and find out for sure?
Pharaoh: Well... I could do that. (throws Cat Noir)
Ladybug: Cat Noir! (The hero signals that he's alright.) Come on, ask it.
Monarch: Don't listen to her, she's just trying to put doubt in your mind.
Pharaoh: I have to know! Book of Truth, is Ladybug really the heroine she claims to be? Did Alix really leave of her own free will to help Ladybug?
Monarch: No, no!
Book of Truth: True!
Pharaoh: Monarch, you lied to me! Take back your blasted powers! (Pharaoh breaks out of his akumatization. The barrier protecting the Book of Truth shatters and the object, along with the supervillain, are both deakumatized.)
"YES!" Everyone in the audience cheered towards the supervillain surrendering on-screen, with Alix being the loudest since it was her brother.
Ladybug: No more evil-doing for you, megakuma. Time to de-evilize! (catches megakuma) Gotcha! (releases purified butterfly) Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug! (fixes all the damage caused by the fight)
Jalil: I'm sorry I doubted you, Ladybug. It wasn't Alix who got duped, it was me. All that social media... and Monarch.
Ladybug: Yes, but the fact that you rejected the megakuma shows that you were able to think for yourself, Jalil. Your sister is proud of you.
Jalil: How do you know that?
Ladybug: She left me a little message for you.
Jalil: (reads) Come on, get your head up and raise your fist, bro. (looks up to see Ladybug and Cat Noir with their fists up)
Ladybug, Cat Noir and Jalil: Pound it! (The lair to Monarch's window closes. He leaves his lair and detransforms. Gabriel opens the door to Nathalie's bedroom.)
"Pound it!" Marinette, Adrien, and Alix did a three-way fist-bump before the hero couple kissed in victory.
Gabriel: I'm sorry.
Scene: The Louvre. Marinette speaks with Joan of Arc while Alya guards the entrance.
Joan: You and Cat Noir are much stronger than you look. You are smarter than we were, ever. Well, especially you. Mayhap you shall do better than us.
"Coming from a real heroic historical figure, this must be a huge compliment for you, Marinette," Kagami pointed out in which everyone else murmured in agreement with smiles on their faces while Marinette blushed at the praise.
Marinette: You really don't wanna tell me what happened?
"Now, here's the story with Joan and her Cat Noir," Angel announced in which her audience gave the screen their full attention in excitement.
Joan: Oh... (montage of Joan's past appears, with Joan narrating) in my known day, the Kingdom of England was protected by the hero who wore the Miraculous of the Black Cat. His nameth was Dark Grimalkin. The Duke of Bedford, then regent, had ordered him to help the English armies to subdue France. I was then entrusted with my Miraculous of the Ladybug to restore the balance, and I becameth Scarlet Fate. We fought each other at time of many, Dark Grimalkin and I, until we realized we were being manipulated by the monarchs of each our own. Greedy were they for power and cared not for the fate of the people. We fell in love, my sweet gib and I. No more did we wanteth to fight. We just wanted to love each other. This did not please the petty kings. We tried to be in secret, but those gents caught us. We were over. Well... most of me. (montage ends) But with one final trick, I did manage to escapeth. Then both we gave up our Miraculous, not to be seen again.
"So, she and her Cat Noir were enemies pitted against each other by the kings of England and France, but then stopped and fell in love once they found out how their war against each other was affecting innocent people?" Marinette asked as she recounted Joan's story on-screen in which Tikki and Plagg nodded in confirmation and everybody else responded by gushing at the love story.
"I have to say that Cat Noir or Dark Grimalkin was kind of scruffy, but really handsome," Alya pointed out as soon as she saw Dark Grimalkin's face and the girls in the audience lightly murmured in agreement.
Marinette: And then you lived happily ever after?
Joan: I hope so, Marinette. I hope so.
Marinette: Huh?
"HUH?!" The humans in the audience asked loudly in confusion simultaneously as Marinette on-screen.
"This is only the spirit of Joan back when she was my holder. She won't remember anything that happened after she renounced me and the Miraculous. Same thing goes for all the past Miraculous holders," Tikki explained in which the kwamis nodded in confirmation and the humans nodded in understanding.
Tikki: That's not the real Joan, Marinette. It's just her memory as a holder. She can't know what she did after she gave up her Miraculous. (Marinette tries to hug Joan of Arc but, forgetting she's a ghost, falls over instead. The two laugh.)
The audience (including Marinette herself) laughed hard at Marinette trying to hug Joan then falling on-screen.
Joan: So, end of reunion?
Marinette: End of reunion. (The ghost of Joan of Arc disappears.)
Alya: Everything okay, Marinette?
Marinette: Yes. Apparently, a love story between the holder of the Miraculous of the Black Cat and Ladybug is possible. But does that mean I'll have to give up on my Miraculous? (Alya and Tikki look at each other with concern.)
Scene: Agreste mansion, Adrien's room. Adrien is lying on his bed, looking at a photo of Marinette on his phone. Plagg creates a Kwagatama, which drops on the boy's chest.
"Next time we're at the museum, let's try to find past holders of our own Miraculous and try to do this Reunion thing if we could," Alya suggested, in which most of the Miraculous holders seem excited at the idea.
"Any fabulous past holders I should know about, Pollen?" Chloe then asked her kwami with a look of hope.
"Oh, yes, my queen. Almost all of my holders are of female royalty. Like Queen Elizabeth of England. The first one," Pollen answered with a proud smile.
"Really?!" Chloe asked with an excited smile.
"It's true, Chloe. That's why Pollen has gotten the habit of calling all her holders "her queen" when her Miraculous is being used," Tikki answered in which the kwamis nodded in confirmation.
"Anyway, the next episode is Elation which refers to the Tiger Miraculous. Andre is once again re-akumatized as Glaciator," Angel announced to her audience as they groaned in annoyance at seeing Glaciator again while Angel played the episode.
