Scene: Streets of Paris. Kagami and Adrien are in their cars, on their way to fencing class.
Tatsu: 2 PM – fencing class. 4 PM – meeting with your mother. 4:30 PM – Ikebana workshop.
Adrien: (Talks over the phone with Marinette.) If I get out of fencing class early…
Marinette: (over the phone) We'll have four minutes and thirty seven seconds to spend with each other. Do you think I should disguise myself? In case your father picks you up?
"Now we're resorting to having few-minute dates?! Thanks a lot, Father!" Adrien ranted in frustration with everyone else murmuring in exasperated agreement.
Adrien: (laughs.) Not today. I know he's too busy. Besides, no one will tell him. (Looks at his bodyguard, who smiles back. Kagami and Adrien both arrive in front of the school and exit their cars. As they walk inside, Argos watches them from the school rooftop.)
"Is that Felix? What's he doing back?!" Adrien asked as soon as he recognized the feet from the school's rooftop on-screen with everyone else nodding in fascination. Angel just pointed to the screen, indicating they should watch further.
Scene: Gabriel's lair. Gabriel lies on a special machine which uses the kwamis' energy to try to heal his Cataclysm wound. Nathalie increases the machine's power when it suddenly gives out.
"OHHHH!" Everyone in the audience exclaimed at the sight of more of the Cataclysm wound to Mr. Agreste's body on-screen.
"Yep! The Cataclysm on the old guy is getting worse!" Plagg said, horrified along with everyone else about the Cataclysm wound.
"What's the old dude doing now?" Nino asked as well as everybody else.
"He's trying to use the kwamis' energy to somewhat treat his Cataclysm wound," Angel explained much to the humans' shock and the kwamis' exasperation.
"THAT WON'T WORK!" The kwamis yelled out in angry exasperation towards Mr. Agreste on-screen.
"The energy from us kwamis may help him extend some time for his life, but it won't heal the Cataclysm. Nothing will!" Plagg explained to the humans upon seeing the confused looks on their faces which made them nod in understanding.
Roaar: Ugh... did no one ever tell you that stealing others' energy against their will isn't nice?
Kaalki: I told you. No magic can heal this wound.
Barkk: A Cat Noir Cataclysm can't be healed!
Gabriel: Who said anything about healing? All I need is time. More time to seize Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. Then I could wish for anything. I could fix everything. Save my wife! You too, Nathalie. And save myself…
Tomoe: You're forgetting my part of the deal, Gabriel-san. As always, you're losing yourself in sentimental trifles. Our vision of the future is much bigger than that. We are connected, just like our children. They were made for each other and I will not tolerate another glitch in our plan. Whether it be Adrien's cousin, that Félix boy, or this Marinette Dupain-Cheng who keeps looking around your son. My daughter's behavior is exemplary and I expect the same from your descendant. (Points her shinai at Gabriel's stomach.)
"Talk about pretension. No child…nor adult is perfect," Sabine said about Mrs. Tsurugi's pretentious attitude about her parenting on-screen, partly angry for insulting her own daughter. Everyone else just nodded in agreement, even Kagami who is tired of her mother's boastful attitude for having a perfectly-controlled daughter.
Gabriel: I promise you I'm going to regain control over Adrien and seize all the Miraculous. Ladybug's, Cat Noir's and the Peacock. As it turns out, Félix had the bright idea of leaving this behind during his last visit. (Hands Tomoe the special high-tech lens Félix dropped during his investigation of the manor in "Risk".)
Tomoe: Interesting.
Scene: In front of Collège Françoise Dupont. Adrien and Kagami leave the school after fencing class. Marinette drives up to them on her scooter.
Marinette: You know what, Adrien? No more mustaches and four-minutes-and-thirty-seven-second dates! That's over! I've been doing some thinking and we shouldn't have to hide! (notices Kagami.) Oh, hey Kagami! How are you?
Kagami: Hello, Marinette. I'm fine, thank you.
Adrien: I'm sorry, Marinette, it's my fault. I just couldn't talk to my father.
Marinette: No, don't apologize! It makes sense that you didn't make it work because that's you! (Adrien becomes upset.) I mean, not you you but you, as in, not me. Your dad doesn't have a problem with you anymore, he's even become super cool, making you pancakes, giving you all the freedom you need. He's come such a long way and that's amazing. But he does have a problem with me. He feels worried and I would be too if I were him. He thinks I'm one of those fans who follows you everywhere, showers you with hand-knitted gifts and knows every single one of your middle name days.
Kagami: Isn't that what you used to do, Marinette?
Marinette: Yes... except no! I mean, yes, but I was doing it out of love and, besides, I've changed a lot.
Kagami: You are correct.
Marinette: Really? You think I've changed a lot?
Kagami: No. Well, not that much. But you're right to want to talk to Adrien's father. (sees her car arrive.) I also have been running away from my responsibilities for too long. (The car door opens. Tomoe is waiting for her daughter inside.) It is time I talk to my mother. (Gets inside the car.)
Tomoe: You kept me waiting, Kagami. (Tatsu drives off. Adrien's car pulls up right after.)
"Kept her waiting by what?! 30 seconds?!" Alix asked in exasperation towards Mrs. Tsurugi on-screen along with everyone else.
"My mother's very particular about punctuality," Kagami explained while she looked down in embarrassment.
Adrien: (sighs.) Four minutes and thirty seven seconds goes by fast.
Marinette: (Grabs Adrien by the hand.) Once I've convinced your father, we won't have to count the seconds anymore. Everything is gonna be okay. (The two enter the car. She says to the bodyguard) Hello! How are you?
Adrien: Everything is going to be okay. Don't worry.
"No offense, you two, but somehow I seriously doubt that," Alya said to the hero couple with everyone else (including the two heroes themselves) murmuring in agreement.
Scene: Agreste mansion. The car arrives at the mansion. Gabriel watches from his atelier as the two teenagers exit and walk inside. In the main hall, Marinette starts panicking.
Marinette: Maybe I should've warned your father beforehand, sent him a letter or a text or an e-mail or—
Adrien: You're right, Marinette, my father has changed. Everything is gonna be okay.
Marinette: (after a moment of hesitation) Yes!
Scene: Agreste's kitchen. Gabriel prepares food as the couple walks inside.
Gabriel: Ah! Perfect timing, you two, I hope you're hungry.
Adrien: Dad, Marinette and I need to tell you something.
Gabriel: Of course, of course. Marinette, are pancakes okay for you?
"MORE PANCAKES?! Can your father change the menu for once?! Like a nice cheese souffle?" Plagg asked in exasperation much to everyone else's amusement as they rolled their eyes in response.
Marinette: Uhh... sure are.
Gabriel: Adrien, how was practice?
Adrien: Great, Dad.
Gabriel: (to Marinette) His practice always goes great. Adrien, you may leave us now, please. I think Marinette and I will be more comfortable talking alone.
Adrien: But I'd rather stay here with Marinette…
Gabriel: Adrien, I'm your father. I'm asking you to go up to your room. (Adrien walks out with a sad expression on his face.) I'm listening, dear Marinette.
Marinette: Well... uh...
Scene: Adrien's room. Adrien closes the door.
Plagg: Phew! We came this close to having to endure another serving of pancakes. Can't your father consider a change of menu? I mean, if he really wants to cook, I have a recipe for a roquefort tartiflette.
"Oh, even a better idea of mine!" Plagg said as he licked his lips at the thought of a roquefort tartiflette with everybody else once again rolling their eyes in amusement towards the kwami.
Adrien: Plagg, I've gotta go back down there. I can't leave Marinette all alone.
Plagg: Well, go ahead then, what's stopping you?
Adrien: I can't... I can't disobey my father.
Plagg: Then stay here with me and relax. (Eats a piece of Camembert.) What are you worried about?
"Relax, kitty cat. He may be trying to intimidate me, but it's not like he's gonna murder me," Marinette said to calm down her boyfriend with everyone else chuckling in agreement.
"Well, unless he finds out you're Ladybug," Chloe noted which made the audience glare at her (especially the two heroes). "I'm just saying!"
Scene: Agreste's kitchen.
Marinette: And that's why I'm sure this is all just a big misunderstanding.
Gabriel: You're right, Marinette. There is a misunderstanding. (Serves her a pancake on a plate.) You see this pancake? It's your future. If it's not big enough for you, I can make it just the way you like. Simply tell me what you want. Double pancake? Triple pancake? With jam, maple syrup, bananas? All you have to do is ask and you'll have everything you wish for. You know, I remember the hat you created for Adrien. You're talented. And with my support, the daughter of the local bakers could become the world's greatest designer. (Marinette starts imagining her future self as a world-famous fashion designer.) The perfect pancake awaits you. The only thing you won't be able to do with that pancake is share it with Adrien, and to prove my point – do you see him in this kitchen? No, he's not with you, and he never will be, because Adrien has a destiny, and that destiny does not include sharing pancakes with you.
"Trying to make me choose between Adrien and my fashion dreams? I should've seen that coming!" Marinette said in anger towards Mr. Agreste on-screen with everyone else nodding in agreement, sporting frowns in anger as well.
Marinette: But... no! That can't be. Adrien and I are in love and—
Gabriel: I don't think you understand, child, so let me put things differently. Life is like fashion. You think you have a choice, but all you have is the illusion of choice. And I decide what choices are given to you.
Marinette: You're wrong! (Shows Gabriel her sketchbook.) Fashion is about listening to people, it's about understanding who they are, what excites them and creating the clothes that will help them express their inner world. Help them connect with others and make their dreams come true.
Gabriel: (laughs and takes her sketchbook, then browses its pages.) No, that's not fashion. That's making dresses for your dolls. Fashion is a product, a marketing strategy, an industry that relies on uninterrupted trend renewal that forces you to either throw away everything you have and buy more or, worse, to be out of fashion. Thanks to the clothes I create, the celebrities who wear them, the advertisements I design and the Alliance rings that broadcast them, I create an idyllic vision. A perfection that everyone aspires to achieve, while keeping it just out of their grasp. You finally understand the difference, don't you? You listen to people's desires and create what they want. Somehow, people make you. Whereas I create people's desires. They buy what I decide to buy. They think what I want them to think. I'm the one who makes people. You think you love Adrien, but you're just under the spell of this world I've created. A world where Adrien is a star, shining high above. A world where you're just part of the crowd below looking up at him. (Shuts the sketchbook.) That is why nothing can ever happen between you two. The only choice I'm offering you is this – either you eat this pancake and have everything except Adrien, or you refuse the pancake and you'll have nothing except your childish dreams. (Gabriel places the sketchbook back on the table. Marinette looks dismayed.) So, will you take a pancake with syrup or jam? I recommend jam, it's clementine, slightly bitter but really delicious.
"So, basically my father's saying that fashion is all about brainwashing and conformity?! That can't be right!" Adrien said in anger towards what his father said to Marinette on-screen.
"If that's what fashion's really all about, I'd rather wear the ugliest clothes in the world!" Alix expressed her opinion on the subject with everyone else (though Chloe was reluctant) nodding in agreement.
Marinette: I... think I lost my appetite. (Marinette takes her sketchbook and leaves the kitchen.)
"Yep! That conversation just ruined my appetite for pancakes. Possibly for life," Marinette gulped after the intense conversation between herself and Mr. Agreste on-screen. Everyone else murmured in understanding, expressing similar sentiments.
Scene: Agreste mansion. As Marinette heads towards the door, she turns around and looks at Adrien's room, then at Gabriel. She smiles confidently at him and runs towards the room.
Gabriel: No! I forbid you!
Scene: Adrien's room. Marinette opens the door.
Adrien: Marinette!
Marinette: I love you, Adrien. I won't abandon you ever! (Hugs him.)
Gabriel: (to the bodyguard) Go get her, now!
Marinette: I'll always be there for you.
"AWWWW!" Everyone in the audience gushed at what Marinette said to Adrien on-screen, though the two heroes looked at each other with brief nervous looks.
Scene: Agreste mansion. Marinette walks out confidently. On the stairs, the bodyguard moves out of her way. She stops as she's about to exit.
Marinette: (to Gabriel) You know what the problem is with your pancakes? Way too much flour, not enough butter. You're using an old, completely outdated recipe. No one likes them like that anymore. And that's the good thing about being a baker's daughter. I don't even need to try them to know that they're tasteless. (Marinette walks out triumphantly. Once she's on the street, she leans against the mansion gate's wall and starts breathing heavily.) What have I done?
"WHOO! YOU SHOW HIM WHO'S BOSS!" Kim loudly cheered towards Marinette, breaking the long silence towards what happened on-screen. Everyone else followed along with cheers and applause towards the blue-haired girl much to her blushing embarrassment.
Scene: Streets of Paris. Kagami speaks to her mother in the car.
Kagami: Which is why, Mother, I don't want you thinking of me and Adrien as a couple anymore. Out of respect for Adrien's and my feelings, and Marinette's as well. (Argos lands on top of the car and eavesdrops on the conversation.)
Tomoe: (places her shinai on Kagami's hand.) What do you see here, Kagami? It is our family crest, and that crest dictates your behavior – a duty. If you're not your own master, then you're already your own slave. How can you ever be a part of the masters if you're a slave to your own emotions? Do we understand each other, Kagami? (Kagami doesn't reply.)
Argos: No one should have to endure such words! (Cuts open the car's roof, drags Kagami out and takes her with him.)
"Why is Felix kidnapping me?" Kagami asked, shocked as well as the rest of the audience.
"Just when you thought Felix can't surprise you all any more than he already has, the reason he's kidnapping you Kagami will definitely surprise you all!" Angel vaguely responded while pointing to the screen which got the audience's attention.
Tatsu: Sun roof activated! Sun roof activated! Sun roof activated! Sun roof activated! (Tomoe coughs from the smoke caused by the damage. One of the feathers that fell out of Argos' fan falls into her hands. She opens a hidden compartment in the car's door, takes out five Alliance rings and puts them on. Using the sixth she already had on, she calls Gabriel.)
Tomoe: Félix is back. It is time to recover the Miraculous of the Peacock. Akumatize me!
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Your wish is my command, Tsurugi-san. Kaalki, your power is now mine! (absorbs the kwami into his Horse Miraculous ring, then creates a megakuma.) Voyage, my megakuma!
Scene: Streets of Paris. A portal opens right next to Tomoe in the car. The Megakuma flies through it, shatters the barrier of her magical charm and infects her shinai. A light mask appears over the woman's face.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Matagi Gozen, that monster Félix has endangered our children enough! I am giving you the power to take back what was once ours and stop him from doing any more harm.
Scene: Streets of Paris. Tomoe and Tatsu are transformed together into Matagi Gozen – a massive, robotic archer woman riding a dog-horse hybrid.
Matagi Gozen: Let the power of my arrows put our descendants back on the straight path of their destiny!
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Pollen, your power is now mine! (absorbs the kwami into the Bee Miraculous ring.) Transfer. (Taps the ring, transferring the power to Matagi Gozen's Alliances.) The essence of the Miraculous of Action will give you the power of paralysis. Orikko, your power is now mine! (absorbs the kwami into the Rooster Miraculous ring.) To ensure our success, I am transferring the essence of the Miraculous of Pretension to you. It will give you the ability to grant yourself the power of your choice. Transfer! (Taps his ring, transferring the power to Matagi Gozen's Alliances.)
"She'll be using multiple Miraculous powers, but the Rooster's power will be her main one," Angel explained, making her audience nod in understanding. Upon hearing that, Orikko whimpered in fear of his power being used for evil with Marc trying to comfort him.
Scene: Streets of Paris.
Matagi Gozen: Sublimation! I am granting myself the power of a super sense of smell! (Matagi Gozen allows her Inuma to sniff the feather from Argos' hand fan. A blue trail leading to him appears in the air.) Now, I can follow your trail, Argos.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Mullo, your power is now mine! (absorbs the kwami into the Mouse Miraculous ring.) Transfer! (taps his ring, sending the power to Matagi Gozen's Alliances.) And finally, the Miraculous of Migration. It will allow you to teleport anywhere. Transfer! (Transfers the fourth power to Matagi Gozen.) Matagi Gozen, seize Ladybug's, Cat Noir's and Argos' Miraculous! Then, our children will live happily ever after.
Scene: Streets of Paris.
Matagi Gozen: Well spoken. (Starts following Argos' scent trail.)
Scene: Eiffel Tower. Argos heads to the top of the Eiffel Tower. He walks inside Gustave Eiffel's office, still holding Kagami.
Kagami: Let go of me right now! (Argos sets Kagami down. She grabs a nearby chair and tries to hit him with it.)
Argos: Stop! (detransforms.)
Scene: Place de la Concorde. The blue trail Matagi Gozen is following disappears.
"Um, why did that blue thing go away?" Rose asked, confused as well as everyone else in the audience.
"That's Argos' scent. Once he detransformed back into Felix, the scent was gone," Angel explained, making her audience murmur in understanding.
Scene: Eiffel Tower.
Félix: I'm not your enemy. I just want to talk to you. (Kagami, still guarded, waits for him to speak.)
Scene: Place de la Concorde. Matagi Gozen's Inuma can't pick up on the scent trail again.
Matagi Gozen: Multitude! (splits into four clones.) Look for him. His trail is bound to turn up somewhere. Voyage! (Two clones teleport away, while the other two run off.)
Scene: Eiffel Tower.
Kagami: What is it you want to tell me?!
Félix: I... I don't know. But ever since I saw you, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I've felt that... you and I... were the same. (Kagami looks surprised.) We have so much in common, and yet, you're also so different. I've never met someone like you.
Kagami: We don't even know each other!
Félix: I know you. I've been following you non-stop.
Kagami: Even better! You follow me, you spy on me and now you've kidnapped me to get to know me?!
Félix: Uh... yes?
Kagami: You are utterly incompetent at social relations. (sighs.) You can't take someone away against their will!
Félix: Sorry, I won't do it again, I... just wanted to protect you from your mother. She can't talk to you like that. (Kagami stares at him in awe and confusion.)
"Let me see if I have this right: Felix kidnapped Kagami because he's…falling in love with her?!" Marinette asked, recapping on what she just heard on-screen. Angel responded by slowly nodding her head in confirmation, making everyone else widen their eyes and drop their jaws in shock.
"OK, I totally did not see that coming from my cousin!" Adrien noted, making everyone else nod their heads in agreement still in shock. Meanwhile, Kagami blushed in embarrassment upon hearing Felix's feelings for her on-screen while Luka showed a look of mild jealousy.
Scene: Place des Vosges. Marinette walks back home.
Marinette: (breathes heavily) I can't believe I stood up to Gabriel Agreste like that, Tikki!
Tikki: You were incredible, Marinette! (The two notice one of Matagi Gozen's clones passing by, searching for Argos. Marinette runs off.)
Marinette: Tikki, spots on! (transforms into Ladybug and jumps onto a rooftop with her yo-yo.)
Scene: Adrien's room.
Adrien: I can't believe she had the courage to stand up to my father.
Plagg: This girl really is no pushover. (They notice another Matagi Gozen clone jumping across rooftops.)
Adrien: Plagg, claws out! (Transforms into Cat Noir and leaves through his window.)
Scene: Ice Rink. Matagi Gozen teleports onto the rink, scaring all the skaters away.
Scene: Grand Palais. Matagi Gozen stands on the rooftop, looking out for Argos.
Scene: Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes. Matagi Gozen finishes her search of the area and teleports away.
Scene: Streets of Paris. The four clones gather, having found nothing. Light masks appear on their faces.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Argos must have transformed back.
Scene: Streets of Paris.
Matagi Gozen: It doesn't matter. We have a way to track down Félix too. (One clone passes another one Félix's high-tech lens. Once the Inuma sniffs it, a new trail instantly reveals itself.)
"And that's Felix's scent," Angel pointed out, making her audience nod in understanding, though worried for him and Kagami on-screen.
Scene: Eiffel Tower. The four Matagi Gozens follow the trail to the tower. Once they reach it, they jump off their animals and head up. Félix and Kagami hear the loud footsteps and look out the door.
Matagi Gozen: Kagami, don't move! I've come to save you from that good-for-nothing! (Ladybug and Cat Noir jump in.)
Ladybug: We've come to save you, Kagami!
Félix: I'm the one who's come to save you. (grabs her hand.) Duusu, spread my feathers! (transforms into Argos.)
Matagi Gozen: Félix abducted my daughter, and you want to stop me from saving her? Whose side are you on, Ladybug and Cat Noir? (They load Venom-charged arrows on their bows.)
Argos: Follow me. (Argos runs out with Kagami and jumps down the tower. The supervillain and two heroes pursue them.)
Matagi Gozen: You will never escape us! (Two Matagi Gozens chase after Argos, two stay at the tower.)
Ladybug: You take those two, Kitty. I'll take the other two, (inserts earpiece.) and Félix.
Cat Noir: Teach 'em a lesson, m'lady! (Ladybug runs off, Cat Noir uses his staff to protect himself from Matagi Gozen's Venom arrows.)
Matagi Gozen: This is what heroes do? Not only did you help that monster escape, but now you're going to fight me? A mother trying to save her daughter?
Cat Noir: (through his earpiece) Hey, m'lady, when you think about it, they're not wrong. We all want the same thing. If we let them save Kagami, we could seize the opportunity to get Félix's Miraculous back!
Scene: Streets of Paris.
Ladybug: (through her earpiece) Too risky. They're under Monarch's influence. (Gets kicked into a wall by Matagi Gozen. Another clone teleports in front of her.) Mrs. Tsurugi, reject the megakuma and let us return your daughter safely back to you!
Scene: Eiffel Tower. The two Matagi Gozens circle Cat Noir, constantly shooting at him.
Matagi Gozen: If you're not with me, you're against me! (shoots a Clout-charged arrow into the tower above her, dropping debris onto Cat Noir.)
Cat Noir: (gets buried underneath the rubble.) Cataclysm! (creates a hole leading to the city's sewers.)
Matagi Gozen: (picks up the staff Cat Noir left behind.) Fleeing is the weapon of cowards, and this staff is the weapon that will bring your downfall, Cat Noir. (Lets her Inuma sniff the weapon, creating a new trail leading to the hero. She jumps into the sewers to follow him.)
Scene: Arc de Triomphe. Ladybug fights one of the Matagi Gozen clones. She gets the upper-hand but is taken by surprise by a second clone. Matagi Gozen sees Argos with Kagami passing by.
Matagi Gozen: We're about to lose him! (Ladybug tries following the villain but is stopped by the second clone.)
Scene: Sewers.
Cat Noir: (hides in a room.) Claws in. (detransforms. Matagi Gozen loses her scent trail.)
Scene: Streets of Paris. Matagi Gozen slowly follows Argos' scent trail down a street. The Miraculous holder and Kagami are hiding in a narrow alleyway.
Kagami: You know, if you leave me here, my mother will calm down. She'll stop attacking you.
Argos: I'm not here to return you to your mother, but to set you free from her. (puts his hand on her shoulder.)
Kagami: I don't need you to set me free from anything! I can very well set myself free! (grabs him by the hand and throws him on the ground.) If I were you, I wouldn't stick around. She doesn't seem to like you.
Matagi Gozen: You're not going anywhere, Kagami. Venom! (Matagi Gozen shoots an arrow at Kagami, but Argos protects her just before she's hit. The two escape onto a rooftop.)
Argos: She doesn't seem to like you either!
Kagami: My mother pretends to come to my rescue, and then shoots arrows at me?
Argos: And you've never met my father. He was a thousand times worse. (sets Kagami down and breaks his fan.)
"Do you remember what Felix's father was like? Because it seems like he is the root cause of your cousin's issues, " Kagami asked Adrien curiously as well as everyone else who murmured in agreement about what she said about Felix.
"I don't really remember him all that well. Although I wanna believe Felix, I can hardly believe that anyone would be a thousand times worse than my father and your mother," Adrien answered with a thoughtful frown in his face.
"You'd be surprised about your family history as we go on later, Adrien," Angel then said to the blond-haired boy much to his and everyone else's shock as she replayed the episode.
Kagami: But... don't you need it to fight?
Argos: Fighting's no longer my priority. All I care about is your safety. (throws pieces of the fan in many directions.)
"OK, that's a first from your cuz, dude!" Nino noted to his best friend about the latter's cousin in shock with everyone else nodding in agreement.
Matagi Gozen: (Follows one trail in the sky when she sees another one, and then another on the road.) No... no... no, no! (Using his personal items, Argos has created multiple fake trails across the entire city to throw off the supervillain. He enters the sewers with Kagami.)
Argos: Fold my feathers. (detransforms. All the trails disappear.)
Scene: Sewers.
Adrien: (looks out the room to see Matagi Gozen pass by it.) Plagg, claws out! (The staff disappears from Matagi Gozen's hand, but Cat Noir's scent trail reappears.)
Kagami: I don't understand. You have the Miraculous of the Peacock. Why don't you create a sentimonster to get us out of here?
Félix: First of all, don't call them that. (throws his cufflink into the sewage.) I refuse to create a being to manipulate them, control them, abuse them, and end up destroying them.
Cat Noir: (through his earpiece) I found Kagami and Félix. Félix transformed back. Now's the time.
Félix: When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them. Your duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence. To deprive them of that... is monstrous.
Kagami: Are you talking about... yourself?
Félix: I'm talking about... us.
"WHAT THE WHAT?!" The teens (except for Kagami who is frozen in shock) exclaimed as the audience sat in shock and confusion at what Felix just revealed about himself and Kagami on-screen.
"Did-did I hear that correctly? Felix just said that he and I are…sentimonsters?" Kagami quietly but clearly asks once she's broken out of her frozen state.
"Yes, Kagami. You and Felix are sentimonsters. Or sentibeings if you prefer," Angel answered in which Kagami gasped and panted heavily in shock with Luka trying to comfort her.
"But, I-I-I do not understand! How…how…how…?" Kagami asked as she continued her panic attack at the truth of her existence while everyone else still sat frozen in shock.
"I'm sorry, I don't know the full story of it, Kagami," Angel said to the Japanese girl with an apologetic look on her face.
"And what about Felix?! How is he a sentimons…I mean a sentibei…? I'm sorry. This is all majorly disorienting right now!" Adrien asked, feeling very uneasy about the truth about his cousin with Marinette trying to comfort him.
"That will be revealed later on, Adrien. Let's get back to the episode," Angel calmly answered as she also shared an apologetic look towards the blond-haired boy as she replayed the episode. I can't imagine when you find out that you're a sentibeing too. Angel then thought in her head towards Adrien.
If Kagami and his cousin are sentibeings, my theory about Adrien is getting stronger! Master Fu then thought in his head with a fearful look on his face.
Ladybug: Félix, set Kagami free!
"My suit has changed. Have I called up my Lucky Charm already?" Marinette asked as soon as she saw herself in her Lucky Charm outfit on-screen.
"Yeah. It's a pair of scissors," Angel answered though that left the audience confused on what Ladybug should do with it. "You'll see."
Cat Noir: And this time, you're giving us back the Miraculous of the Peacock!
Kagami: I am nobody's prisoner! Félix is not your enemy! He's like me! He doesn't know how to express himself. Everyone is wrong about him! Including me. (They smile at each other.)
Cat Noir: Uhh... do you understand what's going on?
Ladybug: I'm... not sure of anything anymore. (Matagi Gozen finds the four.)
"AMEN!" Everyone else exclaimed to what Ladybug just said on-screen, confused by all what's happening on-screen.
Matagi Gozen: You're going to give me back my daughter and relinquish all Miraculous! (unleashes a barrage of arrows. Ladybug and Cat Noir protect Félix and Kagami)
Ladybug: (sees her Lucky Charm scissors, Félix and Kagami highlighted in her vision.) Kagami, take this. I'm counting on you. Now is the time to trust Félix. We'll cover you. (Ladybug and Cat Noir rush at Matagi Gozen.)
Kagami: Trust them.
Félix: Duusu, spread my feathers. (transforms and escapes.)
Ladybug: (ties up the four Matagi Gozen clones with her yo-yo, causing one of them to drop her bow.) Kagami, you're up! (Kagami uses the scissors to cut the string of the bow, releasing the Megakuma.) No more evil-doing for you, megakuma. Time to de-evilize! (captures the megakuma.) Gotcha! (releases the purified butterfly.) Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug! (The damaged Eiffel Tower is repaired. Ladybug creates a magical charm for Tomoe.) Mrs. Tsurugi, this magical charm will remind you that, in case of a problem, Monarch will never be a good ally. You can, however, always count on us.
Ladybug and Cat Noir: Pound it!
"Pound it!" The two heroes once again fist-bumped and kissed in victory.
Cat Noir: Ah, we let him get away with the Miraculous of the Peacock.
Ladybug: I hope we won't regret it.
Scene: Streets of Paris. In her car, Tomoe furiously clenches her magical charm, then calls Gabriel with her Alliance.
Tomoe: How could we fail? Our plan was perfect!
Scene: Gabriel's atelier.
Gabriel: It was your pretension that was our undoing, Tsurugi-san.
Scene: Streets of Paris.
Tomoe: How... dare you?!
Scene: Gabriel's atelier.
Gabriel: Despite what you claimed, your daughter is not under your control. She's the reason we failed.
Scene: Streets of Paris. Tomoe hangs up.
Kagami: (enters the car.) Mother, I can no longer accept your controlling my behavior. To follow one's heart is not a weakness.
Tomoe: I was wrong about you. You are weak. Controlled by your feelings. You are not up to our family's ambitions. But I will not let you add humiliation to the disappointment you already are to me, and if I have to force you into obedience for that, Kagami, then I will. You are no longer worthy of our family crest. (Kagami takes off her ring and hands it to her mother without a word.)
"Your mom's working with the city terrorist, and you're the disappointment?!" Alya asked her Japanese friend in her defense against her mother's harsh words on-screen with everyone else loudly murmuring in agreement.
"I appreciate your defense, everyone. But my family is all about obedience, so technically, I would be dishonoring and disappointing my family," Kagami said as she looked down in sadness with Luka trying to comfort her.
"Just because your family's values are different from everyone else and you finally realize it, it doesn't mean you're a disappointment, Kagami. Don't take your mother's words too strongly," Sabine said in her motherly tone towards Kagami with everyone else murmuring in agreement, which brought a small smile from the Japanese girl.
Scene: Agreste's kitchen. Adrien, Nathalie and Gabriel are eating together at the table.
Gabriel: All things considered, I understand why you like that Marinette Dupain-Cheng so much.
Adrien: You do?
Gabriel: She really is an incredible young lady. Such passion, such determination. Enjoy your time with her, my son. These are precious moments, creating memories you will cherish deeply... when you're in London next year.
"WHAT?!" Everyone in the audience exclaimed in shock and anger to what Mr. Agreste just said on-screen.
"NOW I HAVE TO MOVE TO LONDON AND BE AWAY FROM YOU ALL?! WILL MY FATHER'S TYRANNY NEVER END?!" Adrien exclaimed in extreme anger with Marinette trying to hold him in comfort.
"Calm down, kitty cat! We'll all figure this out! I promise you! Like I said, I'll never abandon you!" Marinette then exclaimed which slowly succeeded in calming her boyfriend down and then he hugged her in tears while she hugged back.
Adrien: (looks at his father baffled, then stands up furious. After a moment, he calms himself down.) May I go up to my room? I think I've lost my appetite.
Gabriel: But of course, Adrien, you're free. (Adrien walks out.)
Nathalie: You really want to send him to London?
Gabriel: It's for his own good, and I don't know who could stop me. (Nathalie scowls.)
Scene: Adrien's room.
Adrien: (speaks to Marinette through a video call.) What you did with my father was heroic. I wish I had your courage. I'll always love you, you know?
Marinette: Adrien, is everything alright?
Adrien: Of course everything's alright. Goodnight, Marinette.
Marinette: Goodnight, Adrien. (Hangs up.)
Plagg: Of course? Of course?! Not of course! Nothing's alright at all, that's for sure! How are you gonna be Cat Noir if you're in London?! And Marinette? How are you gonna be together if you're not together? What are we gonna do?!
Adrien: I don't know, Plagg, but I hope we'll figure it out.
Scene: Sorbonne. Kagami sits alone in a cinema room.
Félix: (walks in.) Were you followed?
Kagami: My mother thinks I'm at Ikebana class.
Félix: (hands Kagami her ring.) The ring you gave your mother was a fake. This is the real one.
Kagami: How is this possible?
"How…why…?" Kagami stammered in shock at what Felix just did for her on-screen as well as everyone else.
"Well, Kagami, the family crest ring you're wearing…must contain the amok that created you. Your mother let you wear it because she thought she had you perfectly under control. But she asked you to give it back when she realizes you're starting to rebel against her," Angel explained in which Kagami looked at her family crest ring in awe while everyone else nodded in understanding though still shocked.
Félix: The last of the Tsurugis isn't your mother, it's you. The rules of your family no longer have to be created by your ancestors. From now on, they're yours to make. (Kagami smiles at Félix and takes his hand.)
"So, I reciprocate Felix's feelings?" Kagami asked in shock as well as everyone else while Angel responded with a nod in confirmation. Kagami then gave an awkward look towards Luka who just gave her a reassuring smile.
"This is an alternate future. Who's to say you'll eventually fall for Felix? Let's think about the present for now," Luka said to the Japanese girl who nodded back with a smile on her face. "And try not to worry too much about this whole sentibeing thing. You may not have been created naturally, but you have all the qualities you need to be considered human like the rest of us," Luka then said, which made everyone else murmur excitedly in agreement.
"OK, the next episode is called Revelation which doesn't refer to a Miraculous. The akumatized villain in this episode is called Hoaxer which is a new version of Volpina. No need to tell you who that is, right?" Angel announced to her audience who groaned in annoyance, knowing who she's talking about.
"What is that lying witch up to now?" Marinette asked as she facepalmed.
"You'll see. For the next couple episodes, you're all gonna find out surprising truths about Lila that even you Marinette would not see coming, therefore the episode name Revelation which means surprising truths. Anyway, let's play!" Angel said as she played the episode as the audience shared worried looks to each other about what more Lila's hiding.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I know that the series wiki didn't confirm that Kagami is a sentimonster, but that's what I gathered from what Felix said in the episode, so I'm making her one in this story.
