Chapter 2
After a delicious meal, Ash sat in the common room with the X-Men.
"So, you were traveling through the city when you saw Nightcrawler." Kitty asked.
"Yeah. I travel through cities a lot. Being a Pokemon Trainer, it's kinda my thing. In fact, I was looking for the Pokemon Center. Almost every city has one." Ash said.
"What were you looking for the Pokemon Center for? Were your Pokemon injured?" Scott asked.
"No, but it never hurts to heal them at one. Also, Trainers can stay there overnight." Ash said.
"Tell you what, Ash. Why don't you stay with us for a few days?" Jean asked.
"Thanks, but I couldn't barge in on you like that." Ash said.
"Not at all. We have plenty of room." Professor Xavier said.
"All right. I would like to know more about you guys and your powers." Ash said.
Suddenly, a giant Gengar phased through the floor behind Ash, spooking him.
"A Gengar!" Ash said before the Gengar lifted the top half of its head to reveal Kitty.
"Like my Halloween costume?" Kitty asked.
"Halloween costume?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, I made Pokemon-themed costumes for everyone. I thought it would be fun since they share similar powers." Kitty said before she went and retrieved a box full of Pokemon costumes.
Later, everyone had changed into them. Cyclops was dressed like Charizard. Jean was dressed like Gardevoir. Evan was dressed like a Sandslash. Storm was dressed like a Castform. Rogue was dressed like a Ditto. Nightcrawler was dressed like Abra. Beast was dressed like Primeape. Professor Xavier was dressed like Mewtwo. But Logan was nowhere to be seen.
"Logan, where are you?" asked Kitty. A loud grunt was heard before Logan reluctantly stepped into the room, dressed like a Meowth. Everyone tried to keep themselves together before they burst into laughter.
"Those costumes are pretty cool!" Ash said.
"Glad you think so, Ash. I have a spare that you can wear." Kitty said before she retrieved a Pikachu costume.
With everyone now wearing a Pokemon costume, they got a Halloween party underway. They enjoyed candy, sweets, and played party games.
"So, Ash, how are you liking the party?" Kitty asked.
"It's pretty fun." Ash said before he saw everyone gathering under a pinata. Everyone took turns trying to break it, Ash included.
Ash tried breaking it with a stick until he got an idea, "Pikachu, Iron Tail!" he said.
Pikachu leapt up and used Iron Tail on the pinata, causing candy to spill out.
"Ash sure has made this party unique." Jean said.
