I opened my eyes and felt my body move under my covers. Weirdly, I don't remember going to sleep last night. I looked at my desk and saw a can of Lava Crush soda on it. That explains everything. Behind my can was my alarm clock and it read seven in the morning and that it was Friday.
"Oh no," I jumped out of bed rushing to get my clothes together. I could hear some noise from the hallway but I was in a rush. Getting in some sweatpants and a zip-up jacket. I stopped in front of my mirror to put a hair tie on my neck fur and then I looked at my ears. Maybe it would be cool if I got it pierced. I know Arthur got his piercings and it makes him look so hot. Focus, you need to get ready for school. I left my room and made my way down the stairs and in the living room, I saw my mother, a Dragonite, and a shiny Sylveon.
"Ashley!" I shouted my cousin's name in shock.
"Good to see you Tyler," she giggled. I was very confused. My cousin here is a singer and a well-known one but she's casually here in the living room. Without a second thought, I hugged her happy to see her.
"Did we not tell you, your cousin here is transferring to Evergreen High School and will be staying here with us," my mother's voice was full of joy.
"She flew in this morning, and her things will come within the next week. It will be a full house with Ashley, Xavier, and you," My father, a big Noivern, came out from the back kitchen.
"As much as I love all of this we need to get going if we don't want to be late," I grabbed Ashley's hand as we rushed out the door.
"Have a good day, both of you," my parents said as we raced out the door.
Bit of a late introduction, but I'm Tyler Loft, fifteen, and a sophomore at Evergreen High School within the Elemental region. We aren't too far into the semester as it has barely become fall.
"Stop dragging the poor girl behind you," A sly voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I was stopped by Luke, an Absol friend of mine. If he's here then someone else is not so far behind.
"Tyler! Good morning," A Luxray hugged me, almost dragging me to the ground.
"Good morning to both of you," I said with a strained breath. The Luxray let me go quickly and then acknowledged the girl behind me. "Is this Ashley Ribbon a famous teen pop idol," The Luxaray started to charge electricity through her body.
"Calm down Skye, she's my cousin and will be joining us in school," I sighed.
"I don't need introductions. He's right though and please just treat me like I'm a normal Pokemon," She smiled, but I knew that look implied 'or else'. The four of us continued our walk to school. As my friends started introducing themselves to Ashley. Luke Soul whom I met last year, is a junior and is seventeen. Then we have Skye Jinx who is sixteen and a sophomore like me. Then we have my cousin. She is seventeen however due to her being a pop idol her schooling got messed up and she's a sophomore like me. As we got closer to school our conversation picked up.
"I hear that they are going to allow us to pick out our future schools today," Luke said with a smirk.
"Already, isn't it a bit early," I interjected.
"Maybe, but it is only us expressing interest not applying," Skye said nonchalantly.
"Let's not forget it's everyone's dream to attend one school," Luke pointed out.
"Ferrum Battle College," We all said together. The school is selective. Not to mention they hand out invitations to tournament winners for the Elemental Region Holy Road Tournament. Not only that, but they specialize in fighting, Contests, and Support.
"As much as I want to stick around you guys I need to go to see the Dean about my schedule and locker. I'll see you guys later," Ashely left down the halls. As she walked away you could see other Pokemon staring at her as if they knew her but not sure from where. We all took that as a sign to go our own ways to class as I needed to stop by my locker. I didn't need to, I only did it to see one Pokemon in particular. While switching out my things I looked a few lockers down and saw the hottest dragon in school. I could tell he just came from doing zero-hour weights, he was slightly out of breath, his muscles pressed against his shirt and his hair was still a bit wet. Today's the day you talk to him. In the past, our interaction has been limited to seconds of awkwardness or him helping me after I dropped something. The funny thing is I've known him since middle school but liked him from afar. Though then we were relatively the same height, him a Gible and me a Noibat. Now he's a full-grown Garchomp. Don't forget he's older than you by almost a year, but my birthday is soon and I will also be sixteen. Stop psyching yourself out and go for it.
I walked over to his locker "Hey Arthur would you-," I was then cut off by another presence.
"Morning Arthur! Are you ready for homeroom?" The joy in his voice was full of poison as a Flygon appeared beside Arthur.
"Not yet give me a moment," His deep voice made my body shiver. He then looked at me. "Were you saying something Tyler?" He looked interested in what I had to say, but I could feel a blush creep up on my scales. I then looked towards the Flygon and he wore a smirk.
Action: Just a little snippet of what is to come not to mention some of the story already has changed.
Ashley: Do you all like the changes he made.
Tyler: Please do stick around for the official release come January first.
