A/N: If you read this, thank you. This was mostly written for me, however, all good things must come to an end and this seemed as good a place any to tie everything together.

Aliana and Oromis returned home to Du Weldenvarden with their dragons. As Oromis had observed, Aliana turned out to be very gifted with the boost of magic, becoming the first Rider to master all the spells required and earning the title of Master Healer earlier than any being had since the Fall, a designation the collective of physicians in Ellesméra were more than happy to bestow upon her. Her family's tome came to be displayed in the main Healer Hall and her use of it to treat Oromis' condition went down in history as the most visionary method ever discovered.

She gave birth to a healthy baby boy, whom they agreed to name Toren in honor of her father. Toren was the first of many children who came into her and Oromis's lives in Du Weldenvarden. She loved the forest far more than Uru'baen, her home with Oromis and the little ones far enough for them to have their own space, yet close enough that education was not far away for their growing kids.

Starfire and Glaedr created a nest to have their little ones, saving a few to choose their own Riders later, setting an example for the other pairs that came together later like Sapphira and Fírnen. The wild dragons returned to the Hadrac Desert nearly one hundred years later, intermingling with the descendants of the Bonded, giving at least one or two eggs as well.

Aerin restored her homeland Belatona to its former glory during her visits aboard Amethyst with her beloved K'aeligh. She forgave her father and let him meet her daughter Lily she and K'aeligh had five years after the defeat of Galbatorix. Of course, some still spread the rumor it could not be the Shade's progeny, though Lily had inherited K'aeligh's red-black hair and Aerin's beauty. Lily was also the first to come into her parents' arms and brighten them, proving once and for all that Shades could indeed have offspring.

The other Shades came into their own as an acknowledged species by all. Some still feared them, many took a few generations to want to interact, and the rest seemed to ignore them for the most part with the exception of trading goods. They became well-known for their carving of rare rocks similar to the dwarves, as well as for having the choicest cuts of raw meat in all of Alagaësia.

Arya became the first elven queen in history married to a human and with Eragon at her side, she quickly grew to be the most beloved monarch since her mother. She soon had babies of her own to raise while ruling, encouraging them to pursue art and learn to fight and rule and be Argetlam just like her and Eragon.

Nasuada received a great deal of backlash for wedding Murtagh, even though he and Thorn had shown true loyalty to Eragon when it mattered most. Over time, the protests quieted as Murtagh showed patience and kindness no one had seen from him or his father under Galbatorix's tyranny. He spoke out about how he and Thorn had been used, tortured, and threatened constantly under the old monarch, and eventually most realized his actions during that period were not his fault. Their authority and their children's inheritance were often challenged by dissenters and those who still supported Galbatorix, however, their allies from the Varden were never far away.

These alliances were only strengthened as their posterity intermingled over time, building better relations and a happier world that healed more and more until peace reigned and Galbatorix was nothing more than a distant memory and warning of what could happen to anyone if not aware of what they may become.

The End.
