Chapter 15
(A few weeks later)
It had been a few weeks since everyone had returned from the digital world.
And while everyone was getting used to things going back to normal, Naruto knew that it was only a matter of time before something would happen.
Currently, it was the weekend and Naruto, Will and Rika were all hanging out in the city, eating some fries and burgers at a burger joint.
As they were eating their food, they suddenly heard what sounded like people yelling down the street, and soon they saw what looked like people running past the restaurant.
"Oh great, an evil Digimon is in the human world" Rika said with a scowl.
Naruto and Will looked at the giant TV display on one of the tall buildings, and saw the live news report on what was happening, which showed that the city was being engulfed by what looked like…..
"Looks like the old man and chicken boys truce didn't amount to much" Will said with a scowl, as she recognized the D-Reaper, which was slowly engulfing the city.
"You think the others know about this?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
Suddenly, what looked like WarGrowlmon and GrapLeomon flew overhead, as they made their way towards where the people were running away from.
"I'd say that's a yes" Rika said, as Renamon appeared next to her.
"Hey, where's the furball? He should pull some weight around and help us" Will said, as she stood up.
"I'm right here Wilma - ow!" Kurama said as he appeared next to Will, before Will kicked him hard in the shin.
"Cut the crap and go make yourself useful" Rika said with an annoyed tone, as they looked at Kurama, while she took out her Digivice, which she quickly scanned a card through.
"Renamon Warp Digivolve to…Sakuyamon!"
Kurama watched as Sakuyamon flew off to join the battle.
"Oi, are you gonna help out or leer like a moron?" Will asked, as she raised an eyebrow at Kurama.
"Heh, just watch me kick some ass," Kurama said with a grin, as he started to glow with red energy, before he was engulfed and his form changed.
When the energy cleared, what stood in Kurama's place was what looked like a humanoid fox, the same size as Sakuyamon, who was wearing a dark orange trench coat and holding a massive broadsword, and he had what looked like a shotgun on his belt.
"Kinda giving off Beelzemon vibes, buddy" Naruto said as he chuckled at this.
"Hey, he was kicking your ass for a while," Kurama said with a smirk, before he jumped and took off, jumping from building to building to catch up with the others.
"Ok, let's go back the others up. We can't let them have all the fun, after all" Will said, as she let out Gatomon and BlackGatomon from her Digivice.
"No, we can't," Naruto said with a nod, as he released Agumon and Gabumon from his own Digivice.
Will scanned a card through her Digivice. ["Digi-Modify: DNA Digivolve Activate"] she yelled out.
This caused Gatomom and BlackGatomon to start to glow, as they flew into the air, before they collided, creating Mastemon.
"Going all out, huh?" Rika asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"It's the final battle, not the time to hold back" Will said, as she nodded at Mastemon, who flew off towards the battlefield.
"Okay guys, are you ready for this?" Naruto asked his partners with a grin.
"Yeah, let's go take down that ugly piece of slime," Agumon said, as he punched his fists together.
"That's if the others have left enough for us to beat up" Gabumon said as he smiled as Rapidmon, Cherubimon and Imperialdramon flew overhead.
Naruto nodded at this, as he held up his Digivice, causing him and his two partners to glow.
"Biomerge into...Omnimon!"
"See you later girls" Omnimon said, as he flew off.
"Hey, after this is all over, how about the three of us have some victory sex together!" Will yelled after him.
"Stay classy, babe," Omnimon said with a chuckle, as he flew off with a sweat drop on his head.
As omnimon flew off, an RV turned the corner and soon parked nearby, before the door opened.
"Quickly, get in!" Takato yelled from the driver's seat at Will and Rika.
"Yea, we're gonna go back up our partners!" Jeri yelled from the passenger seat.
"Good idea. We're in this together, after all" Rika said, as she got into the RV and saw that the other tamers were in the RV too.
As soon as Will and Rika got inside the RV, the vehicle took off down the road, making the two girls fall to the floor.
"Who the hell taught you how to drive?!" Will yelled at Takato.
"Playstation VR!" Takato yelled out, as he turned a corner.
"I told you that you should have driven," Kenta groaned at Henry.
"Yeah, what he said," Kazu said with a green face, while holding his stomach.
"That's a stop sign!" Henry yelled out.
"Go faster! Lopmon needs help!" Suzie yelled out.

(With the Digimon)
Omnimon soon arrived in the city, which was covered in the D-Reaper, which was being slowly engulfed and grabbed by what looked like living chords.
"About time you got here, slowpoke," Rapidmon said, as he fired missiles at the D-Reaper.
"Yea, we are losing ground here!" GrapLeomon yelled, as he slugged some of the D-Reapers cords, but this barely did anything.
"Oi, speak for yourself, weakling! I'm having a blast! Gahahahahaha!" Kurama yelled, as he ran around and slashed at the D-Reaper with his broadsword, easily slicing the D-Reaper into ribbons
"We can't all be Mega from the get go, ya jerk!" WarGrowlmon yelled, as he blasted his Atomic Blaster at the D-Reaper, which barely phased them.
"So you don't want my help?" Kurama asked, as he pointed at what looked like a tidal wave of wires approaching the three Ultimate level Digimon, ready to crush them.
"Holy Desire!" Mastemon yelled, as what looked like a barrage of arrows flew at the wires, easily tearing through it and deleting them.
"Thanks for the save!" Rapidmon yelled, as he waved at the fused Digimon.
"You lot need to step it up, now!" Imperialdramon yelled, as he blasted at the enemy with his arm blaster.
"Either that, or stick to helping civilians get out of here!" Sakuyamon yelled, as she smacked away some cords with her staff.
"Oh, speaking of which!" Kurama yelled, as what looked like an RV was making its way toward them.
Which soon side swiped some of the D-Reaper and slammed into a parked bus, before it stopped in its tracks, causing the door to open and some of the Tamers to pile out of the RV.
"Never again!" Kazu and Kenta yelled out together, as they kissed the street.
"That was fun! Let's go again!" Suzie yelled happily, as Henry dragged her out of the RV.
"That was you lot?" Rapidmon asked with an audible grin heard behind his mask.
"Please tell me it wasn't Will driving," Omnimon said as he landed.
"No, worse. It was Takato" Henry said.
"Damn it goggles, we didn't have the insurance on this!" Will yelled from inside the RV.
"Hey, I got us here, didn't I? Ow! Hey, watch the hair!" Takato was heard yelling.
"Get out of my sight, you idiot! Do you even have any idea how much this thing cost us?!" Will yelled, as she kicked Takato out of the RV.
"Uh, didn't Naruto buy this thing?" Kazu asked curiously, while Kenta nodded in agreement.
"SHUT UP!" Will bellowed at the two teens, causing them to scream.
"Yes ma'am" the two of them said together.
"Not that this isn't funny as hell, but we could use a boost here!" Rapidmon yelled, as he fired his Tri-Beam attack at the D-Reaper, which barely did anything to it.
"On it! OK cream puff, earn your fee!" Rika yelled as she ran out of the RV, holding Calumon in her arms.
"I'm on it!" Calumon yelled, as he focused hard and caused his forehead to start glowing brightly, which engulfed WarGrowlmon, Rapidmon and GrapLeomon.
"WarGrowlmon Digivolve to….Gallantmon!" The new Digimon had what looked like armor and wore a red cape, a joust in his left hand and a shield in his right.
"Rapidmon Digivolve to….MegaGargomon!" This Digimon was very huge, with rockets on either shoulder with faces on them, gatling guns on either arm and green and silver armor.
"GrapLeomon Digivolve to….BanchoLeomon!" This new Digimon had a piece of grass in his mouth, with a hat on his head, a trench coat hanging off his shoulders and a sword in his hand.
Everyone's eyes widened at the new Mega level Digimon while Takato, Henry and Jeri took out their Digivices to scan them.
"Gallantmon, a Mega level Digimon. He's classified as one of the Royal Knights. His Lightning Joust and Shield of the Just will knock his enemies down flat" Takato said.
"MegaGargomon, a machine type Mega Level. You don't want to be on the other end of his Gargo Missiles, as they send you flying" Henry said.
"BanchoLeomon, also Mega Level. He lives faithfully only to the 'Justice' in which it trusts. His Lion Slash and Flash Bancho Punch will easily defeat his opponents" Jeri said.
In the overtaken tower, where the core of the D-Reaper was, a surge of power went off, as what looked like dark red energy came out of the core, which started to form into four familiar figures.
"Oh, come on! Are you kidding me right now!?" Will yelled out, as she recognized the forms taken by the red energy.
"Well, it looks like we're gonna be fighting the old man and his fellow Sovereigns, if we want to get to the core" Omnimon said, as he unsheathed his sword as he glared at the D-Reaper clones of Azulongmon, Ebonwumon, Zhuqiaomon and Baihumon.
"Okay, so do we each choose one to fight, or just attack them all?" MegaGargomon asked curiously.
"We have them outnumbered and outgunned! I say we jump them and make them cry uncle!" Kurama yelled, before he jumped at Baihumon and slammed his bare claw into his head, as he fired his shotgun twice at him, then he jumped back as the cloned Digimon roared at him and attacked him.
"Sakuyamon, help that idiot before he gets hurt!" Rika yelled at her partner.
Sakuyamon nodded at this, before she unleashed her talismans to set up a defense for Kurama.
"Thanks, dollface. Hey, what do you say we have a date after this is all over?" Kurama asked with a grin at her.
"Earn it" Sakuyamon said, as she sent some spells at Baihumon.
This caused Kurama to pause, before he grinned madly. "You got it babe! Hey fido! Let me show ya something!" he yelled, before he jumped at Baihumon and slammed his claw into his face, then he grabbed him and slammed him into a wall, before dragging him against the wall, destroying it before running through a building nearby.
"Well, that's one way to get results, I guess," Henry said as he sweatdropped seeing this.
"Hey, eyes on the fight, big bro!" Suzie yelled, as Ebonwumon roared at them.
Before getting bombarded by yellow lighting and rockets, shot at him by Cherubimon and MegaGargomon.
"Thanks guys!" Henry yelled at them with a wave and a smile.
"Come on, you overgrown turkey! I'll roast you over a large fire pit!" Will yelled out at the Zhuqiaomon clone.
Zhuqiaomon just roared at this, as it fired some flames at Mastemon, but she just flew around the flames before blasting him with some darkness.
Before the fire bird could attack again, he was struck from behind with a kick from BanchoLeomon, sending him down to the ground.
As the bird Digimon started to get back up, Gallantmon was down the street from him, pointing his shield at him which was glowing.
"Shield of the Just!" Gallantmon shouted, before a beam of light was shot from his shield at Zhuqiaomon.
The attack struck its mark, making the clone screech out in pain, before Gallantmon rushed him with his joust pointed at him.
Omnimon flew at Azulongmon and glared at him, as he readied his lighting attack.
"Don't think cause you look like the old man, that I'm gonna hold back" Omnimon said, as unleashed his sword and swung it at the lighting flying at him, causing the lighting to go flying and split in half, before hitting several buildings nearby.
Omnimon raised his cannon to fire at Azulongmon, but before he could fire, the dragon Digimon attacked him and bit down at him, grabbing him in his jaw, trapping him.
"Naruto!" Will and Rika yelled together, seeing this happening.
"Someone needs to back him up!" Takato yelled at Mastemon, who was still fighting Zhuqiaomon.
"I'm kinda busy at the moment! He may not cry like a bitch like the original, but he's just as strong, damn it!" Mastemon yelled, as she held onto the bird Digimon's beak.
Omnimon struggled to keep Azulongmon from biting down on him, and struggled to aim his cannon down his throat.
Suddenly, a purple blast slammed into the side of Azulongmon, sending him flying into a building nearby, and causing Omnimon to fly out of his mouth.
Omnimon landed on a rooftop nearby and looked around for a few moments, before he spotted a new figure land nearby.
"Sorry that I'm late to help" Beelzemon said, as he landed and flapped his new wings and held up his new blaster arm. What also stood out was that his eyes were now green and not red like before.
"Beelzemon? Is that you?" Omnimon asked as he got to his feet.
"Yea, though this time I'm powered by my tamers, and not me being a jackass. Now let's send this wannabe packing, shall we. Corona Blaster!" he yelled, as he aimed his blaster at Azulongmon and fired at him, sending a giant purple ball at the dragon, making him roar in pain, before he flew at Beelzemon, causing him to fly out of the way.
Omnimon chuckled at this, as he flew after him while taking aim with his cannon, before firing at Azulongmon, hitting him in the back of the head.
Nearby a building exploded, as a damaged Baihumon was sent flying out of the building, and down the street, as Kurama flew at him with his sword ready.
Baihumon roared as he fired his Kongou at Kurama, causing everything in the way to get turned into metal.
But Kurama just smirked at this, as he swung his blade, cutting through the attack as he passed by Baihumon and stopped after passing him.
Baihumon turned to look at Kurama and growled at him.
"Heh, don't bother wannabe. I just cut you around 12 times, you're dead. So your brain should know it just about…now" Kurama said with a smirk, as he looked at the cloned Digimon.
Baihumon suddenly stopped growling, as he started falling to pieces and turning into data.
"And that's one taken care of," Kurama said with a grin.
"You do realize my spell is what gave you the defense boost, so that you could avoid his attack and finish him," Sakuyamon said, as she landed next to him.
"Oh? Does this mean that you like me?" Kurama asked with a smirk.
"…well, I could do worse for a mate, I guess," Sakuyamon said after a few moments of silence.
Kurama smirked at this, before he turned to look at the core tower of the D-Reaper. "Come on, let's go break that" he said, pointing his sword at the core tower.
"Good idea. We can become official later" Sakuyamon said, before she flew off towards the tower, with Kurama close behind her.
While this was happening, MegaGargomon and Cherubimon were continuing to fight Ebonwumon.
"We're barely making a dent in this thing's shell!" MegaGargomon yelled, as he fired off some more missiles at the cloned Digimon.
"No fair. His defense is too high!" Suzie yelled, as she hid behind Henry's leg.
"We need a way to get past his defense!" Kenta yelled as he gave a scowl.
"Like what, exactly? A giant jackhammer?" Imperialdramon yelled, as he fired his blaster at the enemy, but it did nothing.
"Pry his mouths open!" Suzie yelled out, as she pointed at the heads of the Digimon.
This caused the three Digimon fighting the turtle Digimon to pause at this.
"….leave it to the kid to have the best idea" Kazu said, as he gave a sigh at this.
"Well, I'm not gonna complain though," Kenta said, as he nodded at Imperialdramon.
"I'm on it!" Imperialdramon yelled, as he flew at one of Ebonwumon's heads and grabbed him from behind to try and pry his mouth open.
"I'll take the other one!" MegaGargomon yelled, as he did the same thing.
"When they are open, light them up Cherubimon!" Suzie yelled, as she pumped her fists in the air.
"Ok, no more hanging out with Will and Rika for you" Henry said, as he sweatdropped upon hearing this.
"Aw! But they're cool to hang out with" Suzie said with a pout.
Both Imperialdramon and MegaGargomon soon were able to pry open both of their mouths, while Cherubimon charged her attack above them.
"Heaven's Judgement!" Cherubimon yelled, as she summoned a large thundercloud, which fired a lot of lightning into Ebonwumon's mouths.
Imperialdramon and MegaGargomon quickly flew out of the way, while the lightning fried the cloned Digimon from the inside out. Soon enough, the Digimon turned into data and faded away.
"Yeah! And another one bites the dust!" Kenta yelled with a grin, as he and Kazu gave each other a high five.
"Ok you lot, get to the tower and help take out the core!" Henry yelled at the Digimon.
"We're on it!" MegaGargomon yelled, as he quickly flew off with Cherubimon following him.
"Better give them a boost!" Kazu said to Kenta, who nodded in agreement, as they both took out a card and scanned it through their Digivice's.
["Digi-Modify: Omnimon's Aura Activate!"] they both shouted.
"Mode change: Paladin Mode!" Imperialdramon yelled, as he turned pure white and a sword appeared in his hands, before he flew after MegaGargomon and Cherubimon.
Nearby Zhuqiaomon cried out loudly, as he summoned a massive amount of fire and fired it at Mastemon, who flew around his attacks, before firing some light and darkness blasts at him.
As she did this, BanchoLeomon jumped up a building behind Zhuqiaomon and when he made it to the top, he jumped off high above the clone bird Digimon.
"Lion Slash" BanchoLeomon yelled, as he swung his sword at one of Zhuqiaomon's wings, easily cutting through it, causing him to cry out as he fell to the street below, where Gallatmon was waiting with his joust at the ready.
He then lifted it up, just as Zhuqiaomon fell at him, and as he got closer…..
"Lightning Joust" Gallantmon shouted, as he fired energy from his joust, which connected with the cloned Digimon's head, making him cry out in pain, before he started to flicker and start to turn into data.
Mastemon hovered above the weakened clone Digimon, as she readied her attack.
"Holy Desire" Mastemon yelled, as she fired light arrows from her right arm.
This attack made contact with the cloned Digimon, who wasn't even able to cry out, before he exploded into data
"Good job with the wing!" Jeri said with a smile at her partner
"Hey, pat each other on the back later. We have more to do, you two" Will said, as she gave the D-Reaper tower where the core was a look.
"We're on it. Ok rookies, follow me!" Mastemom yelled, as she flew off towards the tower, with the two Mega Digimon quickly following her.
Nearby Omnimon and Beelzemon were still fighting the cloned dragon Digimon, who was still giving them a good fight.
"Corona Destroyer" Beelzemon shouted, as he drew a magic circle in the air with his cannon arm, before firing destructive waves at the center, which caused large blasts to hit the cloned Digimon.
Azulongmon took the attacks but roared as he fired some lightning at Beelzemon, who blocked with his wings, but he was sent flying into a building nearby.
"Beelzemon!" Omnimon yelled, as he blocked with his sword before he too was slammed away by Azulongmons tail, sending him down to a nearby rooftop.
"Naruto, why are you holding back?" Agumon thought at Naruto from within Omnimon's mind, as he got to his feet.
"Because I can tell these aren't clones, Agumon" Naruto thought to his partner, as he frowned as Omnimon watched Azulongmon fight with Beelzemon.
Agumon and Gabumon frowned at this, as they looked at each other, knowing that if this wasn't a clone, then this was most likely the real thing, corrupted by the D-Reaper.
"Naruto, we can't just let him -" Gabumon was saying, before he was cut off.
"I know that! But I just can't hurt the old man, not without knowing what he would want" Naruto said, as Omnimon glared at Azulongmon.
Azulongmon glared at Omnimon for a few moments, before he paused and then he started to glow red and began to roar.
"Old man!" Naruto, Agumon and Gabumon yelled out, knowing that this roar was of pain.
"Destroy!" Azulongmon yelled, before he started to charge a big lighting attack in the sky, which started to strike the city below him.
Naruto seeing this and seeing the destruction lowered his head, before he glared at Azulongmon, along with Agumon and Gabumon. "You got it old man" they all said together, as they all started to glow white.
Suddenly, Omnimon started to glow white and suddenly his cape exploded, and turned into what looked like angel wings.
His sword and cannon also started to glow and became more defined, as they too glowed with new power, turning them into a katana and blaster.
Omnimon then aimed his blaster at Azulongmon and fired it, firing a laser at the attack charging behind the dragon Digimon, and easily tearing through it and making it disperse.
Omnimon then took flight into the air, and his katana started to glow, before he swung it down, causing it to extend like a whip, as it flew at Azulongmon and with a quick maneuver, it cut through the dragon Digimon.
Azulongmon said nothing to this, as he started to turn to data and as he faded away, he smiled and closed his eyes at Omnimon.
Omnimon nodded at this, before Beelzemon hovered next to him.
"Where was this power the whole time? Have you still been holding back?" Beelzemon asked curiously, as he looked at Omnimon's new form.
"I just unlocked it. I think that Kazu and Kenta call it Merciful Mode" Omnimon said, as he turned to look at the D-Reaper's tower, where the other Digimon were fighting.
"I'm right behind you. Let's finish this, though try to let me get a few attacks in first, before you blow it away with your new power" Beelzemon said with a chuckle.
"No promises" Omnimon said, as he flew off towards the battle.

(At the battle)
With the others, they were all trying to blast their way through the D-Reaper's barrier, so that they could attack the core. But the barrier was taking all of their attacks easily, while healing itself from what little damage they did to it.
"This is ridiculous!" Kazu yelled, as Imperialdramon slashed the barrier with his blade.
"Yeah! It's healing faster than we can hurt it!" Kenta yelled with a nod.
"We need an attack that can pierce through its barrier completely!" Rika yelled with a scowl.
"Hey, how about all attacking one place at the sametime?" Suzie said with a tilt of her head.
"We need to take care of the barrier first, before we hit it with everything we have," Henry said.
"Fearsome Blade!" Omnimom yelled, as he flew at the D-Reapers tower, cutting through the barrier…and the entire tower with it.
"COOL! OMNIMON MERCIFUL MODE!" Kazu and Kenta yelled out with stars in their eyes.
"It's open!" Takato yelled out to everyone as the barrer fell.
"Light it up!" Will shouted, as she pointed at the D-Reaper's core.
"Lightning Joust!" Gallatmon yelled, as his joust surged with energy, before he fired at the core.
"Gargo Missiles!" MegaGargomon yelled, as he fired every missile he had at the core
"Amethyst Wind" Sakuyamon yelled, as she unleashed a storm of purifying cherry blossoms aimed at the core.
"Corona Blaster!" Beelzemon yelled, as he fired continuous blasts at the core.
"Flash Bancho Punch!" BanchoLeomon yelled, as he thrust his fist out, sending a powerful shockwave at the core.
"Lightning Spear!" Cherubimon yelled, as she threw a spear of lightning at the core.
"Giga Crusher!" Imperialdramon yelled, as he fired a blast from his chest at the core.
"I don't name my attacks, but fuck you!" Kurama yelled, as he threw his broadsword at the core, which was ignited with all the power he could muster.
"Dark Despair!" Mastemon yelled, as she grabbed at the core with a phantom hand made of darkness.
Omnimon took aim with his blaster, as it charged, ready to finish the job. "Graceful Cannon!" he yelled, as he fired at the core.
The barrage of attacks hit their mark, making a massive explosion and causing the Digimon to go down to the streets, and to be cover for the humans on the ground below.
As the dust started to clear, everyone saw that the red jelly and the tentacles of the D-Reaper was fading away into nothing.
"Heh. Well, it looks like we won that one" Kurama said with a grin as he rubbed his nose, before he glowed and switched to his rookie form.
All of the other Digimon started to glow and shrunk down to their rookie forms too, just as what looked like Janyu and what looked like two small children ran over.
"Impmon!" the two children yelled as they approached the group.
As they ran up to Impmon and hugged him, the other tamers took note of the Digivice they were holding.
"Ehhhh?!" Kazu and Kenta yelled upon seeing this, as Omnimon shrunk down back into Naruto, Agumon and Gabumon.
"Oh yeah. Impmon told me that his new form was thanks to his tamers," Naruto said nonchalantly.
"So is it over?" Jeri asked, as they looked at the destroyed tower for a few moments
"Yeah, I think so," Takato said with a smile at her.
"Well, here's hoping that it doesn't come back. And if it does, I'll enjoy kicking its butt again!" Suzie said with a grin, while punching her fist forward.
This got some laughs from the others, before the Digimon started to glow and started to slowly shrink.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Kurama yelled, as he turned into a small fox.
"I was afraid of this," Janyu said as he frowned.
"Why? What is it dad?" Henry asked curiously, as he held the shrinking Terriermon.
"When we were scanning the Digital World, we did a scan on the D-Reaper, and we found out that when the D-Reaper was gonna be destroyed, it would reboot the Digital World, which means that the Digimon will have to go back to the Digital World, if they want to resync with it" Janyu said, as what looked like a digital doorway appeared above them.
"So we have to say goodbye," Naruto said with a frown, as he looked at his partners.
"No! I don't want Lopmon to go! I want her to stay with me!" Suzie yelled, as she hugged Lopmon.
The other tamers looked at their Digimon, as they kept shrinking and soon they were in their In-Training forms.
"They have to kid, otherwise they will fade to nothing" Rika said, as she held back her tears.
The Digimon then started to float in the air, and started to fly through the air towards the portal.
"Veemon! You better take care of yourself!" Kazu yelled at his partner.
"Wormmon! Thanks for letting me be your partner!" Kenta yelled out, as he waved his hand in the air.
"Impmon, we're sorry for being brats!" Mako and Ai yelled out with tears running down their cheeks.
"Leomon! I'll try to stay strong, like you taught me!" Jeri yelled at her partner.
"Lopmon! I'll try to not cry as much!" Suzie cried, as she hugged her partner before she let her go.
"Takatomon, you think we can see each other again?" Guilmon asked curiously, as he floated in the air.
Takato smiled as he cried a little, before he nodded. "Yeah, we just might," he said.
"Renamon! Keep that moron in line!" Rika yelled, as she pointed at Kurama.
Kurama turned red as he growled at this, while Renamon gave Rika a smile.
"Terriermon, try not to pick on anyone in the Digital World" Henry said
"Momentai" Terriermon said with a smile as he nodded at this, as he floated towards the portal.
"You two better stick together, you hear?!" Will yelled at her partners.
Gatomon and BlackGatomon both smiled and nodded at this.
Naruto looked at his partners and smiled at them, as he hugged them, before he let them go then he looked at Kurama.
"Don't expect a hug," Kurama said with a scoff as he looked to the side.
"I wouldn't dream of it. You just have to be sure to limit yourself to fighting jerks, ok?" Naruto asked with a smile, as he held out his fist to Kurama.
Kurama looked at the fist, before he chuckled. "I guess I could do that" he said, before he fist bumped with him, before he too started to float towards the portal with the other Digimon.
Soon enough, all of the Digimon were gone and the portal was closed.
Naruto looked at Will and Rika and saw they were both lightly crying, while the others were full on crying.
"Hey you guys, don't worry. I'm sure eventually the Digital World will be all healed, and then we can go see them" Naruto said to his team, hoping to give them some hope.
Everyone wiped their eyes at this, as they all nodded.

(Months later)
It had been at least six months since the D-Reaper had been defeated and the Digimon had left the human world.
Things had pretty much gone back to normal for everyone too.
Everyone still hung out sometimes of course, and they still got recognized by people, seeing as they had saved the world.
Which some of them were more than happy to brag about.
Right now, Naruto was in the park with Takato while walking towards their meet up place with Jeri, Will and Rika, seeing as they wanted to go to their favorite ice cream parlor.
"Why are we taking this route?" Naruto asked curiously, as he looked around and noticed what looked like a small building on top of a stack of stairs nearby.
"I, uh, used to hide Guilmon here after I first found him," Takato said, as he looked at the small building with a smile.
"Ah. You're feeling nostalgic, huh?" Naruto asked, as he looked at the building.
"Yea" Takato said with a nod, as he reminisced a bit.
"Well, make it quick. If we're late, it's gonna cost us, and I'm not above blaming you" Naruto said with a teasing smirk.
"Gah! Let's go!" Takato yelled as he turned to run.
Naruto laughed at this, and turned to follow his friend. But paused, as he noticed something out of the edge of his line of sight, and when he turned around, he saw what looked like….
"A DigiGnome?" he thought curiously.
"Come on! I can't afford to pay for Will's bill, if we're late!" Takato yelled out.
"Hold on Takato, let's take a look for a minute," Naruto said, as he approached Guilmon's hideout.
"Okay, fine. But you're taking the hit to the wallet" Takato said, as he ran back to Naruto.
Naruto rolled his eyes at this, as he opened the gates to the hideout and entered with Takato.
They soon entered what looked like a cave and after a few moments of walking, they paused in shock at what they saw…..
A digital portal at the back of the cave.
After a few moments of silence, Naruto chuckled. "Well, looks like you get to keep that promise, Takatomon" Naruto said, as he patted his friend on the shoulder.
Takato smiled brightly at this, as he nodded.
